                R. From the first day Betty came to China
                    17 years ago, I could tell the power
                    of her praying before the Blessed Sacrament
                    most of the day.

                Betty was a beautiful example of being
                    a Handmaid of the Good Shepherd.

                Betty prayed in this Church in China
                    for 17 years before the
                    Blessed Sacrament –

                At the end of her life – that was
                pretty much her total commitment,
                prayer before the Exposed Eucharist.

                    Betty prayed for all the needs of
                the Movement and for the priests,
                the Church and the world.

                Nobody knew the sacrifices Betty
                made to stay here praying like
                she did.

                    She totally was married to Jesus!
                She gave her life to Jesus. She suffered
                like Jesus and identified her suffering
                to Jesus.

                    We offer regrets to Rosie who did so
                much for Betty and the entire Shepherds of
                Christ Community, Jerry, and Sheila that
                helped her so much to be able to
                pray. Without their help Betty could
                not have been able to do this.

                Betty was the Spouse of Jesus. She wore her
                ring, her veil, her habit and she loved Jesus.

                    We offer regrets to her family,
                to Rosie's children and grandchildren,
                to their brother Edmund and his family,
                to Betty's children and grandchildren.

                    Thank you God for Betty's
                life given in loving service of
                You. Nobody will ever know
                all the hours Betty prayed
                in the China Church in 17 years
                before the tabernacle and Exposed Eucharist.
                Betty was dedicated to praying for
                Fr. Carter's Priestly Newsletter,
                Fr. Joe's homilies,
                the Blue Books,
                the Prayer Chapters,
                the Rosary program,
                the members and relatives and
                especially all of us.

                We will miss Betty – she has
                been here most of the time
                China was ours.

                    Thank You God for this Movement
                to pray for the priests, the Church
                and the world before the Exposed
                Eucharist –

                    Thanks to the priests who come
                4 days a month and celebrate
                Mass for us to pray for this and
                to pray for the Spread of the Sacred Heart
                and Immaculate Heart in the world -

                Jesus thanks for the Church in
                    China –
                    from here our prayers reach
                    all over the world –
                    Sheila and all praying nightly
                        several hours with
                        Florida and members at 6:20 –

                Thanks for all that do the adoration
                    here –
                    loving Jesus –

                Thanks to Sophie Lee – handmaid
                    that served 17 years also and
                    died in February –

                Thanks to Margaret Clifford – handmaid
                    that died in 2003.

                Thanks to all of you and
                    Doris who does so much,
                    John W – the President
                    Regina, Sanja, Lisa, Annette,
                    and Eileen in Florida.

                Thanks to Fr. Joe for all his help
                    and homilies and

                Fr. Chris helping us at Prince of Peace,
                    St. Patrick's.

                Thanks to Fr. Mike for helping me
                    since before Fr. Carter's death, and
                    Fr. Frank.

                Thanks for Monsignor and Fr. Ken
                    in Florida, my cousin
                    Fr. Don McCarthy, Fr. Barth,
                    Fr. Cyprian, and all the
                    other priests who have helped us –

                    Monsignor Schaedel –

                Dear God we are blessed –
                    Thank You –

                Thank all of you for being
                    here today.
