Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Jesus took Peter, James and John in the Garden.
2. They fell asleep.
3. Jesus woke them 3 times and told them to pray.
4. Jesus had the most perfect, loving, giving heart.
5. Jesus told them to not give into themselves.
6. The Angel came to comfort Jesus.
7. Jesus was perfectly aligned to the Father’s will.
8. Jesus said: "Not My will, but Thine be done."
9. Jesus knew all He would go through in His Divine knowing.
10. Jesus said “yes” in the Garden - Jesus is the New Adam.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Jesus was arrested. Jesus was whipped,
    scourged, they did this to His body!!
    Jesus bled.
2. Jesus is a Divine Person with 2 Natures:
    A human nature and a Divine nature.
3. Jesus is our Savior!!
4. Jesus came and He suffered for our sins.
5. Jesus’ flesh was torn for our offenses.
6. Jesus is the Son of God.
7. Jesus is God!!
    God is love.

8. 1 John 4: 12-16

No one has ever seen God, but as long as we love one another God remains in us and his love comes to its perfection in us. This is the proof that we remain in him and he in us, that he has given us a share in his Spirit. We ourselves have seen and testify that the Father sent his Son as Saviour of the world. Anyone who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him and he in God. We have recognised for ourselves, and put our faith in, the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Jesus did not come a high and Mighty King!!
2. Jesus came a little baby in a stable.
3. Jesus came humbly!! Mary is our Mother.
4. Today, Jesus comes humbly in the sacred,
    consecrated host.
5. Jesus is truly with us today in the sacred,
    consecrated host in His Divinity and humanity.
6. This realization of what the true presence of Jesus
    in the Eucharist should be evolving more and more all the time.

9. Matthew 11: 28-30

‘Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.’

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Jesus carried the heavy cross, laden with our sins!
2. Jesus is the Good Shepherd, He laid down His life for the flock.
3. Jesus did the heavy lifting.
4. We must surrender to Him.
5. Deeper love in Him only comes in surrendering to His will in love.
6. If we refuse His will, we are the ones “taking more in for ourselves.”
    In emptying ourselves, even in suffering and fear, we can know
    His touch filling us for obedience and love in surrendering to Him.
7. I know His love abundantly in surrendering in love to God’s will,
    in emptying ourselves of my will and living by His will - He is in charge,
    He can fill me when it’s His agenda. (and I am empty, not full of me, my way).
8. When I am full of my will opposed to His will, I am full and I am in charge.
9. Come to me Lord and Possess my soul
    I want to have my life in You.
    Amen, Alleluia!
    Life is in Him!!
10. Dear God help me to be sensitive to Your true presence in the Eucharist.

The Crucifixion

1. Song: A Song from Jesus

2. The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary, sacramentally made present.

3. Matthew 26: 26

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples. ‘Take it and eat,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’

4. Matthew 26: 27-29

Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, ‘Drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. From now on, I tell you, I shall never again drink wine until the day I drink the new wine with you in the kingdom of my Father.’

5 A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

    Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.

    I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.

    Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.

    Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.

    Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.

    Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

        Jesus saw Mary’s Face - March 12, 2025

This is the face of Mary Jesus saw on the way to
Calvary.

Can you imagine His sufferings, falling under
the cross, as He did? Can you imagine His exhaustion
and then looking up and seeing Mary’s
beautiful face?

Jesus’ love in one heart with Mary, His childhood,
His life seeing her every day in all her
beauty in oneness with God.

Can you see Mary, in tears on the way to
Calvary - bitter and sweet - invisible
wounds in her body and heart?

Can you imagine the union of their eyes, the
union of seeing the other’s face?

Can you image the tender invisible bleeding
heart of Mary at this moment?

And Jesus was comforted and saddened by her
eyes, her heart crying out to Him and her face -
Mary’s face!!!

Oh, my beloved Mary, my Mother, I try on this
journey the Father has me on, sometimes so saddened,
and then in it, I know my love for God
that deepens, in suffering, I am so comforted by
priests celebrating the Mass at that very moment.
I stop and unite in that moment to the Mass
going on around the world. My beloved Jesus suffered
and carried the heavy cross in love for us.

I see His face of anguish and know His breath of
love.

I know the face of Jesus, like Mary saw Him, bitter,
sweet, suffering, austere suffering for me - the
Church - the world and I know His breath,
breathing love to us with all His Sacred Heart on
Fire for love of Man - breathing love -

9. Jesus saw Mary’s Face continued

The Fire of the love of the Sacred Heart - never
goes out - never, it is Divine, Omnipotent, ineffable
love.

It is the love He had when He died on the cross
on Calvary.

The Father tells us “Listen to the voice of the
Good Shepherd - at the Transfiguration the Father’s
voice - Listen to Him!!!!”

Listen to the voice of Jesus. Jesus is the Resurrection.

John 20: 22-23, 26 After saying this he breathed
on them and said: Receive the Holy Spirit.
If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven; if
you retain anyone’s sins, they are retained.

Eight days later the disciples were in the house
again and Thomas was with them. The doors
were closed, but Jesus came in and stood among
them. ‘Peace be with you,’ he said.

And He breathed His glorified love to us.
Oh God, fill me with Your love, I am weak, You
are strong.

Galatians 2:19-20 St. Paul: “I have been crucified
with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but He
who lives in me.”

The Church has been built up and will continue
to be built up by the blood of the saints!!!

Death / Resurrection

Sing song: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord!! (Few Thoughts 4)
See the face of Jesus and Mary as they saw each
other on the way to Calvary.
And this love is real for us - the love of the Two
Hearts!!!                                March 12, 2025

10. Mary’s Message

Mary stood beneath the cross of Jesus, her
heart was in such pain for Mary saw Him before
her eyes. Mary saw Him covered with blood.
Mary saw Him die. Mary’s heart, must have felt
as if it would break to watch her Son. Mary’s
heart must have suffered for her little children of
the world that give in to this world and give up
the love of Jesus. Mary wants us to carry
the light, to the darkness. Some children
do not care and will lose their souls. Many
reject Mary. We are Mary’s children of light.
