Messenger: I write as I am directed.
It is purity and truth God wants.
We cannot lie, even little white lies
are not pleasing to Him.
We do not have to share everything with
everybody.
Some things are not the other's affair.
It is only in fervent prayer and surrendering
ourselves totally and completely to Him
that we will be more living according
to His will.
Because of our imperfections and dysfunctional
training we may not even see how we
need to change to be the way He desires.
Suffering is a part of our lives,
we must pray to use pleasures
according to God's will.
Many times as soon as people are given
suffering, they want to relieve it.
It is easy to see many times how we act
incorrectly by how we act when
we have problems.
In the heat of the problem do we turn to
Him and see it is an opportunity for
great grace to be released depending
on how we endure it.
Do we see the cross of Christ,
do we see Him crowned with thorns,
do we see Him carrying the cross,
do we see Him beaten at the pillar.
Meditating on the mysteries of the rosary
will help us to live in the truth.
We can be beaten down, but we always
have our focus on the resurrection.
Before my eyes constantly is the glory of
heaven.
Since Father Carter's death, I feel so deeply
connected to the angels and saints.
When I am suffering and I feel I need
to talk to him because I
miss him and his direction,
I miss the Masses he said, I miss the
confessions, I hear him say "I am
alive", and then I stop and meditate
he is more deeply united to God now
and I can be more deeply united to
him than when he was on earth.
I have found two very essential things.
I know Our Lord wants us to pray through
the powerful intercession of Father Carter for the
Movement, the priest and the Church and the world.
I know Our Lord wants us to pray strongly
through Our Lady of Clearwater.
Why would God give us such a gift
in the image and not expect us
to pray for the Reign of the Sacred
Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate
Heart through Our Lady of Clearwater?
The image is there to give us a message.
We should be united in this.
In praying for the Movement we pray so firmly
through the intercession of Father Edward Carter S.J.,
founder of the Shepherds of Christ Movement and the
intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater.
In the depth of suffering it is there we must
surrender to God's will. We cannot control
the universe. We give ourselves to God as
instruments to use to help to
spread His Kingdom on earth.
We see suffering as a part of life here below,
We recognize that God allows us to
suffer.
The untruths and sin in the world
cause us great suffering.
We long for completeness in Him, we
see before us always our oneness
with God in heaven, to be possessed
by Him, to see His face.
Our heart wants oneness with God and with
all others.
We do not want division, we want peace,
with men living according to God's
will, loving and serving Him as He so
desires.
When we unite as a body praying, united to
the Mass, and pray the prayers given
to us by Jesus (Shepherds of Christ Prayers, Holy Spirit
Novena) we are praying for this
oneness on this earth, we are praying
for grace to be released abundantly
for our priests, the Church and the
world.
In the depth of that suffering He sends,
Do we see Him?
Do we identify with Him when people
may call us crazy?
Do we realize that our suffering can
bring down great grace.
Sometimes people suffer when a great
grace is being granted.
He merited this grace through His
life, death and resurrection.
We must tap into this reservoir of this grace.
We in the Shepherds of Christ pray for the
whole world. We see them as our brothers,
we love them, we pray that His truth
will be in the hearts of the men
of this earth.
We pray, we reflect, we meditate on the
rosary, we seek purity.
I want to go right to heaven when I die.
I don't want to suffer in purgatory any
more than I have to.
I want to go right to heaven.
When we suffer here we can be preparing
ourselves for heaven depending
how we cooperate with the
suffering according to God's will.
Mary is our model.
Jesus is our model.
We can't look at the world and judge
how holy we are by other people.
We must look to Christ as our model.
We are here to be likened to Him.
We must model our lives after Mary
His most perfect disciple.
It is in the depth of suffering, that
we can accept it as a gift
from God that will draw us
closer to Him or we can try to
give it up so we can be relieved.
See Him hanging on the cross -
He accepted the suffering.
We are entirely dependent
on Him.
Genesis 1: 26-27
God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves, and let them be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild animals and all the creatures that creep along the ground.’
God created man in the image of himself,
in the image of God he created him,
male and female he created them.
Psalm 90: 17
May the sweetness of the Lord be upon us, to confirm the work we have done!

We thank all who have worked to help
the Shepherds of Christ to be what it is.
What Father Mike said
"May God bring to completion
the
good work He has begun in you."
We do not do it.
God works in us.
We must feel His might working in
us.
He can take our work and make
it accomplish what He wants.
We must give ourselves to Him.
I know this The Father, Son and
Holy Spirit dwell within me.
I am never alone.
In the depth of suffering I know
God is with me.
I see the world, I know much
grace can be released from
suffering.
In the depth of suffering I
can - Blame others
Hate others
become angry
or love all others deeply,
identify with Jesus
and beg God to use this
suffering to bring
down great grace
to help promote His
Kingdom, to help
souls to turn their
hearts to Him, to
ask for help for the funds in the Movement.
God showed us the way.
In meditating on the mysteries of the rosary
we see that suffering is
part of our lives.
The more we identify with Christ,
the more we live out the pascal
mystery of death - resurrection.
Suffering according to God's will can
lead us to a greater sharing
in His life.
We see the lives of the saints.
They were willing to suffer as God
willed them to do for the
sake of souls.
In meditating on the mysteries of the
rosary, we keep our focus on
Jesus, the New Adam as our
model and Mary the new
Eve as our model.
We see the incarnation goes on in our lives
as we are formed more and more in
His image and likeness.
We "put on Christ." We want to be made more
pure. We pray to have purity like Mary.
We endure the suffering as
He gives us according to God's will -
realizing that suffering is a
part of life and can lead us to a
deeper life in Him.

told us - we must pray the rosary.
She told us at Fatima until a sufficient
number of people have given their

"I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:
'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...
'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

My dear fellow Associate Members,
Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:
My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.
These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.
I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.
I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.
I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

If God allowed Mary, the
mother of God to suffer -
If God sent His only begotten
Son and He willed He
died on the cross -
we see our lives here as only
a way to the life
to come.
Our life here is in preparation for
our eternal reward.
