Genesis 3: 9-15

But Yahweh God called to the man. 'Where are you?' he asked. 'I heard the sound of you in the garden,' he replied. 'I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.' 'Who told you that you were naked?' he asked. 'Have you been eating from the tree I forbade you to eat?' The man replied, 'It was the woman you put with me; she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.' Then Yahweh God said to the woman, 'Why did you do that?' The woman replied, 'The snake tempted me and I ate.'

Then Yahweh God said to the snake, 'Because you have done this,

    Accursed be you
    of all animals wild and tame!
    On your belly you will go
    and on dust you will feed
    as long as you live.
    I shall put enmity
    between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring and hers;
    it will bruise your head
    and you will strike its heel.'

Luke 1: 26-38

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.

                Adam was naked —

                After he sinned —

                Adam said

                    "I was afraid because I was naked,
                            so I hid myself"

                God said

                    "Who told you that you were naked?"

                The New Adam came in poverty in the stable —
                    stripped of material goods —

                    God is good
                    God is perfect —

                He needed not the riches of the earth —
                Jesus, the all perfect, Almighty God came
                    bare

                The New Adam —
                    mounted the cross naked

                On January 5, Jesus said

                God's ways are direct

                God chose us to be holy it says in Ephesians

                Jesus showed us how He obeyed His Father's will —

                God wants truth

                Not excuses —

                We are imperfect and we struggle with the
                    tendencies of the wounded human
                    nature —

                Trying to prove we are right when we are
                    wrong is how satan tempts —

                The movies are hurting the people of the world
                    when they
                    charge money
                    lure us with popcorn and treats
                    to what
                    Watch a movie that turns
                        "right to wrong" and "wrong to right" —

                Satan is deception —
                Satan tricks people —

                They can lie and
                Jesus says are fools — covering up their sin
                    they think from God — is like Adam
                    hiding in the garden from God —
                    These men like Adam hiding in the garden
                    from God when Adam sinned.

                I want to speak of impurities and need for
                    change —
                    a person that isolates and feels safe
                    only by themselves —
                    When put in with others sabotage
                    that event so they can return
                    to what is safe.

                Say I was called to do the Sidney rosary —
                    and we all were praying —
                    it feels safe —
                    we get the grace to pray —
                    someone may convince themselves
                    they are sick to isolate

                A person who doesn't feel safe in a certain
                    setting — may scan the place when
                    they arrive and develop some
                    reason why they can't stay —
               
                    the tension is in them —
                    what is normal to them which
                    is in fact not normal is not being with
                    others — so they can say they are
                    sick and actually make themselves
                    sick — think they smell something
                    burning and need to leave — etc. —
                    create some scenario so they are
                    in what is normal to them
                    ALL ALONE — Everybody needs sometime
                    alone, but God wants us to walk hand-in-hand —
                    in unity as a family in love

                These people may have trouble in a little
                    place — like a car with others —
                    they don't want to get in it and
                    can start a fight over combattal
                    remarks — intended to cause a
                    flare up —
                (causing a  fight can setup an invisible wall,
                if they are afraid, they have isolated themselves
                and feel safer with the invisible wall)

                Mary Lou may say — "Oh did you put out
                    the garbage?"
                    Her husband can make a smart
                        remark to make her look
                        silly over anything —

                    She leaves crying

                Is this being united
                No — he didn't want unity

                Another person wants nothing to do with
                    anyone and feels comfortable in tension —
                    anger — combat
                    They use things, information needed
                    by another as 'power' to make them
                    beg — keep coming back — The person
                    with the 'power' is acting impurely —

                They may get pleasure provoking, controlling
                    others —
                    they are tempted by satan and
                    now it is a habit — this "ring-around-
                    the-rosey" approach they use and
                    never intend to deliver the goods —

                The impure actions of the person seated in
                    control is not holy —
                    they set fires where they go
                    they do the work of satan

                Satan is disorder

                Do you think it was easy for Christ to
                    come and die on the cross —

                The man seeking holiness wants God's will —

                He acts as Jesus would in him —
                He wants order
                He wants holiness

                A person that provokes another is doing so
                    for some sick impurity inside —
                    is seeking isolation, disunity, power (dominance over another)
                        JUST PLAIN DISCORD

                God's ways are pure

                Mary lived to serve God

Luke 1: 46-55

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
    all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
    has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
    and to his descendants for ever.

                Mary said at the Marriage of Cana
                    "do whatever he tells you" —
 

                Sin is sin
 

                The devil told Eve in the garden — "oh you
                    don't have to obey"
 

                Eve sinned
                Adam sinned

                From the moment of conception every human
                    creature except Mary was marked with
                    original sin

                How impure have you allowed your
                    tainted vision to be

                I remember talking to a priest about
                    the set-up I was experiencing
                    when I tried to get a simple job
                    accomplished

                He said to me

                    "Rita, what happens when you go in
                        the boxing ring?" — I said
                        "You get beat-up"
                    He said — that right you can't go
                        into the boxing ring —

                    What you are experiencing is craziness
                        with people who want to hurt you using
                        a job as 'power' to act out their own anger
                        and need to control and manipulate
                        making another suffer for they feel bad.

                When others have darkness inside — they can
                    use passive-aggressive ways to
                    manipulate others —

                They can project their anger and hurt on
                    others trying to get them to act
                    out their pain —

                God's ways are holy
                God's ways are love
                God's ways are for us to not be selfish

                God doesn't want us to get dominance
                    provoking others

                This is a weakness of the garden
                    seeking dominance for dominance sake

                Do you know someone who attacks with
                    a smart remark before you hardly
                    talk because they want discord —
                    this is a bad unholy habit — Not like Jesus —

                Do you ever go to the eye doctor?
                    He tries the lens, one after another
                    "Is this better, is that better?"

                The vision that we must see in life
                    is through the eyes of God
                    The Father's vision

                God the Father speaks:

                For I created the world for My purpose —
                    Through your tainted vision
                    your actions become impure and clouded

                Seek to see through My eyes
                    to love with the Heart of Jesus
                    to serve as Christ dying upon the cross
                    the perfect Son of God
                    who came to show the way

                Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the life
                    Pray to see through the Father's eyes —
                    the vision of the Father
                    What is better is seeing through the Father's vision
                    for tainted man
                    "Is this better or is that better"
                    You are to be molded into My image and likeness
                    Molded means there is a dying off —
                    a dying off to a greater life in Me

                Far as the stars in the sky
                    the might of the Almighty God is endless
                    You see through limited minds
                    You are so narrow-minded
                    Pride is the enemy of your soul
                    You compare your knowledge —
                    to think you can stand next to mine

                Or you have missed the Source
                    its liking throwing away the baby with the bath water
                    the bath water exists to wash the baby
                    you make the bath water more important than the baby

                One by one the daisies were placed before the throne of God
                    the gift given — Eternal life
                    for a life lived according to the Father's will in love
                   
                Does anything but this make sense
                    for senseless man
                    who is under the plan of the Creator
                    All depends on God
