Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Bitterness can be deep and
triggers can get at that root
of bitterness, that lurks
beneath the surface.
God teaches us we are to
live the Father’s will.
Acting out anger on
innocent others is bringing
a clogged pipe down on
our life. It’s hating ourselves
deciding we can punish
others for our deadly sins.
Trying to block God’s will
for others is raising
ourselves in pride before
God.
We are to give love and
accept love God wants
others to give to us.
Order is the tranquility of
peace.
God’s will must be our top
priority if I want to grow in
the spiritual life.
Jesus was a baby and
Simeon told Mary and
Jesus of the sufferings to
come.
Transition, Jesus would
pass over to His death on
the cross.
The cross leads to life.
Transition - dying to our will
to have the life of
resurrection.
Dying to our will, to live in
the Father’s will.
Love is giving to promote
the good God wants for the
other.
The 3 loves - we can’t leave
any out.
Loving God, others, self.
Loving self is living God's
will.
Loving.
Giving and receiving.
Dying to willfulness, to live
God's will.
Surrender.Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.
-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994
R. Living the ordinary life.
Jesus lived the hidden life,
Rahner says for 30 years.
Living the mystery of Christ
is living the hidden life, the
public life.
Living - is in Him - the
Christ-life,
A life of living and loving
God's will for us.
Living the life so we can go
to heaven and helping
others go to heaven.
Mary, our model, taught us
joy is in living God's will in
love - not fighting God's will
like Eve did.
We must pray for healing of
the family tree. Some roots
of bitterness, jealousy,
envy, anger, punishment,
disobedience, family
division, go back
generations thick.
The Christian family has a
responsibility to reflect
Christ and His cause to the
world. We pray for our
ancestors and healing and
blessings for generations to
come.
We are here to seek healing
and live in holiness and
purity, reflecting Christ's
love and obedience to the
Father's will.
There are many things in
our lives we need God's
help to change - we are
constantly asking for God's
help to be what He wants
us to be.
Pray for families, bad habits
are like poisonous roots,
they can go back
generations.
Families need the Sacred
Heart and Immaculate
Heart!!!

R. This picture needs to be in
every home.
To Jesus, through Mary's
Immaculate Heart.
Clearwater
Mary was taken body and
soul to heaven.
Our goal to go to heaven,
and help in the work of
Redemption (Blue Book 11).
Mary is first and most
perfect disciple of Jesus -
perfect handmaid of Jesus.
Our true home is in heaven.
God made us for this, living
according to God's plan for
our lives.
Response in Christ - Chapter 4 by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.Excerpt from
“How does the Christian help Christ redeem the world? (Henceforth the term “world” is to be understood as including both rational and nonrational creation.) As previously stated, the Christian helps Christ redeem the world by reliving Christ’s mysteries. The same “events” or mysteries which accomplished the objective redemption further the subjective redemption also. Since at the heart of Christ’s mysteries are His death and Resurrection, it is especially these that the Christian must relive. As the Christian dies mystically with Christ through loving conformity with the Father’s will, he rises with Christ to an ever greater share in the Resurrection, in the newness of life, in the life of grace. As the Christian in this manner relives the paschal mystery of Christ, he is accomplishing not only his own redemption, but he is also, in a mysterious yet real manner, helping Christ redeem the world.”
R. Jesus heals.
We need to depend on
Jesus.
Jesus died doing the
Father’s will for our sins.
The cross leads to life!
Simeon told Mary and
Jesus the sufferings to
come.
Jesus died on the cross for
our sins to raise us to
greater life in Him!!!
Death/Resurrection the
Pascal Mystery.
Fr. Carter says:
Christ perfectly fulfilled the
Old Testament theme of
death-resurrection. In
doing so, He was
experiencing a religious
transition. He was passing
over—gradually, at first, and
then definitively in His
death—to a new kind of
Existence, to the life of
resurrection. He achieved
this life not only for himself
but for us also. To achieve
this new life of resurrection,
Jesus was willing to pay
the price. Jesus was willing
to suffer to His death for us.
Hope!!
Hope is free!
Honesty helps us dance.

And Mary said:
My soul proclaims
the greatness of the Lord

in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
to those who fear him.
2. Luke 1: 39-45
Mary set out at that time and went as quickly as she could into the hill country to a town in Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’
3. We see Mary teaches us a lesson on humility. Mary knew without God
she was nothing.

God's Kingdom on earth.

The Birth of Jesus
1. Colossians 1:15-20
He is the image of the unseen God,
the first–born of all creation,
for in him were created all things
in heaven and on earth:
everything visible
and everything invisible,
thrones, ruling forces,
sovereignties, powers—
all things were created through him
and for him.
He exists before all things
and in him all things hold together,
and he is the Head of the Body,
that is, the Church. He is the Beginning,
the first–born from the dead,
so that he should be supreme in every way;
because God wanted all fullness
to be found in him
and through him
to reconcile all things to him,
everything in heaven
and everything on earth,
by making peace through his death
on the cross.
2. The world belongs to Christ.
3. Christ came, the Son of God, born in a stable in Bethlehem.
4. Christ is our Savior. We live the Mystery of Christ in our lives.

2. Romans 6:3-4
You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father’s glorious power, we too should begin living a new life.
3. We see the Pascal Mystery: Death/Resurrection.
4. Luke 24:25-26
And he said to them, "Oh how foolish you are! How slow of heart to believe all that the prophets spoke! Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer these things and enter into his glory?"

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
