Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Little Baby Hands and FeetR. Mary held the little baby Jesus and Mary held His lifeless body under the cross.
Mary watched her Son suffer in the bitter passion.
Simeon foretold.
Song:
Song:
August 27, 1994 - After Communion - Priests’ Residence Chapel
Her Face Tells The Story Of The Horror She Saw
R. Mary, so young and beautiful, her beautiful young face, her bright eyes. She looks so tenderly at the Baby Son and His beautiful eyes.
Her face, her horror, her sorrow, looking down at the lifeless body of her Son. Her face tells the story of the horror she saw. Once a Baby, bright and beautiful, His body now bloodied, her beloved Child dead in her arms.
His side a bloody mess where He was lanced. His hands were pierced. His feet were pierced. The nails and the crown, now removed. All that remains are holes and punctures. Her precious eyes behold this sight, the dead body of her Baby.
I keep seeing the faces, the face I saw on the statue, the joyful face, the young face, the sorrowful face that looked as if it would crack, all glistening and aglow to accent the event.
Do we listen? Do we see? Do we feel? Do we know that Jesus is still pouring out His love this very day? This is the same Mother at our side. This is the same Jesus I just received in the Eucharist. He gave Himself then, He gives Himself now to me, in Holy Communion!
When will I let myself feel His true Life within me? When will I hear His plaintive cries that He loves us so much to have died for us? When will my heart be open to this reality? Life is a fleeting moment and the reality is that this same Jesus enters my soul in such love this day!
Do I hear Him? I, who hear His words, take so lightly this tremendous love. Do words even exist to describe this love? Is "tremendous" a word that sums up the love He has?
He says He is a furnace burning for love of us. These are words. These are not sufficient to explain His love. He shows me, in the face of Mary, the reality. He has truly given His very own flesh, His very own Blood. He was human. He gave Himself. He gives Himself to us this day.
I hear His pleading cries after Communion, "I give you Myself. Tell them, tell them."
And they run, they run to do useless tasks and He is still in their bodies.
Jesus: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. I am He whose bootstraps you are unworthy to fasten and I, God, come to you in such love and you treat Me so coldly. Tell them My beautiful child, listen to My words, tell them with your whole heart what you experience here. I am God and I love them so much.
It is in meditating on My passion, on My Mother's sufferings, you will know of the intensity of Our love. Love is not described in words, love is felt in the heart. You must feel the mysteries of the rosary in your heart. To love Me is to live in Me. Live in your heart Our love for you. Feel the mysteries of the rosary. This is only a foreshadowing of the love I have this day for you.

The Seven Sorrows
1. The Prophecy of Simeon
Mary, Joseph and the child Jesus went to the temple. Simeon, the prophet, inspired by the Holy Spirit, met them and told Joseph and Mary of the great sufferings of Jesus and Mary. He told Mary that a sword would pierce her heart. From that point on, Mary ever remembered the prophecy of Simeon whenever she beheld her child. When she looked at His little body, even as an infant, she knew He would suffer. Every time she clothed Him and watched Him at play, her heart was torn in her chest as she knew what He would suffer. And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!
2. The Flight into Egypt
Joseph was told by the angel to flee. Joseph, Mary and the child Jesus had to flee because of what might happen to Jesus. They had to pack for a long stay. The child Jesus was so small! They left on their journey, hearts full of fear, trying to protect Jesus. They were forced to flee into Egypt.
3. Jesus Is Lost, In the Temple
Imagine the sufferings in Mary's heart when she realized the child Jesus was not with them. Think of how it would be to lose your child and not know where he was or if anything happened to him. With sorrow in their hearts, Mary and Joseph returned to Jerusalem to look for the child Jesus. And a sword, too, shall pierce your heart, O Mary!
4. Jesus Carries His Cross
Song: See the eyes that look at Mary, her tender infant child. See the child's Heart beat so tenderly, the Savior of the world!
See the eyes of Jesus and Mary as they met on Calvary. Mary's Heart knew Jesus' Heart so well! From the first moment of conception and throughout His life, Mary was so connected with Jesus and now she peered into His eyes. The crown of thorns adorned His Head! Blood ran down His face! A heavy cross on His back! Wounded, His whole body covered with bleeding wounds! And her whole life flashed before her, the life that she had spent with Jesus. This was the beloved child that she had held in her arms when Simeon told Mary that 'a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!'
5. Jesus Dies on the Cross
Mary stood under Jesus' cross as He was put to death. The child that she had held in her arms as Simeon prophesied, And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary! Now Jesus is dead on the cross! He gave His flesh, He gave His blood so that we might be with Him forever in heaven. He held not back. He gave His all. He calls out to us this day to see through the eyes of His mother as she appears and calls out with a Heart of great love, "Return to the love of my Son! He is with you this day. He remains with you, no less present than the day that He hung on the cross, in the Eucharist. He longs for you to come and be with Him. He is in your brother. How can you not love your brother when Jesus died for your brother?"
Her Heart was pierced with a sword. His Heart was pierced with a lance. What came forth was blood and water, the sacramental life of the church. He lives with us this day in the Church. He gives to us His sacraments, the source of His life! He gives to us the Sacrament of Penance whereby any sin that we commit can be taken away through the priest. He wants us to be so close to Him! He gives us everything to be close to Him. But we see with such limited vision only those things that are right before our face, when the true reality is that which we don't see with our eyes, the reality of the invisible divinity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in the consecrated Host! This is reality! This is our life! This is our power! This is God! And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!
6. Jesus Is Taken Down from the Cross
If we ever doubted for one second that we were loved, we could visualize the picture of Mary as she sat beneath the cross with the lifeless, battered, bruised and bloodied body of her Son in her arms, the same child that she held when Simeon prophesied her suffering. He gave His last breath. He gave the last beat of His Heart. He gave His all! This is the way He complied with the Will of the Father. He came to show us the way. He died in perfect peace. To His death He was in peace because He knew the Father's love. The Father loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son for love of us! The Spirit descended upon the Virgin Mary and the Word was made flesh! The love of the Two Hearts! Such immense love beating for us!
In all love there is suffering. Her Heart was pierced with a sword. His Heart was pierced with a lance. And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!
7. Jesus Is Locked in the Tomb
And now Jesus, His body lifeless, is locked in a tomb! What cold reality for Mary to realize that His body is now gone! A stone separated her from her Son!
He gave His last breath! He gave the last beat of His Heart for love of each one of us! And she comes to us this day with her sweet, beautiful voice and she asks us to go to her Son and love Him! How can we refuse Jesus who spread His arms and gave His life for each and every one of us? How can we not trust Him when He loved us so much that He allowed them to tear His flesh, to crown Him with piercing thorns and, lastly, to hang Him on a cross? He truly gave His life for us! He, truly God, is with us this day, the same as the day He died on the cross, in the tabernacle! And we take it so lightly! Death has no power over Him! Locked in the tomb for three days, He rose triumphant on the third day as He had foretold. He comes to give us life. He gives us the sacrament of Baptism that initiates us into His life, that makes us children of God and heirs of heaven if we remain in the state of grace. He asks two things: love of God and love of one another! He came to show us the way and His way is love. To His death on the cross He loved each one of us! He calls out to each one of us here today to be His soldiers, to march on a world that has forgotten God, that has forgotten what it is like to love! It is a battle to live in this world. But the battle is won with hearts that are filled with His love, empowered by the grace and might that He pours out in the Eucharist. He calls out for us to come to the Eucharist and to the tabernacle and be fed with His very flesh and blood. To feed on Divine Life, the greatest nourishment, the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God! This is the love He gives. This is the love He asks us to share.
Glorious Mysteries
The Resurrection
- On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead as He had foretold. Death has no power over Him!
- They had rolled the heavy stone in front of the tomb and His enemies believed that they had won. Jesus was locked in the tomb! These are truly the Glorious Mysteries for He rose triumphant on the third day!
- Mary Magdalene and some of the others went to the tomb. When they arrived, they saw the stone had been rolled back.
- Come Holy Spirit, fill us with the fire of Your love. Pour out to us Your Divine Love, Your Divine Life, so that we may partake more and more in this life and be raised to eternal life in heaven.
- Jesus walked with two disciples on the way to Emmaus and recounted for them all the scriptures in the Old Testament from the time of Moses that referred to Him.
- They did not understand that Jesus would die and then rise again. They did not recognize Him after He rose. You might think, 'oh, so blind were they! How could they not recognize Jesus?' But Jesus is in our midst this day. He is present right here with us. He is present in the tabernacle. He is present in us and in our world and the world continues to go on its way in blindness.
- Take the blinders from our eyes so that we may see more and more with the vision of God. As we unite with You, lead us ever closer to the vision of God.
- He gives us sufferings. He gives us trials. He allows all that happens to us to happen. It is in acceptance of all that He allows, and in focusing on Jesus, that we will have new life, new life in Him! He is forever present and forever ready to pour out to us His life in abundance. But we must realize that the way to Him is to follow Him. He came to carry His cross. He suffered and died so He could bring us new life!
- Song: I know Your love a little now, so dear You are to me. Come give me life, abundant life, I thirst to be with Thee.
- Who are we that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son into this world and His Son died on the cross for our redemption? Now He rises on the third day to bring us new life. He gives to the apostles the power to baptize and to forgive sins. It is through baptism that we are made children of God and heirs of heaven. We are given new life in baptism!
We are on a spiritual journey. We are reborn in baptism as little babies on our journey, and our mother is our Spiritual Mother to lead us on our way to closer and closer union with Jesus, her beloved Son!Song between decades: Come Holy Spirit, fill our hearts. Enkindle in us the fire of Your love. Come, Holy Spirit, fill our…
The Ascension
Jesus took the apostles out to the town of Bethany and gave them His final blessing and left them in His peace. The ways of God are the ways of peace. The more we realize the immense love that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have for us, that the three Persons are truly inside of us when we are in the state of grace, the more we then realize that no one can take away this indwelling of the Trinity within us. The more we pray and stay connected to Them, the more They lead us to peace. Peace, joy and happiness come from the realization of the presence of God within us!
We walk this barren land not alone. We walk with the presence of the Trinity inside of us. We are temples of the Holy Spirit. It is in the realization of this divine gift that we are given that we will have peace within. As we look at Jesus all though the passion, the look of peace is always on His face, even though He suffers, because He knows the Father's love.
Satan tries to distract us, tries to make us think ill thoughts. It is only in trusting God, in turning over entirely to Him our wills, our lives, our whole being, that we can have peace. It is in living in the Father's Will, in doing what He calls us to do, that we will have true happiness and peace.
These are the Glorious Mysteries! Jesus truly rose from the dead! Can we even comprehend that a person who died could rise from the dead? This alone shows the magnificence of God's might!
And the glories that followed! He raised His arms and ascended upward into the clouds. The apostles, as they looked from below, were awestruck to see Jesus go upward into the sky, into a cloud which took Him out of sight!
They who walked and talked with Jesus, who were by His side, were filled with fear. As they were filled with fear, we should be gentle with ourselves when we are full of fear inside. We should realize that it was only through the power of the Spirit that they were transformed from fear to fearlessness. Almighty God can take us from the depths of doom and raise us to such immense heights, but it takes our will of surrendering to Him, of focusing on Him, of doing always the Father's Will, of living in the Father's Will as children who are being obedient to their Father.
Song: I come to you with greatest love, I am your loving Savior. I am your God, I died for you. I come to you this day.
Nothing feeds the hungry soul but the love and the life of God!He came to give us life. He nourishes this life with the Eucharist. This is Jesus truly present in His divinity and humanity. He feeds our life through His own flesh and blood! He feeds our life in Him through the divine love that He has left with us. He feeds this life through the Church, through the sacraments. He gives us the sacrament of penance whereby all our sins can be taken away through the power of the priest. God is so good to us that He truly feeds our life in Him!
Song: I Am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me shall not hunger. He who believes in Me shall never thirst.
He, God, lets us partake in His divine life, in His divine love, and He nourishes us with His very own flesh and blood!

The Descent of the Holy Spirit
The apostles were full of fear and they locked themselves in the Upper Room. Jesus had told them that they would be baptized by the Holy Spirit.
They were locked in the Upper room with the Virgin Mary and there appeared over their heads parted tongues of fire and the Holy Spirit descended upon them. Mary is the mother of the Church. She is our spiritual mother. She is the mother of Christ!
Mary is our model. She is the spouse of the Holy Spirit. It is in modeling ourselves after Mary that we become more and more like Jesus. Mary, help us to love you, to be drawn ever closer to you. Dear Spirit, please transform us in the Heart of Mary into the image of Jesus so that we may be ever closer to our beloved Father.
It is through Mary's pure and tender Heart that the Spirit transforms us more and more into the image of Jesus!
Dear Spirit, give us courage to go out into this world and preach the Gospel as did the apostles, who were filled with such fearlessness. These were the same men who, out of great fear, had locked themselves in the Upper Room. The key is the Spirit! Transform us, Spirit, please! Give us the courage to do what the Father is asking us to do: to help carry out the Gospel to the world, to help to spread the love of Jesus!
Please outpour Your Spirit onto this Center. Please let this Spirit dwell in us!
Let those involved in Our Lady of Light Ministries and the Shepherds of Christ Ministries be filled with the Spirit so that it is the Spirit that moves in them, that draws them ever closer to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Christ, the Son of God!
Transform all who are here to have the courage to carry out the worldwide plan that the Father has set before us. He Who has chosen us to be the Apostles of the Sacred Heart, to go into this world to spread the love of Jesus' burning Heart. May the Spirit move in each and every soul and draw souls ever closer to the Eucharist. For the power is truly in the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Christ, the Son of God!
Song: Come Holy Ghost, Creator blest, and in our hearts take up Thy rest. Come with Thy grace and heavenly aid, to fill the hearts which Thou hast made, to fill the hearts which Thou hast made.
And He gave to them the Eucharist to feed the life that He had imparted to them, and the Spirit moved within their souls to lead them ever closer to the love of God so that this love could radiate from their being and be seen in the world.

The Assumption of Mary into Heaven
Mary was taken up into heaven, body and soul!
But she remains with us this day. She is our spiritual mother. She is the mother of the Church. Jesus is alive in the Church today.
Oh, how our mother is so much with us this very day!
Dear Mary, hold in your Heart all the especially anointed priests of your Son, Jesus. Hold them in your Heart and, through the Holy Spirit, lead them ever closer to the Eucharistic Heart of your Son, Jesus.
It is through the pierced Heart of your Son that the sacramental life of the Church was born-through the water, which represents baptism, and the blood, which represents the Eucharist. We are given life and we are fed. Hold the Church, and all those who minister there, in your Heart. Hold them ever close to you for you are their mother. Mother the Church! Hold them so close to you! Guide them! Protect them! Lead them through your spouse, the Holy Spirit, filled with the fire of God's love, into this world in which the Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be triumphant!
Help us in the Shepherds of Christ to carry out whatever is the Father's plan for renewing the Church, for spreading the love of His Most Sacred Heart to many people in the nursing homes, in the prisons, throughout the world. Give us the courage through the Holy Spirit to spread the love of the Two Hearts in this world that is in darkness.
Dear Mary, help the priests, your beloved priest-sons, to realize the great mission to which the Father has called them. Help them to lead the flock to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Christ.
Help us to be proud to be a part of your Church, to be a part of the living Body of Christ alive in this world today.
The Church is the Body of Christ. He is the head and we are the members. We are all one in this Body of Christ. Unite us ever closer with you, Mary, mother of the Church. Lead all in the Church to the most burning love of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Christ, the Son of God!
Oh no! Mary has not left! She is truly here in our midst! She is mothering us and she is mothering the Church!
Song between decades: Come, Holy Spirit, fill our hearts…
The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth
There appeared in the sky a woman, clothed with the sun. The moon was under her feet and there were twelve stars about her head.
Mary is Queen of Heaven and Earth! The Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph on this earth!
There will be an era of peace. Peace is only found in God and in doing His Will. We must turn our hearts back to God, follow the Ten Commandments, do all that He is asking us to do, say we are sorry for our sins and draw our hearts into union with the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
We are the children of the Father! Jesus loved us so much that He gave His very life for us. We are the favored children created uniquely by the Father and He cares for us this day with great love. Lead us ever closer to union with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit through the Immaculate Heart of our mother Mary!
Song: Hail, holy queen enthroned above, O Maria! Hail, mother of mercy and of love, O Maria! Triumph, all ye Cherubim! Sing with us, ye Seraphim! Heaven and earth resound the hymn, Salve, salve, salve, Regina!
All souls are joined in the Church with the souls in purgatory and with the angels and saints in heaven. We are all one in His Body. Let us love God, for we are children of God. We are brothers in Christ!
Help us to see more and more the big picture. Help us to let go of little details and see more with the vision of God all that we need to see to do His work here on this earth-to let go of the little daily distractions, but to see that we are His soldiers marching on a world that is godless. Help us to realize that souls are at stake and that Mary and Jesus are calling us to be these soldiers to spread His love.
Who are we that God is so good to us?
Mary, our Queen, lead us ever closer to Jesus' Heart. Be with us as we walk with Jesus on Calvary. Be with us and lead us to everlasting life so that we may one day be united with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit forever and ever.
May the saints and angels guide us on our way to eternal salvation. May we know God more and more. May He outpour His love on us, His beloved ones. We are His and He loves us so much!
Song after last decade: Come Holy Spirit, fill our hearts...
Song: Holy God, we praise Thy name. Lord of all, we bow before Thee. All on earth Thy scepter claim. All in heaven above adore Thee. Infinite, Thy vast domain, everlasting is Thy reign. Infinite Thy vast domain, everlasting is Thy reign!
R. Jesus carried the cross.
He loves us even when we are sinners.
He wants us to not offend Him.

Consecrate Your Churches, Home, and Workplace to Our Hearts
Jesus: I want you to consecrate the human race to Sacred Heart of Jesus. I want to be enthroned in all homes, churches, and businesses.
June is the month of the Sacred Heart. I want to be king and center of all hearts. I will keep My promises given to St. Margaret Mary of Alacoque. I promise all this from My most Sacred Heart. Consecrate your chapter to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Consecrate the church or room in which you hold your meeting.
Today is First Friday. I want you to circulate the message I gave to you on consecrating your homes to My Sacred Heart. Make booklets available for people to be able to consecrate their homes and businesses easily. Use the message I gave to you when you consecrated your home.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph. Consecrate all homes and businesses to Our Two Hearts. Tell all to have displayed and honored, pictures of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. May and June are the months of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Tell all to consecrate their homes to Our Two Hearts. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. On this day, the 5th of May, 1995, First Friday, I request that you spend the next two months encouraging all to do this consecration.
Gather your friends and say the prayers I have instructed you to say. Sing "To Jesus Heart All Burning" and "Immaculate Mary." May these Two Hearts of love give all members of the human race peace, joy and love in their hearts.
R. Jesus said He desires to be honored by men in the Blessed Sacrament.
Jesus: Circulate the Blue Book messages. They promote this devotion. How My Heart is filled with happiness by the souls who come to the tabernacle and sit with Me. I am Jesus Christ, I wait and long and thirst for My precious souls to come. The souls of men have turned cold. I want souls to come to daily communion and be with Me in front of the tabernacle.
Men's hearts have turned cold. They do not know what love really means. I want hearts that are filled with fire for love of God. Men's hearts have turned to stone.
You are to promote devotion to My most Sacred Heart. I want hearts that burn with love for My Heart. It is through Me that you will know the Father's love. I am the Way, I am the Truth, I am the Life.
Offer a holy hour for the indifference, ingratitude, and sacrileges committed against Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, the Sacrament of His greatest love.
R. He promises great graces to those who give reparation to His Sacred Heart and who tell others about offering reparation to Him. end of May 5, 1995

From the Lectionary
Pentecost Sequence
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
And from your celestial home
Shed a ray of light divine!Come, Father of the poor!
Come, source of all our store!
Come, within our bosoms shine!You, of comforters the best;
You, the soul's most welcome guest;
Sweet refreshment here below;In our Labor, rest most sweet;
Grateful coolness in the heat;
Solace in the midst of woe.O most blessed Light divine,
Shine within these hearts of yours,
And our inmost being fill!Where you are not, man has naught,
Nothing good in deed or thought,
Nothing free from taint of ill!Heal our wounds, our strength renew;
On our dryness pour your dew;
Wash the stains of guilt away;Bend the stubborn heart and will;
Melt the frozen, warm the chill;
Guide the steps that go astray.On the faithful, who adore
And confess you, evermore
In your sev'nfold gift descend;Give them virtue's sure reward;
Give them your salvation, Lord;
Give them joys that never end. Amen.
Alleluia.

R. Let the thoughts be positive.
My God help everything in my brain and body to work toward health.
God gave us a beautiful body.
The brain is the pilot. Let it be filled with light and healing energy.
God gave us this beautiful machine to operate through life.
Our eyes help us see.
Our brain helps direct the body.
Our ears give us hearing.
Our arms and legs help us live, maneuver.
Oh God thank You for all You have given us.
You gave us breath for our body.
You gave us organs to operate, so we can live.
You gave us cells to reproduce, a skeleton and nerves.
You gave us blood and a system to maintain life.
Oh God thank You for the peace we can have, the interior life, the brain to think,
the heart to love.
Oh God thank You for the world with such beauty, the sky, the rolling hills and mountains, lakes and streams, the ocean so wide and beautiful.
Oh God all the animals, fish, greenery and flowers.
So much beauty, God.
God is love.
God gives us each other to love, to know, to be with.
God gives us our family to love, to be with.
Oh my God, You are so good to me.
My God, Thank You.
I love Thee so.
God is love and in Him is no darkness.
God loved us into existence. God wants us with Him.
Pure and perfect love.
Thank You God for this day and all it brings.
I love You.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15 |
Guiding Light — The Word Alive in Our Hearts. — Cycle A (partial) Homilies by the Reverend Joe Robinson given at St. Boniface Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is a tremendous honor Fr. Joe has allowed us to share these great gifts with you – for greater holiness and knowing more and more about God. $10 |

Priestly Newsletter — 2000 #1 — CD. — Christ is Our Strength — Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our—selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10 |
