Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

1 Corinthians 13: 12-13

Now we see only reflections in a mirror, mere riddles, but then we shall be seeing face to face. Now I can know only imperfectly; but then I shall know just as fully as I am myself known.

As it is, these remain: faith, hope and love, the three of them; and the greatest of them is love.

R. Life is to be lived now, in the moment. It’s the only moment you have.

With a pure heart, we know ourselves and God lives in this heart of purity.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

From a Lenten Homily, March 24, 2000

Live in the Moment

Today’s Gospel in its story certainly points ahead to Jesus in His Passion and death. And as we read passages such as this during the Lenten season, we are reminded once again that the Church in her Liturgy of the Word gives us an opportunity to undergo a purification, an ever deepening cleansing of ourselves so that we may be a more fit instrument for receiving the great graces which are to be given to us at the time of the Resurrection memorial on Easter. And so all in all, Lent is a time of purification to prepare us for ever-greater gifts of the Lord. It’s a time of self-discipline, a time to renew our efforts to be self-disciplined in the service of the Lord. Self-discipline is an aspect of purification. And I suggest that one of the most difficult acts of self-discipline in the spiritual journey is to concentrate on the present moment. We have a very strong tendency to disregard the importance of the present moment by focusing in a wrong way on the past or in a wrong way on the future. There are proper occasions for thinking of the past and the future. For example, we have to learn from the past and we have to prepare for the future, but our great emphasis has to be upon the present. There is a Latin axiom which says, age quod agis, age quod agis, which means: do what you are doing, concentrate on the present. And of course we are familiar with that term in the history of spirituality: the sacrament of the present moment. And so the discipline of Lent certainly encourages us to include in a deeper self-discipline a greater determination to get as much as we can out of the present moment. People with a terminal illness have an opportunity as they prepare for death for increased prayer, contrition, love of God. However, some are taken very, very quickly. But for those who have the opportunity of knowing with some certainty the time of their death, I’m sure as they look back on their lives, they are saddened by the many times they did not use time and opportunities for the service of the Lord properly, and are overjoyed at those times in which they did use the present opportunity properly. A great means we have of living in the present properly is a greater focus upon our Lord. For if I have that awareness of the fact I am united with Jesus here and now, why should I be concerned so much about the future or the past? Yes, a great help in living in the present and deriving all the good we can from it for ourselves and others is an ever greater focus upon Jesus, because the more I focus upon Jesus and the more I live with Him in the present moment, the more I am satisfied with the present moment. And so let us in our Lenten activity resolve to grow in that self-discipline - which is very difficult at times - to really live in the presence with the fullness of our being as much as is possible, with the help of God’s grace. Now is the day of salvation. Now is the day of salvation. end of excerpt

Jesus: How dearly I love you, My precious soul, How foolish it is to be addicted to one or many of the deadly sins.

All that is important is eternal life.

In baptism you are given a sharing in My life.

How is your interior disposition?

I am love.

I came to teach you how to love.
You were created in My image and likeness.

Satan is hate.
He hates God.
He hates you.
He hates people loving and giving to each other.

You were put on this earth to prepare for heaven.
In heaven there is unity. In heaven there is absolute purity.

In heaven there is the beatific vision.
When you see through the eyes of love, you see your brothers more and more as I see you - through the eyes of love.

Love gives to the other.
Love does not see their brother through jealous, envious eyes.

Love tells the truth. The person wanting God in them does not want any deception in their heart.
They know lies separate their hearts from others and from God.

I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Many a man thought they could stop doing their sinning on their death bed.
What a foolish soul to gamble with your eternal life.

You are to pray for strength to discipline yourselves against temptation,
you know not when the end will come.

If you cannot discipline yourself in life - how do you think you can do that if you are stripped down to your core before your death?

What you practice in life is how you will act when your body is failing, and you are stricken with a disease.
The time is now to quit lying. The time is now to quit sinning.

A man never gave love, he manipulated those around them and looked at them suspiciously. He practiced this life long.
This is in direct disobedience to My Commandments to tell the truth, to love your brother.

How can you be pure in love when you practiced lies and secrecy?

Discern the spirits.
These ways are from Satan.

Most of all, I am a merciful God and you deny the opportunity to be forgiven and live in peace and unity doing the Father's will in loving and telling the truth.

You lie to yourself.

Mary has delivered this message in this Movement 27 years.

The devil wants souls for all eternity in hell.
One mortal sin you commit out of malice and refuse to reconcile with God your Creator can put a soul in hell.

Pride can keep the sinner stuck. The devil works in pride and anger, jealousy, envy.

The devil is the Father of lies.

I want to forgive the sinner but the man holding on to self-righteous pride offends God making their brothers enemies through jealousy and envy.

I paid a precious price for your sins of pride and envy and jealousy.

Jesus: The Spirit of God brings peace and builds up.

The devil tears down.
The devil divides.
The devil is hate and wants you in jealousy, pride and control, treat your bothers as enemies trying to block God's will.

The more one gives into these secret sins of power, the more miserable he becomes. He walks in darkness and blindness and he is hurting his own soul.

Excerpt of The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. pp. 141-150

313. RULES FOR DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS
I

Rules for understanding to some extent the different movements produced in the soul and for recognizing those that are good to admit them, and those that are bad, to reject them. These rules are more suited to the first week

314.  I.  In the case of those who go from one mortal sin to another, the enemy is ordinarily accustomed to propose apparent pleasures. He fills their imagination with sensual delights and gratifications, the more readily to keep them in their vices and increase the number of their sins.

With such persons the good spirit uses a method which is the reverse of the above. Making use of the light of reason, he will rouse the sting of conscience and fill them with remorse.

315.  2.  In the case of those who go on earnestly striving to cleanse their souls from sin and who seek to rise in the service of God our Lord to greater perfection, the method pursued is the opposite of that mentioned in the first rule.

Then it is characteristic of the evil spirit to harass with anxiety, to afflict with sadness, to raise obstacles backed by fallacious reasonings that disturb the soul. Thus he seeks to prevent the soul from advancing.

It is characteristic of the good spirit, however, to give courage and strength, consolations, tears, inspirations, and peace. This He does by making all easy, by removing all obstacles so that the soul goes forward in doing good.

316.  3.  SPIRITUAL CONSOLATION.  I call it consolation when an interior movement is aroused in the soul, by which it is inflamed with love of its Creator and Lord, and as a consequence, can love no creature on the face of the earth for its own sake, but only in the Creator of them all. It is likewise consolation when one sheds tears that move to the love of God, whether it be because of sorrow for sins, or because of the sufferings of Christ our Lord, or for any other reason that is immediately directed to the praise and service of God. Finally, I call consolation every increase of faith, hope, and love, and all interior joy that invites and attracts to what is heavenly and to the salvation of one's soul by filling it with peace and quiet in its Creator and Lord.

317.  4.  SPIRITUAL DESOLATION.  I call desolation what is entirely the opposite of what is described in the third rule, as darkness of soul, turmoil of spirit, inclination to what is low and earthly, restlessness rising from many disturbances and temptations which lead to want of faith, want of hope, want of love. The soul is wholly slothful, tepid, sad, and separated, as it were, from its Creator and Lord. For just as consolation is the opposite of desolation, so the thoughts that spring from consolation are the opposite of those that spring from desolation.

318.  5.  In time of desolation we should never make any change, but remain firm and constant in the resolution and decision which guided us the day before the desolation, or in the decision to which we adhered in the preceding consolation. For just as in consolation the good spirit guides and counsels us, so in desolation the evil spirit guides and counsels. Following his counsels we can never find the way to a right decision.

319.  6.  Though in desolation we must never change our former resolutions, it will be very advantageous to intensify our activity against the desolation. We can insist more upon prayer, upon meditation, and on much examination of ourselves. We can make an effort in a suitable way to do some penance.

320.  7.  When one is in desolation, he should be mindful that God has left him to his natural powers to resist the different agitations and temptations of the enemy in order to try him. He can resist with the help of God, which always remains, though he may not clearly perceive it. For though God has taken from him the abundance of fervor and overflowing love and the intensity of His favors, nevertheless, he has sufficient grace for eternal salvation.

321.  8.  When one is in desolation, he should strive to persevere in patience. This reacts against the vexations that have overtaken him. Let him consider, too, that consolation will soon return, and in the meantime, he must diligently use the means against desolation which have been given in the sixth rule.

322.  9.  The principal reasons why we suffer from desolation are three:

The first is because we have been tepid and slothful or negligent in our exercises of piety, and so through our own fault spiritual consolation has been taken away from us.

The second reason is because God wishes to try us, to see how much we are worth, and how much we will advance in His service and praise when left without the generous reward of consolations and signal favors.

The third reason is because God wishes to give us a true knowledge and understanding of ourselves, so that we may have an intimate perception of the fact that it is not within our power to acquire and attain great devotion, intense love, tears, or any other spiritual consolation; but that all this is the gift and grace of God our Lord. God does not wish us to build on the property of another, to rise up in spirit in a certain pride and vainglory and attribute to ourselves the devotion and other effects of spiritual consolation.

323.  10.  When one enjoys consolation, let him consider how he will conduct himself during the time of ensuing desolation, and store up a supply of strength as defense against that day.

324.  11.  He who enjoys consolation should take care to humble himself and lower himself as much as possible. Let him recall how little he is able to do in time of desolation, when he is left without such grace or consolation.

On the other hand, one who suffers desolation should remember that by making use of the sufficient grace offered him, he can do much to withstand all his enemies. Let him find his strength in his Creator and Lord.

325.  12.  The enemy conducts himself as a woman. He is a weakling before a show of strength, and a tyrant if he has his will. It is characteristic of a woman in a quarrel with a man to lose courage and take to flight if the man shows that he is determined and fearless. However, if the man loses courage and begins to flee, the anger, vindictiveness, and rage of the woman surge up and know no bounds. In the same way, the enemy becomes weak, loses courage, and turns to flight with his seductions as soon as one leading a spiritual life faces his temptations boldly, and does exactly the opposite of what he suggests. However, if one begins to be afraid and to lose courage in temptations, no wild animal on earth can be more fierce than the enemy of our human nature. He will carry out his perverse intentions with consummate malice.

326.  13.  Our enemy may also be compared in his manner of acting to a false lover. He seeks to remain hidden and does not want to be discovered. If such a lover speaks with evil intention to the daughter of a good father, or to the wife of a good husband, and seeks to seduce them, he wants his words and solicitations kept secret. He is greatly displeased if his evil suggestions and depraved intentions are revealed by the daughter to her father, or by the wife to her husband. Then he readily sees he will not succeed in what he has begun. In the same way, when the enemy of our human nature tempts a just soul with his wiles and seductions, he earnestly desires that they be received secretly and kept secret. But if one manifests them to a confessor, or to some other spiritual person who understands his deceits and malicious designs, the evil one is very much vexed. For he knows that he cannot succeed in his evil undertaking, once his evident deceits have been revealed.

327.  14.  The conduct of our enemy may also be compared to the tactics of a leader intent upon seizing and plundering a position he desires. A commander and leader of an army will encamp, explore the fortifications and defenses of the stronghold, and attack at the weakest point. In the same way, the enemy of our human nature investigates from every side all our virtues, theological, cardinal, and moral. Where he finds the defenses of eternal salvation weakest and most deficient, there he attacks and tries to take us by storm.

328. RULES FOR DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS
II

Further rules for understanding the different movements produced in the soul. They serve for a more accurate discernment of spirits and are more suitable for the second week

329.  I.  It is characteristic of God and His Angels, when they act upon the soul, to give true happiness and spiritual joy, and to banish all the sadness and disturbances which are caused by the enemy.
It is characteristic of the evil one to fight against such happiness and consolation by proposing fallacious reasonings, subtilties, and continual deceptions.

330.  2.  God alone can give consolation to the soul without any previous cause. It belongs solely to the Creator to come into a soul, to leave it, to act upon it, to draw it wholly to the love of His Divine Majesty. I said without previous cause, that is, without any preceding perception or knowledge of any subject by which a soul might be led to such a consolation through its own acts of intellect and will.

331.  3.  If a cause precedes, both the good angel and the evil spirit can give consolation to a soul, but for a quite different purpose. The good angel consoles for the progress of the soul, that it may advance and rise to what is more perfect. The evil spirit consoles for purposes that are the contrary, and that afterwards he might draw the soul to his own perverse intentions and wickedness.

332.  4.  It is a mark of the evil spirit to assume the appearance of an angel of light. He begins by suggesting thoughts that are suited to a devout soul, and ends by suggesting his own. For example, he will suggest holy and pious thoughts that are wholly in conformity with the sanctity of the soul. Afterwards, he will endeavor little by little to end by drawing the soul into his hidden snares and evil designs.

333.  5.  We must carefully observe the whole course of our thoughts. If the beginning and middle and end of the course of thoughts are wholly good and directed to what is entirely right, it is a sign that they are from the good angel. But the course of thoughts suggested to us may terminate in something evil, or distracting, or less good than the soul had formerly proposed to do. Again, it may end in what weakens the soul, or disquiets it; or by destroying the peace, tranquility, and quiet which it had before, it may cause disturbance to the soul. These things are a clear sign that the thoughts are proceeding from the evil spirit, the enemy of our progress and eternal salvation.

334.  6.  When the enemy of our human nature has been detected and recognized by the trail of evil marking his course and by the wicked end to which he leads us, it will be profitable for one who has been tempted to review immediately the whole course of the temptation. Let him consider the series of good thoughts, how they arose, how the evil one gradually attempted to make him step down from the state of spiritual delight and joy in which he was, till finally he drew him to his wicked designs. The purpose of this review is that once such an experience has been understood and carefully observed, we may guard ourselves for the future against the customary deceits of the enemy.

335.  7.  In souls that are progressing to greater perfection, the action of the good angel is delicate, gentle, delightful. It may be compared to a drop of water penetrating a sponge.
The action of the evil spirit upon such souls is violent, noisy, and disturbing. It may be compared to a drop of water falling upon a stone.
In souls that are going from bad to worse, the action of the spirits mentioned above is just the reverse. The reason for this is to be sought in the opposition or similarity of these souls to the different kinds of spirits. When the disposition is contrary to that of the spirits, they enter with noise and commotion that are easily perceived. When the disposition is similar to that of the spirits, they enter silently, as one coming into his own house when the doors are open.

336.  8.  When consolation is without previous cause, as was said, there can be no deception in it, since it can proceed from God our Lord only. But a spiritual person who has received such a consolation must consider it very attentively, and must cautiously distinguish the actual time of the consolation from the period which follows it. At such a time the soul is still fervent and favored with the grace and aftereffects of the consolation which has passed. In this second period the soul frequently forms various resolutions and plans which are not granted directly by God our Lord. They may come from our own reasoning on the relations of our concepts and on the consequences of our judgments, or they may come from the good or evil spirit. Hence, they must be carefully examined before they are given full approval and put into execution. end of excerpt

R. Spiritual Exercises

We need to grow in the spiritual
life. St. Ignatius gives us the Discernment
of Spirits.

Is it of the Holy Spirit or is the
evil spirit moving in the soul?

Jesus gave me the Holy Spirit Novena,
praying for the gifts – so the Holy Spirit
floods the soul and operates in
the person, but pride is an
enemy to this.

How much water can you put
in a jar with the lid on it?

None – The person must pray
to die to those ways that close
the heart and soul down – like
a closed jar.

Pride is one of these –
the devil moves in pride –

    The devil moves in jealousy,
envy, anger, lust for food,
drink, sex, slothfulness –
desolation –
the evil spirit guides and
counsels in desolation and
the person allows them to
operate in this evil spirit
filling them –

They are closed to the Holy Spirit,
The Holy Spirit wants to come and
open the heart and soul to
the spiritual gifts the Holy Spirit
comes and brings.

How much water goes in a
bottle with a lid on –
NONE –

    To remain closed, caved-in,
in pride and anger and
jealousy, envy, lust,
gluttony, slothfulness
is to allow the evil
spirit to guide and
counsel and run things –

To be Godly is to have the
Holy Spirit coming with His gifts
in the open heart and soul
and guiding us with
this possession the Holy Spirit wants
in our soul –
    to guide, to council,
to mold us more and more in
the image of God –

And with the gifts of the Spirit,
come the fruits of the Holy Spirit
one of which is joy –
fruit for the Kingdom of God –

    You don't get fruit
for the spiritual life
out of angry, jealous,
closed, prideful,
undisciplined hearts –
What rules there is
the evil spirit –

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

April 27, 2021 Second Message

Jesus: My dear and precious child, the devil
hates. He hates the truth. He hates
the Church and the sacraments.
He hates the Eucharist. I am
Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
truly present Body, Blood, Soul
and Divinity. This is truth, My
child. The devil hates your love
of the Eucharist. I come to you,
truly present, when you receive
the Eucharist.

    Around the Eucharist is
myriads of angels. My Blue
Books are My letters of love, given
to you, to tell the world about
My love. I love you so much.
I am God, I have all the power,
the devil has no power, he
uses people that allow him
to bring disorder. The devil wants
lies and disorder. I am the
way, the truth and the life.
I am the light of life. I am
God and you shall have no
God's before Me. The devil
is real. He works in the deadly sins.
He uses people to do his evil
designs.

Ask yourself – Is it the Holy Spirit
that is working in your heart
and soul.

Song: Give me Your Heart oh Jesus

Jesus: You are to grow in your heart,
so your heart is a heart more
and more like My Sacred Heart.
My Heart is on-fire with love.
Even on the cross, in all My
pain and suffering, My love was
from My Sacred Heart of Divine
love.

Love is the answer. Love of
God, love of others as yourself.
I call the family to be a family
of love, a little strong unit
of love operating in the world.
Look at the dysfunction,
imbalance in the love of
husband and wives and
children. Now look at the
imbalance of children –
wounded deeply in homes, denying
their wounds and living wounded
in the world – making decisions,
laws for others to abide by
and follow.

I give you a sharing in My
life in baptism and I feed this
life with Myself in the Eucharist.
Satan wants souls filled with
the evil spirit, darkness, pride,
lies, jealousies, envy, consumed
with self-pleasures and lust.

Those who love Me keep My commandments.
They live under the authority of God.
This is proper order. Adam and Eve
sinned and disorder entered the
world. The disorder is in disease,
in the elements, in animals,
in men's hearts in pride and
anger and jealousy, envy,
in lust for selfish pleasures,
drinks, food, drugs. The
body rules in this with its
compulsions and disordered
undisciplined ways.

    In dysfunctional families there
is disorder, the dance to be put
in place by those who learned
it very well.

I made them male and female,
husbands are to love their
wives as I loved the Church,
children as olives plants around
the table.

    I am a God of justice. I
gave the commandments to
obey and to follow. I came
to teach you My way –

You are to obey the commandments
and live the Gospel message.
I speak and you listen and obey.
You have a free will to obey
God and follow My way or
write your own script. The
Church is the body of Christ.
I am the head of the body.
I give you the sacraments.
You can live a blessed and
graced life, a virtuous
life growing in love and
conversion or you can
carry your dysfunctions to the
grave.

You have a life-time to grow
more and more as I showed
you –
or a lifetime to disobey
My commandments and
live in disorder and darkness.

    You cannot serve two Masters.

Matthew 6: 24

'No one can be the slave of two masters: he will either hate the first and love the second, or be attached to the first and despise the second. You cannot be the slave of God and of money.

Jesus: Your life is but a single
breath, it is a test –
a chance for you to die to
your imperfections and grow
in My image and likeness.
You must discipline your wills.
You cannot follow in My
footsteps if you live to prove
your dark ways, you need to
change, your rule and
way of life.

I am the way, the truth
and the life.

    Heaven is a reward,
promised to those who love
and serve the Lord.

The devil is a roaring lion
prowling the earth, looking
for someone to devour. The
devil doesn't give up. He
wants souls for hell.

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light. end of Mary's Message

Jesus: A Mother is one who should help
to lead her children in the ways
of the heavenly Father. God
created men and women and
women are to carry the child
and give birth – the baby
suckles at the breast.

    My Mother is the perfect,
loving Mother. She is your
spiritual Mother. The devil
hates the Blessed Mother for
giving birth to the Son of God.
The devil is hate. He hates
the Mother of God.

My Mother is a gift, given
to you from the heavenly Father,
to help you grow in the
spiritual life. The Incarnation
goes on in you as you are
led to the Father, in My
pierced Heart, in the Holy Spirit
with My Mother at your
side.

Mary: I am your Mother of love.
The Holy Spirit works in you molding
you more and more in the image
of my Son, Jesus, You grow
in the spiritual life as the
Holy Spirit comes and moves
your hearts in the ways
of Jesus, but you must be
disciplined and giving your
will and heart in surrendering
love to God, Almighty.

    You must give your heart
and your will to God and
follow Jesus.

    The Shepherds of Christ Movement
is a gift from your heavenly Father to
lead you on your journey to
everlasting life in heaven,
in the beatific vision.
You must seek conversion
and dying to your ways of
darkness to rise in new life
in God.

I am Our Lady of Clearwater,
I give you my Mary water
to ward off satan and Jesus
gives you His water for healing.

    CLEAR - WATER –

April 26, 2021

R. Dear God,

I give you Myself.

Help me to live to do the will of the Heavenly Father.

Give me what I need to do this.

Give me the grace I need most.

Dear Holy Spirit enlighten me to know how to do the will of the Father in greater love.

Life is not life unless it is rooted in God.

We need to develop our heart to be like the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Jesus is the Heart of pure and perfect love.
He gave Himself on the cross,
in the bitter passion.

God knows all things.

God reads our hearts.
He knows the interior disposition of the person.

He knows the motive.

God wants us to give Him ourselves.

Galatians 2: 19-20

...I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me.

R. I know my sins, I know my defects in character and Jesus is the truth.
Jesus wants us to tell the truth about our faults, not lie about our faults to ourselves and to God.

Be sorry for our sins and have sorrow for sins, make reparation for the damage we have done in our sins and have a firm purpose of amendment.
Jesus is pure and perfect love.

Jesus is Divine love.
Love gives for the good of the other.

Love rejoices when others are living in love according to the Heavenly Father’s will.

1 Corinthians 15: 20-28

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

R. St. Ignatius wrote the Spiritual Exercises.

From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius
    by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. p. 12

                        23. FIRST PRINCIPLE AND FOUNDATION

Man is created to praise, reverence and serve God
our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.

R. To do all we do for the honor and glory of God.

From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius
    by Louis J. Puhl, S.J.
 p.11

21.                     SPIRITUAL EXERCISES

Which have as their purpose the conquest of self
and the regulation of one's life in such a way that
no decision is made under the influence of any
    inordinate attachment

R. To rid oneself of inordinate attachments.

Only God can satisfy the soul.

God calls all of us to serve Him in our lives.
We have a calling to respond to God’s calling in the way He calls us.

How are we doing following His plan or are we rejecting His plan and doing our own plan?

Lord, what do You want me to do?

How did Mary do it?

Mary was the perfect disciple of Jesus.
We meditate on the Seven Sorrows and it shows us how Mary suffered, but was the perfect handmaid of Jesus.

How are we living the Gospel? It just isn’t knowing the Gospel - it’s living the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

Living more and more in the image and likeness of Jesus.

What would Jesus do?
What is God’s plan for us?

Is our relationship with God most important in our lives?

What is going on in our hearts? Is it peace and love, harmony and serving God?

Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, life.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

R. Is the Holy Spirit in my heart
or is the devil working in my heart in desolation?

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
