R. God is love and in Him there is
no darkness
The human will is not an organ,
We do not see it and yet it can
be that which leads us to intimacy
with God or that by which we
can distance ourselves from God
rebel against God and cause
ourselves misery
God is the Creator we are
the creatures He created us
with a purpose, but He gives
us a will He wants us to
obey Him and choose to love
Him and to give ourselves
to His Plan, but He gives
us this will to choose to
love Him and do His will
or not Out of love He gives
this to us He wants our
will given in love to His
will
One who is under a Master is
to serve the Master
to help them
to do all they can to be
a helper so the Master
can do what they are
trying to do
So Saint Ignatius talked about
the 2 Camps
The one camp we are helping to
build the Kingdom of Christ,
our eternal King
The other camp we are serving
satan who has the
rule oppose the will of God
The fallen angel said
"I will not serve God"
Jesus: I give you a free will
I showed you how I served
My Father to My death
on the cross
The Father and I are one
I served, I gave, I loved
I did the Father's will
I came, the Son of God,
to show you how to
do the Father's will
to show you how to
be sons of God
The Master is God
You can serve God
You can serve satan
Satan wants to take you
to eternal damnation
He tempts you to rebel
with your free will against
the Father's will
You do not see the will
The person arm-wrestling with
those over them is like
a two year old
learning about obedience
to their parents
The Commandments are given
as rules to live by that
will bring you happiness
Children must learn to obey
their parents
Jobs are given and there is
structure
You are put in this world to
work together as one under
authority, which is under
the heavenly Father
I died on the cross
Obeying My Heavenly Father
Being over you
I was over those who
put Me to death
Willful men crucified,
the Son of God
Afraid of losing their power
over men
Power comes from God
You would have no power
if it wasn't given
from God
In Genesis you see Eve
disobeyed God
Eve wanted to be equal to God

23. FIRST PRINCIPLE AND FOUNDATION
Man is created to praise, reverence and serve God
our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.
Jesus:
You can rebel against God
who created you by
doing your will opposed to God
Here is the Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
