Today's Readings
2 Peter 3: 12-15, 17-18
while you wait for the Day of God to come, and try to hasten its coming: on that Day the sky will dissolve in flames and the elements melt in the heat. What we are waiting for, relying on his promises, is the new heavens and new earth, where uprightness will be at home. So then, my dear friends, while you are waiting, do your best to live blameless and unsullied lives so that he will find you at peace. Think of our Lord’s patience as your opportunity to be saved; our brother Paul, who is so dear to us, told you this when he wrote to you with the wisdom that he was given.
Since you have been forewarned about this, my dear friends, be careful that you do not come to the point of losing the firm ground that you are standing on, carried away by the errors of unprincipled people. Instead, continue to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory, in time and eternity. Amen.
Mark 12: 13-17
Next they sent to him some Pharisees and some Herodians to catch him out in what he said. These came and said to him, 'Master, we know that you are an honest man, that you are not afraid of anyone, because human rank means nothing to you, and that you teach the way of God in all honesty. Is it permissible to pay taxes to Caesar or not? Should we pay or not?' Recognising their hypocrisy he said to them, 'Why are you putting me to the test? Hand me a denarius and let me see it.' They handed him one and he said to them, 'Whose portrait is this? Whose title?' They said to him, 'Caesar's.' Jesus said to them, 'Pay Caesar what belongs to Caesar — and God what belongs to God.' And they were amazed at him.

St. Peter in this reading is commanding them to follow the faith as they were
taught —
He says be faithful so you will receive the reward
of living by faith — and be taken to eternal life —
In the Gospel — They are trying to trap Jesus — some people didn't
like Romans —
They were paying the taxes and they went to
Jesus and thought he would say
don't pay the tax, but Jesus
turned the tables on them —
Mark 12: 17
Jesus said to them, 'Pay Caesar what belongs to Caesar — and God what belongs to God.'...
Later Jesus tells Peter with coin and fish to pay taxes —
Matthew 17: 24-27
When they reached Capernaum, the collectors of the half–shekel came to Peter and said, ‘Does your master not pay the half–shekel?’ ‘Yes,’ he replied, and went into the house. But before he could speak, Jesus said, ‘Simon, what is your opinion? From whom do earthly kings take toll or tribute? From their sons or from foreigners?’ And when he replied, ‘From foreigners,’ Jesus said, ‘Well then, the sons are exempt. However, so that we shall not be the downfall of others, go to the lake and cast a hook; take the first fish that rises, open its mouth and there you will find a shekel; take it and give it to them for me and for yourself.’
This is part of the 4th commandment —
we are to be obedient to those over us —
The Fourth commandment says you
are to obey those over you,
but we are not to obey laws opposed to laws of God,
like abortion —
obedience is under justice —
justice brings peace —
Obedience to those in authority comes under the 4th commandment —
In the Beginning of every Mass the
priest says —
Peace be with you —
Then we pray with the priest
for forgiveness of our sins —
forgiveness for how we have
offended God and offended our
brothers —
In today's Gospel we see how the 4th
commandment tells us to obey those in
authority over us, unless the rules
they demand, are against God's law —
(like abortion)
Being obedient is giving justice
to others —
Justice brings peace —
Living in harmony —
When one uses their job as power
against those in authority
they are disobeying this commandment —
usurping power of those over us is
wrong —
Punishing further through some secretive
method — provoking over and over
again to anger another is —
Jesus told me, 'debase'
Jesus said "as if that person will not be
held accountable for their
offenses, disharmonious,
challenging and unloving ways —
Jesus said - playing games with ones
work to hurt the place they work
for, comes from evil in the
heart and sin committed willfully
leads to greater darkness for that
individual" —
Jesus said: habits that are wrong such as these
become vices—
Just as one who does good, lives as
God desires, and lives a virtuous
life — a life of love — living
according to the commandments —
Fr. Mike said —
A person who commits sin and chooses
to do it - wants to do it —
If they make excuses they are
not taking responsibility
for their actions —
They do not act with accountability —
They do what they do because they choose
to —
They have a free will —
God has the absolute dominion —
The people in the Old Testament worshipped idols —
When we use our job for our own selfish
control of others, trying to
force our behavior which is wrong
on an institution, we are being
unjust —
We see in the Gospel we are to give to God
what is Gods and to Caesar what is
Caesars —
We are in need of conversion which is
at the center of the Fatima message —
of changing our ways —
We cannot serve two Masters
Remember God told Cain the devil was
lurking at his door, but you
can be Master over him —
Do we give into 'the Caesar of the day' —
Or do we do what God is calling us to do —
We face this every day —
Do we do God's will and live in justice —
Or do we
Do our will and act in injustice
which causes lack of peace —
Do we serve man, ourselves, false idols or
Do we obey the commandments of God
and serve God —
Do we give into the tendencies of our
wounded human nature —
Do we reflect the image of Jesus —
Do we reflect the image of satan —
who wants falsehood —
who wants lying —
seeking dominance for dominance sake —
The devil who wants us to seek power for ourselves to force others
to put up with our sinful
behavior
The devil wants us to seek affection for ourselves - wanting
peoples recognition and
it is so important to us,
we don't care if we disobey
the commandments of God
Who is our God?
Who do we serve?
We have a free will to obey the
commandments —
The 'relativists' says "that's your truth —
this is my truth" —
This is wrong —
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life —
We are to follow Jesus —
Pray to the Holy Spirit to have the truth in us —
Do you love me? Jesus said to Peter —
John says in the scripture
If I say I love God, but hate my
brother, I am a liar —
JUSTICE — OBEDIENCE
Oh Holy Spirit help us to follow Jesus
Oh Holy Spirit help us to be more and more in the image of Jesus —
Oh Holy Spirit help us to respect human life —
help us to give to our jobs what we should —
help us to give to others what we should —
Oh God help us to be holy —
Oh God help us to follow in the footsteps
of Jesus —
Help our lives to be holy —

How Do I Love Thee, Jesus?
April 19, 1994 at Father Smith's Chapel 9:45a.m.
R. How do I love You, Jesus? I love You according to where I am in my heart. Do I judge my brothers-some are okay and some I want to avoid? Do I see with Your eyes, God, every child most precious to You.
How do I love You, Jesus? Am I eager to spread Your love to the hurting ones as well as the nice ones? Do I remember how You loved all to Your death? You did not die just for some. You died for the precious love of each and every soul.
How do I love You, Jesus? Do I love You in my brothers this day, or do I think, "Tomorrow I will love them all the way He wants." Every minute of every day is an opportunity for me to love my hurting brothers. If I miss moments in this day to love, they miss the love You want to give to them through me.
How do I love You, Jesus? How will I love the people You put in my path today? Will I love at all? Will my heart be fixed on You, or will I think of my own selfish interests and let a golden opportunity slip through my fingers?
How did I love You, Jesus, this day? I cannot love, Jesus, as You did. I need Your Heart to live in me. I need my heart to be filled with Your love. Oh, Jesus, let me join my heart to Yours. Teach me to love, as You so desire, all my brothers with a heart of love.
How did I love You, Jesus, this day? I need You, Lord. I need Your grace. I need You joined to me. Make me selfless and empty, ready to be filled by You. Help me to love with a heart full of Your love. Your way is not easy, Lord. I cannot do it without You, working in me. Join my heart in love to You that I might love as You desire. I love You, Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all. How can I love You as I ought? Do I want to love You, Lord, in my brothers? Do I choose to love?
Do I forgive, Lord? Do I forgive as You did when You forgave those who crucified You? Do I see how You showed me the way to love? You are so beautiful, Lord. You showed the way to love and forgiveness. Teach me Your ways, Lord. When You taught them Your ways of love, Lord, You were not popular. They persecuted You. They did not want to hear Your ways. Help me to be open, Lord, to the changes You want to occur in me so I can grow to be the light You want to shine in this dark world.
Jesus: My child, there is no growth if the plant remains the same. Be ready to be pruned and plucked, cut back, watered, fertilized. Growth is not always easy, but what a beautiful plant in the end. Be ready for the pruning. Be ready for all that I send you. Be open and ready, for the day of the Lord is at hand. Every day you will be used to help others to grow in My love. Your trials are necessary for your growth. Without the trials you will not learn the teachings you need to do the work. Be an open door, accept all I send through the door and praise Him Who loves you dearly.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill will shine brightly with the love of God radiating from the hearts of those who dwell there. I call you, My child, to love one another. This will light the darkest night. I am your Jesus, Son of the Living God. I am that light that shines from you. Be open to Me. Be ready, for My day is at hand and I operate from you. I love you, My beloved ones. Harken to My call. It is an urgent call from Him Who loves you dearly and cries out for the love of My beloved little ones who are in darkness. Do not be distracted by this world. Focus on Me and My love. I am the light that shines in the darkness. Let My light shine from your souls.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
Jesus: This is the month of My Sacred Heart. I ask you to love Me and sing to Me. Sing My praises. Sing the songs I have given you, listen to them. Think of My love and My Blood. I want us to grow in our love union today.
Jesus: I love you so much. Circulate the message

1. I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.
Here is another promise of Our Lord:
I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit.

Agony in the garden
Jesus:
1. I loved you so much I gave Myself for you.
2. You do not fully comprehend how real I am.
3. You wander a barren desert.
4. You make this world your God.
5. This is My Mission to help bring about the Reign of My Heart.
6. Look at My red rosary, think of the drops of red Blood I shed in the garden for you.
7. Blood coming from My pores.
8. Blood mixed with water.
9. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
10. I give you such dignity - you do not comprehend.
Scourging at the Pillar
Jesus:
1. I was whipped for your sins of hatred and disharmony, the stubborn ways you act that come from deep in your heart.
2. Look at My red rosary, think of My Precious Blood I shed for you.
3. My Heart is an endless furnace of love.
4. The men were full of hatred in their hearts, they whipped Me and I loved them so much.
5. I love the souls today that laugh at Me and make fun of Jesus, fun of My Name, that raise themselves indignantly over Me.
6. They whip Me today, the way they treat Me.
7. They tear My Flesh.
8. My Heart beats for My beloved ones.
9. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
10. Look at the picture of My Heart on Blue Book II - It is a furnace of endless love.
Crowning with Thorns
Jesus:
1. In this month of the Sacred Heart spend time reading My personal love letters to you in My Blue Books.
2. Hear Me whisper My gentle words of love.
3. See My red Blood pour down My cheeks from the thorns. Look at the red rosary, think how much I love you. Carry it with you. Look at My picture, think of My deep love. Let My Sacred Heart remind you of My burning love.
4. Look at My Mother's picture on the building. God loves you so much, He gave you this gift of Mary on the building. Are you grateful?
5. See My pierced head.
6. See the Blood on My cheek.
7. See the Consecrated Host in the Mass.
8. See My Blood poured out for you.
9. Gaze upon the Exposed Eucharist.
10. I am there, I remain with you in such love.
Carrying of the Cross
Jesus:
1. A heavy cross I carried on My back.
2. Why do you think you should not suffer?
3. My Blood was red, My Heart is a symbol of My great love.
4. My walk to Calvary was painful.
5. I paid the price for the sins of today.
6. Do you have to go with the world? Quit watching the filthy movies and the dirt on television.
7. It hurts My Heart to see you won't take a stand for Me.
8. Don't visit places where people are sinning. It hurts My Heart that you do that.
9. My Heart bleeds when you say yes when you mean no, and no when you mean yes. Don't confuse matters, that is from Satan. Tell the truth.
10. I called you to be an Apostle of My Sacred Heart. Will you serve Me?
Crucifixion
Jesus:
1. My dear soul, I love you to say to Me when receiving the Eucharist, "I scarce can breathe when You come into Me."
2. My dear soul, I do love you so, so much, see My red Blood shed for you.
3. My dear soul, see My bleeding hands and feet.
4. My dear soul, look at the crucifix.
5. My dear soul, the most important thing you do everyday is going to Mass and receiving Me.
6. My dear soul, tell others of the gift of Myself in the Eucharist.
7. My dear soul, do you like favors, ice cream, candy? My dear soul, I give you Myself, I am the Son of God.
8. My dear soul, during this month of the Sacred Heart, pray this rosary, look at My red rosary, think of My drops of Blood. Oh My soul, it is Blood I shed for you.
9. Unite to the Mass at every moment. Feel united as a body.
10. My dear soul, My Mass is a
gift I give to you. Love your priests, pray for them, the Church and
the world. Oh My dear soul, the more you do for Me the more you will
unite to Me. I am the Chief Shepherd of the Flock, I give My prayers
to you. I will give the greatest graces to anyone who says My
prayers and promotes My prayers. Churches that have prayer chapters,
even small, will experience the greatest grace. They will turn into
little cities of light, run by Me to give honor to Me and devotion
to My Eucharistic Heart. I will bless abundantly all churches which
have prayer chapters. In this month of June, the month of My Sacred
Heart, I implore you to spread My prayer chapters. This is My plan
to help enormously to renew the Church and the world.
I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Chief Shepherd of the Flock. My
Heart is on fire for love of you, I loved you to My death on the
cross. What did I think of on the cross? I thought of you. I knew
you by name, I gave Myself as a sacrifice for you. Oh I love you, I
am the Sacred Heart, I love you so much. My Heart is a burning
furnace of love.

Come any time to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for the priests, the Church and the world.
You can come for several days for special prayer.
China is a place of prayer, I want you to come and pray.
The feast of St. Anthony's is June 13.
There will be a special celebration for the apostles on this day.
There will be a church full of people praying between 12:00 and 5:00 Indiana
time.

Mary's Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996
Mary: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.
