A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Messenger: Include Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center in 6:20 prayers.

Do you know anyone that can help us?

One of the major expenses is printing.

Exodus 15: 1-6, 17-18

Song of victory

It was then that Moses and the Israelites sang this song in Yahweh’s honour:

I shall sing to Yahweh,
for he has covered himself in glory,
    horse and rider
he has thrown into the sea.
Yah is my strength and my song,
to him I owe my deliverance.
He is my God and I shall praise him,
my father’s God and I shall extol him.
Yahweh is a warrior;
Yahweh is his name.

Pharaoh’s chariots and army
he has hurled into the sea
the pick of his officers
have been drowned in the Sea of Reeds.
The ocean has closed over them;
they have sunk to the bottom like a stone.
Your right hand, Yahweh,
    wins glory by its strength,
your right hand, Yahweh,
    shatters your foes,

You will bring them in and plant them
on the mountain which is your heritage,
the place which you, Yahweh,
    have made your dwelling,
the sanctuary, Yahweh,
    prepared by your own hands.
        Yahweh will be king
            for ever and ever.

Isaiah 54: 5-14

For your Creator is your husband,
Yahweh Sabaoth is his name,
the Holy One of Israel is your redeemer,
he is called God of the whole world.
Yes, Yahweh has called you back
like a forsaken, grief–stricken wife,
like the repudiated wife of his youth,
says your God.
I did forsake you for a brief moment,
but in great compassion
    I shall take you back.
In a flood of anger, for a moment
I hid my face from you.
But in everlasting love
I have taken pity on you,
says Yahweh, your redeemer.
For me it will be as in the days of Noah
when I swore that Noah’s waters
should never flood the world again.
So now I swear never to be angry with you
and never to rebuke you again.
For the mountains may go away
and the hills may totter,
but my faithful love will never leave you,
my covenant of peace will never totter,
says Yahweh who takes pity on you.

The new Jerusalem

Unhappy creature, storm–tossed,
    unpitied,
look, I shall lay your stones on agates
and your foundations on sapphires.
I shall make your battlements rubies,
your gateways firestone
and your entire wall precious stones.
All your children
    will be taught by Yahweh
and great will be
    your children’s prosperity.
In saving justice you will be made firm,
free from oppression:
    you will have nothing to fear;
free from terror:
    it will not approach you.

Final invitation

Oh, come to the water
    all you who are thirsty;
though you have no money, come!
Buy and eat; come, buy wine and milk
without money, free!
Why spend money on what cannot nourish
and your wages on what fails to satisfy?
Listen carefully to me,
and you will have good things to eat
and rich food to enjoy.
Pay attention, come to me;
listen, and you will live.

I shall make an everlasting covenant
    with you
in fulfilment of the favours
    promised to David.
Look, I have made him a witness
    to peoples,
a leader and lawgiver to peoples.
Look, you will summon a nation
    unknown to you,
a nation unknown to you will hurry to you
for the sake of Yahweh your God,
because the Holy One of Israel
    has glorified you.

Seek out Yahweh
while he is still to be found,
call to him while he is still near.
Let the wicked abandon his way
and the evil one his thoughts.
Let him turn back to Yahweh
who will take pity on him,
to our God, for he is rich in forgiveness;
for my thoughts are not your thoughts
and your ways are not my ways,
declares Yahweh.
For the heavens are as high above earth
as my ways are above your ways,
my thoughts above your thoughts.
For, as the rain and the snow
    come down from the sky
and do not return
    before having watered the earth,
fertilising it and making it germinate
to provide seed for the sower
    and food to eat,
so it is with the word
    that goes from my mouth:
it will not return to me unfulfilled
or before having carried out
    my good pleasure
and having achieved
what it was sent to do.

Romans 6: 3-11

You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father’s glorious power, we too should begin living a new life. If we have been joined to him by dying a death like his, so we shall be by a resurrection like his; realising that our former self was crucified with him, so that the self which belonged to sin should be destroyed and we should be freed from the slavery of sin. Someone who has died, of course, no longer has to answer for sin.

But we believe that, if we died with Christ, then we shall live with him too. We know that Christ has been raised from the dead and will never die again. Death has no power over him any more. For by dying, he is dead to sin once and for all, and now the life that he lives is life with God. In the same way, you must see yourselves as being dead to sin but alive for God in Christ Jesus.

Jesus speaks:    I come, I am the Holy One of Israel to set the
captives free. I give you the gift of
baptism. You are elevated, raised up.
You share in My Divine Life.

Messenger:    He imparts to us the greatest gifts, those
that are to help us attain everlasting
                              life.

I found out some interesting news from
Father Carter's sister today, she said Father
Carter's dad and mom were named
                             Mary and Joseph.

I thought that was very interesting. His life
was lived in trying to write so the
love of Jesus would be more alive in
                          men's hearts.

I saw the sun pulsating on a video over the Holy Spirit Center
when I introduced God's Blue Book,
and the Prayer for Union with Jesus.
It was April 17, 1994. This video which
                            majorly talks about the Eucharist
                             is available to you.

Jesus wants to be alive in the hearts of men.

This is the beginning of a new Era where
the Sacred Heart will truly Reign
in the hearts of men as never before.

God's Blue Books are love letters from Jesus.
These love letters lead men to a deeper
love union with Jesus in the Eucharist.

The Power is in His Eucharistic Heart.

Acts 10: 34, 37-43

Peter’s address in the house of Cornelius

Then Peter addressed them, ‘I now really understand’, he said, ‘that God has no favourites,

You know what happened all over Judaea, how Jesus of Nazareth began in Galilee, after John had been preaching baptism. God had anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and because God was with him, Jesus went about doing good and curing all who had fallen into the power of the devil. Now we are witnesses to everything he did throughout the countryside of Judaea and in Jerusalem itself: and they killed him by hanging him on a tree, yet on the third day God raised him to life and allowed him to be seen, not by the whole people but only by certain witnesses that God had chosen beforehand. Now we are those witnesses—we have eaten and drunk with him after his resurrection from the dead— and he has ordered us to proclaim this to his people and to bear witness that God has appointed him to judge everyone, alive or dead. It is to him that all the prophets bear this witness: that all who believe in Jesus will have their sins forgiven through his name.’

Messenger:    I know great grace is released during
the Mass, I unite so deeply with
                             all the angels and saints.

See the priest on an altar elevated by
                                 steps and behind him, more
steps leading up to the tabernacle.

He raises the consecrated host and
Chalice so high for us to see.
Often I see the aura around the host.

"Increase and Multiply, bring forth great
                                    fruit."

I hear Our Lord say this, He wants fruit
                                 for the kingdom.

A tree will bear great fruit
when it is watered and cared for.

Today my heart burned after I received Him in the Eucharist.

I wanted this deep union with Him to last.
I cried because I was so happy, but torn
in my heart because, I knew He
soon would not be so deeply present to
me as He was when I received the Eucharist.

I see my sins and I know I have offended Jesus.
I see a slight glimpse, selfishness,
                              self-promotion, anger, I see how
these things offend the gentle Heart of
the Lord and how He paid for our
                                sins.
I see Jesus in others and how I hurt
Jesus when I do not treat them
                              with the love He desires.
He wants us to be loving to them.

We are so unloving to each other and so
blind we do not even see it.

We see them put Jesus on the cross.
                     We see them beat Him.

                      He gives Himself willingly.

They take Him to the slaughter.
He paid the price for our sins.
                       God spared Abraham's son.

Jesus suffered for us, so we would be
                                 saved.

                        God parted the Red Sea.

God gives us the gift of baptism.

God gives us Himself in the Eucharist.

How can we be so glum?

How can we be so filled with ingratitude?

Why are we so blind we do not even see?

See a little baby being baptized.

What a gift God gives us in baptism.

See the gift of the Mass.

Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

Excerpt from Response to God's Love, by Father Edward Carter, S.J.

                                 1

The Mystery of Christ and
            Christian Existence

...In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ. St. Paul tells us: "I became a minister of this Church through the commission God gave me to preach among you his word in its fullness, that mystery hidden from ages and generations past but now revealed to his holy ones. God has willed to make known to them the glory beyond price which this mystery brings to the Gentiles—the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory. This is the Christ we proclaim while we admonish all men and teach them in the full measure of wisdom, hoping to make every man complete in Christ" (Col 1:25-28).

1 Peter 1: 3-9

Introduction
The inheritance of Christians

Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into a heritage that can never be spoilt or soiled and never fade away. It is reserved in heaven for you who are being kept safe by God’s power through faith until the salvation which has been prepared is revealed at the final point of time.

Faithfulness to Christ and love of Christ

This is a great joy to you, even though for a short time yet you must bear all sorts of trials; so that the worth of your faith, more valuable than gold, which is perishable even if it has been tested by fire, may be proved—to your praise and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed. You have not seen him, yet you love him; and still without seeing him you believe in him and so are already filled with a joy so glorious that it cannot be described; and you are sure of the goal of your faith, that is, the salvation of your souls.

1 John 5: 1-6

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ
is a child of God,
and whoever loves the father
loves the son.
In this way we know
    that we love God’s children,
when we love God
    and keep his commandments.
This is what the love of God is:
keeping his commandments.
Nor are his commandments
    burdensome,
because every child of God
overcomes the world.
And this is the victory
    that has overcome the world—
our faith.

The source of faith

Who can overcome the world
but the one who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God?
He it is who came by water and blood,
Jesus Christ,
not with water alone
but with water and blood,
and it is the Spirit that bears witness,
for the Spirit is Truth.

Excerpt of The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J.

136. THE FOURTH DAY

        A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS

The one of Christ, our supreme leader and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our
human nature

PRAYER.   The usual preparatory prayer.

window at a former Jesuit Seminary

137. FIRST PRELUDE.   This is the history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard, and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.

138. SECOND PRELUDE.   This is a mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain, comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.

139. THIRD PRELUDE.   This is to ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander, and the grace to imitate Him.

FIRST PART

THE STANDARD OF SATAN

140. FIRST POINT.   Imagine you see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.

141. SECOND POINT.   Consider how he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state of life, no individual is overlooked.

142. THIRD POINT.   Consider the address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.

The first step, then, will be riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one leads to all other vices.

SECOND PART

THE STANDARD OF CHRIST

143.   In a similar way, we are to picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.

144. FIRST POINT.   Consider Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.

145. SECOND POINT.   Consider how the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc., and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among all men, no matter what their state or condition.

146. THIRD POINT.   . . .

Appearances to the disciples

In the evening of that same day, the first day of the week, the doors were closed in the room where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them. He said to them, ‘Peace be with you,’ and, after saying this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Lord, and he said to them again, ‘Peace be with you.

    ‘As the Father sent me,
    so am I sending you.’

After saying this he breathed on them and said:

    Receive the Holy Spirit.
    If you forgive anyone’s sins,
    they are forgiven;
    if you retain anyone’s sins,
    they are retained.

He paid the price for our sins.
He should be honored and adored and loved in
                             the Eucharist.

July 19, 2001 message continues

Messenger:    We should see Jesus in each other and love
each other as brothers and sisters.
We need to admit our faults. We need to ask God to
give us grace to see our unloving, selfish
                         ways.
Jesus ascended into heaven and He left His
apostles behind to carry on His work.
                     How do we serve Him?
What are we doing for Christ?
                      Are we CHRISTIANS?
How do we treat each other?
Are we examples of how He wants us to be?
Do people see Christ in us?
Do we say we are holy, but are unloving, pushing
                                 to get ahead?

Messenger: Jesus asks us to pray for special things.

A Note from the President of Shepherds of Christ:

If you are devoted to Our Lady's rosary, we need your help! A member of our ministry is very devoted to Our Blessed Mother and he is helping to teach us how to grow our volunteer rosary makers. He estimates that we will need approximately $37,000 this year for beads alone! This translates into 22,339,500 rosary beads (yes, 22 million beads) assembled by volunteers into 378 thousand rosaries. The biggest users of our rosaries are the Catholic schools, who requested more than 100,000 rosaries last year.

Can you help us? I appeal to you for funds, whether large or small. We give because we love God, we love our Blessed Mother, and we love souls. We will accept gifts in many forms, besides cash or check donations, we can receive gifts directly in the form of stocks or property. These gifts can offer large tax advantages to the donor and increase the monetary value of the gift to us. Also if you can help assemble rosaries we need your help! If you can help us in anyway, please call or write us. God Bless!

I love you,
John Weickert

A rosary can be used to pray for healing. It is powerful to unite our prayers to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and pray through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater.

In times of trouble, for special prayer, we can use our rosary and pray as follows.

A Rosary for Healing or for Someone with Cancer.

On one Hail Mary bead or as many as you desire, say:

May God heal                     through the intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater in union with the Mass and all the Masses being celebrated around the world.

Pray the Hail Mary or Hail Mary's then pray this after the Hail Mary.

May the cancer be uprooted and thrown into the sea.

We believe with all our hearts.

After the Glory Be — pray the following petition.

May                     be healed through the intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater if it be the holy will of God.

Note: You can look at Mary on the image rosary while you pray this rosary.

Note: The above section can be printed out from a PDF file, and you can pray the rosary looking at the pictures.

December 17, 2000, Mary speaks:

Help me to circulate my red and blue
    Rosary Books and the
prayers my Son gives to you.

This is a gift we give you.
All the revelations are gifts given to you.
My Son is the Light of the World.
He is Jesus born in a stable.
Will you help me?
He is the Light of the World. Help me, help me
reach my children of the world.
