    Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me.             Notes from R Ring

Messenger:     Yesterday as we began the Shepherds of Christ 6:20 prayers

                            in Florida under Mary's image it was burning

                            hot outside. I prayed for the heat to die down.

                        It began to rain and we continued to pray.

                        I silently prayed a speedy novena (9 hail Marys)

                            for the rain to stop.

                        All night it was as if it rained all round us,

                            but we remained dry.

Messenger:     I talked to a priest about

                            the Spiritual Exercises and 

                            he told me St. Ignatius was trying

                            to help us to get rid of attachments,

                            that which are our imperfections.

                        Let us analyze why we do some things.

                            We must admit our sins. How can

                            we stop doing our

                            imperfections if we don't recognize

                            them at all.

                        Another holy priest, young, who died of

                            cancer, said he had knee problems,

                            he wouldn't recognize it, but

                            he needed to recognize it to see

                            about his healing therapy.

                            Jesus wants us to be bridge-

                        builders. Jesus wants those in

                        authority to be loving and those

                        underneath to respond in love

                        to those over them.

                            We can't do what Jesus wants

                        us to do if we are fighting

                        when a leader tells us to change

                        something and asks us to do something.

                            So what was the spiritual exercises

                        about - growing in greater perfection -

                        being more likened to Jesus, having

                        a loving, deep relationship with

                        the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit and Mary.

                        My people I tell you to respond in love.
