of when Mary first appeared.

 

 

Excerpt from Rosaries from the Hearts of Jesus and Mary

July 5, 1994 6:30 p.m.

Messenger: I was told to go to Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center to pray the rosary with my children. There were people in the front of the church, so we decided to pray the rosary in the back before the Sorrowful Mother statue. I had the following vision at the end of the rosary.

The statue of the Sorrowful Mother was lit up as if she had fire around her. The light was very bright. Her whole gown was all-white, but the statue's gown is blue and pink. She was all aglow. It looked like the glow that comes off of a fire. Her face kept changing but remained totally sorrowful-the sorrow of an older woman. She was in such pain and sorrow! (It was hard to explain how she looked-extremely pained!) Her face looked as though she was in such pain that she could hardly bear it.

The vision remained like this for about ten minutes, having begun during the last Hail Mary of the Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary. She was holding something-it was all bright white-the brightest light ever!

                    It is the love I seek to know
                God's love and to love each other. We were
                created with a desire to love and be
                loved.

                    When one is wounded as a child, in
                relationships they may shut themselves off —
                be as the guy wrapped in burial cloths,
                as a mummy —

                    What happens then — they do not,
                sometimes, want to express feelings
                spontaneity is locked in — they can
                become a tomb from locked feelings,
                but if something triggers in them
                the loss of living in love — or pressure
                exists for work etc. — they may become
                enraged that they have been like
                a damsel locked in a high tower —

                    They themselves as a child may
                have escaped to a high tree to
                not be in the middle of dysfunctional
                parents, alcoholics, anger — a place
                to shut off so they were not affected
                by what went on around them — so
                they become desensitized to events
                around them to survive the dysfunction
                that went on, raging, fighting, passive
                ways that left the air so heavy with
                pressure. At least it was not a safe
                place, like others may have had where
                they were learning to love and trust —
                they learned to distrust, escape,
                and harden their heart.

                    As adults they may carry this "shell-
                shock" survival mode with them —
                they scan the atmosphere and may
                have habits that being with others
                is not a very safe place — they must
                go off to their safe place —

                    When in fact they are out of a
                dysfunctional home — they can, time
                and time again, set up the old homestead —

                    The problem is in them — the survival
                skills in them — the running off — away
                from healthy contact — in them —
                the skills learned for loving entering
                and existing in them — clumsy — not
                keeping connection —

                    Now Jesus' call to us to oneness
                before His bitter death — the desire
                that we be one

John 17: 21-23

May they all be one,
just as, Father, you are in me
   and I am in you,
so that they also may be in us,
so that the world may believe
it was you who sent me.
I have given them the glory
   you gave to me,
that they may be one as we are one.
With me in them and you in me,
may they be so perfected in unity
that the world will recognise
   that it was you who sent me
and that you have loved them
as you have loved me.

                    We were created to walk hand-in-
                hand in love helping each other —
                babies look at your eyes, they follow
                you — they want connection — they
                like that security —

                    No matter what survival modes
                learned we must realize that if
                we grew up in a dysfunctional
                home — we learned some astringent
                survival skills — maybe — that kept
                us scanning the atmosphere to see
                what was safe or not and when the
                atmosphere is safe today we may
                be preparing ourselves for the
                isolation, unloving ways we may
                have had to learn and set up old
                homesteads with people who aren't
                doing a thing for why we are trying to
                survive.

                    Keeping ourselves locked away for
                30 years — surviving in new relationships
                like we are in a war zone — can be
                like a damsel locked in a high
                tower by herself.

                    "I won't ever trust", she says —
                "I may get hurt, disappointed" —

                    So we can wound ourselves more —
                depriving the person created in the
                image and likeness of God — and God is
                love — depriving oneself of interacting
                love and when stress occurs a person can
                be like the damsel in the tower —

                    One key Jesus gave me is this —
                in the middle of the night He woke
                me to say —
                    "the key is love"

                    We were created in the image and
                likeness of God and God is love.
                So if we get so isolated because
                of fear and fail to trust and love others
                as we should — husbands, wives,
                intimate others — in religious orders
                our spiritual director, superior etc. —
                we can be as a locked box — a damsel
                in a locked tower by herself — depriving
                herself — life long of loving interacting
                with safe others —

                    One thing Jesus told me — if Mary
                walks into the room — pure and sinless
                and a person would use passive-
                aggressive measures on Mary, the
                sinless one, to project their rage from
                locking themselves up — their provoking
                ways from wounds past may not be
                as big of an issue as how they feel
                about their state of life now.

                    We have a vocation — Married people
                must be faithful to their spouse —
                Religious are married to Jesus in a
                special way — they must love this
                spousal relationship — like a husband
                and wife have a special relationship
                for each other.

                    God is the most perfect spouse.
                Today in this world so centered on
                "me" and not real love, trust
                etc. — we must have some others
                we trust that are close to us — if
                we don't trust the people over
                us in religious life it is very hard
                on us.

                    If we don't trust our spouse
                and we are married it is hard on us.

                    Strong religious communities will
                be formed on love and trust.

                    The body of Christ should be
                rooted in God's love. God is love.

                    We were not put here alone.
                We were put here to walk hand-in-
                hand and love our vocation.

                    Passive-aggressive actions toward
                others - provoking — comes from fear,
                bad habits, insecurity, evil ways
                inside that need to be healed.

                    Depriving oneself of relationships
                can be bad like depriving ourselves
                of eating —

                    God wants holy oneness — that means
                seeing God in each other and existing
                in Him as a unit —

                    not like a right and left shoe —
                right shoes don't work so good
                on the left foot.

                    Love amongst the brothers —
                love as God talks about in the
                scripture — love that forgives our
                brothers in God's family — not
                the sex etc. relationships for our own
                personal gain — love because it is God's
                will to get along and help each other.

                    We want order — we want things to
                be automatic. God gives us order —
                order in the planets, order in how
                each animal and bug is so unique,
                order in our thinking, order in our
                body — i.e. women can have babies a certain
                time in life — our eyes get old, our
                legs aren't as good as we get old —
                numerous examples —

                    But for me being too detailed can be
                a block to the spiritual life — "perfectionism"
                God lets us on this earth — not knowing when
                we will die, when the baby will come, when
                it will rain, who and if we will marry,
                etc., etc., etc. — the unknown —
                and with the unknown comes the journey
                of faith —

                    I believe even when I don't see
                    I know God even when I don't
                        touch Him
                    I trust some others even though I
                        am not in their head and inside
                        of their hearts —

                    Look at paper dolls —
                        how is one doll?
                        not very big — looks pretty lonely

                    Now see a whole chain connected hand-in-
                        hand — pretty sturdy

                    God gave us hearts to love — to stay
                        connected
                    Memories to remember good times —

                I have so many loving memories with
                    Jesus, I have built a relationship
                    with God—
                    I am existent in Him

                Today God wants us to spread the Good
                    News — to tell the truth

                Movies are teaching mighty lessons —

                People are made mysterious — some
                    so untrustworthy

                    Violence is at an all time high —
                making people insensitive to horrendous
                evil things.

                    We can't turn the other cheek when
                babies are being taught things at an
                early age through cartoons, movies, . . .
                aborting babies
                right is made to look wrong
                wrong is made to look right

                Confusion in movies with the
                    mysteries of Christ —
                    adding confusion, confusion to
                        minds

                Dark, ugly things in pictures are the
                    popular ones

                The dignity of the human body is
                    violated —

                The beautiful body created by God —
                    toes are dismembered
                    gross awful things that are not
                        pleasing to God
                    the day of Bambi losing his mother
                        is long gone
                    what about singers — wooing girls and
                        pretty sweet girls — so
                        beautiful in sweet, light, white
                        dresses

                    Women dressed like tough men

                There are major messages taught in
                    TV and computers that have made man
                    into creatures so hardened in heart. I
                    have a free will not to watch T.V. If I
                    do watch lots of TV shows I have
                    invited myself into the seductive
                    world of the devil. The devil
                    wants to use the media to rape
                    the minds — If I say "yes" to watching
                    the TV then I allow satan to
                    try to pull the wool over my eyes.
                    The TV is so focused on power-over
                    others for dominance sake — lust,
                    envy, greed, pride, focus on self —

                    Not like Mary who said

Luke 1: 46-55

                The Magnificat

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
    all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
    has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
