July 20th Holy Spirit Novena
Scripture selection is Day 3 Period I.The Novena Rosary Mysteries
for July 20th are Sorrowful.
Messenger: The high-chair - to a
child can help them eat better
It is okay.
To an adult they look
silly in the high chair,
but some want it...
A baby cries "I want it" "I
want it, now" and they may not get
it, but they can cry and cry a person
not doing God's will facing temptations
may cry and cry and give in saying "I
want it now - now God - I want my
will now."
People that surrender and whine
and cry and manipulate others by complaining
holding onto their will, have really not
learned the lesson of doing God's will
in love and does God want a crying
baby that does His will, but screams
for their lives doing it who wants
an adult screaming babies can get
away with it and it is hard to take,
but adults must focus on how they are
pleasing in God's sight and must not
whine, cry and complain for the
sake of manipulating others.
It is hard to listen to a crying baby
much harder a crying adult.
I love the homily of Fr. Mike given
during the retreat on being thankful. Homily
Inside each of us is many things.
Do we say to God
"God I won't love myself."
I will think my joy and recognition,
must come in disobeying You
and from others
And God stands before us the gift of
God's love for us
the gift of His relationship given
to us.
God first loved us
He sent His only Son.
It is our response to God's love
If the basic premise is off
MY WILL as opposed to God's
we will have discomfort
The basic premise what is it?
God the Father has a plan for us
God wants us to serve Him in our
vocation
God calls us
God wants this response to His love
given to us.
A young child learns about will
Doing what they are told to do by mama
and dada may not be what they
want to do.
They may want "sugar pops"
mom and dad may want whole
wheat bread.
Mom and dad may say don't stand on
chairs on the balcony
and they may say
"I want to" "I want to"
"I want to."
God the Father looks on we are blessed
abundantly
We scream
"I want my way God"
Then we may decide to do what God wants,
anyway, but
scream, complain, hurt others,
hurt ourselves
A small child screaming in the hands
of a parent taking them with
them can be so boisterous
it hurts people's ears and emotions
even far away because they are
so loud
Daddy says - this is the way the child
may hold back screaming loudly
then give-in going screaming.
What about people who follow vocations,
but need a "candy" to stay in them.
Oh daddy - we will follow, but we eat
candy and drink pop and do what we
want behind dad's back and
don't tell him.
Well eating the "candies of this world" that can be sinful
is dangerous when one is called
by God for a vocation one should
follow in joy.
Fr. Carter always said a man having
a vocation to the priesthood has
to follow it despite the desire
of parents wanting him to marry.
What about our vocation?
Whatever it is, if it is God's plan
we should love it, love God
and build His Kingdom as God
desires.
Doing our own will against something
that God wants is silly
screaming and doing our vocation
in complaints and argument
is not right.
There are so few sisters, brothers and
priests today. We should show
the world the great gift of serving
the Church as the spouse of Jesus
and loving the church.
The world may be the way it is we
always look to God and follow
Christ live by His example.
He carried His cross
He mounted it and
He died on it.
He showed us He obeyed
His Father.
He always did the Father's will.
Mary always did the Father's will.
Everything we do must be done in greater
purity and love serving God
according to His will.
St. Ignatius talks about inordinate
attachments and the three classes
of men.
What about inordinate attachments?
What is our god God
Is money our god?
Is fame our god?
Is pride, pleasure our god?
Is admiration our god?
Why do I write about this at all
As God directs me I write.
What is our god?

Follow my Son Jesus

You whimper like babies and many so
willful - hurting others - living
lives of sin
"I want my way" you cry and complain
at others when you are not getting it
Sinning no matter how small opens
a door to satan!!
God is your God
You shall not have other gods before you
money, sex, admiration, fear of loneliness
A woman walked a dark street and
a strong man came after her and
she was paralyzed with fear and couldn't
move
She had this dream over and over again
and woke up screaming as he was ready
to hurt her, maybe cause her death
You walk down dark allies that
lead to habitual sins and they are roads
that can lead to death for your soul.
Do you want to live you life -
dead in sin
that sounds a paradox, but many do it
engaging in sex out of
marriage is okay the world says so
"I watch it in the movies and look at
pictures that lead me to sin." They may say
But then say "I want it"
"I want it"
Satan tempts you into ways you may
want to give in and say
"I want it anyway, despite the sin."
Genesis Chapter 3
Now, the snake was the most subtle of all the wild animals that Yahweh God had made. It asked the woman, Did God really say you were not to eat from any of the trees in the garden? The woman answered the snake, We may eat the fruit of the trees in the garden. But of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden God said, "You must not eat it, nor touch it, under pain of death." Then the snake said to the woman, No! You will not die! God knows in fact that the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil. The woman saw that the tree was good to eat and pleasing to the eye, and that it was enticing for the wisdom that it could give. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realised that they were naked. Mary speaks: But satan tries to get you to rationalize
in this case it's okay
you start to change the basic rules
the ten commandments because
You give into temptation and say
"I want it despite God's will."
When you look at a history of your
life you may see where you always
held on to a candy rather than
really giving yourself to God and
doing God's will
That made everything tainted
You are like a pearl in the oyster
shell
You feel the disharmony, you keep
the pearl at any price it is
abrasive and ugly in there
Not doing God's will keeps you from the
oneness and harmony God wants
with you, because you never
really make God #1 in your
life
You always had your "candy"
Or you were trying to get a "candy"
Or you were getting over the "candy"
In process of getting it back or
getting another to fill the
real craving in your soul only
Jesus could fill
Life in the spirit is following God's lead
living in peace and love
Making doing God's will paramount
in your life
Imagine what the world would be like
if everybody put God as #1
in their life
Sin can lead to greater and greater lies.
It is like a volcano to those who
lie about sin and keep jumping
in the volcano more and more
Satan has made the pot (the volcano)
to take the soul to the pit of everlasting doom
Messenger:
In an accident I had no time to
I always thought if you were in
an accident you could make up
any thing you had to, to God.
I had a rosary on my lap
it was torn apart bead by bead
beads were in my shoes all
over the car and my toes were
bleeding, but not cut
I never understood how it happened
A man made a left in front of me at the
top of the hill it was like the movies
there was not time for prayer
Living a life disobeying the commandments
is like being on a floor that can
give out at any time.
Lying to ourselves is giving into satan
lies go deeper and deeper into darkness
Love spreads and gives light to the world
loving according to God's will
Disobeying God hurts more than
ourselves we are connected
sin hurts others
We must see that sin hurts the world
Things done against God's will
and selfishness hurts others
can really hurt other's lives
i.e. children caught in selfish
affairs of parents can be hurt for
life
But "I love them, I want to have
fun." They may rationalize it
is okay.
We play on the surface of the earth
our lives are short-lived living by God's rules
according to God's will in love
lead to peace, happiness and joy and
the gift of everlasting life.
The Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
The Ten Commandments
I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
Honor your father and your mother.

Mysteries of Light
Baptism of the Lord
1. Jesus is the New Adam.
2. God can give us very special
grace from meditating on these
Mysteries of Light.3. There are three Persons in one God.
4. Study the picture at the beginning
of these meditations.5. We see Jesus, we see a dove
above Jesus, which is telling
us to think about the Holy Spirit.
We know in this mystery, the
voice of the Father was heard
sayingThis is My Beloved Son, in
whom I am well pleased.6. From meditating on these mysteries
of light, I feel I am getting
special grace to know each
Person of the Trinity more deeply.7. In every moment I live, I have
this deep relationship with the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.8. Since the Holy Father gave us
the direction to meditate on
these mysteries my deep love
for each Person of the
Trinity has increased.9. I know each Person Father,
Son and Holy Spirit so
deeply and love Them so
very much.10. God is with us. He has given
us the Holy Father to guide
us. God works through
those He puts over us.
God wants us to have structure
and to obey those over us who
are living the way God wants
them to live.
Marriage at Cana
1. God has given us the sacrament of marriage.
2. Jesus performed His first miracle
at the marriage at Cana.3. God calls people to different
vocations in life.4. Religious are called to a very
special relationship with Christ
through the vow of celibacy.5. Through their sacrifice, Religious
can help make reparation to God
for the sins of the flesh in the world.6. At the marriage at Cana, Jesus showed
his support for community life.7. At the marriage at Cana, Jesus
shows us that we can ask Mary
our Mother to intercede for us.8. At the marriage feast at Cana Jesus
changed water into wine at Mary's
request.
9. Mary shows her faith, that she believed
Jesus would handle the situation
at her request.10. We pray through the powerful
intercession of Mary our Mother.
Kingdom of God
1. Luke 17: 20-25
Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was to come, he gave them this answer, The coming of the kingdom of God does not admit of observation and there will be no one to say, "Look, it is here! Look, it is there!" For look, the kingdom of God is among you.
He said to the disciples, A time will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of man and will not see it. They will say to you, "Look, it is there!" or, "Look, it is here!" Make no move; do not set off in pursuit; for as the lightning flashing from one part of heaven lights up the other, so will be the Son of man when his Day comes. But first he is destined to suffer grievously and be rejected by this generation.
2. One of Fr. Carter's favorite scriptures was
Matthew 7:21
It is not anyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven.
3. Fr. Carter spent His whole life
learning about the spiritual life,
writing about it as a holy priest
of the Church and learning how
to love his brothers more deeply.
This helped us in the Movement
to learn from all his direction
how to love God and one
another more perfectly.4. We are building the Kingdom
of God by how we love God,
love one another and try to
serve God by doing His will.5. In many situations we can settle
something selfishly or settle it
in a way of love to help build
God's kingdom.6. Disobeying God's law is not being loving.
7. Parents need to discipline their
children in love and help build
the Kingdom, by helping them
grow into loving persons.8. We are sinners, we try to do what
God wants, those in authority
do what they do lovingly to
build the Kingdom.9. Jesus obeyed His Father -- He
shows us how to be obedient
and He loved those under Him
so much He gave his life for them.10. We must do what we know God
wants of us in a loving way.
It isn't loving to not do God's will.
Transfiguration
1. The bread and wine is changed
into the Body and Blood of
Jesus at Mass.2. God can give us a grace to help
change our hearts.3. God wants us to cooperate with
the special graces He gives us.4. Jesus took Peter, James and John
up the mountain.
5. Jesus was transfigured before them.
6. God gives us Himself in the Holy Eucharist.
7. We can not imagine how beautiful
our own graced soul is when
we are in the state of grace.8. Jesus wants our souls to be full of light
and radiant with His grace.9. God gives us the gift of baptism.
10. God offers us a special sharing in His life.
The Last Supper
1. Luke 22:19-20
Then he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me. He did the same with the cup after supper, and said, This cup is the new covenant in my blood poured out for you.
2. God has given the priests the
power to change the bread and
wine into the Body and Blood
of Jesus.
3. Our priests today are being
persecuted.
4. In parts of the world where priests
are trying to spread Christianity
they are being persecuted.5. We do not know in many places
of the world how very hard it can
be for our priests in some areas
where people don't believe that Jesus
is the Son of God and priests are
persecuted for teaching the truth.6. The Eucharist is such a gift.
7. The devil doesn't want us to know
how powerful the Eucharist is.8. The priests is a gift from God
and the devil wants to do
all he can to stop them.9. The Mass is so important to us.
10. The priest is so important to us.
Jesus gave Fr. Carter this

will experience a deep union
in My Heart and My Mother's heart,
they will be given special insights
into My unfathomable love for men
and experience a thirsting within
themselves to want to help souls

I appear there daily as the Sacred Heart.
Some see Me, some do not, but there
is a special presence there.
My Mother appears there for her children.- In the five years of her apparitions many
souls who have come have been
given special graces of conversion.
Many have been given grace to lead
them into a deeper love union with
God and the Blessed Virgin.
- The image site in Florida has touched
the world.- I outpour great grace to those who come
to the site.- There are tremendous graces of healing
granted to all who come.- People who come rarely leave unchanged.
- The grace granted works in their lives and in
their hearts, long after they have gone.- A reminder of their visit only need be given
and they experience a memory of
that moment.
I ask you to circulate the prayers I have
given, the Shepherds of Christ Prayers
and the Holy Spirit Novena prayers.

I am the Good Shepherd, these are My prayers, the prayers I give to help renew the Church and the world, all prayer chapters are asked to include these prayers (found in the Shepherds of Christ Prayer Manual). As My Apostles and Shepherds I ask you to encourage all existing Chapters to try to encourage all existing prayer groups to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Encourage all Churches to pray these prayers. It is most urgent that the people of this earth concur with the Father's wishes to begin Prayer Chapters. This is an urgent request from the Good Shepherd. The flock will become one when they have given their hearts to Jesus and Mary. Encourage all priests to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Your world will be lighted with great light as the people of this earth pray these prayers.
My promise is this to you My beloved earth: When you give your heart to Me and spread the devotion to My Sacred Heart, I will write your name In My Heart. I promise to give the greatest graces when you pray these prayers for renewal of the Church and the world and take all who pray them deeply into My Heart. The prayers I give will bring about the reign of My Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart. I am Jesus Christ, this is My message of January 22, 1998, Please circulate this message to your world. I am the Good Shepherd, I know Mine and Mine know Me and they follow Me. Grace My Shepherds, I will give you the greatest graces for spreading these words to this earth and to your Church.
