Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

    I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

    I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

    When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of my soul.

     Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

The devil wants disorder,
the devil wants to rule.

We must love the Lord our
God, with our whole heart,
our whole soul, our whole
being and love our neighbor
as ourselves.

John 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,

R. God loved us first, it is our
response to God’s love.

Genesis 1: 26-27

God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves, and let them be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild animals and all the creatures that creep along the ground.’

God created man in the image of himself,
    in the image of God he created him,
    male and female he created them.

R. In Baptism we receive a
sharing in Divine life.

Our knowing and loving
capacity is elevated.

Whatever you do, do it for
the glory of God.

Love is the gift of self, for
the good of the other.

Love is about giving and
receiving love.

We see the love of the Two
Hearts.

We know oneness in the
Trinity.

When we give love we are
deeply united in Him, this
helps others grow.

Love is not putting up walls,
blocking God’s work that
only comes in unity and
working as one.

What about insight, through
discussion of deeper insight
into the Divine Mysteries,
deeply united to God?
The Holy Spirit infuses
wisdom and understanding
and knowledge into our
intellect.
We have to be open to the
Holy Spirit, like the window
in a room to let in air, the
window has to be open to
let air in, the window can’t
be shut.

How do we receive love?
We can make it a one way
act.

We can choose the wrong
thing, because we are
attached to the wrong thing.

If God asks us to do
something, He gives us the
grace to do it.

If God asks us to do one
thing, why do we give Him
something else?
 

Matthew 12:46-50

He was still speaking to the crowds when suddenly his mother and his brothers were standing outside and were anxious to have a word with him. But to the man who told him this Jesus replied, ‘Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?’ And stretching out his hand towards his disciples he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.’
 

John 12: 44-50

    Jesus declared publicly: 

    Whoever believes in me 
    believes not in me 
    but in the one who sent me, 
    and whoever sees me, 
    sees the one who sent me. 
    I have come into the world as light, 
    to prevent anyone who believes in me 
    from staying in the dark any more.
    If anyone hears my words
      and does not keep them faithfully,

R. A city set on a hill cannot be
hidden.

Virtues!!!!

Deep friendships, require
time and energy.
I cannot have a deep
friendship with many
because of this reason.
Do we want deep
friendships? We must not
be afraid to show what is
inside of us to some. In a
deep friendship, I am
constantly giving more and
more of myself and seeing if
I am rejected or accepted. If
I am accepted I can go
deeper and give more. The
depth is inexhaustible, and
it is endless, the more I am
one with Jesus, because He
is inexhaustible, as far as
knowing Him,
the more we are one with
Jesus, the more we love
others.

 
John 15:11-17

I have told you this so that my own joy may be in you and your joy be complete. This is my commandment: love one another, as I have loved you. No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do what I command you. I shall no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business; I call you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have learnt from my Father. You did not choose me, no, I chose you; and I commissioned you to go out and to bear fruit, fruit that will last; so that the Father will give you anything you ask him in my name. My command to you is to love one another.

How intimate is this!!!!

Some people are shut down
before they start, because
of walls they throw up at the
beginning of relationships
and communication.

Building a bridge takes 2
sides that need to connect.
How can the bridge be built
if one puts a concrete wall
over the access?

The Church is One, Holy,
Catholic and Apostolic.

We are the body of Christ
(the Church).
The toes must be united to
the other members.

Mysteries of Light

The Baptism of Jesus

1. Mark 1: 9-11

It was at this time that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptised in the Jordan by John. And at once, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit, like a dove, descending on him. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you.’

2. The sky was thrown
    open, the voice of the
    Father was heard.
3. "This is My beloved Son,
    in whom I am well pleased."
4. Jesus taught us how to
    be sons and daughters of
    our Heavenly Father.
5. This began Jesus' public
    life.
6. Jesus taught and worked
    miracles.

7. John 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him 
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

8. Our true home is in
    heaven.
9. These are the mysteries
    of Light.
10. Jesus is the Light of the
    world.
    Through Him, with Him, and
    In Him.

 

The Marriage at Cana

1. John 2: 1-10  

On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’  There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’ 

2. Jesus turned water into
    wine.
3. In the Mass: Bread and
    wine is changed into the
    Body and Blood of Jesus,
    through the hands of the
    priests.
4. Jesus worked the first
    miracle of His public life at
    Cana, at a wedding.
5. Mary has powerful
    intercession.

6. Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

    ... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

    The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

    At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.

7. Without the priest, we
    wouldn't have the Eucharist.
8. The Christian life
    essentially consists in God's
    loving self-communication
    to us with our response to
    Him in love.
9. God gives us a sharing in
    His life in Baptism.
10. This life is nourished by
    the Eucharist.
 

Building of the Kingdom of God

1. We seek to deepen our
    relationship with God.
2. Jesus says: You will know
    the truth and the truth will
    set you free.

3. 2 Corinthians 5:17

So for anyone who is in Christ, there is a new creation: the old order is gone and a new being is there to see.

4. Grace is His life in us.
5. There are 3 Persons in
    one God.
6. We have a oneness with
    God and have a relationship
    with Father, Son, and Holy
    Spirit.
7. The Church is one, holy,
    Catholic and apostolic.
8. We pray for the priests,
    the Church and the world.
9. Sing: Seek Ye First
10. We help build the
    Kingdom of God in living
    holy lives. These are the
    mysteries of Light.
 

The Transfiguration

1. 2 Peter 1:16-19

When we told you about the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, we were not slavishly repeating cleverly invented myths; no, we had seen his majesty with our own eyes. He was honoured and glorified by God the Father, when a voice came to him from the transcendent Glory, This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. We ourselves heard this voice from heaven, when we were with him on the holy mountain.

So we have confirmation of the words of the prophets; and you will be right to pay attention to it as to a lamp for lighting a way through the dark, until the dawn comes and the morning star rises in your minds.

2. Jesus appeared to them
    transfigured.
3. The voice of the Father
    was heard: "This is My
    beloved Son, in whom I am
    well pleased, Listen to Him."
4. Jesus teaches us how to
    be sons of the Heavenly
    Father.
5. Oh Heavenly Father, You
    love us so much. You
    created us in the image and
    likeness of Jesus.
6. Come to me Lord and
    possess my soul.
7. Oh God thank You for
    Your gifts to us.
8. Oh God thank You for the
    Church and the priest.
9. Jesus: I am the way, the
    truth and the life.
10. These are the mysteries
    of Light.
    Jesus is the Light of the
    world.

 

The Institution of the Eucharist

1. Matthew 26: 26-29

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples. ‘Take it and eat,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, ‘Drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. From now on, I tell you, I shall never again drink wine until the day I drink the new wine with you in the kingdom of my Father.’

2. Jesus is truly present in
    the Eucharist: Body, Blood,
    Soul and Divinity.

6. A Prayer Before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

    Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.

    I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.

    Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.

    Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.

    Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.

    Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.
