July 2nd Holy Spirit Novena Scripture selection is Day 2 Period I.

Pray for Bob, Mike, Fr. Joe and Ken & other intentions.
 

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Many times a person dying
learns about living.
Life can speed on by and
we may not really know
about living, but we think
we do.

Jesus is life. Life is in Him.
He came to teach us about
life in Him, about really
living.

Joyful Mysteries

Annunciation

1. Jesus is joy, He comes to
    bring us life.
2. Life is in Him.
3. In Baptism we receive a
    sharing in His life.
4. Jesus is our Redeemer,
    our Savior.
5. The Angel Gabriel
     appeared to Mary and
     asked her to be the Mother
     of God.
6. Mary said “yes”, Mary
    always did the Father’s will,
    she loved the Father’s will.
7.Jesus is the way, the truth
   and the life, life is in Him.
8.God created us in love,
   He has a Plan for us.
9. Will we say “yes”, we
    have a free will.
10. Mary is the “New Eve”
     she always said “yes”.

The Visitation

1. We constantly make
    choices.
2. We need to pray to the
    Holy Spirit for
    guidance( not just keep
    doing some bad old
    habits).
3. At Fatima, Mary told us
    we need to convert.
4. We need to die to the
    ways not like Jesus and
    rise in the ways like Jesus.
5. We are spiritual babies,
    Mary is our spiritual
    Mother.
6. We are children of our
    Heavenly Father, that
    created us in love.
7. Mary went to visit her
   cousin Elizabeth, who was
   with child.
8. Mary said, "My soul doth
    Magnify the Lord and my
    spirit rejoices in God my
    Savior."
9. It is many times when we
    know how to die, we know
    how we are to live.
10. Jesus taught us how to
      be- Love, Love, Love,
      obedience to God's will.

Birth of Jesus

 

Mary said, "yes".

Birth of Jesus

1.Death, Fr. Carter says, is a
   reality and it is not
   something we hide from
   ourselves but we look at
   according to the vision of
   God.
2.It reminds us of our
   purpose here on earth, and
   what is our purpose? Jesus
   spells it out for us in this
   Gospel.

   John 15:5
   “ I am the vine, you are the
     branches.”
    Fr. Carter says, Jesus says,
    “Your purpose in life is to
     grow ever, ever closer to
     Me so to bear more fruit for
     the Kingdom, and without Me
     you can do nothing.”
3.… If our Union with Jesus
   in love is what it should be,
   everything else falls into place.
4. So let us not waste the
   days of our existence.
   Fr. Carter says: ”let the idea
   of death be our good
   companion, let us not be
   afraid of it, but let the
   thoughts of it remind us
   each day not to waste the
    opportunities of each day
    but to use them to come
    closer to the Sacred Heart,
    to the Vine.
    Let us, the branches,
    become grafted to the Vine
    ever more closely, for love
    of Jesus, for love of all
    those for whom He died
    the brutal death on the
    cross.”
5. Jesus came in a stable in
   Bethlehem. Jesus came to
   teach us about life. Life is in
   Him.
6. God gave us birth, God
    knows when we will die.
    Don't be afraid of death. In
    the Hail Mary we pray ..."
    Now and at the hour of
    our death, Amen."
7. We pray this 53 times in
    the Rosary ( for death).
8. We were brought into the
    world in birth, we will die.
    God loves us and wants us
     with Him in heaven.
9.  Silent Night, Holy Night,
    God loves us so much,
    He came for love of us.
10.God has the Plan, why
     would we oppose His Plan,
     He is the Creator, we are
     the creatures.

     Come Emmanuel.

Every day is precious, if we
accept we can die at any
time, how would we live?
Jesus showed us the way.

Presentation in the Temple

1.Mary and Joseph took
   baby Jesus to the temple.
2.Simeon told Mary and
   Jesus of sufferings to
   come.
3.A sword too, will pierce
   your heart, Oh Mary.
4.When I see the pieta,
   Mary holding Jesus in her
   arms, what a testimony of
   obeying the Father's will.
5. We must love one
    another or we are not living,
   God is love and He is life.
6.Pride, anger, jealousy,
   envy, hardness of heart are
   deadly sins.
7. Why do we run from love.
8. God is love, that is light
    and life.
9. We can be so selfish,
    unforgiving, when we die
    do we want to be
     surrounded by love?
10. Mary and Jesus show
     us love.
 

 

How much poison do we
keep in our hearts, to prove
we are right, when we are wrong.
I'm sorry, when we are
 wrong frees us up.
Congested hearts, full of a
life of unforgiveness makes
our hearts hard.

Finding in the Temple

1. We don't want to lose
    the real treasure, Jesus in
    our hearts. Love is
    freedom..
2. Anger binds us up, clogs
    our hearts.( we must fogive).
3. Being lost is binding up
    our hearts with darkness
    and bitterness, being right,
    when we were wrong,
    anger, jealousy, envy,
    unforgiveness.
4. God gives us the Church,
    the 7 sacraments, Baptism,
    a sharing in His life!!
5. If you saw a beggar that
    was once rich, how sad
    that would be, what about
    men that give into mortal
    sin denying it and won't ask
    God for forgiveness.
6.It is terrible to hurt our
   soul with sins we deny.
7.The real treasure is God in
    us.
8. We can receive so much
    grace practicing our faith.
9. We cannot give into
    spiritual pride.
10. We cannot give into the plan
      Satan wants.
