August 16, 2008 - 3:00am

How could I even ponder the fact the
Divine Almighty God took flesh —

We cannot even fathom the goodness
of God — or the depth to which we can
experience life — the more deeply I live
                in Him —

I know so deeply my beloved God dwelling
within me, I know His presence in the
Eucharist — I cannot even fathom
the depths to know Him ever more —
the reality of life itself and yet satan
is the grand deceiver — with scams
he uses over and over again leading
                men to falsehood —
they give into his trickery —

                    TRUTH IS the sweetness of
our soul — the joy of the contemplative —
I love the Father, Son and Holy Spirit with such
a depth I cannot express the depths
                of knowing life in Him.

Pondering the might of God —
seeing the stars, the elements, the
intricacies of a baby — the organs in
our own bodies and how they work —
How can we ever even fathom the
                scope of God and

Yet man is so blind — so shallow
in how he perceives things —

                    (Jesus says so anal
                what ever that means)

Man has a free will —

To the extent he chooses to believe
in his own dominance he loses
the grasp on the reality of the magnificence
                of God —

Relying on self is like a hollow
tube — it is hollow — never full
of the might of God —

Jesus: Seek you for senseless dominance —
                    you get the wounded human
                    creature — tainted in how
                    he sees things

Reach to be possessed by God
                Senseless men —

Help Me spread My Kingdom —
Your kingdom of self is like the
                    dust of the earth —

You cannot build on sand —

Root all you do in the
                    Rock
                    Steady shaking knees
Swollen and filled with water —
Let the purity of a new day —
                        be the day you remove
                        your blind folds —

                Blind folds —
                Oh men —
                Oh men —

You see not with eyes, but your
                    hearts —

                Lift your souls to God

                Reach for those things that
                    last FOREVER

Know that I am your God
                Know My gentleness
                Know My faithfulness
                Know Divine Love

Don't reach for the flowers that
                    die and fade

                R. Let us contemplate the mystery of
                    the Trinity

The relationship of Father, Son and
                    Holy Spirit

The love of the Persons of the Trinity

There are 3 Persons in one God

                This knowledge deepens our
                    happiness —

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in
the graced baptized soul. The Trinity
lives in us. We do not
reach for the mystery and yet
knowing more of the mystery gives us
                such happiness.

We do not know God's ways —
                He imparts to us knowledge
of Himself — the pompous man
studies his own might — the wise
is reaching to know the mystery of God —
to learn to love — love God and one another —
in that lies our joy —

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

IN THE DEEPEST RECESSES OF HIS HEART

The place Jesus took me was into the deepest recesses of His Heart. I was enveloped in His burning love. It was a red room with heat and an intense glow. I was swept away in this embrace, and I only existed in Him. The power of the Almighty God enveloped me, and I only existed in Him. There was no fear, for I was existent in this Almighty Being. My heart was wrapped in the eternal embrace of this Supreme Being. The security, the power I know was His deep presence in which I existed.

I knew the room was red and warm. I knew His immenseness, but I felt my own completeness in Him. I did not feel little, as a speck, but elevated and empowered for I existed then in Him in a most special way.

I was overtaken by the love of God. The fire of the Holy Spirit filled me. I was absorbed by the love of the Father, and I existed IN Him and in the deepest recesses of the Heart of Jesus. Our heaven on earth is these inner chambers of His magnificent Heart - the Heart of the Almighty God, with all the power, with omnipotence, with the fire of the love of God. He took me to the deepest chamber of this fiery Heart, and in that moment, I touched eternity, for I knew what it was to be enveloped in the deep furnace of His love. I now want to exist in this chamber of His Heart, swept away in His burning love, absorbed in my every cell with His love.

We do not understand the fire of His love. We do not understand what it is to be absorbed by love itself. He took me to the inner, deepest chamber of His Heart, and I felt the heat and knew the presence of love itself, and there was no fear, only a feeling of completeness, omnipotence, all-embracing, penetrating love - a power indescribable in words, a saturation of my being in the presence of God, and I was as I was created to be - living in Him!

This is how I will forever live my life, saturated with His divine life and love deep within this inner chamber of His burning Heart, living in Him as He possesses my being, and I operate with His power in me.

Little creatures though we are, we are His, His power, His life, flowing through us. In Him, we are as the Father intended: one in Him, each one of us, dwelling in this fiery furnace of His love. With our fears quieted and our hearts empowered by His life, we live forever in Him - in the Heart of Jesus.

Let no man separate what God has joined together. I am wed in the deepest love with my beloved Spouse, wed to the Heart of Jesus. As I am, I am one in Him. I live and I breathe in Him. He, Who is love, He Who is our all, He Who is mighty and without limits, He Who is, He Who is God and as I live, He lives in me in this world.

I am wed to Him, and I shall not fear for He is God - one, complete, loving, God. Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee. As I live, I live in Your most adorable Heart, the furnace of God's love!

August 16, 1993

R. Dear Jesus, Please come to me and write to me now, I really need to be alone with You and hear Your words, please talk to me.

Jesus:  My dear child, put your fear and anxiety aside. You are coming for My truth. I am the Truth. I live in you and you are watered by My words of truth. Deception is very troublesome to you when you live in My truth. On any scale deception is not at all funny. I know you cannot watch a movie anymore, it is not of God. Do not give in to the ways of this world. Feed yourself with only that which is of Me. Turn your entire life over to Me, trust in My ways and make them your own. Read and reread each letter, go back to your old letters, know them by heart so My words and thinking will become engraved in you. You must speak from My truth. You must be filled with My wisdom. You must not falter or wonder, but be confident in these words I write to you. My work for you is to speak My truths. You must study them and know all I have taught you. Those are your lessons. All that is not of Me will become so foreign, you will want only to choose My way, but you must teach yourself with My letters. I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE and he who abides in Me will have the light of life. The life I give you is not of this world. It is rooted in My words and My truth. Only I can teach you My truths. This world is so full of error. Unless you keep constant in My teachings by reading My words, you will go astray. My words are the food by which you are nourished and fed. My words are your drink, they are your food, they are your all. You will run and not grow weary, you will fly like an eagle. Joy will abound in your heart and you will know that true joy comes only from Me. All other joy is momentary. My joy is everlasting and full to the brim, You, My child, can have this joy if you stay fixed in My words. Savor them and decipher all their meanings for you, this is your truth, this is your victory over Satan’s lies. This is how you will help others to know Me. Your instructions are very clear, My child. STUDY each letter and try to understand all of its contents. They are words meant for you so you can speak these truths to others. It is not by chance you were chosen by Me, My child. You are a teacher, you are convincing in all you believe in. Believe in these letters and memorize My teachings until they flow from you as from your very soul. You must put aside your doubts now. Keep these letters by your side. Your life here will be always put into perspective. You will not get caught up in foolishness, or worry for any reason. I AM HE, I AM here. Your work is clear, study and learn My words so they become engraved in you. Speak of My words to all. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and you are My messenger. I speak the truth to you that you will speak the truth to all. No time to wait, time is so short. Be busy studying My teachings now. Keep them in your purse, underline and read them again and again. These are not just for you, they are teachings of My love for all My children. Each child needs to be told about My love. Reach as many as possible through your speech. I am by your side, giving you what you need. The crooked ways are made straight, the weary are sent away in rest. Your voice will be My tool to reach many. Make yourself like jello. I will form you into what I want you to be. You must remain formless and be molded by Me. I am this close to you, My child. You will take some knocks, but you will be the key to unlock many doors. Use you I will, let all busy things behind. Focus on Me at every moment. This is My desire for you to speak My truth. I will be with you, little one, do not be afraid. I will tell you the way.

R. Oh my Jesus, how You want me to do this I do not know. Show me how it is to come about or put me somewhere and I will now study Your words for me. For He made me humble and taught me His ways, which are the only ways to go. All other ways are not of any account. His way is the way to victory, the cross that leads us to glory, joy and peace in this life and glory and salvation in the world to come. He bound up my foolish ways and taught me His truths. My tongue was made clean, and my heart was full of His love. He cast away my doubts and fears and filled me with the gifts of the Spirit. His light He shined deep into my soul and He washed me in His Blood and I was made ready to do His work, an honor that I do not deserve, but long to fulfill for Him, my God, my All, my Jesus. Him I love and He has bestowed on me a great dignity. With love and respect He clothed me and made my broken heart and soul whole in Him. I am the fortunate one to know this one, true magnificent God. I bow in awe at all His greatness.

I am in awe at His love for us all. In our lowliness and sin He reached out and clothed us with dignity and showered us with His love and we were like the flowers after the rain, blessed by Him in His greatness. We are His children, Alleluia, Alleluia. Praise the Lord. Amen.

Faith is the beginning of happiness —

We have happiness when we see
more and more the vision of God —

                This is reality.

                We hope for God!!

                    We love God for Himself
LOVE God as our lover —
Love God in His goodness —

We love God for Himself —
                Not selfish gain

God gives us a share in
                    Divine Life and Divine Happiness.

We share in God's love of
                    Himself —

                This is joy!!

                God's love is limitless
                God loves us this way
God gives us His love —

We are wrapped more and more
                    in God's love —

                Our knowing and loving
                    capacity is elevated
                    because of baptism —

We will to love God for
                    Himself — He is all
                    good —

                God is love —

The more I am one in Him —
                    saturated with His grace —
                    the more loving I am

                In baptism we share in
                    His Divine Life abundantly —
                    We know insight into
                    the hidden mysteries
                    because of baptism —

Love is a free gift from God —

Ephesians 4: 7-16

On each one of us God’s favour has been bestowed in whatever way Christ allotted it. That is why it says:

He went up to the heights, took captives,
    he gave gifts to humanity.

When it says, ‘he went up’, it must mean that he had gone down to the deepest levels of the earth. The one who went down is none other than the one who went up above all the heavens to fill all things. And to some, his ‘gift’ was that they should be apostles; to some prophets; to some, evangelists; to some, pastors and teachers; to knit God’s holy people together for the work of service to build up the Body of Christ, until we all reach unity in faith and knowledge of the Son of God and form the perfect Man, fully mature with the fullness of Christ himself.

Then we shall no longer be children, or tossed one way and another, and carried hither and thither by every new gust of teaching, at the mercy of all the tricks people play and their unscrupulousness in deliberate deception. If we live by the truth and in love, we shall grow completely into Christ, who is the head by whom the whole Body is fitted and joined together, every joint adding its own strength, for each individual part to work according to its function. So the body grows until it has built itself up in love.

Love given to us depends on God's
    generosity

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb,
the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

                There is always capability
                    of greater love

No man can love God the
way He deserves to be loved —
so we should ever strive to
                    love Him and honor Him
                    more and more —
                    it is His due

                Sin drives us from God

Part 2  11:00 am

The more we are one with God
the more deeply we can love Him —
The more we go to Mary's pure and Immaculate
Heart — the more pure love we can
give to God — hence greater intimacy
                with Him

You opened my heart God and
filled me with Your love — I was
afraid many times and those not
wanting to love picked my beard and
                said unloving things, but I
prayed for them to know Your love
                more —

Our lives are to give love to You and
others and some do not understand —
God help us spread the Blue Books so
they know how much You love
them and they are caught in Your
                embrace —

                    Oh God this is reality

                    When others are jealous and
not nice — we have to judge our
actions by doing Your will in love —
You have called us to take care of
ourselves so we can serve You —

                    Here is a little story

John, Joe and Mike were the get -
ready guys at the dealership —
Mike smoked sometimes and stalled —
Joe and John were unloving while
working some times — in the
end the car was ready for the
                customer and went out —

Well we all have a wounded
human nature and yet despite a weak
"yes" from those who could have
helped us, being too busy to
see how important this was to Our Lady's
call for peace — and the fact that Mary's image
appeared in Clearwater for 7 1/2 years —

                    Despite our deficiencies — the
                instrument Jesus wanted out to
the hierarchy and the priests — Jesus
got it ready and used us to get
this out — 2,000,000 Priestly Newsletters
and well over 100,000 books since
                August 15, 2006 and well over 6,000,000
                Priestly Newsletters in 14 years

The fact the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
live in the graced soul is beyond
                any expression —

                    We live a God-like life.
We listen to the Spirit —
The Spirit teaches us about the
                        God-like life
We live our lives after Baptism with
                        this elevated human nature —

                    Our knowing and loving capacity
                        is elevated because of
                        baptism —

                    We want to always remain
                        in the state of grace

John 10: 11-15

I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
    for his sheep.
The hired man,
since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
    and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
    and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.

The Good Shepherd gave His life
so that we may have life and have it
in abundance — Jesus came so we
could share in this life — our life in Christ.

The Mystery of Christ and
            Christian Existence

...In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ. St. Paul tells us: "I became a minister of this Church through the commission God gave me to preach among you his word in its fullness, that mystery hidden from ages and generations past but now revealed to his holy ones. God has willed to make known to them the glory beyond price which this mystery brings to the Gentiles—the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory. This is the Christ we proclaim while we admonish all men and teach them in the full measure of wisdom, hoping to make every man complete in Christ" (Col 1:25-28).

Hebrews 1: 1-2

At many moments in the past and by many means, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets; but in our time, the final days, he has spoken to us in the person of his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things and through whom he made the ages.

The Christian life is rooted in the
                    great event of Incarnation —
We must keep our focus on Christ —
realizing that the Father has spoken
to us in the life, death, resurrection
                and ascension of Jesus —

                Fr. Carter says

"It only remains for us, then, to strive
                to understand with greater insight
the inexhaustible truth of the Word Incarnate."

                Fr. Carter says

"Our incorporation into the mystery of Christ
at baptism, and the gradual maturing of that
life in the process of becoming, is centered in
                the pattern of death-resurrection.
                Indeed, the theme of death-resurrection
is at the heart of salvation history.
                In God's ongoing self-communication,
                always remembering that any form
of death — that is, any form of
suffering — is meant to lead to
                greater life, greater peace, and
                greater happiness."
(RTGL)

John 15: 11-17

I have told you this
so that my own joy may be in you
and your joy be complete.
This is my commandment:
love one another,
as I have loved you.
No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends,
if you do what I command you.
I shall no longer call you servants,
because a servant does not know
the master’s business;
I call you friends,
because I have made known to you
everything I have learnt from my Father.
You did not choose me,
no, I chose you;
and I commissioned you
to go out and to bear fruit,
fruit that will last;
so that the Father will give you
anything you ask him in my name.
My command to you
is to love one another.

My personal relationship with Jesus takes
                into account my personal uniqueness.
I am in the process of becoming —
                more and more like Christ

Like a baby coming out of the womb,
                the baby develops intellectually —
We develop more every day in our
spiritual life to be more in His
image and likeness if we stay
                rooted in Him.

1 Corinthians 2: 6-16

But still, to those who have reached maturity, we do talk of a wisdom, not, it is true, a philosophy of this age or of the rulers of this age, who will not last long now. It is of the mysterious wisdom of God that we talk, the wisdom that was hidden, which God predestined to be for our glory before the ages began. None of the rulers of the age recognised it; for if they had recognised it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but it is as scripture says: What no eye has seen and no ear has heard, what the mind of man cannot visualise; all that God has prepared for those who love him; to us, though, God has given revelation through the Spirit, for the Spirit explores the depths of everything, even the depths of God. After all, is there anyone who knows the qualities of anyone except his own spirit, within him; and in the same way, nobody knows the qualities of God except the Spirit of God. Now, the Spirit we have received is not the spirit of the world but God’s own Spirit, so that we may understand the lavish gifts God has given us. And these are what we speak of, not in the terms learnt from human philosophy, but in terms learnt from the Spirit, fitting spiritual language to spiritual things. The natural person has no room for the gifts of God’s Spirit; to him they are folly; he cannot recognise them, because their value can be assessed only in the Spirit. The spiritual person, on the other hand, can assess the value of everything, and that person’s value cannot be assessed by anybody else. For: who has ever known the mind of the Lord? Who has ever been his adviser? But we are those who have the mind of Christ.

As we go to the sinless heart of our
Mother — the Holy Spirit works
bringing us forth more and more

Excerpts from Mother at Our Side by Rev. Edward Carter, S.J.

Consecration To Christ And Mary

Pope John Paul II himself evidently realized, after inviting all the bishops to make the 1984 consecration with him, that the specific act of consecration requested by Mary was still to be fulfilled. After his own act of consecration of the world to Mary, and in words addressed to Our Lady of Fatima in St. Peter's Basilica, the Holy Father said: "We wished to choose this Sunday for the act of entrusting and consecration of the world. . .of all peoples especially those who have a very great need of this consecration and entrustment, of those peoples for whom You Yourself are awaiting our act of consecration."12

When will this specific act of consecration requested by Our Lady and Christ occur? Sr. Lucia gives us the answer: According to Sr. Lucy, God will permit the grace of the collegial consecration only "when a sufficient number are complying with the message of Fatima."13

We see, then, how extremely important it is for each of us to live the message of Fatima. If we are consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, we certainly want to do what Mary asks of us, and Mary's Fatima requests include: 1) penance 2) the daily recitation of the Rosary, 3) the five First Saturdays, 4) consecration to the Immaculate Heart.
14

...Karl Rahner, one of the greater theologians of our times, speaks to us about this association with Christ's life: "We can only get a complete picture of Christian existence, such as it is given by God and such as we should make it, if we take a good look at the whole life of Christ." Further on, Rahner reminds us that Jesus still retains the mysteries or events of His past existence: "Jesus has not lost a thing. He has not only saved His physical being intact, but everything has remained present, as it were, in its hidden, sublime essence." Finally, Rahner tells us that through our union with Christ we relive His mysteries: "In other words, just as His cross and the totality of His life have become part of our life, so also is His Resurrection a factor in our present existence."18

To end our reflection on consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, we might consider what Our Lady of Fatima said to Jacinta:

Tell everybody that God gives graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask grace from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask them to plead for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her. 19

Fatima: Call of The Immaculate Heart

God wishes you to remain in the world for some time because He wants to use you to establish in the world the devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by myself to adorn His throne. (Our Lady of Fatima to Lucia.)1

In the previous chapter we made numerous references to Fatima. Let's review the events that happened there.

Fatima is situated in Portugal, not too far from the city of Lisbon. The terrain of Fatima is hilly with numerous cedar trees lining the valleys and the hills.

In 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three small shepherd children, Lucia dos Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto. She appeared to them on six occasions from May to October. With one exception, Mary always appeared on the 13th of the month above an oak tree in the Cova da Iria. The lone exception occurred in August. During this particular month Mary appeared to the children on the 19th near Valinhos. The three had been imprisoned by the civil authorities and were thus prevented from being in the Cova da Iria for the customary apparition on the 13th.

The message which Mary gave to the children has been called her peace plan. We have given a brief description of Mary's Fatima message in the previous chapter.

Among the requests of Our Lady of Fatima is the call for consecration to her Immaculate Heart. This is her key request—all her other requests are contained in this central one. This is obvious from a reflection on what consecration to the Immaculate Heart means. It means that we completely entrust ourselves to Mary so that we may completely belong to Christ. If we thus give ourselves completely to Mary, it is obvious we are willing to fulfill the other requests she has made at Fatima.

It is extremely important that we live the Fatima message through consecration to the Immaculate Heart. As stated earlier, Sr. Lucia has said that the particular act of consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart which Mary has requested—with the conversion of Russia and world peace to follow—will not occur until a sufficient number of people are living the Fatima message. Since the Fatima message is centered in consecration to the Immaculate Heart, we see the overwhelming importance of making this consecration. (Contrary to what some believe, Russia has not realized complete conversion).

Excerpt from Mother at Our Side

by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

Mary and the Church

"Mary is present in the Church as the Mother of Christ, and at the same time as that Mother whom Christ, in the mystery of the Redemption, gave to humanity in the person of the Apostle John. Thus, in her new motherhood in the Spirit, Mary embraces each and every one in the Church, and embraces each and every one through the Church. In this sense Mary, Mother of the Church, is also the Church's model. Indeed, as Paul VI hopes and asks the Church must draw 'from the Virgin Mother of God the most authentic form of perfect imitation of Christ.' ''(Pope John Paul II).27

In this extremely meaningful passage from his encyclical, Redemptoris Mater (The Mother of the Redeemer), Pope John Paul II tells us that Mary is the Mother of Christ, that she is the Mother of the Church, that she is Mother of each of us in and through the Church, and that she is the Church's model. All of these truths are most intimately connected.

Being Mother of Christ, Mary is also spiritual mother of His members whom Christ has formed into His body, the Church. She is also model of the Church as all good mothers are models for their children. Mary, the best of mothers, is the perfect exemplar, the perfect model, of what it means to be a follower of Christ. She guides the entire Church in greater assimilation to Christ.

If we claim to love Mary, we must also love what she loves. Being Mother of the Church, Mary obviously loves her Church very deeply. As children of Mary, as followers of Christ, we also must deeply love the Church. Sad to say, there are many in today's Church who do not love her as they should.

In loving the Church which is so dear to Christ and to Mary, let us work to further the good which presently exists in the Church, and labor to correct that which should not be. Indeed, there is much good in today's Church. In many members of the Church, there is a deep hunger for a more profound spirituality. There are lay people living exemplary lives, both the married and the single, as they strive to be a light in the market place. There are religious, priests, and bishops who are working with the Holy Father to make the Church more what she should be, in this, one of her most critical hours.

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,

The Birth of the Full Ministries
of the Shepherds of Christ

"I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:

'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...

'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

'Today, then, October 13, 1994, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, marks the birth of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I pour forth the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.'

end of October 13, 1994 message given to Fr. Carter

  from Tell My People

Age of the Two Hearts

Jesus:  "My beloved priest-companion, I have allowed you to experience in extraordinary fashion the riches contained in My Heart and My Mother's Heart. I desire that you tell all My people about these riches. I desire that My people consecrate themselves to My Sacred Heart and to Mary's Immaculate Heart. My people are living in the beginnings of the age of the Two Hearts.

"After the time of the purification is completed, this new era of the Church and the world will become firmly established. This era will be characterized by the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. All those who consecrate themselves to My Heart and to My Mother's Heart will help to establish this glorious new age. I am Lord and Master. Please listen to My urgent request. Within Our Hearts you will experience the love and security, the peace and the joy, which you all desire. I love My people with a tremendous love, and in My love I give them this message!"

Reflection: This is the Age of the Two Hearts! The surest road to sanctity in these our times is through consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. In making this consecration, and striving with God's grace to live it as best we can each day, we are contributing to the establishment of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and to the arrival of the reign of the Sacred Heart.

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

  1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

  2. For the Pope.

  3. For all bishops of the world.

  4. For all priests.

  5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.

  6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.

  7. For all members of the Catholic Church.

  8. For all members of the human family.

  9. For all souls in purgatory.

Glorious Mysteries

Mary says I appear to you as Our Lady of Fatima in the Americas, for it is vital that you understand that the work that you do in the Shepherds of Christ, can help to lead so many souls to my Immaculate Heart and the Heart of my Son Jesus. In answering the call that We have given to you from Our Hearts, you're answering the call that will help bring peace to this world — to a world that is troubled and in pain, to a world that has disobeyed the will of the Father — and looked in the other direction, when clearly I have spoken over and over again in the century to tell the people that they must listen to the words that I bring as the Queen of Peace for this world.

But to you my precious ones, it is far more than you will understand, the work that you are doing, for the world has changed because of your efforts. Do not abandon the mission ever, for I have given to you great gifts in my words, that you will do the work, and that you will touch the souls, that so many of my little ones would not be lost forever. Do not turn from me.

I appear here to you, that you will know, that I speak to you this day, the same as I did over 14 years ago, asking you to begin this mission, to help to bring to completion, my mission that I began at Fatima. So many people have been touched through your efforts, and yet it is always a struggle, for the evil one does not want you to continue, in the process of spreading the consecration to Our Hearts, and the rosary in leading people to the Eucharist and to the Word, that fills them with such love for God. I am Mary your Mother, Mother of Jesus.

Jesus rose on the third day and today He outpours His life to you, my precious ones. He gives to you the grace to answer the call. He has called you to spread the rosaries to the schools, to do it faithfully, and to know that you have affected the lives of children in these 14 years tremendously. Do not abandon the mission ever, for satan wants to stop you, and yet you must be strong, and pray for the grace that God is giving to you on these 13ths and the 5ths, that lead you more and more, to help in this completion of my mission. There will be an era of peace in which the Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign, and my Immaculate Heart will reign in many hearts. Do not look at the troubled world, but look to the burning Heart of love of my Son Jesus.

Resurrection of Jesus from the Tomb

1. Jesus: I come to you that you will have life abundantly, that you will know that I fill you with My love, and that I outpour My grace and you are transformed more and more, into children of light, into giving to the world the love that comes from My Heart of love. You are My instruments that I will send into the darkness, to shine as the light, to those that are afraid and bowed down. You must say yes to the call that I have given to you, for you are the Shepherds of Christ.

2. Sing: Jesus the light of the World

R. And He came forth on the third day from the tomb. Jesus filled with glorious light in glorified wounds. Who are we that we do not recognize the might of God, for He is with us this day. He is truly present and in this church and He appears to tell us this.

Jesus: My beloved ones, I fill you with My precious grace that you will be empowered, and not afraid to answer the call, for there are so many this very day that will lose their souls. But if you say no, who will I call — My soldiers of My Sacred Heart. It is in your love for God and for others, that you will answer the call and go into the world, to feed the hungry souls, to tell them of My love for them.

3. R. And I saw the night as black as black could be. And yet in the morning the sun came across the sky with its glistening light and I saw more and more the miracle in the face of God. The gift that God has given to us, that He is light, and it is in our believing, that we will have the courage to do what He asks us to do, that we will not be consumed with fear, that we will trust in Him, that we will be so one with Him, as the bridegroom of our soul, that we adore Him and love Him, and make Him the King and Center of our lives, always knowing that presence of the Almighty God within us — His light shining within us — Trusting in Him and not fearing, because perfect love cast out fear.

4. Jesus: I am the light of the world and I am with you this day, and I have called you to My Heart, that you will know the fire as it burns for love of My precious souls, that I gave My life for, for it is death and resurrection. The more that you will believe, the more that you will be empowered to do what I have asked you to do. Believe and know My love. Come to Me before the Blessed Sacrament that I will fill you with My precious grace, and that you will proceed as fearless soldiers into the darkness, knowing that confidence within you, that I am always with you, being faithful to the mission. I love you, I love you, I love you. Do not be afraid.

5. R. I am not afraid for I have felt the hand of God, come in so many ways in our lives in these 14 years, come to strengthen us, come to lead us, come to direct us, come to send the message of Our Lady of Fatima to the far ends of the earth, as Jesus and Mary said They would do 14 years ago. As I sat on the chair at the old seminary, to watch the mystery of the Plan of the Father unfold around us, despite our imperfections and the things that we may have encountered, God did His work in using us as His instruments.

6. Jesus: And I say to you to believe, believe that you will not be put to shame, that you will not proceed — Fear — fear in your hearts? Why do you have fear, when I have given to you so many gifts and signs, and told you of My love, when you have sat back, one foot on and one foot off. I want both feet off the ground. Isn't it time that you heard the message of January the 18th of 1994? Read it again and look at all that you were able to accomplish because of My Might. And your fearful "yes-sss" that you gaaaaa-ve — and still you proceeded ahead, you worked hard, but the peace could have been so much greater in your heart, and the intimacy that I wanted to share with you, as you put one foot on and took one foot off, as you straddled the fence, as you said "O.K. Lord." And then you held back like a rubber band — Can I go back and feel the security?

What is faith My child — faith is believing. I gave to you the image in Clearwater. How was your faith? How was your faith today after the millions of newsletters that I have circulated through your hands? How is your faith today — in the building that God the Father gave to this earth, as a sign of the covenant, that God made with His people long ago, not to destroy the earth by a flood. Mary is the gift that God the Father gives. Go to her Immaculate Heart. She will lead you to the intimacy of My Sacred Heart, and you will not be afraid, for the Holy Spirit will tell you His truth, and you will believe, because you let go. Let go! Both feet off the ground. Give yourself the peace you deserve.

7. Jesus: And so you say "Well, I have spread some Blue Books. I believe that Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament." But it's a drop in the bucket, My child, for all the people that are waiting, that are longing, that are searching for My love, to know the truth that I am truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, to know the great gift of the Catholic Church, to know the truth about the sacrament of baptism. So is that what happens — people go to church on Sunday, and they think about their family and they walk out, and the rest of the week they wouldn't dare mention the Catholic faith, for they can say (which is not right, for it is relativism) "for he should go his way and it's his truth" — "and he should go his way and it's his truth".

But do you remember Paul? He was talking to you after you went to church on Sunday, and he was really questioning some things, because he was searching, and you could have given him a Blue Book, or you could have told him more about the Catholic faith, but you said to yourself "Oh but I don't want to step on his toes." You weren't stepping on his toes at all, he was asking you questions about your faith. You went behind the bush, you stood there and Paul talked to the bush. You waved a little flag and said "Oh I don't want to step on your toes, Paul." And Paul even asked you about the Eucharist. But you said, "Oh, I should respect what he thinks." But he was asking you!

Is that proceeding as a fearless soldiers when I sent them to you — when he was searching, when he was longing, when he was thirsting, when he was hungering to know about the Eucharist and My love? And as soon as he started to ask —  guess what you did — you went behind a big, round, green bush and said "Oh, yes Paul, the Catholic Church is real nice." And that's all you said! The next time I send someone to you, can you come out in front of the bush and say, "Oh Paul, I go to Mass every day and I love it so much. It's everything to me, to go to Mass and to receive the Blessed Sacrament. I live for the Mass, Paul. Would you like to go with me? Here's a book about the Eucharist. Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist."

And what about Mary. Mary is your neighbor. She use to be a Catholic. She said she really liked to go to Mass, but she hasn't been to Mass for years. So you said, "Well, I go to Mass every day and I really like going to Mass." And she says "I really liked to go to Mass when I used to go. I do miss that." And then you left it drop, like a bowling ball on your foot — you just left it drop! That's Mary's life. She's right there. She's your neighbor. She's talking to you. Where did you ever get this idea in your mind, that you should be so shy?

I have given to you the greatest gifts in giving you Myself truly present in the Eucharist. Shout it from the rooftop! Why do you not tell the people, that are hungry, that I send to you? I have given to you the Virgin Mary building, that from that place, you would tell the people of the great gift of the Catholic Church, that you would encourage those who come there, to pray for the priests, the Church and the world, that you would give to them the Blue Books, and the children the coloring books on the rosaries, that you would give to them the rosary.

"Here let me tell you about the rosary. It is so cool. Well, you know how you celebrate Christmas — well Jesus loves us so much, and that's really celebrating Jesus being born. It's His birthday on Christmas. And we say the Hail Marys and we think about that, it gives us so much peace because Jesus is God, and He loves us so much, that He came to this earth, and He was born out of love for us, and He loved us so much that He died for us. I know you don't understand this right now, but I would like to give you this coloring book about the rosary."

So many times in your hearts, there's that idea, "Oh I don't want to step on their toes", and they're asking you the very question that is the open door, and you're the one that closes it.

In baptism, My precious ones were given such gifts, and commissioned to spread the good news. I have given to you tremendous gifts in this Movement. You should thank Me for the gifts given. How would you like that, if your friend made you a birthday cake, gave it to you and you said, "Oh, I don't like the color of that icing. It could have been better, you know the consistency of it." I mixed My letters of love. I hand delivered them to you. I called you to My Heart. I gave to you My precious Movement, to help to spread the devotion to My Heart, and the love of the Heart of My Mother.

Be thankful for the gifts that you have been given. Be thankful for the grace that you have been given to love your God and to love others. Do not give into the negativity, the grumbling — like they did in the desert — they grumbled and grumbled and grumbled. Death/resurrection — in the suffering you will be brought to greater life. But you must seek and search and want — and more than anything, love Me with the deepest love — in that lies your peace.

8. Sing: One little light in the darkness, and then there were two and were three. Three little lights in the darkness, and then there were four and were more. What did you see in the darkness but a light streaming right to you.

Jesus: Let go! Your life must be lived in greater love with Me. As the world goes more and more into this tension — into the time of disobedience, satan is working in this unrest and disorder. But your strength is found in Me. Make the Blue Book your constant companion, for it is in a few words, many times, you will see through My eyes, and the world that is tainted. And satan is working to blind you, to get you to see through the tainted eyes, to block that vision of the Father's Plan. I am with you at every moment, I am with you. I am calling you and I want oneness with you, that you will be My light in the darkness in this world.

But the more that there is more tension and fighting in a world at war and rebellion, the more that is felt in the community, in the nation, in the people at church, in the stores, on the streets. Your world reflects a troubled world and you are in the midst of it. Your strength will be found in My Heart, and the Heart of My Mother. In the calling that I have given to you to spread this to a world at war — a world of disorder, a world of discomfort, a world of ignoring the laws of God, a world of disobedience to the commandments and there you are — the light, the pillar of strength in your very being, because it is that time you spend with Me, the oneness with Me all day in your heart, the realization that you are united to the Masses going on around the world.

R. And He is appearing — He's so beautiful.

9. Jesus: Why are you afraid? Because the fear that you have in your heart, is the very reason why you do not love so freely, giving into the negative thoughts of the things that will never happen. That is satan's way to block you from doing the things that you can make happen — being the light in the marketplace, smiling and knowing that I want to be one in you, and that, in that lies your strength. Read the message January 18, 1994. Come out of your tombs. Come out of your tombs! Live the life of resurrection with My life alive in you. My precious one, you are indeedly precious to Me. Let go! Let go! Let go.

10. Sing: One little light in the darkness, then there were two, then there were three. One little light in the darkness.

Jesus: Do you see the light? I do. I see the light, in the darkness, in your face, in your eyes, in your heart, in your yes. I love you so deeply. I have called you to My Movement, that you would live more the life of consecration to My Heart and to My Mother's heart, that I would outpour My grace to you more and more, as you come before the tabernacle, and you know how I long and wait for you to come. You are indeedly precious to Me. You are unique. You are My precious soul.

Sing: Jesus the Light of the World

Jesus: I appear to you in magnificent light, that you will tell them — tell them Rita, that I am with them, and I will walk with them where they go, but they must have greater faith. Pray for that faith and come to Me in daily Mass, before the Blessed Sacrament. Pray for the priests, the Church and the world and for this mission.  Glory Be

The Ascension of Our Lord

1. Jesus: Satan comes to spread his division and his darkness, and if you could see your own graced, baptized soul — oh precious one, you are a beauty.

2. Jesus: And I will bring to completion a great work begun in you, but you must believe. You must proceed ahead, as strong soldiers, knowing it is by My Might that you operate. I am Jesus, Savior of the World.

3. Song: A Song from Jesus

4. Hail Mary

5. R. And He took His Apostles up the mountain, and He was transfigured before their faces. Do you believe? Do you believe how bright the light is of the Divine Almighty God, that we would hide our eyes, for it is blinding and we could not see. And yet because we cannot see, and so many of His truths are veiled, God in His loving goodness wants to give to us deeper insight into His Divine Mysteries. And yet we are focused on the little details, the things of the gutter, the height of the grass in our yards, the leaves that are just annoying, not that those things might not be important, but if we had the same energy for the finer things, for the light that He pours into our hearts.

If we listen to the words that He is speaking to us now, if we read the Blue Books, if we read the Mass Book and the Apostles Manual, if we see for all these years how He has been talking to us, and even bringing Mary's image for 7 1/2 years to Clearwater — if we open up our eyes and we pray for the grace, from the Holy Spirit for us to see and to believe, to think positively about what we can do to spread the consecration, rather than all the negativity of a million different things that satan can tempt us in our minds to think of -- that might happen — that will probably never happen —

But will tie us up like — did you ever see a guy in some of those old cowboy movies, tied from head to toe — have you had that run away thinking from satan sometimes — 3am waking up — remember the old cowboy movies, where the guy was tied from head to toe — what about the things that you were seeing there — were they really that bad? Did they really happen? That's the time to get the Blue Book out, that's the time to pray the rosary to realize that Mary gave us the rosary to discipline our thoughts, to help us to grow more and more in the life of resurrection, to let go of some of those distractions and really meditate on the mysteries, and let the Holy Spirit work so that we will see in more truth.

We don't want to be a sitting duck in a world right now, that is filled right now with water, slushing around, to here and there, from side to side, not really moving up or down stream, just blubbering — God's way is steadfast, direct and without error. He has proved to us from the beginning of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, from the time the first newsletter went out, in July of 1994 to this time, July of 2008, that He proceeded ahead with more than 6,000,000 newsletters. Did you do that? After the newsletter was out there for 2 1/2 years, did we go down and paint Mary's image on the building, after we went from place to place trying to do the Shepherds of Christ, which united us more, but where was home, we said — where is home?

Mary said "Well, I want to appear to you." It's not because men say — "out of here my child." She says "I want to tell the world my message of Fatima." Look and see, and people would look, and they'd say, "Ah that's Mary and then they'd put their hands over their eyes, and say "Oh, but I don't want to change." How many did that? To those who answered the call, they have been blessed richly.

6. R. How many pieces of sand can you put in a thimble? Would you like to count them? Can we ever count what we do when we spread one rosary or one newsletter to a cardinal in the Vatican? How many pieces of sand can you put in that thimble? Can you count them?

7. But satan will come and say, "huh sst sst sst huh - did you think of this — sst sst sst sst- did you think of that — sst sst sst sst?

And Jesus says: Think about what you can do to help to bring to completion the mission that I began through Fr. Carter and Mary began at Fatima, for I am magnifying your efforts, and your prayers are vital to this mission. Your lives living in greater holiness. You days spent centered around the Mass and the Morning Offering. You are My soldiers of light. Say yes to the calling. Yes, to being a soldier of light.

R. And they will march across the earth, and soon, very soon, the light will steal across the sky. Do you want to be part of that? It takes one thing — commitment to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, of Hearts of great light.

8. Song: A Song from Jesus

9. Jesus: There are more and more pressures in the world, and more and more negative ways to go. The ways get more evil. And yet you must see yourself as a soldier of light. Your prayer life vital, your love for the souls that I gave My life for. For I looked out from the cross and I saw you this day, praying before My Blessed Sacrament, loving Me deeply and loving the souls of the earth.

10. Jesus: I am Jesus, the Savior of the World. If you are one with Me, you are concerned with the salvation of souls. It's in your heart, it's in everything that you think. "Oh God, how I want the souls to go to heaven. How I want the people of the earth to live holy lives, that they will go to heaven." This is your every thought. I am Jesus, Savior of the World. I came to this earth, a little baby, in the womb of Mary. And I died on the cross for My precious souls.

If you say you love Me, and you do not think about your brothers or their salvation or pray for them, or pray for the priests, the Church and the world — are you thinking only of your own salvation or that of your family. I died for all My precious souls. Consumed with love, I mounted the cross, I shed My blood and I died. As you meditate on this mystery, meditate on the Apostles in the field, they were filled with fear and they saw as I ascended into heaven.

Pray to the Holy Spirit to come to you so that you too, will be transformed from fear to fearlessness, and that you will know the truth, that He will impart to you. For the more you know the truth, the more you will proceed steadfastly ahead. You cannot know the truth, the truth of how souls are dropping into hell like rain, and close your eyes and focus on your own chair.

It is in identifying more and more with me, that your lives will be lived for the salvation of souls. I loved My precious souls, that I shed the last drop of My blood, and gave the last beat of My Heart. As I hung on the cross, I looked from the cross and I saw you here today, loving those souls I died for. In this age, in this 2008, you said, "God has Me on this earth today, to do the work, to help the souls to go to heaven. He called me by name and He saw me, the soldier of light, alive today, loving Him more and being led by His hand, both feet off the ground."
