Excerpt from Response in Christ, by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J. p.
61) Interior Oblation
The first duty of man is to surrender himself to God out of love. This fact flows from the truth that God is the Creator and man is His creature. Man, if he is ideally to fulfill his creaturely role must respond as perfectly as possible to the loving demands of His Creator. God asks that man give himself completely to Himself. This is only proper since everything that man has, whether of the natural or supernatural order, has been given to him by God. Man, in turn, perfects himself by developing these various gifts according to God's will or, in other words, by giving himself completely to God. Man's gift of self to God is centered in loving conformity to the divine will. Consequently, one can understand why the will with its decision-making capacity is the crucial faculty in man, a point emphasized by contemporary thought.
Man directs himself to God by the virtue of religion. This is not to say that this particular virtue ranks above the theological virtues of faith, hope and charity. These are the most excellent, since they unite man directly to God. We are merely stating that the virtue of religion directs all man's actions to the honor of God.
This virtue consists especially in acts of adoration, thanksgiving, petition and reparation. These interior acts can manifest themselves in many ways, but they are especially expressed through sacrifice. Here, then, we have the first constituent element of sacrifice: man's interior offering of himself to God. This giving takes place chiefly in man's will, under the guidance of the virtue of religion. This first element of sacrifice is of prime importance, for it deals with interior dispositions. This importance can be recognized concretely in the history of religion. For example, the Jewish people were convinced that the principal value of sacrifice was centered in the dispositions of the people.

R. Peace is flowing like a river –
Wanting God's will in our lives –
Learning to love and to live in peace –
Peace is found in having an interior
life rooted in God –
God calls us to be alone with him during
the day –
We follow in the footsteps of Jesus –
We need alone time with God –
Jesus would go away to pray –
to pray to His Heavenly
Father –
So He taught us to pray –
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
R. I found the message God has given since
1993 of spending one hour before the
tabernacle daily – brings down so
much grace for us and for the world
and those we pray for –
When we go before the Blessed Sacrament –
R. Jesus is truly present in His Divinity and humanity
the same as when He walked the earth –
the true presence of Jesus.
In baptism we receive a sharing in
His life. This life is nourished especially
by the Eucharist. The Bread of Life –
is the Eucharist and His Word –
We are filled more and more with His
life in us. The more He is in us the
What is life?
Life is being alive in Him –
Having Him more and more alive in us –
Being filled with His grace –
Jeremiah 20: 7-9
You have seduced me, Yahweh,
and I have let myself be seduced;
you have overpowered me:
you were the stronger.
I am a laughing-stock all day long,
they all make fun of me.
For whenever I speak, I have to howl
and proclaim, ‘Violence and ruin!’
For me , Yahweh’s word has been the cause
of insult and derision all day long.
I would say to myself,
‘I will not think about him,
I will not speak in his name any more,’
but then there seemed to be a fire
burning in my heart,
imprisoned in my bones.
The effort to restrain it wearied me,
I could not do it.
22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time
August 28, 2011
– (Jeremiah 20:7-9) Our first reading from the prophet Jeremiah goes back to 600 B.C. It sounds as if Jeremiah thought that when God called him to be a prophet, it would be an easy job. But the people who heard God’s message only hated Jeremiah for what he preached. They ridiculed him, threw him in jail and even tried to kill him. We hear him complaining to God, “You duped me! You tricked me, God!”INTRODUCTION
Jesus’ faithfulness to his mission would bring him suffering too, but Jesus did not complain or feel duped. He was well aware of what was going to happen. In today’s gospel, we hear him warning his disciples ahead of time.
HOMILY
– (Matthew 16:21-27) I don’t know where I saw this and I’m not sure who said it, but some wit said: “If anyone should doubt whether this is truly the land of promise, they should show up around election time.” Politicians promise all the good things they will do for us. You would never hear a politician say, like Jesus did in today’s gospel, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.”Most of us are like Peter in today’s reading. We arehappy to hear about the peace, love and joy that our faith can bring us, and it can, but we don’t want to hear about the cross. If you remember last Sunday’s gospel, Jesus asks the Apostles, “Who do you say that I am?” Peter makes a profound act of faith when he says, “You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Savior). You are the Son of the living God.” Then Jesus told the Apostles what being the messiah would involve. He would suffer greatly, be killed and on the third day be raised. Peter objected. He didn’t want to hear any of that negative stuff. Jesus refused to back down from Peter’s objections. On the contrary, Jesus predicted suffering for his followers too, “whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.”
Jesus used some of the strongest language in rebuking Peter that we hear anywhere in the gospels: “Get behind me, Satan.” He wasn’t saying Peter was an evil person, he was saying Peter was doing the work of Satan, being a tempter, trying to talk Jesus out of his mission, part of which involved rejection and suffering. Jesus knew the Scriptures and the history of God’s people better than Peter and he knew what happened to prophets whose mission was to preach God’s word, such as Jeremiah whom we hear in the first reading and John the Baptist, Jesus’ cousin, who had just been beheaded by Herod. We cannot be too critical of Peter, however, for we have the advantage of hindsight and we know that what Jesus went through had a happy ending with the resurrection. Jesus’ being raised on the third day would have been beyond Peter’s ability to comprehend. It would have been too much for us to understand, too, if we had been there.
Jesus said “whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.” It’s a wonder that anyone decided to follow Jesus when he talked like that. The cross, whether it was a wooden one as it was for Jesus, or some other form of martyrdom, has been real for many of Christ’s followers throughout the centuries. For those like us who are not in immediate danger of being persecuted for our faith, carrying the cross involved the day to day effort to overcome our selfishness and to love God with our whole heart and soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. The cross is for most of us, as St. Paul says in today’s second reading, (Romans 12:1-2) “offering ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.”
Jesus came to establish God’s kingdom, a kingdom where God would “wipe away every tear from our eyes, where there would be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain” (Revelation 21:4). Jesus didn’t come to us to tell us it is good to have to suffer, he came to bring us a better world; he healed the sick, he drove out demons, he told people to help the poor. Suffering for its own sake is never any good. It’s a reasonable thing to do what we can to try to alleviate it. But there are some crosses, some sufferings we cannot avoid. They are part of our journey to God. There are also those crosses we may have to bear that are part of our responsibility or our vocation of caring for others, crosses that sometimes parents have to endure, or religious or missionaries or adult children of aged parents, or they are the crosses that are part of our jobs like teachers or firemen or service men and women or whatever; those are the crosses that bring us closer to our Lord who carried a cross for us.
When we come to Mass we recall Jesus’ love for us and the sacrifice he made for us. It is especially here that he gives us the strength to follow him and to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, our spiritual worship. Amen.
R. Jesus was a martyr
Crucifixion was one of the most terrible
deaths –
Nobody enjoys suffering –
The people heard Jeremiah's message and
they hated Jeremiah –
Jesus shows us in this Gospel that
we are to follow Him –
Jesus suffered too –
Jesus in this Gospel warned the
disciples they would be rejected.
Jesus was preparing them for their
vocation - when they walked with
Him - they saw how Jesus was
treated –
Jesus kept His eyes on His mission –
Jesus was one with the Father –
So He taught us to pray –
He taught us we needed to have alone
time away from the world –
He taught us we need to focus on
our interior life with God –
In baptism we receive a sharing in His life and
the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell in a
special way in the graced baptized soul –
When we don't spend that time with God
every day we don't even know we
are off –
We need to sort out the fragmented pieces
of our lives from the world with
God and discern the Father's
will –
I see a bunch of leaves on the ground –
when a big wind comes they can
be tossed about – helter-skelter –
We go to the world –
We take in things in the world –
The world is not rooted in God –
We have to sort out what is good
and what we have to discard
from the day
We discern the Father's will –
We live deeply in the interior life
keeping our focus on His
truth –
We don't stay away from the world,
(unless God calls somebody to be
a hermit –)
We are in the world and
We have time to be with Jesus –
Jesus called us to be a certain way
in our vocation –
We are to live the Father's Plan for us –
We need God to operate in us –
We live to be what God wants us
to be –
We spend alone time every day with
God –
Here is a message from Blue Book I
It is August 28,1993 "Come to My Tabernacle."
Come To My Tabernacle
August 28, 1993
Jesus: My precious child, I long to be with you. I am here. You must find a way to be with Me every day in front of the tabernacle. If others distract you, you must find a way.
Satan is trying to stop My time with you. I am your true love and I long to spend time with you each day. Hold tight to My face. I am here little one. Don't ever doubt that again. My words are simple. They are truth. No one knows My intense love for them. I long for these moments with you. I am indeed here. If you have to come and be with Me during the day, I want these moments with you in front of the tabernacle. I am truly sitting here with you, Body and Soul.
I am Jesus, Son of the living God. Never doubt Me again. I have made myself known to you, My child. You offend Me so with your doubt and your busyness on other matters. You spend time fuming and fretting and feeling sorry for yourself when I am waiting here to be with you and talk to you. I don't care about other matters. I am very jealous. I want this time every day. You feel so bad inside when you are not alone with Me in church. That is where your comfort comes from. You are so upset inside when you do not spend it here. Don't you know these things? Being home is not the same. I am truly present in the tabernacle. You needn't run anywhere. You have a key to the church. I love you. I don't want to remind you that this is where it all is. I want you to love Me so much you don't even think you can function without time alone with Me in church. Come to Me every day. You do not go a day without food. You can't go a day without time absolutely alone with Me. If you do, it will be a disaster. Have you not felt the gnawing in your heart when you didn't do it yesterday? You crave this time alone and your tears are from not being alone with Him Whom you truly love.
I am Jesus Christ, Son of the one true God. I have chosen you to write these messages which are meant for all and you are busy-doing what, My child? Did you not cry and feel bad most of yesterday? This is your proof. You knew you wanted to be with Me here so badly you almost drove back out. You have to be alone with Me. In front of the tabernacle is best. I am the living God and I am in the tabernacle. You must be here or you will be so lost inside. Spend time with Me, My child. Nothing else matters. I am the one, true God and you shall not have other gods before Me. I command this because this is how you were created and this makes you most happy. Come to Me all you who labor and I will give you rest. I will give you peace, not as this world gives you peace, but My peace, which only I can give.
The gift I give to you, My child, is My Son. Would you refuse My gift? He waits for you every day and where do you go-to the grocery?- to do your wash? What do you do, child?
I am waiting for you. Would you keep Me waiting and turn your back? Is one hour too much for the Son of God? I give you 24 hours. One hour is so little to ask. This is where your peace lies. All else is fruitless.
Not one day should be spent without one hour of private prayer with Me, preferably in the church in front of the tabernacle. Come to Me My little babies. I want to comfort you. I want to care for you. You are all mixed up with your priorities. I grow tired that you don't listen and tell others of My great and glorious love for all My children. This is your main goal. Pray with Me and spread My intense love for all My children. Yes, and I will give you all you need, child. Quit thinking you have to do other things. You have to be with Me and I will make it all work out. I want all to know of My intense love for My children. I died that you might live, not in this world, but in the world to come. I am the way, the truth and the light. All else is useless if it is not rooted in Me and for My work. Time is very short, little one. Listen to My words. You have wasted enough time. Don't delay. All must know of My love for them. It is in Me that they are made whole. Nothing else matters, My child.

May 12, 2002 message
Jesus speaks:
Comforts - what are your comforts
when I ask you to suffer.
Look at My face on the cross
Jesus speaks: I endured the suffering for you.
In that moment of greatest pain -
say, I am identifying with Jesus
in this suffering.
I will endure it.
I will seek greater purity.
I will accept my sufferings with joy.
Where can you go?
Why do you reach for a quick fix,
a comfort food, something to
take away the pain.
Jesus speaks:
Accept the little trials I ask you
to bear and say "Jesus may release
great grace for my enduring this."
Oh I love you to love Me. Focus on My love for
you today.
Thank your God in heaven for
the gifts you have.
Many times you must let go
of things. Some of the people
you love move on to heaven.
You are to focus on Me and My
love for you.
I want your love. I want you
to grow in love.
(When people are sick, many times
they need to go to the doctor.
Jesus is not telling us to ignore signs
that tell us we must go to the doctor.
There are many times we complain and
do not except suffering as we should.
He refers to this. There are many times
when we must act and are suffering.
We must pray for discernment.)

R. We must pray for discernment
God is calling us in our vocation to be something
He wants us to be –
Our peace is found in being whatever
that is God has called us to in
obedience and love and working
under God's plan –
like Jeremiah –
like Jesus –
like Peter –
They did the Father's will –
Mary was obedient to God –
She loved the Father's will –
Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.
-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994
R. Here is a little story Fr. Joe told –
He said the Spirit is like the wind –
you don't see the Spirit, but the
Spirit is there - like the wind –
Sing: Come Holy Spirit
Jesus tells us He will not leave us orphaned –
We know the Holy Spirit dwells in our graced, baptized
soul in a special way –
The Holy Spirit is the Inner Master,
Inner Teacher –
The Spirit of Truth –
R. Fr. Joe said the sisters in grade school
taught him –
The sister told him to say 3 Hail Mary's
every day for his vocation –
Fr. Joe said he wanted to be a farmer, an
artist etc. –
He kept getting the idea he needed to go to
the seminary –
He thought he would give it a year –
So then he stayed 2 years
So then he stayed 3 years
So then he stayed 4 years
Then one day he was in chapel and
he saw so clear, as if lights were
turned on –
all doubt was gone in the seminary
chapel –
He asked for a sign – if he wasn't to be
a priest he would flunk out –
Instead his grades got better –
He said when lots of priests were
leaving the seminary he knew
God wanted him to stay –
Fr. Joe said last week –
when he was a child he had asthma
and there wasn't drugs, etc.
He said he missed two weeks of
school every year because of
his asthma –
My mom told him to meditate on
the passion when he couldn't
breathe and then he did it
and he could breathe better –
it helped him – so all
through his life –
when he had to suffer – he meditates
on the passion and it really helps –
From Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.
The Christian's Personal Uniqueness (excerpt)
Because of the uniqueness of each Christian's existence, he or she presents Christ with a unique opportunity. Each Christian has the vocation to offer Christ his or her humanity so that Jesus can re-incarnate himself in a new way. Jesus wants to continue his redemptive work through the not-to-be-repeated newness that is each Christian's uniqueness. To the extent that an individual Christian offers his or her humanity to Jesus, he or she has a unique opportunity to continue the redemption—an opportunity that no one else can offer him or her. Likewise, to the extent that an individual Christian fails to offer his or her humanity to Christ, Jesus loses the opportunity that is this Christian's uniqueness.
Each of us, consequently, no matter what his or her occupation or status in life might be, has both the great privilege and the great responsibility to properly utilize his or her life according to God's Christic design. No one else can fulfill your unique mission, and, in turn, you cannot accomplish the unique mission of another. At times we can become somewhat fearful or anxious about the task that God has entrusted to us as we more deeply realize what it demands. ...
At this point, however, many will object that the above examples highlight the lives of persons who have achieved outstanding recognition in the external order of things and have commanded great public attention. People who voice this objection often say that their own lives are so mundane, so hidden, so incapable of making headlines. Surely, they continue, this rather too ordinary kind of life makes little difference to Christ, to the Church, and to the world. Surely it does not much matter whether a person living this kind of existence fulfills his or her God-given mission. At first glance, many of us would tend to agree with this reasoning, a reasoning that is really the exact opposite temptation of what we considered when we likened ourselves to Jeremiah. In that context there was a question of being tempted to do nothing because we feared the greatness to which we were called; in the present context, however, it is a question of being tempted to do nothing because we think we really have nothing to contribute. Yet, as we begin to reflect in mature faith, we soon see the fallacy of this objection. We realize that great external accomplishments or a life that attracts public attention do not, in and of themselves, make that life great and truly worthwhile. If a Christian life that is characterized by notable external achievement is truly great and meaningful for mankind, we know that it is so because the external achievement has sprung forth from an attitude of deep faith, hope, and love. This, then, is the ultimate answer to the above objection—every Christian's life, no matter how ordinary it might be in its external framework, can be tremendously important and can make an outstanding contribution toward the work of ongoing redemption as long as it is increasingly consistent with God's will.

Given April 20, 2009 - My Mom's birthday
John 3: 1-8
There was one of the Pharisees called Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews, who came to Jesus by night and said, ‘Rabbi, we know that you have come from God as a teacher; for no one could perform the signs that you do unless God were with him.’ Jesus answered:
In all truth I tell you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
without being born from above.Nicodemus said, ‘How can anyone who is already old be born? Is it possible to go back into the womb again and be born?’ Jesus replied:
In all truth I tell you,
no one can enter the kingdom of God
without being born
through water and the Spirit;
what is born of human nature is human;
what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Do not be surprised when I say:
You must be born from above.
The wind blows where it pleases;
you can hear its sound,
but you cannot tell where it comes from
or where it is going.
So it is with everyone
who is born of the Spirit
We are to walk as a "new man"
that is what Easter is all about —
to have the newness of life of living
more the life of resurrection and
bringing that life of resurrection to others —
To accomplish this we are to make
a change in our ways to walk in
the newness of life —
We may have gone to Church etc. —
but the condition and motive of the
heart is what matters.
When Jesus went to the cross — He
went purely — He did the Father's will
perfectly — He was consumed with conviction
as a runner running a race —
We pray God give us a willing spirit
to run the race for You — not to be
held back because of bitterness and
anger and self-pity, but to follow
in Your footsteps to love and serve
You for Your holy purpose —
What is the will of God for my vocation
today? How can I purely do the job?
What keeps me from doing the job with
a pure spirit of love and furthering
His Kingdom. What motive do I have
for serving God — My motive should be
for His honor and glory — for love of
My Master — how can I make recompense
to God for pitying myself and acting
bitter — avenging others when I should
have just served Him in my vocation —
with great love for Him and others as
He desires —
Do I realize only in serving Him, in
living our lives as a sacrifice, an
offering will I be happy —
Pope John Paul II said — know what
God wants and do it —
St. Therese showed us her little
way of love — We are to love God for
loving Him — We are to honor Him because
He is God — We are to be on fire for
love of Him as our best friend and when
we have a friend we love — we try to
give Him what He desires — Jesus wants
this personal love —
Loving the Father and giving to Him
as a good little child of the Father —
Being a person who thinks they control
everything may fail to see themselves
as a little child - created by the Father —
to love and serve God — to see themselves
under another in authority is a grace
which is necessary to grow in the
spiritual life.
We must live for the Father's will as
a small child pleasing daddy — we
seek it — we run our lives by
seeking the Father's will and living by
it — It is our ruling stick.
We see Jesus sweating Blood in
the garden —
"Not My will but Yours, Father"
We see Jesus beaten
"Not My will but Yours, Father"
We see Jesus crowned with thorns,
spit on, mocked
"Not My will but Yours, Father"
We see Jesus carry the cross on His
back — the cross with our sins —
the cross He fell under —
"Not My will, but Yours, Father"
We see Jesus stripped of His garments,
nailed — thru His hands and feet
and hanging on the cross 3 hours
to His death
"Not My will, but Yours, Father"
Well what about those who are angry
inside and act bitter punishing
others for their anger —
When we do not forgive and live with
an angry, hard heart — we
are miserable and nobody can
fix someone who is lashing out
in mean active or passive anger
for the anger in them
Jesus is love —
Jesus loved us so much — no matter what
the men did to Him —
He did the Father's will — not with
anger from the wounds of others —
but Jesus did the Father's will in
love.
Fr. Carter used to see himself as a
little child in Mary's arms —
he would say
"I am just a little child in
Mary's arms" — Fr. Carter loved —
Fr. Carter gave his life for
the Shepherds of Christ —
He was persecuted, but he delivered
the messages —
He did not worry about himself or
what others thought of him —
he supported every message and
he told people they must,
to be leaders, live by the rules
of the Shepherds of Christ.
The Blue Books were as much his as
mine and he discerned them — lived
by them and told the people in
the Movement they were to live
by them —
Fr. Carter loved —
Fr. Carter supported me as leader
and messenger.
Fr. Carter lived by the messages
Fr. Carter defended me and the
messages —
Fr. Carter spent time seeing what
Jesus wanted was carried out
And he stood behind the building,
the Red Rosary book — praying
for it every day
Fr. Carter was pure —
He did it for Jesus
He said Jesus told him
a little prayer
If we don't have the right spirit
and motive in us our
actions will not render ourselves
pleasing to what the Father
desires
Help me to see through your eyes God —
(not my distorted vision focusing
on my selfish ways)

We are the children of the Father —
Father give us Your love
Holy Spirit make us holy —
not rebellious —
self-righteous
selfish
acting from our wounded selves
Help us to be pure
Help us to bring about the
Reign of the Sacred Heart
in this world —
The meek (not combattal and argumentative,
competitive) and tender Heart of
love of Jesus —
God help us to grow in love
to be with you in love
forever in heaven
This life is a work table to
learn to love and be holy
We must become people united to God —
We are not trying to prove we are over
others - in competition.
We see ourselves uniquely created
by God and only we can contribute to
the world as God intends — We uniquely
love God and others
We know we are special
We are the Divine Creation of the
Father with a purpose —
A person who does not recognize this may
be constantly trying to save - face
before people because of shame
and guilt from the past or negative
tapes they listen to which are
because of their distorted vision
of themselves, of others and of God —
We can pray
to see through the eyes of God
to know with the heart of God
and to act as God acts in us —
We were created for a purpose —
as servants of God
our whole life should be lived
to learn to love —
not to focus on making a name
and kingdom for our vain
purpose here below
Because of the effects of original sin
man seeks dominance for
dominance sake —
Jesus sweat blood in the garden for
our sins —
The person that lies to themselves
about their past offenses and never
took responsibility for this — lives
a life of wearing a mask —
A cover-up to themselves and
God
We can't cover-up anything
from God — He died for our sins —
We must thank Him for His gifts —
We can pray all through the day —
thanking God for all He has given
to us — Sincerely and humbly recognizing
our unworthiness and God's love and
generosity toward us
Dear God let me see the beauty
of the ordinary and usual —
a beautiful flowering tree —
a love coming from a child's heart as
they greet us
a baby communicating - patty cake —
peek-a-boo — turning their head —
a smile
the ocean — time just being with Jesus —
the exposed Eucharist
the Mass
Help me not to act like I'm on a
"pity-pot" for some injury
I believe someone is doing to
me because of past anger and old wounds —
We can ask God to help us — all
through the day —
We can pray for guidance to help
us recognize our blind spots
toward any evil we are acting
out in our lives —
think of the lepers — think of
dark spots on our soul
We beg God to help us — We recognize
humbly — we are not the Power —
We are imperfect —
We rely on God
Jesus came a helpless baby into
the world —
We can be stuck 'real bad' when we
think we are perfect or
think we are to fix ourselves —
We need to be willing and
let God work in us —
We seek peace, harmony love —
I am connected to God in my
heart — we live to spread
the consecration and I am
connected with God in all
my thoughts —
I am the little child of the Father
I am under God
We need to recognize our absolute
dependence on God —
We are dependent on God —
I seek understanding from the Holy Spirit —
I come with an open mind
I pray for my persecutors
Did you ever see the poem footprints —
Surrender to God's guidance
Don't try to control things I shouldn't
God is in control
We pray to be free — to put our
trust in God
We can be a prisoner of our
own making because of control
To be free — we learn to accept —
We pay a price to live in peace
and joy — we surrender our
mind and will to God and don't try to
control what we should be controlling —
We must give our mind and will to God —
It is a weakness of the human nature
to try to dominate for dominance
sake —
We can be filled with bitterness,
self-pity, lie to ourselves,
that make our vision of
ourselves and others and God
more distorted
Since we don't see real reality as
it actually is —
Reality is how God sees it —
Much of our suffering is because
of our own actions — Self-inflected
Negative — run on thinking — blaming
others — acting disharmoniously —
setting fires to control others
for our own power —
controlling money and things for power
to control people
We may be an enabler, who will
not see our control that
is majorly hurting others
lives —
that we are trying to enforce
dysfunction on them —
We may project pain of the past —
divorce, loss of control of
children — in transferring
that loss of power to trying to control others —
We can look with a magnifying
glass at others and skip the
boulder in our eye about ourselves.
We can think of how we suffer
at the hands of others and never
never recognize how we make
others suffer —
To much run on thinking — mulling
over can make our situation
seem worse —
I can control my own behavior —
I can recognize my faults —
I can change my reaction —
I cannot be envious and try
to be even with what others did to
me.
Many are blind
Pray for grace for them
Think about trying to grow in
greater holiness ourselves —
God help me to accept my powerlessness —
God help me to focus on my recovery —
We can make our life more
miserable by how we think —
We can always be feeling cheated —
thinking grass is greener elsewhere
Everybody is imperfect —
We are to love and work together
Our parents told us things —
I remember telling a child she would
be a doctor —
She is a doctor —
If our parents told us we would marry
and live happily ever after is
it true
Children need to cut the umbilical
cord to be independent and
live as God intends
If a child grows up and still has all
the thoughts about themselves
mommy and daddy had — they
can be wrong today
A child may be telling themselves
today — they need a rich husband
because mama told them that —
And if they aren't rich — they can be
having great unhappiness —
A person always accusing others
for their problems soon has
no friends —
projection —
A man expecting a woman to bow
or wait on them —
Resentment is a rebellion in a
sense against our own
way of life —
We either have to surrender to
our way of life —
or quit — because living
with resentment — anger
discord — hatred is HELL

February 6, 2004 message
Messenger: Think
how important it is to Jesus these prayer
chapters are started by the priests in
their parishes around the world.
Today is First Friday.
9 years ago I got a message to have the
public gatherings on the 5th of
each month because of the 5
blasphemies against Mary and in
honor of the 5 wounds of Jesus.
Mary's Image February 5, 2004
Messenger: Last night the images were so beautiful in
Florida and we prayed so deeply for grace
and mercy and light for the world.
We prayed under the image with all our
hearts.
There is so much sin in the world — Many
do not obey the 10 commandments —
The Ten Commandments
I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not kill.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.
Messenger: Many
do not live by the Word of God.
Excerpt from November 4, 2001
Jesus speaks:
To those who pray My prayers I
promise the following special
graces:- A deeper understanding of the
Divine Mysteries through fervent
recitation of the litanies.- I promise a deeper love in your heart
for your God and a deeper love
for your fellowmen.- Those who pray the prayers fervently
will experience a deep union
in My Heart and My Mother's heart,
they will be given special insights
into My unfathomable love for men
and experience a thirsting within
themselves to want to help souls
through intercessory prayer and sacrifices.- They will have a deeper love of the Mass
through this deeper consecration.
[consecration to Their Hearts]- They will know Me more intimately.
- They will want to live their lives to
help save souls.- They will have a deeper love for the priests shepherds.
- They will have a deeper love and dedication
to the Church. (I founded)- They will want peace on the earth.
- They will want peace in their own hearts.- You will experience a fearlessness the more
you pray the Holy Spirit Novena prayers
given to you.- As you meditate on the scriptures you will
understand more fully the plan of
the Father to lead the souls into the
great Reign of My Sacred Heart.- You and all who pray the Holy Spirit Novena
and the Shepherds of Christ Prayers will be
united in a deep oneness with each other
and the souls of the earth.- The more you pray these prayers (both sets)
you will live in the truth as you
dwell in Our Hearts.- You will be given gifts of the Holy Spirit.
- You and your family will be protected by
My Precious Blood and your families
will receive special protection
against satan from fervent recitation
of the prayers. (the Holy Spirit Novena
and the Shepherds of Christ Prayers)- I promise to take you and the members of
your family in a special way
into My Sacred Heart. I will lavish
you in the fires of My love.- The priests and the people of the Church and the world
will receive special graces from the fervent
recitation of these prayers. (both sets)- I will unite My people in a deeper love
from the graces granted from
fervent recitation of these prayers.- I give these prayers from My image site
in Florida.
I appear there daily as the Sacred Heart.
Some see Me, some do not, but there
is a special presence there.
My Mother appears there for her children.- In the five years of her apparitions many
souls who have come have been
given special graces of conversion.
Many have been given grace to lead
them into a deeper love union with
God and the Blessed Virgin.
- The image site in Florida has touched
the world.- I outpour great grace to those who come
to the site.- There are tremendous graces of healing
granted to all who come.- People who come rarely leave unchanged.
- The grace granted works in their lives and in
their hearts, long after they have gone.- A reminder of their visit only need be given
and they experience a memory of
that moment.I ask you to circulate the prayers I have
given, the Shepherds of Christ Prayers
and the Holy Spirit Novena prayers.End of excerpt from November 4, 2001
