Mary says: The Family that prays
together, stays together.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Mary: The Bread of Life is the Eucharist and the Word. 27 years ago Jesus told Rita to "Feed the hungry" He has given you the Blue Books about the Eucharist. He has given you Fr. Joe's books about the Word. Feed the hungry. You are starving spiritually. The focus is on every minute
detail of the health of the body There is an imbalance in the
focus on health, and life I am your Mother Mary, Our Lady of Clearwater. I am your Spiritual Mother. |
Message from Jesus - September 26, 2018 - 3:00 a.m.
R. We never know what it is like to walk in another person's shoes.
We were uniquely created and called by God for a mission to help build the Kingdom of God,
but we must ask God to help us see through His eyes, see through faith, God's plan for us.
When I first saw Jesus' Sacred Heart I never thought other people did not see things. There was a special knowing in knowing Him after Communion December 17, 1991
and seeing His Heart open and on fire as it was.Not knowing what He meant when He told me then during the vision, what my seeing
Jesus' Sacred Heart would be what would lead so many to His Sacred Heart.
I understand more now 27 years later. Jesus is real. Jesus is with us.
Jesus loves us as He says in all these Blue Books.
These are Jesus' letters of love
To us - not just me - to us.
Jesus: If you believe, you would help circulate My letters of love to My hungry, starving souls.Spread My letters of love to My hungry souls.
R. For 6 weeks Jesus told me September and October 1991,
before I received these messages to "Feed the hungry".
Please help me.
Unless the messages of His love are circulated in the Church and the world,
Jesus said June 26, 1995 when I went to Florida sent by Him -
He said the blood shed in our Church will continue.
The Mass is the gift the priest brings us.The devil knows this.
We need these Morning offerings and messages to live united to Jesus and the Mass all day.
The Mass can bring down the supernatural grace needed for this troubled world.
Men can't solve this problem with men's plans and ignore God.
God has called us to this mission. So many have said "no" to Clearwater, "No" to Jesus.
This is a message God asked me to deliver.
Only with God's might can it change.
I have watched this deterioration of this world since I saw His Heart of love on fire for men
December 17, 1991.Then Mary appeared 5 years to the day after that.
We are called, we are chosen, we are loved and God has been our teacher. These are gifts not given to the greatest saints.
Clearwater is a gift.
This Movement is His instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world.
It isn't my or Fr. Carter's creation.Jesus: I call you to My Movement.
What gifts you have received from this and the Church in your life.

“He was in the world.” That’s the way He feeds us through His Word and through the Eucharist and that’s what He said for those 6 or 7 weeks, “Feed the hungry.” Then He started with all this Eucharist and then all the word stuff.Reference John 1: 10-14

And He gives to us His Body and His Blood, His Flesh in the Holy Eucharist.John 1: 14
...and we saw his glory, the glory that he has from the
Father as only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.Jesus:
I give to you My Body and My Blood in the Holy Eucharist. Come to Me, My beloved spouse. I am Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom of your soul. I wait for you. I love you. I long for you. Come to Me. I am giving to you the greatest grace this day. My hand is raised, but My hand is held back through the prayers that you are giving to Me in these meetings. I appreciate all the love from your hearts that you give. You must all operate in your hearts. Anyone that you deal with, you should operate in your heart.

R. What is love but relationship? God came and told us to love Him and to love one another. That is to tell us that we must have relationship. And we are deeply embedded in the Heart of Jesus, and it is hard, many times, to communicate with those in the world that are thinking about their fat cells and their socks. But what good is this if we are not carrying out what He has given to us to give to others? So we try, a little He says, but then He said yesterday in a message that a person has a free will, and if they have a will, you can coax them a little, but their will is their will. If they will not to change their will, it comes from within, it comes from their will. And so He said, and this is what He said about the Movement, that we were spending a lot of time trying to coax people who have already decided what they will do in their own will, that we can go so far and it is the will of the person within that must be willing to give. If a person is willful and will not change, they cannot remain in this Movement because our whole mission is to bring the world into doing the will of the Father, and we deal with these people. We deal with them everyday. And His advice yesterday was this, or His message, He said that the willfulness comes from within. If a person has a strong will and you have tried to help them and they will not comply, then you have to leave it go.10.
Jesus: I am leading the Church and the world into renewal through the Shepherds of Christ Movement. As you are brought forth more into perfection, it is through the experiences that you have experienced that these writings will enter into the world. For I am setting up this Movement according to an institution that will function according to the truth, a well oiled machine. In the end, it will be those living in the Father's will that will survive. Eve ate of the apple in the beginning of the Bible and she did her own will. In the end, there will be but one will. It will be the will of the Father. Those who oppose God's will are fighting God.R.
Thump, thump, thump, thump, and the cross was carried by the Savior of the world, and what was the message in His Heart? To the end, He did the Father's will.Song:

I am alive, I am alive, I am alive, and I live in the hearts of men.

Matthew 17: 14-20
As they were rejoining the crowd a man came up to him and went down on his knees before him. ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘take pity on my son: he is demented and in a wretched state; he is always falling into fire and into water. I took him to your disciples and they were unable to cure him.’ In reply, Jesus said, ‘Faithless and perverse generation! How much longer must I be with you? How much longer must I put up with you? Bring him here to me.’ And when Jesus rebuked it the devil came out of the boy, who was cured from that moment.
Then the disciples came privately to Jesus. ‘Why were we unable to drive it out?’ they asked. He answered, ‘Because you have so little faith. In truth I tell you, if your faith is the size of a mustard seed you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; nothing will be impossible for you.'
Homily by Fr. Mike
There are many things that we hear but some are a bit more perplexing and challenging than others. And for me this Gospel is one of the most challenging Gospels that we are faced with. Because it begins to bring about, I think, a lot of questions in many disciple's minds.
And Jesus says that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, in case you don't know how small that is - have you ever eaten a bread and butter pickle, that little yellow thing that goes floating around in the brine - that my dear friends is a mustard seed. So if you have faith the size of a mustard seed you will say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
And yet I think each and every one of us who are disciples here, I think that's all of us, because we wouldn't be here if that were not the case. We who are disciples of Jesus, we can tell stories how it seems that sometimes we have asked mountains to move and it doesn't seem like they moved. And it seems that, indeed, it is only nothing sometimes that seems to be possible to us.
And I think there's two dimensions for us disciples then that we need to be mindful of. We have an opening oration elsewhere that wasn't used today. But today's will be used as the number 2 thing. It says that every good thing has it's beginning in God. And so it's true. Only nothing is possible for us. It's interesting the disciples' question - why could we not drive it out. Why couldn't they drive it out? Because they're not God.
Margaret and I had a conversation as we were driving here today about this Gospel. And so she said, "You know sometimes when we're praying, we forget that it's God Who's doing the work and we get puffed up with pride, or we get more proud." I had to tease her a little bit because as an English teacher she said "prouder". And I said "prouder"? She said yeah it's not really a word, but.
So sometimes as we live our lives - we begin, as God does things through us as God's instruments, sometimes we can get puffed up with pride. And we forget that it's God who does the work and we are but an instrument. I mean that's an important part, you know. It's hard to get work done without instruments.
I mean can you imagine changing a tire without a tire iron? You've got to have the wrench, you've got to have the tool, you've got to have the instrument to get the work done. But the instrument is only but a small part.
Like the tire, example, you can't get the tire changed out with just the tool can you? You've got to have the one who will do the work, the one who will use the instrument in order to get the work accomplished.
And so I think this is the first then, lesson that we learn in the Gospel. We've got to remember at all times, that it is God Who is doing the work, not us. We are but instruments. And so we need to have a humble submission to our good and gracious God, and say, "Lord, I am but an instrument. Use me as You will."
I think we have a good example of that in Mary. "Let it be done to me according to Your will." What an instrument! Through her the Incarnate Word entered the world. And that Incarnate Word has achieved salvation for all the world. Such is God's gracious will for us.
So, I'm just going to repeat it one more time. It is true that nothing is only possible for us. And the only way that nothing will be impossible for us, is if we allow God to use us as God's instruments, for it is God who does the work.
The second aspect though is that, we forget just what faith is. Faith is a living relationship of trust in the one in whom we place our faith. That's the reason that we pray - increase our faith in You and bring our trust to it's promised fulfillment in the joy of Your Kingdom. Faith and trust are always bound together.
And so there is an aspect that Jesus says to us, that because of your little faith things can't be done. And that's because we don't trust. Jesus has given us many promises — promises us that if we have faith even the size of a mustard seed, things will be possible for us.
He promises us that if we ask in His name it will be given to us. He promises us that if we seek we will find, if we knock it will be opened to us, if we ask it will be given to us - good measure, pressed down, flowing over. But we've got to trust that God is doing it.
Now there are some aspects of that. Sometimes, and it sounds like a copout but it's the truth, but God's time is not always our time. See lets face it. You know, when one has a very rich parent, what normally happens to the child? Don't they normally become spoiled brats?
Well guess what? We have a very rich Father. And you know what that means? I don't mean to offend you or to offend myself, but you know what we are? We are a bunch of spoiled brats. And we want to say, "But God I want it now!"
And the truth of the matter is that sometimes our timing is off, and God's timing is true. And so we need to live in faith. We need to live in trust, that that for which we have prayed is being granted. The other thing is - have you ever heard this one - be careful what you ask for?
And I think that applies here too. That sometimes that for which we ask – the Spirit has stirred us to ask for the right thing, but in our limited minds and hearts, we haven't even begun to grasp that for which we ask. For instance, this is one of those lessons I learned in my mom's illness of lung cancer and her ultimate death.
I prayed for healing. I prayed for an end to suffering. I prayed for happiness for her. And then I wondered when she died. But oops. Oops! My limited, earthly-bound mind had forgotten the truth. The truth is, earthly death is not the end of the story. It's only a limit to our earthly sights. And that indeed with death, comes birth.
And it was when I was praying the Eucharistic prayer and the prayers that are specially meant for funerals, that it clicked. A place where every tear will be wiped away. You don't cry - you only cry when you are suffering. Right? I mean those kind of tears, right?
And so, it's like we have to have our minds open and live in faith, that perhaps what we've been praying for is happening. But the reason why we don't see it, is because we are thinking about it in a different way.
So, what then allows us to realize that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed we will recognize that nothing will be impossible for us. I think it's faith itself – that living, dynamic relationship with God. And who is that God that we have that faith relationship with – the God Who spared not even His only Son so that we might come to the glories of heaven. The God Who loves us. No more to be said.
And so if God has achieved our salvation out of love for us as St. Paul reminds us while we are still sinners, why would we think - oh maybe God's not listening, maybe God doesn't care, maybe this isn't true. And these are the things that plague us disciples when we are praying and things aren't being done quite like we expect. Or the time that we wanted. Hmm?
And so if we have real faith, that living, dynamic relationship with God who loves us beyond measure we recognize, you know what - we can relax. We can rest in that faith relationship held up by trust, that indeed what we have asked is being accomplished beyond our imaginings.
Now that was a lot of things easy to say but much more difficult to live. And yet we are called to live it and it comes, like with many other things, perfection in us only through practice. And also by having a deep and abiding relationship with God. So if we strengthen our relationship with God we will recognize this more clearly.
And that's why it's important for us to gather for retreat days. It's important for us to pray. It's important for us, most especially, to gather and offer the Eucharist. For here in this place our faith and trust is realized. For what is given to us is Jesus Himself in one another in the Word that is proclaimed, and preeminently in the Sacrament that we celebrate and share.
So that we might be connected with Christ more fully, so that our faith might be invigorated and our trust made more sound. So that we will realize more perfectly that if we have just a little faith, even the size of a mustard seed, we can even say to mountains, move from here to there, and it will move. That we will realize that indeed our prayers are answered beyond our imaginings and that nothing is impossible for us because we are instruments of God.

Homily by Fr. Barth (excerpt)
Luke 11: 29-32
The crowds got even bigger and he addressed them, ‘This is an evil generation; it is asking for a sign. The only sign it will be given is the sign of Jonah. For just as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so will the Son of man be a sign to this generation. On Judgement Day the Queen of the South will stand up against the people of this generation and be their condemnation, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, look, there is something greater than Solomon here. On Judgement Day the men of Nineveh will appear against this generation and be its condemnation, because when Jonah preached they repented; and, look, there is something greater than Jonah here.
Two things from the Gospel today. The first is a matter of a generation that is evil, and Jesus is very clear why the generation is evil — because they seek a sign. In other words, they want God to reveal God's self as they want God to reveal God's self. They want God to, if you will, bend God's will to their will. They want God to be the God like they want God to be, instead of God being God. And the generation, which is called evil, to be indeed subservant to God's will.
And I think we can recognize that in our own era. And not just beyond these walls, because even for ourselves who are gathered here, we must recognize that we also at times, are unfaithful, that we want God to give us a sign, that we want God to be the kind of God that we want God to be, and sometimes we don't submit ourselves to God's own will. Isn't that true? And so we gather here to seek God's mercy and God's forgiveness, and to be more in sync with God's will, so that we might be what we are called to be as Christians in the world — salts, lights and leaven. But Jesus responds to — the evil age wanting to see a sign, wanting to see God's action as they want it, with a response.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15 |

Priestly Newsletter — 2000 #1 — CD. — Christ is Our Strength — Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our—selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10 |
