Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our new president as he takes office. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

15th Sunday in Ordinary Time
July 13, 2014
Isaiah 55, 10-11; Romans 8,18-23; Matthew 13,1-9 or 1-23) In today's first reading, the prophet speaks to God's captive people in Babylon(Iraq). After 50 years God began telling them, through the prophet, that their years of captivity and slavery to the Babylonians would soon be ended. They would be able to return to Israel, to their cities, their homes and their farms. Many doubted this could be true. In today's passage God is assuring them his promise will be fulfilled. God compares his word to the rain and the snow. When God sends moisture to the earth, it does the work of keeping the world green and alive. When God sends out his word, it is not full of empty promises; it is effective and powerful and is able to accomplish what it was sent to do. God's word was true, as roughly 50 years after the exile, the Persians (Iran) destroyed the Babylonian empire and allowed the Jews to return home. In today's gospel parable we are presented with another way of thinking of the power of the word of God: as a seed.INTRODUCTION – (
HOMILY –
A family were on vacation, and as they rode down the highway there was a big sign that read: Road Closed. They maneuvered around the sign and continued on. Suddenly the road ended and there was an even larger sign: "What part of 'Road Closed?' didn't you understand?" (Reader's Digest, Laughter Really is the Best Medicine, pg 171) In today's gospel Jesus tells us that's why he uses parables, to help those who have trouble understanding his teachings understand what they need to know to be saved.Today and for the next two Sundays we will hear several of Jesus' parables about the kingdom of heaven. Today's parable and the explanation that goes with it is very clear. God's word is like a seed which can produce life, but if it falls on deaf ears, it produces nothing. It was what Jesus experienced as he traveled from one place to another, teaching. Certainly from the time of Adam and Eve there have been people who hear God's word, and they respond to it like the hardened earth, or stony ground or ground thick with weeds.
A good story, however, can often have several interpretations. So I wish to suggest another way we can look at the parable, a way that might enhance our own spiritual growth. Instead of thinking of the field as all of human kind, think of the entire field as representing just yourself. If I see just myself as the field, I see that sometimes I am closed to God's word, sometimes I get very enthusiastic but my enthusiasm has no depth, sometimes my life is so cluttered with things I have to do or want to do, that I have no time left for God. But sometimes my heart and mind is like the rich soil, and I take God's word in and serve him genuinely and faithfully. Looking at the parable that way, I see in myself hardened paths, stony ground and weeds, but I see also good soil. And I see I have the freedom to determine how well God's word will take root in me by changing what I can in my life so there is more good soil in my heart and mind for the seed of God's word to fall upon.
As we pray today, let us ask God to help us see where in our lives God's grace is having a hard time taking root. Amen.
R. God is just and merciful.
God loves us so much. God has
infused in our soul at baptism
the supernatural virtues of faith,
hope and love.
We can pray and know what
God is telling us to do. We can
do it, when God wants us to do
it. We can ask ourselves why
we would do anything but God's
plan for us because we are
His – He created us for a purpose
to know, love and serve Him.
We can believe. That takes faith.
Can anyone accomplish a thing if
their attitude is to prove it's a failure.
God is light and in Him is no
darkness – not a speck of darkness.
God is love. When a person with
their free will opens up to let
satan tell them what to do in
pride and anger and envy,
jealousy, slothfulness, hatred –
and they keep pushing themselves
more and more away from God
in the deadly sins and disobedience
against the 10 commandments –
How could they have happiness
when happiness is in God.
We see in the homily the story
where Jeremiah delivered the
message God gave and the King
refused to listen.
In the end Babylon took
over, the Jews were persecuted
and held in captivity. God gives
us a free will to obey His
commandments, to obey His will
for us or to disobey God, the
commandments and rebel
before others and God in
doing our will opposed to God.
Love is giving freely for the
glory of God. A person rebelling
willfully against God is choosing
that decision.
God wants us eternally with
Him in heaven – seeing in
the beatific vision. Seeing
as God wants us to see means
we take on the mind and
heart of Christ.
R. God is light and in Him is no
darkness. God is love. God
wants us to know He created
us and He does not make junk.
He created us a gift to be
given.
R. God is constant. God is –
God is Light, beauty, love –
The devil is hate, darkness, lies.
Jesus is the light of the world.
His light never dies even when
men do things in darkness.
On July 5, 2017 the sky was
red when I did the rosary and
the fire of red was around
the moon – like the fire
of Jesus' Heart – on fire
for love of men.
Two men looked out
prison bars – one saw
mud, the other stars –
Did you ever think how
beautiful the blue sky is
with the top of the trees
against it and how ugly
a man is in a muddy ditch.
Living in God is giving –
it's an act of the will to
want to give to others.
It is an act of the will to
give love. God commands
us to love. Love is giving for
the good of the other. God
gives us His law of Love –
God created man in His image
and likeness. Man is a unique
gift God has given in love to
the world.
The beatific vision in
heaven is being wrapped in
the embrace of love of God:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We are to prepare for
heaven in every act we do
here below.
A person that acts out past
wounds, can act out on
innocent others their dysfunction
and then trying to force others
to put up with their erratic
dysfunctional behavior and
insist in pride they are right
when they are clearly disobeying
God and hurting others in
hateful ways.
We are to see through the
eyes of God – we are to live
by the will of God and
prepare for the eternal
reward here below by being
as God wants and doing good.
Giving into sin and living
to continue forcing or trying
to force others to put up
with our evil is wrong.
To oppose God is misery.
God created us, brought us into
existence in love – why would
we oppose God and stoop
to serve satan.
God created us in His
image and likeness. We are
a unique gift given to the
world as we live in God's
will in love.
I have a free will to
obey God's law of love or
to rebel against God and
serve selfishly after satan.
Life is to learn to grow
in relationships in love –
Life is given to us to learn
to love.
God has all the Power –
We believe in our whole heart
in God who has all the
power.
God is holy and great –

A Prayer for Grace and Holiness today
A prayer to work in love and holiness

He will give it to you"R. God wants our unity – we ask for this
unity – that the Spirit of God fill
us and help us to be holy –
that we do not hold onto any of the deadly
sins that block us from this unity –
that the Holy Spirit can work in our souls,
so we can be His instruments of love
and peace and joy among our brothers.We pray this heavenly Father in the name of
Jesus who said ask in my name and
it will be given to you.Let us experience the joy of unity and love
on a supernatural level and know You
our beloved God – more and more supernaturally.
We want our hearts to be sanctified in
our love and work so we are holy and
pleasing to You God.Come to us Lord and possess our soul.
We want to walk as God intends us
to walk today in the plan of God,
in the work He has called us to do today.We know that we must cooperate with the grace
You are giving us – now and today to
bring unity and peace and love to this
day as we serve to do the work – You are

Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"
Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.
Prayer:
Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with your gifts of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety, and fear of the Lord. As we dwell in the Heart of Mary, Your spouse, fashion us more and more according to the Heart of Jesus.
