                R. Surrender and don't
                    Miss
                    God's sky today –
                    every day –
                    the beauty of His life

                "Oh how far we
                    have come living
                    every day in Him"

                Jesus: I come to you and you are tested
                by the events that face you. I am
                your God and you cannot have any
                gods before Me.

                    I call you to surrender and to
                let go to Me.

                R. When we look at where we
                were in our lives and in this
                journey God has taken us on in
                knowing Him and knowing others –
                in learning in relationships we
                can be amazed from the beginning
                how far we have come, if we
                look at our beginning and thank God
                for what He has taught us and allowed
                us to experience.

                    The mind and the heart is such
                a tremendous thing – we never
                really bottom out – how it can
                grow and learn about God and
                love and relationships when we are
                rooted in God.

                    In this great vat of the infinite
                we can truly say – we see in
                shades and pieces so much
                and yet what we will see
                one day when we get to heaven
                is beyond what we can ever imagine –
                How awesome is that, that we cannot
                ever - even grasp the infinite – the
                Divine Mysteries – we are seeing
                so limited now and yet we can
                grow in love and relationships and
                knowing God and be excited as
                we journey because that is why
                God has put us here – to spend
                today in this variety of learning
                more and more about Him and life –
                We are here like little babies and
                children who are learning so
                much – how to walk, how to
                crawl, how to talk, how to
                recognize letters and numbers and
                know our colors and words for
                things – how to see the outside,
                the sky, rain, sun, flowers etc. –

                    We are here to learn about God –
                God gives us a sharing in His life
                in baptism – We are open to the
                SUPERNATURAL world – I work
                with you – you work with me –
                we become friends – we open
                up on this journey to the infinite –
                we live more and more knowing
                and loving God and others –

                    Look how far we have come in
                the Shepherds of Christ where God is telling
                us about Himself – helping us
                in our journey to work with our
                imperfect self and others and
                keep at it – trying to love and
                move ahead on our journey to
                Him.

                    We don't sit on a curb and
                kick our toes against the concrete
                in disgust – even in moments
                of thought and solitude God is
                with us helping us ponder the ways
                of the heart – we ponder the love
                of Jesus, we ponder the love of
                her Immaculate Heart, we meditate on
                Their lives and the scriptures –

                    We have only so many days
                to do this – We don't want to
                waste an hour, a minute,
                a day on our journey – always
                moving more and more up to Him –
                doing the Father's will -

                    We love, we work, we play,
                we pray, God is with us. God is
                guiding us, God has a Plan for
                us.

                    Why would a person want to
                leave God out. God is a Supreme
                Being. God loves us.

                    The message is

                Jesus: Look how far I have taken
                you in the Shepherds of Christ Movement –
                I am leading you – don't
                waste a moment – like a beautiful
                gem in the furnace – I am
                making you more brilliant when
                you surrender to Me. I have
                molded you and loved you and
                teaching you about the
                Supernatural, do not resist
                My beautiful teaching to you –
                I am at the helm of your life,
                but you must surrender to Me –
                Come to me Lord and Possess my soul –
                I am at the helm –
                You are My precious one and
                    I love you, I love you,
                    I love you –

                R. I walked day by day on His pathways
                and I followed Him, He opened before
                me the door – like a gallant gentleman,
                He opened the door for me and I ventured
                in – sometimes reluctantly because
                I did not know the unknown –
                He then took His place like a
                gentleman, with a plan and began
                to drive and I was submissive
                to Him –

                    While others were opening their
                own doors and driving themselves,
                I did realize I didn't want
                to waste a day when I was with
                Him, surrendered to Him and
                when it is all done I can
                say – He was preparing me
                for His eternal vision and
                my eternal life with Him –

                    How far we have come, I
                can say because He led me
                by the hand in the briar
                paths and the heavy rocks
                and the sunlit days –

                    All God's journey for me
                that was leading me to eternal
                happiness with Him one day in
                heaven.

                    Yes the sky is the limit – the
                beauty of one lighted sky –
                red and gold-clouded and
                the basking sun after a long
                hot day – the wonder of its
                beauty and magnificence and
                the sky that never stopped
                showing me magnificence I
                could not even take it –

                    He carried me some of the
                time when flood waters came –
                He breathed in me life when
                I felt I could not breathe –
                He took me over hill and led
                me in the valley and then
                I can surely say –
                Oh Jesus how far we have trod –
                so many experiences and roads –
                a night of blustering wonder
                and He led me and I never
                let go when the darkness
                crouched in and wanted to
                consume me – I could feel His
                hand, His way was smooth
                against, even, the torrential
                rains and the currents of life –
                He lifted me up over flooding waters,
                over torrential fires – He carried
                me – He led me from the dung
                heap pile some set for me and
                I held tight to see the glory of
                the beautiful day – the love
                of friendship – the warmth
                of a child's eyes and the touch
                of a baby's kiss –

                    These were on the journey,
                I didn't want to miss anything
                He had in store for me to learn
                and see on my way.

                    Even the trying experiences were
                the ones that led me closer to Him,
                knowing more His presence –
                seeing insight into the heart
                and the soul – feeling in
                the heart I never knew – deep –
                gripping me like a cold hand –
                wrapping me in the embrace of
                knowing the deepest joy in
                loving so much –
                love beyond love – it was His
                journey for me in the dark
                night –
                He taught me surrender, He
                taught me friendship and love –
                He taught me – He taught me –
                He was with me –

                Why would I try to run away
                from God who led me and has
                a plan for my life today –

                Men measure in different ways than
                God –

                They count their money and try
                to control their days –
                How different life is when we
                surrender to Him who is
                at the helm of our life –

                    Do you really comprehend
                how much He can do in a day
                if we let Him run our life –

                    The wise man is the man
                who sees how far he has
                come from the beginning and
                rejoices in living life, in being
                one with God, one in mind and
                heart – one in every day –

                    Why would a man sit on a
                pity-pot and let the opportunity
                God wants for today to pass
                him by.

                    Dear God – help us today
                to surrender to Your plan for
                us and to learn the lessons
                in love and in the heart –
                in knowing that You teach us
                today. Amen.
