Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. August 23, 1993 - Message from Jesus

On His Passion

Jesus: My dear child,

I was condemned to death, death on a cross. They gave Me a big cross and made Me carry it. They stood around and glared at Me. It weighed on My shoulder and I pulled at it until it finally moved. Every step was almost impossible as I dragged it, weighing so heavily on My shoulders.

My shoulder felt as if the bones inside would crack and the cross would fall through to the ground. I couldn’t drag it any more. I tried, I fell. I fell and its weight fell on Me. A guard hit Me with something sharp. It really hurt because he wanted Me to move, and fast! People were watching — on with the show! How dare I fall in the middle of the show! He hit Me again and the blow really stung Me. I got up because it hurt so badly. I tried to walk on.

My Mother was in the crowd. She looked at Me and her face looked red and hurt. Tears rolled down her cheeks like rain and as her eyes met Mine, I was hurt so by her sorrow! She was always by My side, silent and loving. She was My Mother of love! She is always there next to you when you suffer.

I fell again and he (the guard) really hit Me. It (the cross) was so heavy that he and I together could barely move it. It seemed as I walked, heavier with the sins of the world heaped on it. My hands were bleeding. Blood ran from the wounds of My thorns and My head throbbed, seeming to make the wounds in My head bleed even more. Some of the Blood was dried, some of it running all over My Body. I had so many cuts and bruises — and people watched and laughed!

I am Jesus, Son of the Living God, and they laughed and mimicked Me! Oh, such hardened hearts! How vile can men’s hearts become? The devil’s grip is paralyzing and crippling.

The walk was so long up a hill and over rocks — the cross had to be lifted over the rocks. My Body was bleeding so badly! My Heart was pounding. I knew that the salvation of all men depended on My love. Therefore, I went through such agony.

I thought of My intense love for you — that many would go to heaven because of My suffering — and I continued to the top of the hill. At the top they laid Me on the cross and with a big hammer nailed My hands to it. It was the worst (suffering) yet. My hands were nailed with big nails and the big hammer. Then, as if that weren’t enough, with a big nail they nailed through both feet.

Then they lifted the cross and banged it into (a hole in) the ground. My shoulders ached from how I hung. My head bobbed and My neck ached and they laughed and said, "Now save Yourself." I hurt so much! I suffered this way for hours — which seemed like forever — and they glared at Me and laughed! My Mother watched in such agony.

For love of you, to My death I gave you My Body. My child, I shed My Blood and gave you My life that you might be with Me forever in heaven — not for a day, a month or a year, but forever with Me in heaven.

I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My Flesh will have life forever. For the drink I give you is My Blood and food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend? I did, for you. I love you this much, child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I gave you and I give you life eternal.

I am the One true God. I am the Light of life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body. Drink and eat and have everlasting life.

My child, that is all you need to know. Love one another and be good that you may enter into My Kingdom.

Jesus is Crucified and Dies on the Cross

R. Will we stay fixed to this world or will we die to ourselves and give ourselves to Him? He gives Himself to us. Jesus gives us himself in Communion. When we unite to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, being offered throughout the world, we unite to this sacrifice of Himself to the Father. Let us unite all of our actions with Him. We live His life, death and resurrection in our lives. We give ourselves to the Father and everything that we do is magnified. Everything becomes the greatest prayer when we unite with Him in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world in our Morning Offering.

Spirit Song: Jesus, O Jesus come and fill your lambs

1. R. Jesus hung on the cross. Jesus surrendered. Jesus breathed His last breath. He could have, at any moment, stopped what was happening. In His Divine knowing, He knew when He took the second last beat of His Heart and He surrendered, and He gave His all for He did it for me.

2. Jesus: Are you cold? Are you hungry? Are you scared? I live within your heart. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell within you when you are baptized and in the state of grace, in a special way. Come to the deepest recesses of My Heart. Do not be afraid for I am with you forever and ever and ever. There is nothing to fear for if you stay rooted in Me you will never die.

3. R. Jesus gave Himself for me and He gives Himself to me today in the Holy Eucharist. Jesus feeds me with His Body and His Blood. The life that I received in Baptism is nourished by Him. He gives us His Body and Blood. This is the intimacy - Jesus gives Himself to us in a way that is much more intimate than any human could give themselves to us. Jesus gives us His Body and His Blood.

4. R. Jesus wants this spousal relationship with us. Jesus is the Bridegroom of our soul. The most attentive Bridegroom - that knows all the desires of our heart, that knows all about us far more than we know about ourselves. When we go to this interior dwelling, dwelling in His Heart, He imparts to us knowledge of Himself and knowledge of ourselves that no other person can tell us, knowledge in our soul.

5. R. I place myself in the heart of my Mother and I give myself to her for she is the Mother of my spiritual life. I feel, in the heart of Mary, this transforming action of the Holy Spirit and I am plunged into the inner cavity of Jesus’ Heart, the endless abyss of God’s burning love, and it is there that I unite to the Father and I am engulfed by the presence of all Three Persons, united to Mary and there is no fear, for to be touched by love itself, this helps cast out fear. Jesus says: I am the way, I am the truth and the life.

Jesus: There is no other way, My dear ones. You have been called and you have been chosen. My shepherds, I want to unite in deepest union with you, that I may live in you and live in this world. You are My lights that will shine in the darkness. Come to Me. Die to yourself. At every Mass give yourselves as a sacrifice that you may be transformed more and more into My image and likeness. Pray to the Holy Spirit to permeate your being, to fill you with the fire of God’s love and pray to Him to move within you at every moment – that it is the Spirit that lives within you and directs all of your activities, for God truly lives within you, My beloved ones. Free yourselves of any debris within your hearts and let Us unite in the deepest union with you. Any anger, hatred, unforgiveness, or division toward any person, divides you from this union with Me. You are My shepherds. I am giving you great graces to unite deeply to Me. Surrender and come to Me and let the Holy Spirit sanctify your soul. Die to yourselves and live in Me. I am Jesus. I am longing for your love.

6. R. O Heart of Jesus, I give myself to You. Take me into Your Heart. Hold me in this deep chamber and let me feel the fire of Your burning love.

7. R. We are one body in Him. As we all unite in the heart of Mary and the Heart of Jesus, we will be one body. The Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph and the Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign. “When a sufficient number of people are consecrating their hearts to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, there will be peace.” This is what Mary said at Fatima. It is our consecration, our giving of ourselves to Mary’s Heart, to Jesus’ Heart, that will make the peace in this world. This movement is to help spread this consecration to the priests, to the sisters and brothers, to the laity, to the children. When we are all consecrating our hearts, giving ourselves to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, when we pray our consecration this evening, let us pray with all our hearts and let us pray each day to the Holy Spirit to transform us more and more in the heart of Mary, in a greater image and likeness of our Beloved Savior.

8. R. Jesus came and He took me to the deepest recesses of His Heart.

9. R. To be engulfed in the presence of the Trinity - there was no fear for I know that Jesus gave Himself on the cross. He took His last breath and He surrendered and died for me.

10. Song: God’s Love

Chief Shepherd of the Flock

Suffering: A Source of Life

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep. The hired man, since he is not the shepherd and the sheep do not belong to him, abandons the sheep as soon as he sees a wolf coming, and runs away, and then the wolf attacks and scatters the sheep; he runs away because he is only a hired man and has no concern for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for my sheep. (Jn 10:11-15)1

Yet ours were the sufferings he was bearing, ours the sorrows he was carrying, while we thought of him as someone being punished and struck with affliction by God; whereas he was being wounded for our rebellions, crushed because of our guilt; the punishment reconciling us fell on him, and we have been healed by his bruises. We had all gone astray like sheep, each taking his own way, and Yahweh brought the acts of rebellion of all of us to bear on him. Ill-treated and afflicted, he never opened his mouth, like a lamb led to the slaughter-house, like a sheep dumb before its shearers he never opened his mouth. (Is 53:4-7)

  • He hung upon a cross on a hill called Calvary. Death was near. How much Jesus had already suffered! He had been derisively crowned with thorns. In a terribly weakened condition, He carried the heavy cross to the hill of Golgotha. There He was stripped of His garments and mercilessly nailed to the cross. After all this brutal and agonizing suffering, Jesus finally died.

Truly the Good Shepherd had laid down His life for His sheep. That magnificent Heart, overflowing with love for His Father and all of us, had beat its last.

On the third day, Jesus rose: ‘Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up.’ The Jews replied, ‘It has taken forty-six years to build this Temple: are you going to raise it up again in three days?’ But he was speaking of the Temple that was his body, and when Jesus rose from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the scripture and what he had said. (Jn 2:19-22)

Yes, the Good Shepherd died and rose for our salvation. Behold, the paschal mystery of Jesus!

When we are baptized we are incorporated into Christ's paschal mystery of death and resurrection. St. Paul speaks of this marvelous union with Jesus: You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father’s glorious power, we too should begin living a new life. (Rm 6:3-4)

Christ has structured the Christian life by the way He lived, died, and rose from the dead. It is obvious, then, as Paul tells us above that the pattern of death-resurrection must be at the heart of the Church’s life. Individually and collectively, we continually die in Christ so that we may continually rise in Him. Thus we pass over in a process of ongoing religious transition to a greater participation in Christ’s resurrection. It is true that our participation in Christ’s resurrection will reach its completion only in eternal life. Nevertheless, we begin the life of resurrection here upon earth, in the here and now of human life, in the midst of joy and pain, in the experience of success and failure, in the sweat of our brow, in the enjoyment of God’s gifts. As Christians, we should have a sense of dynamic growth concerning our here and now life of resurrection.

We cannot maintain the life of resurrection or grow in it without a willingness to suffer. This does not mean that we need to feel overwhelmed and heavily burdened in our lives. The greater portion of suffering for most Christians seems to be an accumulation of ordinary hardships, difficulties, and pains. At times, however, deep suffering, even suffering of agonizing proportions can enter into one’s life. Whether the sufferings one encounters are of the more ordinary variety or of the more rare and extreme type, Christians must convince themselves that to relate properly to the cross is to grow in resurrection, and growth in resurrection means we will also have an increased capacity to help give resurrection to others.

  • Pope John Paul II speaks of the role suffering plays in the Christian life: "Every man has his own share in the redemption. Each one is also called to share in that suffering through which the redemption was accomplished. He is called to share in that suffering through which all human suffering has also been redeemed. In bringing about the redemption through suffering, Christ has also raised human suffering to the level of the redemption. Thus each man in his suffering can also become a sharer in the redemptive suffering of Christ…

"Those who share in Christ’s sufferings have before their eyes the paschal mystery of the cross and resurrection, in which Christ descends, in a first phace, to the ultimate limits of human weakness and impotence: Indeed, he dies nailed to the cross. But if at the same time in this weakness there is accomplished his lifting up, confirmed by the power of the resurrection, then this means that the weaknesses of all human sufferings are capable of being infused with the same power of God manifested in Christ’s cross. In such a concept, to suffer means to become particularly susceptible, particularly open, to the working of the salvific powers of God offered to humanity in Christ. In him God has confirmed his desire to act especially through suffering, which is man’s weakness and emptiness of self." 2

  • Dom Hubert Van Zeller observes: "Men and women who might be turning their afflictions over to God, who have only to unite themselves in spirit with Christ’s passion, are found so often to stop short, and even to make of their trial further matter for selfishness. Even if we do not rebel positively against God’s providential will, we can become so preoccupied with our troubles as to leave God out of account.

"Instead of making us compassionate for others we can squander compassion on ourselves. Suffering is meant to enlarge our hearts, not shrink them. With suffering goes the grace of patience, peace, fortitude, penitence and love. All this can be missed if we make the mistake of turning in upon ourselves as the result of our trials.

"To the Jews the cross was a stumbling block, and to the gentiles foolishness. What is it to us? Often it can be an emblem merely, the significance of the symbol forgotten. The cross is something in which we are, by reason of our Christian inheritance, inextricably involved. Do we yield to it or harden ourselves against it? The cross is not just two planks fitted together on a certain day in the history of the world, and of all the relics which we venerate the most sacred, but a fact of our human experience which may or may not be sacred according to what we do about it." 3

  • Contrary to what many think, Fr. Edward Leen reminds us that suffering is compatible with happiness: "If men are prone to err in conceiving the nature of happiness, they will necessarily err in judging of its opposite. They commonly think that a man cannot possibly be happy if he is a prey to constant sickness; if he is condemned to experience habitual poverty and to be buried in obscurity; if he fails to take an important part on the world stage; if he is unsuccessful in his enterprises; if he is deprived of the opportunities of intellectual or aesthetic development; and finally, if he fails to gain the applause and the esteem of his fellows. Now though all these things mean grievous sufferings for men, neither singly nor in combination have they the power to rob him of essential happiness.

"Apart from the consideration of the life of the Redeemer, certain undeniable facts of history justify this contention. The saints, in all ages, have been persons whose lot it was, generally speaking, to undergo greater trials and sufferings than others are called upon to endure. Yet they were habitually happy, buoyant and joyous human beings…

"The saints were not violently wresting words from their literal meaning when they proclaimed themselves happy. For the happiness they enjoyed was that which is proper to, and satisfying for man…

"God planned an unbroken life of happiness for man. The Fall modified, but did not prevent the realization of this plan. Suffering, but not unhappiness, becomes the condition of the earthly portion of men’s existence. God does not make unhappiness here to be the price to pay for happiness hereafter. To be happy, in the minds of all men, is to fare well, that is, to live excellently... The Saviour Himself suffered intensely, but He lived the highest life possible for men. He was, therefore, happy. He assured men that He could share His own blissful experience with them. It may appear paradoxical to associate happiness with the mental image of One Who is called the Man of Sorrows. But an analysis of the nature of happiness will show that it was fully realized in the earthly life of the Saviour…" 4

  • Caryll Houselander writes with great sensitivity regarding the second station of the Way of the Cross: "They put His own garments on Him again, and Jesus comes out from the judgment hall of Pilate to receive His cross.

"He comes to it gladly! This is a strange thing, for the cross is a symbol of shame, and it is to be His deathbed. Already He sees the very shape of His death in the wide-spread arms. From this moment He will be inseparable from it, until He dies on it. He will labour and struggle under the weight of it… Yet Christ welcomes the cross. He embraces it. He takes it into His arms. He lays His beautiful hands on it tenderly, those strong hands of a carpenter that are so familiar with the touch of wood." 5

  • Henri Nouwen tells this story: "I would like to tell you the story of a middle-aged man whose career was suddenly interrupted by the discovery of leukemia, a fatal blood cancer. All his life plans crumbled and all his ways had to change. But slowly he was able to ask himself no longer: ‘Why did this happen to me?’ but instead: ‘What is the promise hidden in this event?’ When his rebellion became a new quest, he felt that he could give strength and hope to other cancer patients and, that by facing his condition directly, he could make his pain a source of healing for others. To this day, this man not only does more for patients than many ministers are able to, but he also refound his life on a level that he had never known before." 6

  • St. Paul tells us: But we hold this treasure in pots of earthenware, so that the immensity of the power is God’s and not our own. We are subjected to every kind of hardship, but never distressed; we see no way out but we never despair; we are pursued but never cut off; knocked down, but still have some life in us; always we carry with us in our body the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our body. Indeed, while we are still alive, we are continually being handed over to death, for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our mortal flesh. (2 Co 4:7-11)

Jesus was Crucified and Dies on the Cross

R. The beloved cross of Jesus, the cross that the Savior died on. Let us forever keep before our eyes the cross of Christ, for in this vision, we know more fully, His tremendous love for us. Let us see Jesus on the crucifix and love the crucifix. Look at Jesus’ hands that are pierced with the nails, think of how Jesus hung and of how they tore the tissue from Jesus’ hands. Let us meditate on the wounds of our Savior. These are the wounds of His love for us.

1. R. Jesus gave Himself for love of us. At every Mass let us unite with the sacrifice of Jesus, to the Father, that we may die to those ways that are not like His, that we may offer ourselves as a sacrifice with Jesus, to the Father - the most pleasing sacrifice to the Father, the gift of His Son!

2. R. Let us unite with the priest at those precious moments when the bread is changed into the Body of Christ and the wine is changed into His Blood - this gift that takes place in every Mass through the hands of the priest, what a gift it is. Let us pray for greater grace to participate more fully in this gift of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

3. R. We join in this intimate act of love between Divinity and humanity when God gives Himself to us. Let us give ourselves to Him and not hold anything back.

4. R. In this most intimate act, God gives Himself to us in the Holy Eucharist. We search and we look for love, when nothing on the face of the earth can compare to this great gift that God gives to us in the Mass. Jesus gives Himself to us in the Holy Eucharist. I see Him hanging on the cross, Jesus’ head and Jesus’ face covered with blood. Jesus’ pierced hands and feet pierced. This is our beloved Savior. Jesus gave Himself! Jesus’ Heart pierced with a lance. Jesus gives Himself to us today. Jesus is neglected and treated with such indifference, such irreverence and such disrespect, when we should be in such awe for what we are given in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Let us, at every Eucharist, help make reparation to Jesus’ adorable Heart for the injustices and the offenses against Him. Let us make reparation to the Heart of our beloved Mother for the blasphemies against her Immaculate Heart. Let us keep forever the cross of Christ before our eyes and love the cross that we know more and more, His deep and burning love for us. It is Death/Resurrection. In baptism we receive a sharing in His life. In suffering we can grow in greater life in Him.

5. Hail Mary

6. Hail Mary

7. Hail Mary

8. R. Let us make the Stations very often. It is in walking the Way of the Cross in the Stations with Him that we understand more and more the Passion and Way of the Cross and so His immense love for us. See Mary as she holds the lifeless body of her Son in her arms under the cross. Jesus always did the Father’s will. Mary always complied to the Father’s will. It is in following the Father’s will that we will have peace and joy in our lives. I see Jesus in her arms under the cross. To Jesus’ death He complied to the Father’s will. This is the love that Jesus has for us - that Jesus gave Himself on the cross, and He gives Himself to us this day in the Holy Eucharist. He calls out, “tell them, Rita, tell them, how I long for their love, how I wait and how I thirst for them to come to spend time with Me.” Jesus wants us to talk to Him all through the day, to tell Him of our love for Him. Let us pray for the grace to know, love and serve God more.

9. Hail Mary

10. Hail Mary

Before the Tabernacle, Wednesday,
Our Lady of the Woods

The Resurrection

R. The Pascal Mystery, Death/Resurrection

Jesus gave His all. He spread His arms and He gave His all and He calls us to love each other as He has loved us. In this act of giving, He shows us that He gave to His death on the cross. He came to show us the way to love. Jesus died to bring us new life. We want to focus on our baptism - sharing in His life in us.

1. R. Jesus calls us to die to all those things that are not like Him. At the Consecration of the Mass, when the priest raises up the host, I hear Him say: This is My Body. I hear the song, “This is My Body ... Given up for you.”

2. R. Love is giving and Jesus gave His all. Jesus spread His arms and gave His all. Jesus died on the cross that we could share in His life and in the Resurrection. Jesus gives us a sharing in His life in baptism.

3. R. Jesus sets the exiles free. Jesus gives to us a sharing in His Divine Life in baptism. At the cross, Blood and water poured from His pierced Heart. Water, a symbol of Baptism; Blood, a symbol of the Eucharist. Baptism - whereby we become sharers in His Divine Life and the Eucharist, whereby that life is fed with His own Body and Blood. Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist. Jesus loved us that He gave Himself.

4. Song: Take and Eat

5. R. Death has no power over Jesus and on the third day He rose from the dead.

6. R. In baptism we receive a sharing in His life and God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell in the graced baptized soul. We read His Word, the Holy Scriptures, our hearts burn within us for this is our love for God. The two disciples on the way to Emmaus said, “When he spoke the Scriptures, were not our hearts burning within us.” As we grow deeper and deeper in this life, our hearts will burn within us when we hear the Word of God.

7. R. Jesus died on the cross. We die to the ways not like Jesus at Mass. We give ourselves to Him and we die to all those things that are not like Him and we ask the Holy Spirit to come and to work in us in the heart of Mary that we will be more and more like our Beloved Jesus. The Mass is so beautiful for it is there that we offer ourselves as a sacrifice - not a sacrifice that we are given hard things all the time, it is the offering of ourselves to the Father united to Jesus, in the Holy Spirit. We pray to do God’s will in love.

Pray: This is my offering Father. Whatever You want I give myself to You. In my joys and in my sorrows, I give You myself with all my love.

8. R. Jesus gives Himself to us. This intimate relationship between me and Jesus depends on how intimately I give myself to Jesus. The more I give of myself, the more fully I will know God’s love more deeply.

9. Song: I Love You Jesus

10. Song: God’s Love

Ascension of Our Lord into Heaven

R. Before He ascended into heaven, Jesus gave to the apostles the power to baptize and to forgive sins. Think of our priest this day - the great honor it is to be a priest. The gift God gives at the Consecration of the Mass when bread is changed into the Body of Christ and wine is changed into His Blood! Let us pray fervently for our priest, for this is such a great honor. When the priest is full of love for Jesus, when he sees the great role he has been called to, the priest will be more and more like Jesus. We want to see Jesus in the priest at Mass. We pray that priests give good example as holy priests, so young men all over will answer the call if Jesus is calling them to priesthood.

1. R. As we go to Mass and we see with eyes unveiled, the great gift, as it unfolds before us, let us pray fervently for our beloved priests.

2. R. Jesus ascended into Heaven but He left behind the apostles to carry out His work. Let us see Jesus at the Consecration of the Mass, for the Father looks down and He sees His Son. The host is changed into the Body of Christ and the wine is changed into His Blood, this is a precious moment. The priest is such a gift to us and the Father sees this and is so pleased. In this Holy Sacrifice of the Mass let us unite with the priest and offer ourselves and all that we do to God and surrender to the will of the Father for we know how much God loves us. The Father sent His only begotten Son into this world that we would be able to share in His life. Jesus gave Himself as a sacrifice on the cross and rose the 3rd day victorious.

3. R. How blessed are we that we can go to Mass. The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present and it goes on all over the world. We can unite with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in all of our actions all through the day. Everything that we do we do as an offering to the Father, united to Jesus, in the Holy Spirit in the Mass. The most pleasing act of love to the Father is the love of His Son.

4. R. How great was the act of love God gave to this world when Jesus gave Himself and died on the cross. Jesus gives Himself to us this day in the Holy Eucharist. The greatest commandment is that we must love God with our whole heart, our whole soul and our whole being – this is a command! If we are to enter into Heaven we must follow the commandments. They are commands given by God for us to follow. The greatest act we can do on this earth is the act of loving God. The reason for our existence is to love God. Jesus gives Himself to us in the Eucharist. This is the Sacrament of His greatest love. We are called to respond by giving ourselves in love to Him.

5. Song: Take and Eat

6. Hail Mary

7. R. Jesus is the Bread of Life and He gives Himself to us in the Eucharist.

8. R. Jesus ascended into Heaven but He remains with us this day and He is truly present in the Eucharist as the day He walked this earth and Jesus is in this room with us at this moment in His Divinity and humanity. Many times the churches are empty when Jesus is in the tabernacle. Let us fervently consecrate our hearts to Jesus, give ourselves to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and give to Him our greatest love for we are hungry and He will feed us with what our starving souls crave - His Divine Love.

9. Song: Jesus We Adore You

10. Hail Mary

The Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and Mary

R. They were afraid and they locked themselves in the upper room and there was a gigantic-like wind. There appeared over their heads parted tongues of fire. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in foreign tongues, as He prompted them to.

1. R. We see the apostles before the Descent of the Holy Spirit. They were filled with fear. We see them after the Resurrection. They had not understood the words of Jesus, they did not really know what would happen. We see Peter. Peter denied Jesus, but we see the apostles after the Descent of the Holy Spirit and they go out to preach. They did not care who was first. They were filled with the fire of God’s love. They were selfless and they went into the world. Their whole mission was to carry this exuberant love within them to the world.

2. R. Holy Spirit, we ask You to come, descend upon us and work inside of us, fill us with the fire of God’s love and transform us more and more into the image and likeness of Jesus.

3. R. Jesus took me to the inner recesses of His Heart and He enveloped me in His deep burning love and I was united to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. For, the deeper that I penetrate the Heart of Jesus, the more I unite with the Father, for He is one with Him. Oh, Heart of Jesus, help us to love God more and more through Your deep and burning Heart.

4. R. I give myself to the heart of Mary, to her pure and sinless heart and in that heart the Holy Spirit is active as He works with the fire of God’s love, transforming us more and more to this image of Jesus. Mary places us deeper in the Heart of her Son in which we unite to the Father. We feel the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in our graced baptized soul. To be enveloped by the presence of the Almighty God - it is beyond all words. Dwelling in Their Hearts is our little heaven on earth. It is there that we unite more deeply to the Almighty God.

5. Song: Come Holy Spirit

6. R. It is in giving ourselves to the heart of Mary, that we will be placed by Mary, deeper and deeper into the Heart of her Beloved Son.

7. Consecration cards for children

8. R. Die to yourself at the Consecration of the Mass and be enveloped in the heart of Mary and the Holy Spirit will work within you. Mary and the Holy Spirit are there to help us to be more and more like Jesus. Do you feel this at the Mass as you surrender yourself? Do you see the Sacrifice, the Holy Sacrifice, the table and the offering and that it is up to us to unite and to give ourselves that we may share more fully in His deep and burning love?

9. R. Holy Spirit, we give ourselves to You. Fill us with Your gifts. Give us Your light that we may know more and more about our Beloved God, for it is You that fills us with Your Divine Wisdom. With Your grace we partake and know more and more into the mystery of God’s love.

10. Hail Mary

Assumption of Our Blessed Lady into Heaven

Acts 1: 9-11

As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight. They were still staring into the sky as he went, when suddenly two men in white were standing beside them, and they said, ‘Why are you Galileans standing here looking into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him go to heaven.’

R. Jesus ascended into Heaven. We, hopefully, too someday will be in heaven. What is Heaven like? What will it be like? It will be knowing the presence of the Almighty God, to be enveloped by love itself, it is a presence of Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the beatific vision in heaven for all eternity. Relationship with God. It begins in a special way after Communion at the Mass. Let us thank God for the great gift that He gives to us, the gift of Himself.

1. R. Jesus took me to the deepest recesses of His Heart and it was there I was enveloped by the love of the Almighty God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. Song: I Am Your Sacred Heart

3. R. Mary said at Fatima, “Until a sufficient number of people have consecrated their hearts to the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, there will not be peace in this world.” Let us give ourselves to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Fr. Carter says dwelling in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary is our little Heaven on earth.

4. R. Jesus showed us love. Jesus mounted the cross and Jesus gave Himself. This is the price Jesus paid that we would share in His Divine Life.

5. R. Mary has appeared to me so many times and she calls out for the children that will be lost and will lose their souls. We must consecrate our hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Jesus has promised that as Shepherds of Christ members, He is giving to us great graces to join ever closer in our union with Him as we consecrate our heart to Their Hearts. We can give our heart to Mary and she will take us to the Heart of her Son.

6. Jesus: My dear beloved ones, bring your loved ones to the heart of My Mother and she will take them to My Heart. I am giving to you great graces as members of Shepherds of Christ, great graces to unite ever deeper to My Heart. In your consecration, your prayers are heard. Pray with all your heart and your prayers will be heard.

7. R. Oh, Mother of God, I give my heart to you. I beg that I may dwell in your motherly heart and as I dwell in your heart, you take me to the Heart of your Son, Jesus.

8. R. Oh, beloved Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You.

9. R. In all of the troubles that are in our lives, let us go to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. This is our little Heaven on earth. Take all of our family and all of those situations that we have no control over, to her heart and she will place them deeply in the Heart of her Son.

10. Hail Mary

Mary is Crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth

1. R. The peace of the world is entrusted to her. Mary appeared at Fatima and she said, “until a sufficient number of people have consecrated their hearts to the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we will not have peace in this world.” Consecration means total giving of ourselves to Their Hearts. We have been called to the Shepherds of Christ Movement as special Shepherd Members to go out into this world and to spread Their love. It is through our consecration to Their Hearts that we unite in such oneness with God. God dwells in us and ministers to many in this world. We have been called Shepherds of Christ and given great graces to carry out this mission. It is in dwelling in Their Hearts that we will unite to the Almighty God. This is our little Heaven on earth.

2. Jesus: No person is too busy to spend time alone with Me each day. I am calling you to this union. My special Shepherds of Christ, I am calling you to the deepest union with My Heart. Surrender and let go and I will care for you and all of your needs. Each day you must consecrate your heart to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Surrender in the Mass. Give yourselves that you may grow in holiness and unite in deepest union with God in the Holy Eucharist. I am Jesus. Many are called but few are chosen. You are My special chosen ones that I am sending into this world to spread the devotion to My Heart and My Mother’s heart. Come to Our Hearts and live in Us.

3. Song: I Am the Bread of Life

4. Song: Eye Has Not Seen

5. R. Let us partake more fully in His Divine Life that we may see more and more each day all through the Mass. Let us pray to the Holy Spirit that we will see the great gift as it unfolds before our eyes and that we offer ourselves as a Sacrifice with Jesus and unite to this all through the day, thereby making our prayers so magnified and putting all our cares in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Bring all your beloved ones to Their Hearts and go about your lives loving as He intends us to love.

6. Hail Mary

7. Hail Mary

8. Hail Mary

9. Song: I Will Raise you Up on the Last Day

R. Our union for all eternity depends on the union we have with Him now. Let us beg Him for the graces that we may unite ever deeper to Him for we will be satisfied if we go to Heaven. Our life forever depends on how we are now. Let us pray for these graces fervently to go to heaven and consecrate our hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, I give myself to You. Take me, use me, whatever You will. I see You dying on the cross. I know this is the love You have for me.

Dear heart of Mary, I give myself to you. my heavenly Mother, Mother of my spiritual life, take me into your heart as you carried the Child Jesus within your womb, as you cared for Him and loved Him, care and love me and all my needs. This is my prayer - to be ever united deeper and deeper in my love for the Almighty God. I give myself to you.

10. From the Shepherds of Christ Prayer Manual

Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
