Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

St. Paul
"...it is no longer I who live, but
Christ lives in me." Galatians 2
Allowing God to operate in
us, all day, every day.
Dear God: Father, Son and
Holy Spirit, come and dwell
in my soul and operate in
me.
I love you, God,
Come to me Lord and
possess my soul.
Whatever we do we
operate in Him. We are
never alone.
God dwells abundantly in
our graced, baptized soul.
We live to serve You and
give ourselves in love to
You.
From the Mass book
December 18,1995
(Fr. Carter died 5 years
later December 18,2000)
Let no man separate
what God has joined together. I
am wed in the deepest love
with my beloved Spouse,
Wed to the Heart of Jesus.
As I am, I am one in Him. I
live and I breathe in Him.
He, Who is love, He who is
our all, He Who is Mighty
and without limits, He Who
is, He Who is God and I live,
He lives in me in this world.
I am Wed to Him, and I shall
not fear for He is God-one
complete, loving, God.
Heart of Jesus, I place my
trust in Thee. As I live, I live
in Your most adorable
Heart, the furnace of God's
love! Mass book December
18, 1995.
Joyful Rosary for July 5
Annunciation
1. Luke 1:30-38
2.Mary conceived, brought
forth, and nourished Christ.
3. Mary is the perfect
handmaid of the Lord.
4. The incarnation goes on
in us.
5. Mary presented Jesus to
the Father in the temple,
and Mary was united with
Jesus in suffering as He
died on the cross.
6. In the Documents of
Vatican II it says: In an
utterly singular way, she
cooperated by her
obedience, faith, hope, and
burning charity in the
Savior’s work of restoring,
supernatural life to souls.
7. The scripture above and
this quote from Vatican II
tell us Fr. Carter says: that
Mary truly is the Mother of
Jesus, that she truly is the
Mother of God.
8. Mary’s entire life was
centered in Christ.
9. No human has ever
followed Christ as closely
as has Mary.
10. Father Carter SJ says:
Mary’s spiritual life was
perfectly centered in Jesus
as she went with Christ to
the Father in the Holy Spirit
Visitation
1.Mary went with haste to
visit her cousin Elizabeth,
who was 6 months
pregnant.
2. “ Nothing is impossible
with God.”
3. When Mary got there the
child in Elizabeth’s womb
leapt for joy.
4. Mary filled with the Holy
Spirit cried out the
Magnificat.
5. Mary said, “My soul doth
magnify the Lord.” Luke
6. Mary said,” My spirit
rejoices in God my Savior."
Luke
7. Mary said:” The Mighty
one has done great things
to me, and Holy is his name.”
Luke:
8.Mary remained with
Elizabeth, about 3 months.
9.Elizabeth’s baby was
John the Baptist.
10. John the Baptist, Jesus’
cousin was to prepare the
way for Jesus.
Birth of Jesus
1. We need the Word in the
hearts of men.
2.John 1:14
"The Word became flesh, he
lived among us."
3. It is through. Mary’s
Immaculate Heart that we
go deeply into the Heart of
Jesus.
4.Jesus came a little baby
in a stable in Bethlehem.
5. There was not room for
Jesus and Mary and
Joseph in the Inn.
Is there room for Jesus in
our hearts.
6. Fr. Carter said going to
the Heart of Jesus and the
Heart of Mary is our little
heaven on earth.
7. Mary and Jesus’ Hearts
are the Hearts of greatest
love.
8. Jesus is the Savior of the
world.
9.God is with us.
10. Sing: Away in a Manger.
Sing: Oh Holy Night.
Sing: Angels we have heard
on high.
Sing: Silent Night
Presentation in the Temple
1.Joseph and Mary took
baby Jesus to the temple.
2. They met the prophet
Simeon.
3.Luke 2:34-35
‘ Look, he is destined for
the fall, and for the rise of
many in Israel, destined to
be a sign that is opposed-
and a sword will pierce
your soul too.’
4.Sing: Little Baby Hands
and Feet.
5. We want the completion
of the Fatima mission. We
want the renewal of our.
Church and our world. We
want churches in which the
Blessed Sacrament is
exposed, and Jesus is
loved and worshiped and
adored on His throne as He
should be.
6. Sing: See the eyes that
Look at Mary.
7.Rom 6:3-4
"Or are you unaware that we
who were baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized
into his death? We were
indeed buried with him
through baptism into death,
so that, just as Christ was
raised from the dead by
the glory of the Father, we too
might live in newness of
life."
8. Luke 24:25-26.
9. Fr. Carter says.: We
cannot maintain the life of
resurrection, or grow in it,
without a willingness to
suffer.
10.He further says: the
great tragedy regarding
human suffering is not that
there is so much of it, but
that apparently, so much
of it is wasted.
Yes, our Mother Mary
knows what it is like to
suffer. She knows so well,
the purpose of suffering in
God‘s plan. By asking her
to obtain for us the grace to
grow in wisdom, we can
increasingly understand
the role of suffering in our
own lives. Asking her for
the grace not to waste
suffering, we can learn to
use it as a means of
growth for ourselves and
others.
Finding in the Temple
1.Luke 2:48-50.
When his parents saw him,
they were astounded, and
his mother said to him,
“Son, why have you done
this to us? Your father and I
have been looking for you
with great anxiety.” and he
said to them,” why were
you looking for me? Did
you not know that I must
be in my Father’s house?
But they did not
understand what he said to
them.
2. The above scene
describes how Mary and
Joseph found Jesus in the
temple after having been
separated from him.
3. Father Carter says the
scene reminds us of the
guiding principle of Jesus’
life - loving conformity to
His Father’s will.
4.The Father’s will was
always Jesus’ way, every
day, in all matters.
5. As followers of Jesus, his
guiding principle must also
be ours.
6. This event in Christ’s life
also demonstrates that
conformity to God’s will
sometimes brings hurt or
sorrow to loved ones.
7.We pray to the Holy Spirit
to help us to know the
heavenly Father’s will.
8.We know, however, there
is no other course of action,
if we are to be open to
God’s designs for us.
9. The finding of the child
Jesus in the temple,
illustrates still a further point
regarding conformity to
God’s will.
10. The application of this
lesson to our own Christian
lives is vividly manifest, Fr.
Carter says.
At times there occurs an
incident we do not
understand. We realize that
somehow, this is God’s will,
at least His permissive will,
yet we do not understand
why, and our unknowing is
part of our pain.

|
Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
