                September 13, 2010

Jesus: I have called you to
the altar of the Lord —
                    to serve Me and
to be humble and loving servants —

Do not come to My altar in
                    your anger —
                    and offer a sacrifice
                    with hateful hearts —

Come in the purity of love
that you may be blessed and
                    pray for forgiveness

                Let your hearts be
                    soft and supple to
                    serve Me in
                    great holiness

                To serve Me as I
                    deserve to be
                    served —

                For what good does
                    it do for a man
                    to win the world and
                    lose his soul —

I call you to love and
                    sacrifice —

                To live purely —
                Your commitment is
                    to love God first
                    not power —
                    not affection —
but to live to serve God
                    1st in your lives —
                    to do God's will in
                    love —

I died for your sins —
I died doing the will of My
                    Father

I show you the way —

                Follow Me and you
                    will have the light
                    of life

                A portrait of Jesus

                I am love —

I tell you I love you!

I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

I am on fire for love of you!

I remain in the Eucharist to be
with you with My ardent love.

I love you so, My dear and ardently
                    loved children.

I remain with you in the Blessed Sacrament.

I am the same Jesus Who died on
                    the Cross, a brutal death.

                R. In one paragraph of God's Blue
Book I see the portrait of
Jesus — A picture of Himself for
                    our fearful hearts —

Within us all is a little
child who came into the world
and when we were so very cute
                and lovable — adults like
us today cared for us and were
                imperfect, afraid etc. —

And as we grew others we
                came in contact with were
                imperfect too and we experienced
hurts to our little hearts —
so sweet and ready to love —
then others came and took our
                parents time and because of
                our woundedness we could have
                been jealous, envious to
                share them with others —

Did you ever see a dodgem -
car — It goes on a little
                flat surface and has bumpers
and then some bump it purposely
and laugh and they do it real
hard too and what kind of
bumper car are we going through
                the days of life —

My heart is a heart God made
                for love

                    Listen once again to what
                Jesus says —

Jesus: Do you know I am truly
                present in the Eucharist?

Do you know I wait for
you every day — all day —

Do you even comprehend a minute
                    amount of My love?

You will never know how I
                    love you on earth.

                Are you searching with this
                    little wounded child of
                    the past — driving your
                    little heart.

                Were you the oldest?

Were you sort of forgotten in the
                    middle?

Did they really learn how to love
                    you because you were the
                    youngest?

Did you have one parent who
ruled with an iron hand and
                were you taught living was
                their relationship which was
                painful because they never
said they were sorry after all
                they did and never helped
                heal your little dodgem car
wounds — and now you act
                out that unfinished business
on others — trying to fit
                authority into mom and you
                become the little girl once
again, but you are holding out
                to punish mom etc. —

Let's read what Jesus put in
                yesterday's message about freedom.

Freedom

March 2, 1994
At Cathedral After Communion

Jesus: I want you to love Me as I love you. If I asked you to lay down your life for Me, you would give this freely of yourself. I need this surrender from you that you put Me above all things--not some things, all things. I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have any gods before Me--not your husband, your children, your life, your house. I want your total surrender! I am not asking you to give these things up. I am asking you to love Me more than any of these things, that you are willing to give them up for Me!

This is freedom. When your love is for Me and Me alone, no one has any control over you. You live for Me and I am Almighty. I love you with the most ardent love and you know all that comes from Me is from Him Who laid down His life for you.

Do you love Me? Would you lay your life down for Me? If you love, you give of yourself. Do you love each other? Do you give of yourself to one another or do you have relationships that give to you? This is not love. Love gives from the heart. Love is for the good of the other. I gave My life for you that you might live. Follow the Master. I did not die for any of My own gratifications, I died to show you how I loved you! I gave My only life for you. I love you this much!

I call you to love. Love is action from your heart. Do you love Me this way or do you just do busy work and call it love?

To learn about love you must come and be with Me. Sit and let Me teach you My ways. I sit with My red garb, covering My white tunic, you at My feet and I teach you ever so sweetly each day. You are My beloved ones. I died for you. I give you this same love today. Love gives to the other. Do you give this kind of love to Me and your brother or do you ask what others and I will give to you?

You do not know love if you do not come and you are not taught by Me. I am the author of love. I teach the mighty lessons of love. I died out of love for you.

You cannot love intimately if you hold back. To love Me, you must totally surrender, surrender all you hold on to. People do not love Me because they want to hold back. If you want intimacy with Me, you must be willing to surrender your all to Me.

Are you willing to do this? This is where the power is. When you give your all, I possess your soul and I am all powerful. I want your all, not little pieces you stingily let go of. I want your all. Then you will have an intimate union with God. Then you will live in His love and be powered by His might. Then you will be free. I will operate you and you will be united to Me as one. What power, God dwelling within your breast and acting from your soul! Become selfless and unattached to anything. I am God and you shall not have any gods before Me!

Surrender

March 10, 1994

Jesus: This is surrender. I want your all. I do not want you attached to any person or any thing. I want you completely dependent on Me. Do I teach you such lessons on how attached you are to others and things? I have all the answers. If I do not tell you, you do not need to know. You want your will. My will I make known to you in front of the tabernacle. I have spoken here.

Surrender is doing the will of God and it is not your deciding and doing your will. I want your all. I want you to do those things the way I tell you. It is not the way you want to do them. Sweet surrender, only to find I want more. Look at My position on the cross. Did I ask you to die for Me? I ask you to do My Will. I ask you to surrender. I ask for time in front of the tabernacle. I ask for love. Watch this world go up in your face. Then where are your possessions, the things you held on to? You only have limited vision. I know all things.

I am so tired. You do not give but bits and pieces. You hold on to what you want and give Me some. I want your all. I want total surrender. I showed you how to surrender when I died on the cross. I am not asking for this. I am asking for you to do My will. You are so attached to pleasing people that you do not see the whole picture. I make My ways clear here. You do not listen. You do what you think is a good thing and you do not even come to Me. I want your all. I want surrender.

R. Love includes giving up what you don't want to give up. Love is saying, "Yes, Lord", even when you would rather do it your way. It is in your surrender and love of God that you teach mighty lessons to those around you. You teach by your being in love with Jesus. I love you, Jesus. I give of My bounty, not little bits and pieces I stingily let go of. Jesus, my Lord, my God, my All, how can I love You as I ought? Do I give My all, or do I say, "Oh, Lord, you can't mean that you want this," and hold on to what I want.

Do I hold on to people and don't even know it, or do I put You first, Lord, above all persons, places and things? I see how really attached I am to everything, things I do not even know I am attached to. It is easy to give lip service to surrender and tell God to possess our soul and make me selfless, but do I really mean it? This is what keeps us from increased union with Him! It is in total surrender, of living for love of Him and Him alone, that we are free. And what freedom! The bittersweetness to let go, to find freedom from all we hold on to! The things we hold on to most are what keeps us from our increased union with Him.

"Oh, not that, Lord! Oh, do I look at your crucifix and see You letting go?" You held not one thing back. Your arms open wide, nailed to the cross! Total surrender!

What does He ask of me today that I want to hold on to? Holding on to things stops my freedom. To be totally free, I must let go. I cannot hold on and let go at the same time. Freedom is obtained in letting go. See yourself with your arms tight, holding on to all you possess.

Jesus: I call you to surrender. Open your arms as I did when I died on the cross. Let all your sacred worldly possessions drop around you and you will experience the joy of being free, united only to Me, of letting go and knowing that I, God, tend to your every need. To My death on the cross I loved you and I love you this way this very day. Let go and give it all to Me. I will care for you far better than you could for yourself. I am God and I love you more than you can love yourself.

Jesus is dead, hanging on the cross, arms outstretched. His feet are not even on the ground. He is hanging by nails on a piece of wood. What do we hold on to? He wants us in midair in total surrender. Oh, little ones, how you squander your possessions. How you hold on to people. How you won't let go. See Me in total surrender.

I gave My very life for you. What do you hold on to, My little ones? Little bits and pieces you give to Me and you hold tight to your lives. They will be up in smoke and all that will remain will be the things of God. Not one pair of shoes do you take with you, only your love, given to God and others.

And I see from the introduction
                    of Blue Book I

Jesus: Surrender this life to Me —

Pray the Prayer for Union with Me —

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

Jesus says in the Introduction to
                    Blue Book I
"I want to possess your soul"
"I want to operate from your
                        very being"
                    I am Jesus.
I am the Son of God.
I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
                    I am Who Am —
I died and rose on the 3rd day.

                And Fr. Joe says:

Excerpt from the 3rd Sunday of Advent - December 17, 2006

In the few minutes I have, let me name some of the things that keep us from having joy:  * Feeling sorry for oneself.  * Constantly putting other people down to make ourselves look smarter or better.  * Putting ourselves down all the time.  Because we’re human we all make mistakes or do wrong and there are healthy ways of dealing with guilty or shame, but constantly beating ourselves up is not one of them.  * Holding on to anger and resentment.  It only eats us up inside and does not produce joy.  We have to forgive.  * Thinking that having more things is going to make us happy.  It satisfies us only momentarily.  * And then there’s fear and worry.  Paul says have no anxiety at all.  That might sound impossible but there are so many things that cause us anxiety, which we can do nothing about and we have to leave in God's hands.

If self pity, guilt, unforgiveness, anger, resentment, fear, and worry work against our having joy, then what will lead to joy?  We must decide to be joyful.  Paul tells the Philippians “rejoice” as if it is something for them to choose to do rather than it being something that just happens to them.  I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.  Dr. Hans Selye, the scientist who developed and researched the concept of stress, would agree.  He said:  it’s generally not the things outside of us that create stress for us, but it’s the way we respond to these things.  Next we need to be good and to do good.  Otherwise we won’t feel good about ourselves.  The people in today’s gospel ask the Baptist, “what should we do?”   John gave them a few specific ideas.  All we have to do is read the gospels or the 10 Commandments and we’ll get the idea that there’s more to a good life than just to say, “I believe!”  Lastly, I think gratitude is the final key to unlock the way to joy.  And again, being grateful is an intentional thing, it is an attitude we must develop.  St. Paul said: “in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.”  A heart that is ungrateful is not happy.  This is not all that could be said about joy, but it’s probably enough for us to think about today.

My closing words for today are don’t make yourselves so anxious this season that you lose the joy that can be found only in knowing Jesus’ love.  “The Lord, your God, is in your midst.”

Philippians 4: 4-5

Always be joyful, then, in the Lord; I repeat, be joyful. Let your good sense be obvious to everybody. The Lord is near.

Rejoice in the Lord always, again
I say rejoice! The Lord is near.

Hope is the opposite of despair —

                Escaping reality —
                    zoning out from pain —
clutching it like a baby doll —
                    using addictions to numb
                        the pain —

Hope knows how to handle depression —
Hope — Hopes in God —

God is above the earth and its
                    traumas

                Hope

                What about someone with
                    terminal cancer

Dear God — Save us from our own
                    despair — free choice

Dear God — Give us Your grace

Isaiah 35: 1-6, 10

Let the desert and the dry lands
    be glad,
let the wasteland rejoice and bloom;
like the asphodel, let it burst into flower,
let it rejoice and sing for joy.
The glory of Lebanon is bestowed on it,
the splendour of Carmel and Sharon;
then they will see the glory of Yahweh,
the splendour of our God.
Strengthen all weary hands,
steady all trembling knees
and say to the faint–hearted,
‘Be strong! Do not be afraid.
Here is your God,
vengeance is coming,
divine retribution;
he is coming to save you.’
Then the eyes of the blind will be opened,
the ears of the deaf unsealed,
then the lame will leap like a deer
and the tongue of the dumb sing for joy;
for water will gush in the desert
and streams in the wastelands,

For those whom Yahweh has ransomed
    will return,
they will come to Zion shouting for joy,
their heads crowned with joy unending;
rejoicing and gladness will escort them
and sorrow and sighing will take flight.

A poem of joy and hope

"Say to those whose hearts are
                    frightened: Be strong, fear not!

Here is your God, he comes
                    with vindication."

The vision of today and always —

                        JESUS!

                Despite the Babylonian rule —
they say a ray of hope —

"Then the eyes of the blind be
                    opened — The Lord gives
                    sight to the blind"

This is the gift of the Incarnation —

                God comes the light of
                    the world —

                Jesus:
                    Rejoice Oh Israel —
                    Your light has come
                    I come to give you
                        My love

Here are My letters of love
Here are My letters of hope

Blue Book II

Blue Book III

Blue Book IV

Blue Book V

Blue Book VI

Jesus: Let your hearts not be troubled
for I am with you in
                    all your trials —

My life I give you —

I have talked to you these
19 years and look at how
                    My work has unfolded
as you wrote for Me -
                    In saying "yes" to
                    My call to you —

Matthew 11: 28-30

‘Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.’

Sing: Come With Me into the Fields

My light is dawning for those
                    who embrace it —
                    When I open the door
                    and you close your
                    door — you miss
the bridegroom of your soul —

And I give to you My sweetness
and My love in all the pain
                of adversity.

                    My constancy is forever with
                you that you would know
                My love.

For when I called the 13th
it was a major part of My
                Plan and connection with
                My Mother's apparitions
                at Fatima —

The mystery is Mine and I reveal
to you the mystery of My
                love and My Heart —

To those who hold onto their
                games they have angered
My Father far more than you
                know and the reparation I
ask of you is for their sins —
                to plead for stubbornness —
                wrought in anger and hatred
                when I have blessed you
all so much — more than any
group I have given you this
                mission to serve Me.

                    I love
                    I love

I love My souls that will
be lost — Oh My child do not
                abandon your mission ever for
I am with you — this day and
                always —

Cling to Me in your trials and
know how I love you, always —
                Make reparation with a heart
of love — realizing this day there
are so many souls who sin habitually
and give into satan for no reason —

I call and I ask them to respond
for the sake of souls — To pray
to do reparation for the men who
offend Me — I give hope to
                those who suffer —

I call you to love —
To say no — to deceive another —
to play games of hide and seek
is to try to get power

I came the little baby in
                Bethlehem to open your eyes
to the beauty of life — life
                in Me —

Matthew 11: 2-11

Now John had heard in prison what Christ was doing and he sent his disciples to ask him, ‘Are you the one who is to come, or are we to expect someone else?’ Jesus answered, ‘Go back and tell John what you hear and see; the blind see again, and the lame walk, those suffering from virulent skin–diseases are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life and the good news is proclaimed to the poor; and blessed is anyone who does not find me a cause of falling.’

As the men were leaving, Jesus began to talk to the people about John, 'What did you go out into the desert to see? A reed swaying in the breeze? No? Then what did you go out to see? A man wearing fine clothes? Look, those who wear fine clothes are to be found in palaces. Then what did you go out for? To see a prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet: he is the one of whom scripture says:

Look, I am going to send my messenger
    in front of you
to prepare your way before you.

'In truth I tell you, of all the children born to women, there has never been anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet the least in the kingdom of Heaven is greater than he.

                R. Faith in God —

When we believe in Him and
we trust in Him — we
                    have great peace and
love is in our hearts —

Jesus: My child do not worry for the sins
of the wicked for hell is full of
men who sinned against Me and
                were, indeed, choosing eternal
                punishment by the grave evil
                they did —

I come to call sinners to repent
and to live by the Gospel —

                    Let your hearts be hearts
of love — I came to this earth
a baby out of love for My precious
                souls —

A man was an artist in a
circus and was to step through
a hoop of fire — when he did
                the crowd cheered and all
                clapped —

Woe to a man who tests
the Lord so as to think when
he tried Me I would not see
the wrath in his heart with
his actions — He will step in
a hoop of fire and never return —

I have blessed you all and
given you these gifts to serve
Me in one accord and in great
love — with joy and humility
in your hearts as Mary, the
perfect handmaid of the Lord —
her "yes" to God was her life —
her willingness to serve the Father —
I died on the cross doing My
                Father's will —

A lake had a boundary and
when one bathed in it he was
refreshed in the Lake of Hope —

                    When one tries the boundaries
                and pushes them back and
back — soon there is nothing
at all — for rules are rules
                and you can't obey and
                disobey at the same time
as many are pushing My rules
away as if they do not exist and
I gave Moses the 10 Commandments
                in stone —

You can test your God, but
                the commandments remain —

                    Adam and Eve disobeyed and
you bear the effects of this
                sin —

Oh child, I am a just
                and loving God —

It is My love that keeps
                you in existence, but I
am not a push over for
                My rules —

I speak and you are to obey
                as God tells you —

                    Children who eat Marshmallows
                day long have rotted their
                teeth —
                the choice is yours —

                I give you a free will —
                To serve Me
                To love Me
                To obey Me

Luke 2: 7

and she gave birth to a son, her first–born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the living–space.

                    Those who are committed to
Christ and put Him first in their
lives — live to please Him
                because of Love —

It is in the heart to serve
God or to serve oneself and
                men —

                Love means giving of
                    self —

                Self-giving is the source of
                happiness, but it means
                sacrifice —

Psalm 86: 3, 5

take pity on me, Lord,
for to you I cry all the day.

Lord, you are kind and forgiving,
rich in faithful love for all who call upon you.

Jeremiah 20: 7-9

You have seduced me, Yahweh,
    and I have let myself be seduced;
you have overpowered me:
    you were the stronger.
I am a laughing-stock all day long,
they all make fun of me.
For whenever I speak, I have to howl
and proclaim, ‘Violence and ruin!’
For me , Yahweh’s word has been the cause
of insult and derision all day long.
I would say to myself,
‘I will not think about him,
I will not speak in his name any more,’
but then there seemed to be a fire
    burning in my heart,
imprisoned in my bones.
The effort to restrain it wearied me,
I could not do it.

  Romans 12: 1-2

I urge you, then, brothers, remembering the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, dedicated and acceptable to God; that is the kind of worship for you, as sensible people. Do not model your behaviour on the contemporary world, but let the renewing of your minds transform you, so that you may discern for yourselves what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and mature.

Matthew 16: 21-27

From then onwards Jesus began to make it clear to his disciples that he was destined to go to Jerusalem and suffer grievously at the hands of the elders and chief priests and scribes and to be put to death and to be raised up on the third day. Then, taking him aside, Peter started to rebuke him. ‘Heaven preserve you, Lord,’ he said, ‘this must not happen to you.’ But he turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle in my path, because you are thinking not as God thinks but as human beings do.’

Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him renounce himself and take up his cross and follow me. Anyone who wants to save his life will lose it; but anyone who loses his life for my sake will find it. What, then, will anyone gain by winning the whole world and forfeiting his life? Or what can anyone offer in exchange for his life? ‘For the Son of man is going to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will reward each one according to his behaviour.
