We see a child who was taught to think only of himself by parents as if he could have a perfect image before others - they carry this practice with him until they change it.

 

We continue to parent ourselves as our parents parented us unless we change our behavior.

 

Many people were given great recognition from parents to help them have a very good self image of themselves,

 

but if parents were selfish, they may have criticized, belittled, abused, and punished their children because of their own anger and 'darkness' inside of them.

 

They may try, in a relationship, by controlling money or other things to force their unloving behavior on others and continue to grow more and more self centered -turning inward and darker inside.

 

I see the Jesus statue looking up and it reminds me of John 17.

 

The whole mission of the Shepherd's of Christ is to bring this oneness Jesus speaks of to the Church and the world by spreading peace and unity and love.

 

God is love and in Him their is no darkness.

 

When our habits and behavior patterns are bad patterns of behavior trying to do what we do harder is going to produce worse results.

We need to change our behavior.

 

Their is a command- resistance cycle within a person that does not parent themselves today as they should and they do not want anyone telling them what to do.                                     

Their is 'the little child of the past' in all of us who wants their way and if allowed to operate without restriction 'the little child of the past' is selfish, self-centered and demanding- thinking only of themselves- turning inward not outward as God wants us to be, serving and loving and giving in our vocation for His honor and glory.

 

The book Your Inner Child of the Past  by Hugh Missildine, M.D. says:

 

*Once you were a child.

*That child still lives within you- influencing and interfering in your adult life.

*This book tells you HOW TO SOLVE YOUR ADULT EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS by recognizing, accepting and managing the feelings of YOUR INNER CHILD OF THE  PAST.

 

A person can have unacceptance of themselves and others and to help deal with this inner agitation within them, they can act out provoking measures on others, starting conflict, to act out on others, their own darkness and lack of peace.

 

Another maybe was hollered at at home so they seek out another-try to provoke and control them and then they constantly work their old problems of their old home on the other, the other has no control over the forced unacceptable behavior but are forced to deal with.

It can be like one putting a banana peel in the way of the other and so if they get up from slipping on the banana peel the other vindictive one  throws more peels down in front of them.

 

It is sad when one acts out hate on another, vengeance on an innocent other, but the 10 commandments are clear.

The 7 People Commandments

4) obeying authority (obedience) - there is perfect obedience in heaven.

5) Thou shalt not kill - it is wrong to intentionally hurt another and worse to carry angry energy out against another to play on them. Someone can provoke the most upsetment over a period of abuses and time.

 

SIN IS SIN

Jesus was bound at the pillar and whipped for our sins.

Jesus' head crowned with thorns because of the schemes in men's minds and evil in their hearts against their brother.

 

Remember the message in scripture: If you say you love God and hate your brother - you are a liar.

 

Passive-aggressive measures against our brothers may be extended as resistance while provoking in hidden ways and denying their evil ways.

Fr. Carter said we all have evil in us to work on.

Alcoholics Anonymous call it defects of character in us.

 

Those who want to punish others, use some means of force- withholding needed things for the other to do God's will - to control and punish them.

Fr. Mike said that some people were abused and if you treat them with love they punish the other back.

For they were punished and to them they never knew love- they know punishment-provoking and then punishing another to get a full effect of as much upsetment as possible to force their evil ways on others.

 

Jesus says:

I sweat blood for these the darkest of sins- lies of ones evil on their brother to inflict pain and try to destroy peace for the other in life.

I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Sin such as this will not go unpunished.

For your actions are not only evil, but to set a snare like the brothers of Joseph.

You have been given the commandments and My love and My gift in the Blessed Sacrament.

To this you did evil things and then came to Me with your sins red on your back.

I spit you out-I will not tolerate this punishment of your brother denying your behavior- like I don't know your sins- I read your hearts.

I have watched this sin.

I call you to humility and to love one another.

The devil has blinded your eyes and you have become enslaved through your sins.

 

Your goal should be to love others - love should be in you to be like Me, your goal to serve others- to have compassion on others- to know that  what you do to them, you have done to Me.

 

I cry blood for punishment and anger growing to greater abuse acted out on your brothers.
