Jesus speaks:      To you to whom I have entrusted such
                                a gift, I want you to be faithful to
                                your mission, helping to spread
                                these images and these writings,
                                messages and prayers.

                            I want you to be thankful.
                            This is such a gift I have given you.

                            Authority —
                                Some never want to be under anyone —
                                    they are in constant competition
                                    with those over them, trying to
                                    cease the opportunity to be free.

                                There is friction, not oneness as
                                    they operate to do their own will
                                    always wanting to be ahead of
                                    the leaders.

                                Some are helpful sometimes, but change
                                    when satan tempts them to be in
                                    a bad mood and then cause
                                    friction with those over them.

                                The more one truly gives themselves to
                                    My Sacred Heart and the Immaculate
                                    Heart of My Mother — the more they
                                    will operate in unity. The more they
                                    will be one, operating according
                                    to God's will.

                                The story of Adam and Eve is at the beginning
                                    of the Bible for you have a fallen human
                                    nature and struggle with pride and
                                    jealousy and not obeying those over you.

                                Eve ate the apple and she gave it to Adam
                                    who ate.

                                I am the New Adam, My Mother is the
                                    New Eve. I give you My Flesh to
                                    eat. I want you to be so grateful
                                    for this gift.

                                Some do not recognize the gift of the
                                    priest and My Church. Mary is
                                    your spiritual Mother.

                                I give Myself to you.
                                I give you a sharing in My grace.

                            Babies are so pure.
                            They love to learn and are
                                happy with simple things.

                            Their minds can be very simple.
                            They want their needs met.

                            They want to be comfortable.

                            Some adults have so very many bad habits
                                and they do not look at themselves
                                to improve, they blame others for
                                their faults.

                            Examine your conscience, do you have the
                                same problems with many partners?
                                Some people marry 5 persons and think
                                they all have the same problem
                                when they themselves have the problem.

The Ten Commandments
 

1.   I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.

2.   You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.

3.   Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.

Mary speaks:      Lying is a sin.

Messenger:        We must obey the commandments of God.
                            Teaching others bad example is wrong.

                            We are to be lights to spread His light
                                to the world.

This is what we have heard from him and are declaring to you:
God is light,
    and there is no darkness in him at all.
If we say that we share in God’s life
while we are living in darkness,
we are lying,
    because we are not living the truth.
But if we live in light,
as he is in light,
we have a share in another’s life,
and the blood of Jesus, his Son,
cleanses us from all sin.

                    First condition: to break with sin

If we say, ‘We have no sin,’
we are deceiving ourselves,
and truth has no place in us;

                                help us to be pure in our

                            Mary told us at Fatima she wants us to make
                                reparation for our sins.

                            Fr. Carter always said from St. Ignatius

                                "What have I done for Christ?
                                What am I doing for Christ?
                                What aught I to do for Christ?"

Jesus speaks:     My people you should remember the old
                                patterned ways in which you have
                                sinned so you do not do the
                                same sins with new partners.

                            Always tell Me you are sorry for all
                                the sins of your past life and
                                pray for grace to see the sins
                                that you are now committing,
                                not to blame your short
                                comings on others, seeking unity
                                and letting go of bad habits
                                that may be actions of pride,
                                jealousy, greed etc.

                            Think of heaven, hell and
                                purgatory.

                            Hell is a place that you can go for
                                committing bad sins and not
                                being sorry.

                            Think of what God wants of you,
                                pray to know My will,
                                pray to be obedient to your
                                superiors, those in authority,
                                children should obey
                                their parents, priests obey
                                those over them when those
                                over them are doing God's will.

                            Go to confession I give you this sacrament.

                            Promote My Kingdom

                            Pray the prayers you are given —
                                the Rosary.

                            Little children are so pure.
                            Teach them to say the Hail Mary
                            Teach them to say the Our Father
                            Teach them to say the Glory Be to the Father
                            Teach them to pray the Rosary.

                            I have given you these coloring books in
                                Rosaries from the Hearts of Jesus and
                                Mary.

                            Circulate them to the children in
                                English and Spanish.

    "God wishes you to remain in the world for some time because He wants to use you to establish in the world the devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by myself to adorn His throne." ⁽¹⁰⁾

    "During her appearance in July, Our Lady, in answer to Lucia's plea, promised that in October she would work a great miracle so that all might believe and know who she was. Again, the Mother of God told the children to sacrifice themselves for sinners and to say many times, especially when making a sacrifice, this prayer: "O my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of poor sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." ⁽¹¹⁾

    "During this same July apparition, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell. She told them:

    "You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.

    "The war (World War I, then raging) is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another and worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light [January 2, 1938], know that this is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger, and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. ⁽¹²⁾

    "To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the five first Saturdays. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed....

    "But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world." ⁽¹³⁾

  

August 19, 1917

    She told them she was greatly displeased by the action of the mayor. As a result, the miracle promised for October would not be as impressive as originally planned. ⁽¹⁵⁾

 

September 13, 1917

    More than 30,000 people were present in September, and saw a shower of mysterious white petals fall to within 10 feet of the ground before dissolving into the air. Many also saw the globe of light bearing the Lady come to rest atop the tree, and the branches bend as though someone were standing on them. Later, they saw the cloud depart into the east, from whence it had come.⁽¹⁶⁾

    While the people in attendance were beholding the great Miracle of the Sun, the three young visionaries, and they alone, were privileged to see striking visions in the heavens:

    As Our Lady had promised, St. Joseph had come with the Holy Family and had blessed the world. Then, Our Lady appeared as the Mother of Sorrows, accompanied by her Divine Son, Who also blessed the world. Finally, Lucy had seen the Blessed Virgin, dressed in the brown robes of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, crowned as Queen of Heaven and Earth, holding a brown Scapular in her hand, with her infant Son upon her knee. However, in none of these visions had any of the figures spoken to the children. ⁽¹⁸⁾

    Besides the messages associated with the major Fatima apparitions, there were other revelations given by Our Lady. Before Jacinta died, she told of other messages given her (during her illness) by Mary:

    More souls go to Hell because of sins of the flesh than for any other reason.

    Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much.

    Many marriages are not good; they do not please Our Lord and are not of God.

    Priests must be pure, very pure. They should not busy themselves with anything except what concerns the Church and souls. The disobedience of priests, to their superiors and to the Holy Father, is very displeasing to Our Lord.

    I can no longer restrain the hand of my Divine Son from striking the world with just punishments for its many crimes.

    If the government of a country leaves the Church in peace and gives liberty to our Holy Religion, it will be blessed by God.

    Tell everybody that God gives graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask grace from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask them to plead for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her. ⁽¹⁹⁾

Feast of Immaculate Heart of Mary

Dear Rita,

    I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.

    Today was a good day! One woman who comes regularly has 2 little boys — 4 & 6 — who are just darling! The older boy is going to a public school and the kindergarten teacher told her that at Christmas he was telling the other little children in his class that "Christmas isn't about getting presents — it's about Jesus being born" and at Easter that "Easter isn't about bunnies and eggs — it's about Jesus rising from the dead." (Not exact quotes) One day they had to take something to school that started with a "B" and he took his Bible! He reads the Blue Book himself — they had Blue Book II at home and Blue Book I on tape. He wanted Mom to buy Blue Book I so she did. His name is Brian and he, at 6, wants to be a priest! Isn't it marvelous what the Blue Books can do for children?

   We had a 4 year old in the Gift Shop who kept pointing to the Crucifix and the pictures of the Crucifix and saying "that's God!"

   I feel deep in my heart the urgency to reach the children — they are so open!

        A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS

The one of Christ, our supreme leader and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our

PRAYER.   The usual preparatory prayer.

137. FIRST PRELUDE.   This is the history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard, and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.

138. SECOND PRELUDE.   This is a mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain, comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.

139. THIRD PRELUDE.   This is to ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander, and the grace to imitate Him.
   

FIRST PART

THE STANDARD OF SATAN

140. FIRST POINT.   Imagine you see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.

141. SECOND POINT.   Consider how he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state of life, no individual is overlooked.

142. THIRD POINT.   Consider the address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.

   The first step, then, will be riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one leads to all other vices.
   

SECOND PART

THE STANDARD OF CHRIST

143.   In a similar way, we are to picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.

144. FIRST POINT.   Consider Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.

145. SECOND POINT.   Consider how the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc., and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among all men, no matter what their state or condition.
