Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families,  the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Relationships can be
Relationship with God:
Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
Relationships with others,
our parents taught us
much.
Relationships can teach us
about dealing with others:
Mother, father,
parents, brothers, sisters,
son, daughters, child,
authority, friends, spouse,
co-workers, people we live
with - community, angels,
saints, people we deal with
at Church, at the store,
neighbors, other people in
the world, politics,
drivers, etc.

Relationships are not the
same with everyone,
grandchildren, children etc.
Today’s Gospel could be
confusing, but for the
greatest commandment.

Luke 12:49-53

Jesus and his Passion

'I have come to bring fire to the earth, and how I wish it were blazing already! There is a baptism I must still receive, and what constraint I am under until it is completed!

Jesus the cause of dissension

'Do you suppose that I am here to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. For from now on, a household of five will be divided: three against two and two against three; father opposed to son, son to father, mother to daughter, daughter to mother, mother-in-law to daughter-in-law, daughter-in-law to mother-in-law.'

Matthew 22: 34-40

The greatest commandment of all

But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees they got together and, to put him to the test, one of them put a further question,   36 ‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’ Jesus said to him, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself.  On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.’

R. Order is living as God
wants of us.
When Adam and Eve
sinned, disorder entered
the world, disease, death,
disorder in the elements,
disorder in animals and
fish, etc.

Healthy relationships are
how we grow in trust, in
communication, in knowing
how to react and treat
others.
Fr. Carter said having a
significant relationship with
another that is as God
wants, helps us to grow in
our relationship with God.
He said loving God as we
should helps us grow in our
significant relationships
with others and all
relationships in our life.
Disciples, Fr. Joe said, are
learners.
Mary is the most perfect
disciple of Jesus.
Learners are listeners.
Children are wide-eyed and
hopefully, ready to learn.

Babies are taught when
little, they are important.
They need to know they are
special, unique, they need
love and learn trust.
Even a tree, a plant, a dog
needs care and kindness.
Animals like horses need
care and kindness, not to
be neglected by someone.

Jesus showed us love.
Jesus came to teach us
love. God is love and He is
perfect love.

Matthew 5: 48

…You must therefore be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.’

We are here to grow in the
image and likeness of
Jesus.
We are here to die to the
ways not like Jesus and
grow in the image and
likeness of Jesus.
Jesus came, He took flesh,
He showed us the way.
Jesus is the way, the truth
and the life.

God created us to someday
get to heaven eternally.
We are here to help build
the Kingdom of God and to
love!!!
We are to be here to help
the Church and the world
to be more in the image of
Jesus.

R. I guess relationships teach
us more about God when
they are healthy, according
to His will.
They are very precious
when they grow in love, too
deep to even put into
words. Relationships are
truly God’s gift to us, when
growing as God wants, in
trust and unity and love.
God is so good to us to
give us each other and all
His love for us. We can’t
even express real love in
relationships in words - too
deep.
I still cry because I miss Fr.
Carter, but the more I know
God in his writings, my
relationship grows even
though he has been gone
22 years. Our relationships
with God grows, Mary
grows, angels and saints
grow!! It’s precious,
relationships reflect God’s
love between us when they
are according to God’s will
and that is deep, in Him,
beyond words. …

We help each other just
loving and supporting each
other in friendship and
prayer, that’s so good, like
the Heavenly Father loved
and supported Jesus on
the cross, in the Garden, it
never took the suffering
away.

Love is the great gift,
beyond words.
It’s relationship, according
to God’s will.
We’re imperfect, limited,
and yet we can love,
forgive, give, take, support
and reflect God’s love to
each other when we need it
most, but we can’t give into
caved-in misery and self
enclosed pity pots as a way
of life when we feel like it
and know the growth of
loving relationships.
It takes trust and love,
accountability and
responsibility, and respect
for the other, created by
God.
It takes truthfulness, loving
and forgiving.
It takes God, God’s
strength in our
relationships.

Heaven: relationships in
perfection, without
suffering!
Perfect love, casts out fear.
Fear can be a monster, then
add exhaustion and bodily
limits!!

Can you meditate, Mary
was taken body and soul to
heaven in the Assumption.
Mary was conceived
sinless.
Mary had no sin.

To go to heaven, we have to
be loving. We need to
practice telling God how
much we love Him to
prepare for heaven. Heaven
is eternal love, unity,
perfection in relationships.
Telling Jesus and others we
love Him is preparing
ourselves for heaven. We
must be lovers to get in.
Heaven is for lovers.

Mary says “I love you.”

Jesus says: “The moment
you go to the Eucharist, you
receive Me, perfect love.
Then you go to the world
and your boat may rock on
stormy waters.”

I feed you with Myself!!

I am God!! I am love!
Open your heart to My gift
of perfect love, do not hold
back.

R. Mary is Mother of our
spiritual life, Mother of the
Eucharist.

Learning Through Experiences

Feast of the Assumption

R. The most important messages Jesus has delivered to me have been those that He has allowed me to experience. Jesus has delivered the messages of His aching Heart, His burning Heart, His pleading Heart, His thirsting Heart, His lamenting Heart, the pain in the Heart, the pain in the Garden, the pain as He hung on the cross, the pain as He carried the cross, the pain of how He died and we still are not satisfied! His agony over the priests – His joy at their love, the fact that He is alive and how He laments and laments!

Hebrews 9:12-14

and he has entered the sanctuary once and for all, taking with him not the blood of goats and bull calves, but his own blood, having won an eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkled on those who have incurred defilement, may restore their bodily purity. How much more will the blood of Christ, who offered himself, blameless as he was, to God through the eternal Spirit, purify our conscience from dead actions so that we can worship the living God.

       August 18, 1996 (excerpts)

God Lets Us Suffer

Father,

Help us, Father. We want to help Your plan unfold. We want to be little children obeying You, but we bump our heads into one another. We are controlling and selfish, many times, and we don’t even realize how many times we are unloving. Pray for me, the little child of God - my God, my love, my all. I adore You and love You, my most beauteous God.

Father, I love You. I love Jesus and I love the Holy Spirit. I love Mary and all the saints and angels and all souls in heaven and on earth. Father, in my heart I want to love and I fail so many times. I am so weak. I want You, God. I want to be with You in the deepest union. I long and I thirst for You. I want to be swept up in Your heavenly embrace. I want You, God. I am totally dependent on You and Your grace for I am so weak. I give You myself, wholly and entirely. I ask the Holy Spirit to sanctify me, to make me more like Jesus. I want to be like Him so much and I fail. Oh, God, help me. I love You so much. I just want to please You, my beloved Father. I pray all this, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy Spirit, through the powerful intercession of Our Lady and all the angels and saints, and the souls in purgatory.

I am your little child. Please help me to please You, God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and Mary, please - please help this helpless child. I love You.

Think of what God knew - and to watch senseless men and see them focused on so many things that are useless.

Sing: Little Child

Excerpts from Rosaries of June 5th and June 11th, 1996

June 5, 1996

Jesus: ...Satan will create division between mother and child, between husbands and wives, between friend and friend and each and every one of you that I have called to help spread this message to the world. He will keep you focused on negativism and criticism. Your hearts must be filled with love. It is in love that you have proceeded ahead and the message will reach this earth. You are My apostles. You cannot come with hearts that are haughty and prideful.

June 11, 1996

Jesus: I am allowing you to experience sufferings in your lives to strengthen you for the days to come. You do not know how satan will attempt to stop you. Satan will cause this doubt and confusion in your life. You must stay focused on Me. You must trust in Me in all of your activities. You must surrender and let go. I will test you, My dear ones. I will allow you to go through these struggles that you will learn a deeper trust, that you will go to My Heart and take refuge in My Heart. It is in My Heart that you will find peace, for as you are pressed on, you will want to run and to go away, but you must know that I am with you always. You must stay focused on Me. You must not give into His tauntings. You must not give up. You are My apostles that I am sending into this world. If you say no, who will I send? 8/18/96

Feast of the Assumption

Joyful Mysteries

The Annunciation

1. Matthew 1: 18-24

Joseph adopts Jesus as his son

This is how Jesus Christ came to be born. His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph; but before they came to live together she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Her husband Joseph, being an upright man and wanting to spare her disgrace, decided to divorce her informally. He had made up his mind to do this when suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived what is in her by the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you must name him Jesus, because he is the one who is to save his people from their sins.’ Now all this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken through the prophet:

Look! the virgin is with child
and will give birth to a son
whom they will call Immanuel,

a name which means ‘God–is–with–us’. When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord had told him to do: he took his wife to his home;

2. Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’... Luke 1: 38

3. Mary always did the will of the Father.
4. Mary said "yes" to the angel, showing us we need to obey God's will.
5. We want the image and likeness of Jesus to develop in all our ways in our lives.
6. We put on Christ. We live the Christ-life.
7. Jesus comes abundantly and dwells in our heart when we live as the Father wants.
8. Birthing: We want Jesus to fill us abundantly and operate in love in our hearts.
9. Are we in the state of being open to the Holy Spirit forming Jesus more and more in us in our heart and soul. Come Holy Spirit come.
10. Mary was told by the angel her cousin Elizabeth was with child in her old age, for nothing is impossible with God.

The Visitation

1. Luke 1: 39-45

Mary set out at that time and went as quickly as she could into the hill country to a town in Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’

2.The child in Elizabeth's womb leapt for joy at the site of Mary and Jesus in her womb.
3. Mary was filled with the Holy Spirit and gave the Magnificat.
4. Mary: "My soul doth magnify the Lord and my Spirit rejoices in God my Savior."
5. "And Holy is His Name."
6. We carry Jesus in our hearts when we live in the state of grace and live as God wants.
7. We can then, reflect in our lives, the God who dwells in us.
8. God is light and in Him is no darkness.
9. Come Holy Spirit Come.

10. From the Priestly Newsletter Book III by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

The Holy Spirit And Mary

The late Archbishop Luis M. Martinez of Mexico strikingly speaks of the ongoing cooperation of Mary with the Holy Spirit regarding the reproduction of Jesus within us: "Christian life is the reproduction of Jesus in souls…

"Now, how will this mystical reproduction be brought about in souls? In the same way in which Jesus was brought into the world, for God gives a wonderful mark of unity to all His works. Divine acts have a wealth of variety because they are the work of omnipotence; nevertheless, a most perfect unity always shines forth from them because they are the fruit of wisdom; and this divine contrast of unity and variety stamps the works of God with sublime and unutterable beauty.

"In His miraculous birth, Jesus was the fruit of heaven and earth…The Holy Spirit conveyed the divine fruitfulness of the Father to Mary, and the virginal soil brought forth in an ineffable manner our most loving Savior, the divine Seed, as the prophets called Him…

"That is the way He is reproduced in souls. He is always the fruit of heaven and earth.

"Two artisans must concur in the work that is at once God’s masterpiece and humanity’s supreme product: the Holy Spirit and the most holy Virgin Mary. Two sanctifiers are necessary to souls, the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, for they are the only ones who can reproduce Christ.

"Undoubtedly, the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary sanctify us in different ways. The first is the Sanctifier by essence; because He is God, who is infinite sanctity; because He is the personal Love that completes, so to speak, the sanctity of God, consummating His life and His unity, and it belongs to Him to communicate to souls the mystery of that sanctity. The Virgin Mary, for her part, is the co-operator, the indispensable instrument in and by God’s design. From Mary’s maternal relation to the human body of Christ is derived her relation to His Mystical Body which is being formed through all the centuries until the end of time, when it will be lifted up to the heavens, beautiful, splendid, complete, and glorious.

"These two, then, the Holy Spirit and Mary, are the indispensable artificers of Jesus, the indispensable sanctifiers of souls. Any saint in heaven can co-operate in the sanctification of a soul, but his co-operation is not necessary, not profound, not constant: while the co-operation of these two artisans of Jesus of whom we have just been speaking is so necessary that without it souls are not sanctified (and this by the actual design of Providence), and so intimate that it reaches to the very depths of our soul. For the Holy Spirit pours charity into our heart, makes a habitation of our soul, and directs our spiritual life by means of His gifts. The Virgin Mary has the efficacious influence of Mediatrix in the most profound and delicate operations of grace in our souls. And, finally, the action of the Holy Spirit and the co-operation of the most holy Virgin Mary are constant; without them, not one single character of Jesus would be traced on our souls, no virtue grow, no gift be developed, no grace increased, no bond of union with God be strengthened in the rich flowering of the spiritual life.

"Such is the place that the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary have in the order of sanctification. Therefore, Christian piety should put these two artisans of Christ in their true place, making devotion to them something necessary, profound, and constant." 18

The Birth of Jesus

1. Luke 2: 15-20

Now it happened that when the angels had gone from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, ‘Let us go to Bethlehem and see this event which the Lord has made known to us.’ So they hurried away and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. When they saw the child they repeated what they had been told about him, and everyone who heard it was astonished at what the shepherds said to them. As for Mary, she treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds went back glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as they had been told.

2. Jesus came a little baby, why are we so high and mighty in our ways?
3. The night was blest, Jesus, the Son of God came.
4. Sing: O Come, O Come Emmanuel
5. Sing: Silent Night
6. Sing: Angels We have Heard on High
7. The angels, Jesus said surround the exposed Eucharist in our Church in China, Indiana.
8. Sing: What Child is This
9. Jesus wants us to love Him.
10. Jesus came to teach us love.

The Presentation in the Temple

1. Luke 2: 25-35

Now in Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was an upright and devout man; he looked forward to the restoration of Israel and the Holy Spirit rested on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he had set eyes on the Christ of the Lord. Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:

    Now, Master, you are letting
        your servant go in peace
    as you promised;
for my eyes have seen the salvation
    which you have made ready
        in the sight of the nations;
a light of revelation for the gentiles
and glory for your people Israel.

As the child’s father and mother were wondering at the things that were being said about him, Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too — so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'

2. Jesus was a baby and Simeon told Mary and Jesus of the sufferings to come!!
3. Jesus died for our sins.
4. Jesus is our Savior.
5. Mary knew Jesus would suffer.
6. Sing: Little Baby Hands and Feet

7. Sing: A Song from Jesus

8. Sing: I Love You Jesus

9. Jesus loves us so much: Jesus came to earth to teach us how to love and obey the heavenly Father.
10. Jesus came to pay for our sins, so we can, hopefully, go to heaven some day, if we love and serve God as He commands us to.

The Finding in the Temple

1. Luke 2: 46-52

It happened that, three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with people.

2. Many souls will be lost despite Jesus' suffering because of their willful sinfulness during their lives, because of mortal sins they commit and refuse to repent.
3. Mary's Message - from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light. end of Mary's Message

4. Song: See the Eyes that Look at Mary

5. In the Our Father it says..."Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven".
God wants us to live according to the Father's will in love.

6. Fr. Carter talks about the 3 loves:
    Love of God,
    Love of others,
    Love of self.

7. The Ten Commandments

  1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
  10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

8. Revelation 11: 19; 12: 1-6, 10

Then the sanctuary of God in heaven opened, and the ark of the covenant could be seen inside it. Then came flashes of lightning, peals of thunder and an earthquake and violent hail.

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth. Then a second sign appeared in the sky: there was a huge red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and each of the seven heads crowned with a coronet. Its tail swept a third of the stars from the sky and hurled them to the ground, and the dragon stopped in front of the woman as she was at the point of giving birth, so that it could eat the child as soon as it was born. The woman was delivered of a boy, the son who was to rule all the nations with an iron sceptre, and the child was taken straight up to God and to his throne, while the woman escaped into the desert, where God had prepared a place for her to be looked after for twelve hundred and sixty days.

Then I heard a voice shout from heaven, ‘Salvation and power and empire for ever have been won by our God, and all authority for his Christ, now that the accuser, who accused our brothers day and night before our God, has been brought down.

9. 1 Corinthians 15: 20-27

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him.

10. August 9, 2000

R. Oh, there is not one so fair as thee, my beloved Mother Mary.

Of all the maidens that God could have chosen it was you, oh shining Star of Heaven.

Oh Mary, Mother of us all. She doth appear as a wonder so fair indeed,

A permanent sign of God’s love.

A Woman clothed in gold.

One that glistens with the radiance of a golden tone,

Her beauty dancing in the sunlit hours of every day.

In morning splendor, in dancing light at noon day as the sun glistens on her rainbow glow and at night she has appeared on special dates in golden splendor and light.

Would you quote the Scripture for Mary so fair.

“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth.”  (Revelation 12: 1-2)

Would you see her as she appeared in little villages in the 20th century, tucked in hills and out of the way places.

If you missed these enormous signs from heaven, of one so fair, she appears there clothed in the golden sun of the day, reflecting her radiant beauty painted by the hand of the Father. She is His chosen maiden so fair.

She appears daily, she is there by day and beneath the black shadows of night, she does not slumber, but calls to her children of light to come through her golden doorway and let the light of Christ shine in their souls.

She appears one so fair, by day and sometimes by night clothed in radiance and golden, her garment hemmed with glistening sunlight. She once appeared to a few and her visits fleeting in remotest places, she remains a Woman Clothed with the Sun, the sun dancing on her garments of rainbow color on a busy, busy corner for all to see, in the state of the sun, sunny Florida. She is a Woman painted by the brush of God.

And do you know the wonder of one who calls the children far and wide, to hear the voice of her Son, Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the Flock.

Mary, the heavenly maiden, to call them home to His Heart.

Oh, of one so fair, do we not boast and praise our God and thank Him for such a wonder.

Oh, to Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, we cry, help us to do what you asked for at Fatima and help us in our mission of telling the world of your Son’s desire to spread His Movement so men will be Shepherds of Christ.

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
