Wisdom 1: 13-15- 2: 23-24

For God did not make Death,
he takes no pleasure in destroying the living.
To exist -- for this he created all things;
the creatures of the world have health in them,
in them is no fatal poison,
and Hades has no power over the world:
for uprightness is immortal.

For God created human beings to be immortal,
he made them as an image of his own nature;
Death came into the world only through the Devil’s envy,
as those who belong to him find to their cost.

 

2 Corinthians 8: 7, 9, 13-15

More, as you are rich in everything-faith, eloquence, understanding, concern for everything, and love for us too-then make sure that you excel in this work of generosity too.

You are well aware of the generosity which our Lord Jesus Christ had, that, although he was rich, he became poor for your sake, so that you should become rich through his poverty.

It is not that you ought to relieve other people's needs and leave yourselves in hardship; but there should be a fair balance-your surplus at present may fill their deficit, and another time their surplus may fill your deficit. So there may be a fair balance;as scripture says: No one who had collected more had too much, no one who collected less had too little.

 

Mark 5: 21-24, 35-43

When Jesus had crossed again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered round him and he stayed by the lake. Then the president of the synagogue came up, named Jairus, and seeing him, fell at his feet and begged him earnestly, saying, 'My little daughter is desperately sick. Do come and lay your hands on her that she may be saved and may live.' Jesus went with him and a large crowd followed him; they were pressing all round him.

While he was still speaking some people arrived from the house of the president of the synagogue to say, 'Your daughter is dead; why put the Master to any further trouble?'But Jesus overheard what they said and he said to the president of the synagogue, 'Do not be afraid; only have faith.'And he allowed no one to go with him except Peter and James and John the brother of James.So they came to the house of the president of the synagogue, and Jesus noticed all the commotion, with people weeping and wailing unrestrainedly.He went in and said to them, 'Why all this commotion and crying? The child is not dead, but asleep.'But they ridiculed him. So he turned them all out and, taking with him the child's father and mother and his own companions, he went into the place where the child lay. And taking the child by the hand he said to her, 'Talitha kum!' which means, 'Little girl, I tell you to get up.'The little girl got up at once and began to walk about, for she was twelve years old. At once they were overcome with astonishment,and he gave them strict orders not to let anyone know about it, and told them to give her something to eat.

                The Resurrection

And Mary speaks and she says:  Let go of all of the distractions in your life, and focus on your Heavenly Father, my children, that you will know how close He is to you and how much He loves you. For He created you in His image and likeness, and He wants you to be children of light and children of love. Do not give into the evil one, but recognize the sign of the times, that your Heavenly Father is calling you to obedience, to love, to peace, to unity, that you will be kind as God intends you.

    Pray to my Spouse, the Holy Spirit to fill you more and more, that you will be strengthened, that you will do the will of the Father in love, that you will live a virtuous life, that you will be as God intended from the beginning, His instruments in this world, spreading the gospel and loving in all you do, from the most mundane task to the most complicated. Do all that you do for the honor and glory of God.

    My children, I am Mary your Mother, and I am here with you this night, in this building praying with you, for the world, for the priests and for the Church. Listen to me, my children, for God is calling you to respond. He will outpour His richest grace, for your prayers here, for your presence in my building, for your love, for your letting go and letting God into your heart.

R. I'm on the Resurrection because every day I did a different mystery, so today I am being called to do the Resurrection. We did the Sorrowful yesterday, and the Light and the Joyful.

1. Mary: And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not comprehend the light. Oh my little children, there are many this day that are suffering so much in the world because of their willfulness. It is in obedience to your Heavenly Father, living by the commandments given by God, staying rooted in the Church and in the Word, going to the Eucharist, that you will know a strength — a strength beyond all measure. For God is outpouring to you tonight, His richest graces, that you will help Him in this mission, in your prayers, in your love — living as the children of the Father — obedient to His commands in all things.

2. Mary: And you can be consumed by fear — a fear of your own making — a fear from your own thoughts, a reality that is not true. Or you can focus on the truth, on the Word, on the commandments, on the messages from My Son, Jesus in the Blue Books that tells you how to love, how to be His special servants of His Sacred Heart.

3. R. In the meditations that I put on the internet today, and we did this afternoon — when we read the scriptures we see all of the apparitions that Jesus made after He rose from the dead. If we knew somebody that died and he rose from the dead — we would still be talking about it. Jesus rose from the dead and it is a great gift that He gave to us. He died and He rose that we could share in His life. Today we must focus on these Glorious Mysteries, that Jesus rose from the dead, that we could share in His life, that He gives to us the sacrament of baptism, in which He gives us a sharing in His life, in which our knowing and loving capacity is elevated, in which the Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in our graced baptized soul.

    He gives us the Eucharist to feed this life and He gives us confession, that we can be clean in serving Him. He has given to us these sacraments of the Church, that His grace would flow into our hearts, that we would be saturated more and more with His life. Dear God, with the greatest gratitude, we thank You for these gifts and the gift of the Mass, the gift of the priest, the gift of the Church. We are not afraid, but empowered, because we know Jesus, that You remain with us this day in Your Divinity and humanity, truly present in the Eucharist — no less present than when you walked the earth. Lord God, thank You, thank You, over and over again, thank You.

Sing: Gifts for Our Lord we bring to you now

R. No wonder He had us sing that song. The gift that He wants — the gift He wants - Our Lord — is our loving surrender, to surrender our lives, in love as we do the task He has called us to, to serve Him with the greatest love, doing the Father's will in all things, letting go of the frustration, praying to Him in those quiet moments and being as God intends us to be.

4. R. I am not afraid for I know more and more the truth of the message that He has given, that there will be the great era of peace, that Mary promised at Fatima, and this building that Mary's image appeared here all that time, is to tell us that we are a great part of this, that we are to do as Our Lord has commissioned Fr. Carter and me to do, in spreading the consecration, the devotion to the Two Hearts throughout the world and spreading the newsletter and beginning the prayer chapters, in keeping this building here, because God wants this building, that we come to pray to help make reparation for the sins of the world, and that we obey as He has asked us to, in spreading the messages of the Blue Books of His love. God help us, we pray. We want to do Your will. We want to serve You. We want to help souls get to heaven. And we want to be apostles of Your Sacred Heart. Help us God, help us, for it is only by Your Might that we can do the work You have called us to. But we are eager, ready and willing. Amen.

5. R. And He rose from the dead and He appeared to the apostles. He appeared to them and they saw Jesus after He had died in His glorified body. What a gift! We should still be talking about it today. Yes!

6. R. And so He calls us. We are commissioned in baptism to spread the Good News. We are commissioned to live more and more every day this resurrected life, that the world will see that Jesus lives in us and we are His instruments in the world.

Be not afraid He (Jesus) says for I am with you, now and forever. Come to Me, serve Me. Do as the Father wishes with much love, for I love you so — so, so much.

7. Jesus says I have called the Shepherds of Christ to help spread the light in the darkness, to spread that devotion to My Sacred Heart, to the bishops and the Archbishops, as you have done and to continue spreading the Priestly Newsletter and Books as directed— the message that I have given to them, to spread the devotion to the Sacred Heart and Mary's Immaculate Heart. Do not be afraid for I am with you this day and always.

R. And we say Amen to that. Amen.

8. R. This is my little miracle. I haven't been able to do the retreat for two days, because I had laryngitis, but I had a miraculous recovery to do this prayer service.

9. Sing: I will be you that is my promise, I will be with you forever more etc.

10. And Jesus says: And I will be with you forever more, My precious ones. I gave My life for you, tell them Rita, tell them, that I died for them and I would die for them this very day, that there is enough love to go around — not to be worried that you will be left out, but to pray with all your heart and come to Me with a heart of love, giving to others what is their due, being kind and generous and doing always the will of the Father, obeying His commandments, living by His Word, loving and being good.

   

The Ascension

1. R. Did you ever jump into a pool, but if it is heated it is not too bad to jump in there — but at first there is that adjustment. But you do not have to be in there long if it is heated and you say "Oh it feels so good to go into the water and to just be there." God is opening up to all of us this night, His Sacred Heart, and at first it may feel strange to let go as He really wants us to, to really trust in Him, to really say to God, as Pope John Paul II says, "If God wants it, give Him what He wants." So what may be like getting into that pool of water where at first there's that little adjustment, but once you are in there, it feels so good. It feels so good to be one with God, to go into the Heart of Jesus, to no longer be combatal. That will bring us happiness choosing God's will. But to accept the will of God and want to live by the will of God. But because we want control -- many times we choose our will opposed to God's will and that brings us great unhappiness.

    For the devil is tempting us to hold on, when we should have let go to God who has the Might and the Power. Today we pray to the Holy Spirit, to fill us with the grace that we need, to know when to hold on and when to let go, to let the Holy Spirit fill us, that we may be able to discern what God's will is for us and to live it. God wants us to serve Him in our vocation this day.

    In the Shepherds of Christ, the vocations may be as simple as an associate, to a handmaid and a servant. But whatever it is, to give God what He wants, if it is an Apostle of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, spending two hours a week before the Blessed Sacrament, praying for the pope and the cardinals and the bishops, and the world and the Church. God will bless us abundantly. This is the message that Fr. Carter received, for God is never outdone in generosity. It is in our limited vision and through the temptation of satan, that we have the fear that there will not be enough.

    Even little children, they want to hold on and they must learn. I have seen them. If one has a toy the other wants that toy, and one child can be very, very aggressive and mean, to have that toy and they fight to get it. It is a toy of little or no consequence, but it is the fact of trying to win over another for the sake of winning — the defect because of original sin and our weakness to seek dominance because of dominance for dominance sake.

    God is calling us for our own happiness and joy, to let go to God's will, to pray those prayers and to think about them as we do, giving that devotion to the Blessed Mother, to her Motherhood and her Virginity and her Queenship in the Litany, and the love of the Heart of Jesus, pondering the Promises of Margaret Mary and praying with all of our hearts for the priests, and the Church and the world, and consecrating our hearts to God. Praying the prayers in the Prayer Manual especially the one to the Holy Spirit, helping us to be more holy and happy as He strengthens our wills.

    Those prayers were given to us by Jesus to Fr. Carter. We have been able to have them translated in 7 languages with the Imprimatur with little or no effort. God wants those prayers circulated around the world, and He wants us all in this network of prayer, praying these prayers for our beloved hierarchy and for the priests, for the renewal of the Church and the world, and the blessings that He gives to us is greater unity in our own lives, in our families, helping to bring the order, that may be disorder now, because of the sin of Adam and Eve and our weaknesses. Do you want to be happy? God wants us happy. Let's surrender our lives and our wills to Him.

Sing: Take Lord Receive

R. Let go and feel the peace of knowing that God is with us, but we must try to live more and more this virtuous life, to be greater one in Him, that He is always operating in us, in all that we do.

2. R. And He took them out to a place near Bethany and He raised His arms and He ascended into heaven. Man-o-man! Wouldn't you think they'd still be talking about that too? Did you ever see anybody ascend upward in the sky without an airplane, a parachute, whatever? Just went right on up there — yes, Jesus. And a cloud took Him out of sight. Wow! I want to be on His side. How about you?

3. R. And they hid themselves in the upper room waiting for the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit wants to strengthen us today, that we will answer this call of Jesus to be in this army of His Sacred Heart, to be Apostles and Servants and Handmaids and Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart and Associates in the Shepherds of Christ, praying the prayers out there, praying them by ourselves, or praying them with our husband or wife and our children, or going to the church and starting a small prayer chapter, asking the priest if we can pray for him in the parish by praying these prayers and honoring the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart and say, "oh Father, for 15 years there has been such blessings brought down on the people who pray these prayers." It is what Our Lady asked for at Fatima, spreading the devotion to the Two Hearts of greatest love.

4. Jesus: Are you afraid?

R. What are you telling yourself about your fear? Oh I think I am afraid, yes, oh yes, I am afraid — yes, ah-huh, yes. Oh I think I will be crippled by my fear, oh yes, yes." If that is the topic of conversation that we have in our own mind, for sure we will be afraid, but if we say to ourselves "I must fight this. God is with me and He loves me so much, and He wants me to go to church and to pray, and to really do my task that I do every day with great love, and to stop throughout the day and just think of Him and tell Him I love Him." We will be His instruments. For He will live more and more in us. And take the Blue Book that you were given, open it anywhere. Let Him speak to you and change your life. Ever since I started circulating the Blue Books, which was like 16 years ago, they have changed the lives of so many people. Today God is asking you to be renewed in a new way, that your life will be ever deeper, in the love of His Sacred Heart, His Sacred Eucharistic Heart.

5. R. And He just keeps saying that again, because the Apostles were afraid. They hid themselves in the upper room. But I keep hearing Him say this over and over again. And He is saying this to me and to you. When I first got the messages in 1991 and 1992, for six months all He did was talk to me about fear. And I thought, "oh no, another message on fear" and it was. It gave me the strength to be able to do what I am doing all these years later, 18 years later — to do it and to not even think of it, because you know how important it is, to the souls that we spread the message of God's love. We must fill our minds with the love that God has for us, that we will be strengthened and not afraid.

Sing: Be Not Afraid

6. R. I love the mystery of Christ. Every mystery that I meditate on I love more then I can just even say. But I love each one. And that is what Our Lady wants, for us to love to meditate on these mysteries, that we will know more and more about Jesus and Mary, the New Adam and the New Eve, and that we won't give into these weaknesses because of our wounded human nature, but that we will be empowered in our God who loves us so.

7. Sing: I go before you always, come and follow me.

8. R. And Jesus says, that's what I keep hearing.

Jesus: Do not be afraid and come and follow Me. Walk in My footsteps.

R. Who would walk and leave bloody footprints, because He suffered so for us? Now today God is saying —

Jesus: I want you to focus on what you saw here, that you think about Me, bloodied, bruised — My body beaten for love of you, for I love you so much. Don't be afraid. Let go as you have never let go before, surrender, unite to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass — unite — Praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit with all the angels and saints for the world. Oh God we ask You to spread Your blood on this world, that we will be protected from the evil one, and that there will be this era of peace through out the world, that we will be able to do all that You have asked us to do God. Help us please.

9. Sing: And come and follow Me — He (Jesus) says — and come and follow Me.

R. That's what He says. When we wake up in the middle of the night, think about what He said — Jesus sings: And come and follow Me

The Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the Virgin Mary

R. And He promised to send the Holy Spirit to them, and they were transformed from fear to fearlessness. And they went out into the world and all those people were converted. God is a God of miracles, but we must believe. Jesus appeared and Thomas says "Unless I put my hands into Your wounds, I am not going to believe." Do we say that to Jesus? You gave us this building. You gave us this Movement. You kept us in this building. You gave us the church in China. You gave us the exposed Eucharist. You gave us each other. You gave us this great knowledge of the scripture, this love for the Eucharist, this desire to pray the rosary and to pray, to sing to You — all the things that You gave to us and we say — "Oh God another sign" — while we sit back — I guess we don't have Mint Juleps — we don't in the Shepherds of Christ, but we could have some kind of refreshing drink and say — "Oh God, we are waiting for You" and He says

Jesus: Hey, you are suppose to be My servants down there. You are suppose to be the ones that are so filled with such love for Me, that you go out, rejoicing to do the work I have called you to do, and that you spread the good news.

R. And you say — "Oh well I thought I would take today off" and then tomorrow comes and then you say, "Oh well, I thought I would take today off" and then the next day comes and He says —

Jesus: Well, you could have done this, this and this, but you just decided to take two days off.

R. And you say, "Oh yes, I have time" and He says

Jesus: You are down there to be doing My work.

R. And you say "Oh-h" and He says —

Jesus: Come out of it child. Be one in My Heart. Be exuberant in the message that you deliver to the world. Let your hearts swell with My love, for there are so many souls this day, that are going to hell like rain, that the babies are being murdered. And I call you to prayer and you say

R. "Oh I had to watch the television for 13 1/2 hours yesterday. I didn't have time to say anything to You God" and He says

Jesus: You just didn't want to. I am asking you to listen to Me. Are you going to live as the Father intends you to live and be an apostle of My Sacred Heart?

1. R. In unity He calls us, to live in unity. And yet there we are, there's one end of the pole and the other -- the rebellious end and the holy end. The holy end says we crawl in the Heart of Jesus and we live in Him. The rebellious end says — we give in to Adam, who we are descendents of and we follow him. If we follow Adam's example, we will know the discord, the disunity, the rebelliousness, the concupiscence of the flesh — because we have a wounded human nature, seeking dominance for dominance sake, the old story that I am right and you are wrong — that goes on as we isolate more and more, in misery — because we have cut off our union with Jesus, which does not make us happy.

    In hell there is complete misery, because they do not have union with God. But on the other end, is what we receive when we pray as we do in that Holy Spirit Prayer. We are holy. We are unified. You are living according to God's order, not disorder. We are not isolated, but united. We recognize how important we all are to God, and we love our brothers because we are all created by Him, and we need each other. Yes — which pair of Hearts would you like to dwell in? The Hearts of the New Adam and the New Eve, Jesus and Mary or the hearts of Adam and Eve, the ones that disobeyed God because of their pride?

2. R. And Jesus says again — Jesus sings: Come and follow Me

3. Jesus sings: Come and follow Me

4. R. Come Holy Spirit, fill us!   Sing: Veni Sancte Spiritus

5. Sing: Come Holy Ghost

6. R. Bend the stubborn heart and will, Melt the frozen warm the chill

Sing: Come Holy Spirit

7. Sing: Spirit of the living God fall afresh on me etc.

8. R. He just keeps saying — Jesus: Come and follow Me.

9. He (Jesus) says Come and follow Me and don't be afraid.

10. There is enough to go around He (Jesus) says.

     

 

The Assumption

1. Sing: Immaculate Mary

2. Sing: Hail Holy Queen

3. R. Hail Holy Queen enthroned above. And there appeared in the sky a woman clothed as the sun and the moon was under her feet, and there were 12 stars about her head.

4. R. And we pray for all the funds that we need for these mailings, especially that God has called us to, and the insurance and all the bills that we have that are just really hard all the time, and the building — just the insurance on this building every month is $2,500 plus the building payment, then there is the eclectic. But our Lord said that He wants us having this building and if we let go of it, I believe that world would shake, just like when her head was knocked off, all those hurricanes ravaged Florida.

5. R. He wanted these days of reparation and He will bless us abundantly for our prayers. In our own personal lives, He has blessed the people in the Shepherds of Christ over and over again. They don't have trouble like other people have, just because He gives us such tremendous graces in our families and the things we are connected to. Really, really, really we will get blessed if we pray these prayers for the priests, the Church and the world in the prayer manual.

R. And once again Jesus says — Jesus: Be not afraid and follow Me.

  

R. In this last mystery I ask Kathleen to say the Our Father and then the ten Hail Marys and then you can stop.

Jesus: I have called you here this night, and I am asking you to help in this mission, to spread the Blue Books, to help with the Priestly Newsletter in all ways that you can, to pray the prayers, to do the work that I have called you to. I am with you in this building and I love you. The apostles of My Sacred Heart, help bring peace to this world. I am Jesus, the Son of God. Be Not Afraid — follow in My footsteps. Amen.

R. Our Lord says if anybody wants to come into this apparition room, they can come in here. I'm just going to sit in here quiet for a while. I'll sign a Blue Book if I get into the store. I just feel a little weak right now. We really do need funds to stay in this building. It's not like anybody gave us this building. We really have big bills, but we have been here 11 years. But also sending out the 7,000,000 newsletters takes a lot, but it takes the people that believe and help us that are part of this. Like Fr. Pasquini said that's a vocation too, to help if you are able, because we do get it in the hands of the priests. Please continue to pray with us. I will be in China from the 10th to the 13th. If you have the internet, you can go into the Shepherds of Christ website and pray with us on the radio. We pray there every day. I'll replay what I did here tonight. You can tune in anytime, it's there 24 hours or pray with us. The Eucharist is exposed in China and just tune it in and pray with us. Doris if you can come and sit with me in here.                     A city on a hill will shine its
                lights to the world —

                    Let me cry for freedom

                    Freedom is found in living in God's
                        will
                    To not live in God's will is to be
                        enslaved —

                A doll maker made the dolls — he
                    made every doll by hand — uniquely

                Soon another man came next door —
                    set up a machine and began
                    producing dolls so fast on the
                    machine — they were all identical

                    Where the dolls of the first man were
                made uniquely - by hand - all different
                the second man made them all the same —

                    In recognizing the sameness in
                our human natures we see the wounded
                aspects with the same wounded tendencies
                (7 deadly sins they may be referred to)
                but we all have imperfections —

                    I see the beauty of the Creator —
                God almighty all perfect — the morning
                light — the sun reflecting on the water —
                a sea of glass — blue skies, golden light —
                I read the morning in this basking sight —
                I smell the air and its freshness —
                The mixture of roadside flowers and tall
                autumn trees — I am in awe of
                its magnificence — the color —

                    How much more precious are we
                to the Creator than the road side flowers —
                the noises of clanging man-made toys —
                against the precision of a birdie's sonnet —
                how do you describe perfection of the
                Creator and His beauty against the man-
                made-limited things we make —

                    Even the dry summer fields have a
                beauty — the trees of autumn about
                to expire for the long winters sleep.
                Autumn days — give way to icy beautiful
                wonderland trees — snow flakes of precision
                dainty far richer than the finest lace —

                    Oh morning call — let my eyes bask
                on your splendor — after my night of rest —
                I embrace your beauty — one more awesome
                time — I look to the day with the hope of
                tomorrow and tomorrow knowing you
                raise the shade of the new day like
                a mother hen and put out the lights
                for me at night —

                    Could I but grasp even a small
                amount of your wonder in the
                hanging clouds that never fall on us
                and snuff us out — or do the cows
                breath as sweet as the ones who
                breathed on Jesus that night, but I
                never stopped to take note of it.

                    One bottle of pop please — where
                does the milk of the coconut even
                have a place in my memory now —

                    Oh towns some low in a valley —
                some high on the hill, some lacing
                the shore of waters — houses where we live —
                cars we drive — do we get so caught up
                we have no time to see the big picture?

                Jesus:  I hope not for your sake you say
                to Me — for in the wonders of creation —
                I tell you about Myself —

                    I tell you that I am the Creator —

                    You cannot reach to have the Might
                of God and yet I gift you with breathe and
                talents — love and creativity.

                R. When I behold the waters of this
                glorious autumn day — I see not only
                the splendor of the waters, but the reflection
                of the colored trees — like a picture
                with the most precious glass made
                by God — reflecting autumn leaves
                and a hazy golden sky and beyond the
                mountain of trees — the golden sun —
                so bright in magnificence in beauty —
                looking like a golden sky and a
                light of a golden - white - ball I cannot
                even tell of its beauty —

                    All over the earth one day is put to
                bed — another rises — death/resurrection —
                the sun comes around the hill — little
                beams of light — some bearing what
                looks like specks of sunlit snow —
                The waters, the hills, the lake, the
                trees, the rivers, waves and golden
                lighted blinding sun of a new
                day —

                    How many days will you give me
                Lord — when the sun is so bright
                I can barely see and yet somehow
                I can in that day ignore the Creator —
                His might and His glory —

                    When I go I want the writing to stay and
                the others so my life was lived to explain
                the real meaning of life —

                    Life is not life, just mere
                existence without the author of
                life and His Plan for you and me —

                    No artist — no movie maker ever could
                make the sky and sun and hills and valleys as
                our Almighty God.

                    Red roofs of barns were close by
                the road and silos, a little white church
                with a steeple — the river lay off in
                the distance like a picture — so beautiful
                to behold, but light filtered through
                across it like a beauty undescribable

                God imparts to us His vision and His plan
                    for His creatures —

                    eyes to see - His animals, birds —
                    how beautifully they fly — how
                    passive the cows in the field —
                    and man walks stooped down
                    with a bag of anger — grunting
                    many times on the most glorious
                    day —

                Oh men why do you look into a tunnel
                    of darkness and death —
                    do you see the windy road goes
                    so beautifully if you do
                    not fight it

                Sun shines down — trees are brilliant
                    in color — skies so blue

                    Night passes with its drudgery
                for those who let it —
                    stars are seen if one looks —

                Do you remember the little saying
                    "Two men looked out
                    prison bars —
                    one saw mud —
                    the other stars"

                Do you remember the scripture
                    of the blind man in John
           

John 9: 1-40

As he went along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. His disciples asked him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should have been born blind?’ ‘Neither he nor his parents sinned,’ Jesus answered, ‘he was born blind so that the works of God might be revealed in him.

'As long as day lasts
we must carry out the work of the one
  who sent me;
the night will soon be here
   when no one can work.
As long as I am in the world
I am the light of the world.’

    Having said this, he spat on the ground, made a paste with the spittle, put this over the eyes of the blind man, and said to him, ‘Go and wash in the Pool of Siloam’ (the name means ‘one who has been sent’). So he went off and washed and came back able to see.

    His neighbours and the people who used to see him before (for he was a beggar) said, ‘Isn’t this the man who used to sit and beg?’ Some said, ‘Yes, it is the same one.' Others said, 'No, but he looks just like him.’ The man himself said, ‘Yes, I am the one.’ So they said to him, ‘Then how is it that your eyes were opened?' He answered, ‘The man called Jesus made a paste, daubed my eyes with it and said to me, "Go off and wash at Siloam"; so I went, and when I washed I gained my sight.’ They asked, ‘Where is he?’ He answered, ‘I don’t know.’

    They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. It had been a Sabbath day when Jesus made the paste and opened the man’s eyes, so when the Pharisees asked him how he had gained his sight, he said, ‘He put a paste on my eyes, and I washed, and I can see. Then some of the Pharisees said, ‘That man cannot be from God: he does not keep the Sabbath.’ Others said, ‘How can a sinner produce signs like this? And there was division among them. So they spoke to the blind man again, 'What have you to say about him yourself, now that he has opened your eyes?’ The man answered, ‘He is a prophet.’

    However, the Jews would not believe that the man had been blind without first sending for the parents of the man who had gained his sight and asking them, ‘Is this man really the son of yours who you say was born blind? If so, how is it that he is now able to see?’ His parents answered, ‘We know he is our son and we know he was born blind, but how he can see, we don’t know, nor who opened his eyes.

Ask him. He is old enough: let him speak for himself.’ His parents spoke like this out of fear of the Jews, who had already agreed to ban from the synagogue anyone who should acknowledge Jesus as the Christ. This was why his parents said, ‘He is old enough; ask him.'

So the Jews sent for the man again and said to him, ‘Give glory to God! We are satisfied that this man is a sinner.’ The man answered, ‘Whether he is a sinner I don’t know; all I know is that I was blind and now I can see.’ They said to him, ‘What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?’ He replied, ‘I have told you once and you wouldn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it all again? Do you want to become his disciples yourselves?’ At this they hurled abuse at him, ‘It is you who are his disciple, we are disciples of Moses; we know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.’ The man replied, ‘That is just what is so amazing! You don’t know where he comes from and he has opened my eyes! We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but God dos listen to people who are devout and do his will. Ever since the world began it is unheard of for anyone to open the eyes of someone born blind; if this man were not from God, he wouldn’t have been able to do anything.’ They retorted, ‘Are you trying to teach us, and you a sinner through and through ever since you were born!' And they ejected him.

    Jesus heard they had ejected him, and when he found him he said to him, ‘Do you believe in the Son of man?’ ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘tell me who he is so that I may believe in him.’ Jesus said, ‘You have seen him; he is speaking to you.’ The man said, ‘Lord, I believe,’ and worshipped him.
                    Jesus said:

It is for judgement
that I have come into this world,
so that those without sight may see
and those with sight may become blind.

    Hearing this, some Pharisees who were present said to him, ‘So we are blind, are we?’ Jesus replied:

If you were blind,
you would not be guilty,
but since you say, ‘We can see,’
your guilt remains.

                Chapter —

 

John 10: 1-19

‘In all truth I tell you, anyone who does not enter the sheepfold through the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a bandit. He who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the flock; the gate-keeper lets him in, the sheep hear his voice, one by one he calls his own sheep and leads them out. When he has brought out all those that are his, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow because they know his voice. They will never follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not recognise the voice of strangers.’
Jesus told them this parable but they failed to understand what he was saying to them.
        So Jesus spoke to them again:

In all truth I tell you,
I am the gate of the sheepfold.
All who have come before me
are thieves and bandits,
but the sheep took no notice of them.
I am the gate.
Anyone who enters through me
   will be safe"
such a one will go in and out
and will find pasture.
The thief comes
only to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
so that they may have life
and have it to the full.
I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
   for his sheep.
The hired man,
   since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
   and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
   and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
  because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.
And there are other sheep I have
that are not of this fold,
and I must lead these too.
They too will listen to my voice,
and there will be only one flock,
one shepherd.
The Father loves me,
because I lay down my life
in order to take it up again.
No one takes it from me;
I lay it down of my own free will,
and as I have power to lay it down,
so I have power to take it up again;
and this is the command
   I have received from my Father.

These words caused a fresh division among the Jews.

  

                The Good Shepherd is God —

                Jesus - made man —

                Jesus laid down His life for His flock —

  

Ezekiel 34: 11-16

    “For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shall take care of my flock and look after it. As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shall I look after my sheep. I shall rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness. I shall bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shall gather them back from the countries and bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the inhabited parts of the country. I shall feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground. There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel. I myself shall pasture my sheep, I myself shall give them rest–declares the Lord Yahweh. I shall look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. I shall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them."

You Are the Light in the Darkness

September 18, 1993

Jesus: Little child, come and be filled. It is here, with Me, that you are nourished and set free. Your love is made whole here. I give you joy in your soul. I sanctify you and you are made holy by Me. Yes, child, you are holy-I make you so. Respect yourself and the gift you are to this world. I shine from your eyes and I smile with your lips. I hug My hugs with your arms. Do you not know how I need you, so holy and pure?

Don't let Satan plant his little ugly words in your heart. He tries to bring you down. Shut him up, little one. Listen to Me proclaim your dignity and honor. See yourself beautiful, loving, smiling, being, spontaneous. Satan has no power over you. My light shines from your temple to your toes.

Do not let others affect your moods at all. No one can alter the way you are filled with My light. Your light shines in the darkness if you do not let them affect you. You must stay very fixed to Me to do this. Look at them and pray for them. Pray for all you talk to. They need your prayers.They need My grace to wake them to My love. You are My preacher of love. My love is ever abounding. It is not for a few, or some. It extends to all My children. I love every little one. I want to reach all. I want to give each My unbounded love, as they reject Me Whom they do not see. You know what they do to you they do more to Me. Pray for My little ones your life touches. This is the most important thing you can do.

Your power radiates from within or it is squelched by the devil and does not radiate at all. I create an energy in you. Stay focused in Me.You are not affected by those around you. When I died on the cross, nothing they said or did affected the way I was. My light was fixed. It shone on them who nailed Me to the cross. It shone in the darkness and many were saved who watched Me. Let your light shine for all the world to see. It is I Who am your generator. Like the houses in Medjugorje, only the houses with generators lit up the night. Others were pitch black. When the generator kicked in, the lights shone so bright in the darkness. You shine more when you are surrounded by darkness if you stay fixed in Me. I shone brightly at My death. In such brutality My light shone as the brightest light. In the night you must shine. Many are living in darkness. You do not go there.

No one need to affect your behavior. You are rooted in Me. I generate a power in you. I am God and My power is very powerful. You must ward off Satan's weak pull. Others want to draw you into their darkness. Do not go there. Shine as the brightest star, shine in the night, shine as a beacon light. You saw darkness in Medjugorje. You know this concept. When it is dark, a light shines so bright.

Many of your brothers are in darkness. You must stay fixed in Me that your light shine bright as the light on the dark night. I give you this message, My lights of the world. Many lights light up the darkness and it shows in the dark night as if there is no darkness at all. Be the light to the darkness. Shine bright with a generator that is supplied by Me. Do not let your brothers pull you in. You remain in Me and you will never thirst. You will run and not get weary. You will fly on eagles' wings and your days will be joyous in the troubled world. Alleluia. I am your power.

Don't Question God

December 31, 1993 - Early Morning

Jesus speaks: I am the way, the truth and the life. He who abides in Me will have the light of life. I am Jesus, Son of God. I am the most important thing you do every day. If you are tired, then you are focusing on the wrong things. Be ready, for your Savior awaits you and you are His messenger.

I am Jesus, Savior of the World. I am ready for you. Listen and write My words. I am the light that shines in this dark world. I come to you in the night and you know it is Me. I come in such silence and no one knows that I am surrounded by angels. No one knows so many things that you do not see. Faith is the answer for My brothers. Faith is the answer for you, for when you do not see you still believe. When there is no proof, you are still absolutely sure that I am here. This faith does not go unrewarded. Where there are no proofs, you believe in Me. Blessed are they who have not seen and yet believe.

What I reveal to you here, I do in your heart. My connectedness to you is in your heart. I do not need the senses. Man wants God to be like them. Do not ask to have God explained in human terms. This, My child, is surely in the realm of the spirit. Things of God are not like the things of man. I communicate to you as I am. Others want you to explain to them just how it is.

Your human minds do not fathom the ways of God. To ask My messenger to answer your human questions is to ask her to tell you why stars shine, why a baby is conceived in the mother. In the end there is an element of mystery which is beyond words. Don't ask her to tell you why and how she writes these letters. She writes these letters by the power I have. She writes these letters for Me. She writes these letters because I am dictating them to her for you. She sits, half asleep, and writes such clear lessons in faith. And, you My brothers, ask for explanations? I am Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God. I am He Whose boot strap you are unworthy to tie, yet I make Myself so personal to you in Holy Communion. But, little ones, I am God. You cannot comprehend one little speck of My ways. Your human mind is so limited. Do not try to make sense of Me in human terms. I write these letters to bridge a gap between you and Me.

I am this personal to you, but My ways are not your ways and, though I try to make you understand some of the mystery, you cannot in your humanness explain the ways of God. Go ahead and try, child. It is a waste of your time. Do not ask My messengers for explanations that you will understand. You will not ever on this earth understand any of what is happening here. My ways are the ways of God. What is happening here is a miracle.

You ask too many questions and you, in your humanness, expect too many answers. I am the God of your Fathers. They never knew such a God. I was the same God to them and I spoke to similar people to open up Myself to them, but you have been given a great, great gift indeed in these letters. Do you question and question or do you study and become wise. Study My words and accept all I give you with faith.

Be blessed for the faith you show. Your faith will save you in this sick world. I am here, all right. I am in the Eucharist, Body and Soul. Would you like for Me to explain the real presence. How can I, in your earthly form, explain such things to you? Wake up. I give you a gift and you spend your time asking how, why, where, when. I give you this day a gift of My love for you. You will not understand the ways of God but, from these letters, I will become as real as the nose on your face. You can busy yourself asking questions and miss the miracle of My coming to you in these letters.

I come to you, you who are hungry and thirsty and you are waiting for more. To those who listened, much was imparted to them. To those who remained blind, nothing was gained. They try to explain God in human terms. I cannot be explained to your liking, My child. To do so is just silly.

I am God. I am Who Am. I am the Son of God. I am Human, but I am also Divine. You will not understand My divinity. You are a human. Be glad for what you are given. Pray for faith. So many souls will be lost for their stubbornness to have every situation explained. I will not ever be explained to you. If you do not go out on a limb, you will miss the sunset. The glories that you need to seek are to be seen at the end of the limb.

You do not know why, in your heaviness, the limb does not break. You will not understand, in your humanness, My ways. I impart to you many gifts. Do not try to explain My ways in your human ways. It is a futile task. It is impossible. It is not human. It is divine. Accept this miracle on faith and reap such a reward! God-made-man talks to you, not to the messenger. Talks to you! Do you want an explanation? You will not understand My divinity in your humanness, so quit trying and get about the job of listening to My words with your heart.

I will work in your hearts in your quiet time with Me. You do not do this work, either. The more you look for explanations with Me, the more you miss Me. My ways are a mystery. I impart such little glimpses of Myself to you. They are in your hands, to burst forth later. Now you busy yourself with the work at hand. Come in silence and make yourself selfless. I will be the giver of many gifts. If you decide what gifts I will give you, you have missed the boat entirely. I give to you as you need.

You are My babies. Babies do not tell their mothers of their needs. They wait and they are fed. They wait and they are changed. They wait and they are loved. Wait on the Lord. What you get is coming from Him Who loves you. I know all things. I know your needs. I am like the loving mother. I am God. I know your every need. Come and soak in the sunlight. Quit your questioning. Quit your asking for such things that you may never need. Turn yourself over like little babies, freshly born. They have soft little cries and are very dependent on their mothers. Come with your little cries but know that I, in the end, will give you all you need.

Don't try to control Me. I am God. Who are you to come and think you will tell God what you need. I see the whole picture and I comprehend it as God. You see as in a tunnel and think you know so much. Come and make yourself putty in My hands. Remain formless and unattached. Remain a baby. Take all I give and do not ask questions. It is in your submissiveness to Me that you grow in Me. I dwell in you and I can operate from you. In your willfulness, I cannot come in. How can God act in a soul who is in control. If you are operating, I cannot.

Oh, you have much to learn, but it is revealed in these letters how to become creatures of God. Most of your work is in submission to Me. Your biggest job is to die to yourself and live in Me. I am all powerful and I want to dwell in your breast. I want to possess your soul. I want to impart to you My love. I want to fill you to the brim with the things of God. All that is in the way of My working in you is yourself. If you hold onto self, you get yourself. To be of Me, you must let go of yourself. Come to My altar and sit silently before Me. Let Me work in your soul. Look for Me.

I give to you according to your needs. I answer you according to the things of God. I give you gifts that you never knew possible, because your mind cannot imagine the things of God. Do not limit your soul by being in charge. The soul is in the image of God and God must deal with it. To try to feed your soul humanness is useless. Only God can feed the soul. Come to Him and let Him have full reign in your hearts. Don't try to decide what you need. You don't know of the needs of a soul. God is so good and so loving and He wants to give you what you need. Surrender to Him and be open to all He wants to do in you.

Prayer for Union with Jesus

    Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

    I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

    I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

    When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

                    to communion

                Would I show Jesus how
                    we love to sing in His
                    church in China before
                    the exposed Eucharist

                China is the Eucharistic Center

A Prayer of Thanksgiving

O God, on behalf of Shepherds of Christ Ministries and Our Lady of Light Ministry, we offer up these prayers of thanksgiving:

Thank You Father for Your love, patience, and understanding. We know we are not worthy of such gifts, but that You give them anyway - because of Your great love for souls.

Thank You Jesus for the many gifts and graces You give us as members of Your Movement - Shepherds of Christ. We offer You our love and gratitude through Your Mother's Immaculate Heart.

Thank You Holy Spirit for Your special gifts. Please inspire us to be grateful for what we have been given. Please help us to give ourselves in love to You and all we meet.

Thank You Holy Trinity for Your boundless love and mercy. Please help us to nurture Your presence within us. Help us to be obedient to Your commands and give all the glory to You - Our loving God. We especially thank You for the gift of our Heavenly Mother, Mary.

Thank you Mary for your example while on earth, and for your constant intercession today. Please help us to grow in holiness and put into action all that your Son, Jesus, asks of us.

We thank St. Michael and the Holy Angels for their prayers, help, and protection. Finally, we thank the saints in heaven and the souls in purgatory for their prayers. We ask them to unite with us in giving thanks and praise to the most Holy Trinity - Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus, and our Comforter- the Holy Spirit.

Acts 12: 1-11

It was about this time that King Herod started persecuting certain members of the church. He had James the brother of John beheaded, and when he saw that this pleased the Jews he went on to arrest Peter as well. As it was during the days of Unleavened Bread that he had arrested him, he put him in prison, assigning four sections of four soldiers each to guard him, meaning to try him in public after the Passover. All the time Peter was under guard the church prayed to God for him unremittingly.

    On the night before Herod was to try him, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, fastened with two chains, while guards kept watch at the main entrance to the prison. Then suddenly an angel of the Lord stood there, and the cell was filled with light. He tapped Peter on the side and woke him. 'Get up!' he said, 'Hurry!'-and the chains fell from his hands. The angel then said, 'Put on your belt and sandals.' After he had done this, the angel next said, 'Wrap your cloak round you and follow me.' He followed him out, but had no idea that what the angel did was all happening in reality; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed through the first guard post and then the second and reached the iron gate leading to the city. This opened of its own accord; they went through it and had walked the whole length of one street when suddenly the angel left him. It was only then that Peter came to himself. And he said, 'Now I know it is all true. The Lord really did send his angel and save me from Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.'

 

2 Timothy 4: 6-8, 17-18

As for me, my life is already being poured away as a libation, and the time has come for me to depart. I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith; all there is to come for me now is the crown of uprightness which the Lord, the upright judge, will give to me on that Day; and not only to me but to all those who have longed for his appearing.

But the Lord stood by me and gave me power, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed for all the gentiles to hear; and so I was saved from the lion's mouth. The Lord will rescue me from all evil attempts on me, and bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi he put this question to his disciples, ‘Who do people say the Son of man is?’ And they said, ‘Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.’ ‘But you,’ he said, ‘who do you say I am?’ Then Simon Peter spoke up and said, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘Simon son of Jonah, you are a blessed man! Because it was no human agency that revealed this to you but my Father in heaven. So I now say to you: You are Peter and on this rock I will build my community. And the gates of the underworld can never overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.’
