Messenger:         There is a point of destination.
                            I tried to get to a certain Mass
                                and there were so many reasons
                                that blocked me from getting
                                there.

                            On the way I saw so very many
                                wrecks.

                            The traffic was nonstop.

                            I saw many wrecks———

                            As I looked at the expressway

                                from above I saw 275 was
                                not moving at all and the other
                                lane had been closed entirely.

                            I could have traveled to Mass at the
                                Hospital in many ways and I chose
                                a certain way to get there
                                from where I was.

                            I saw a beautiful red car that
                                was all bashed in.

                            When we get up we can think of
                                each day as looking in a box.

                            We do not know what will be
                                in the box that day when
                                we open it.

                            Satan tries many times to get
                                our focus off of what we need
                                to do.

                            We may have to fight the temptation
                                and not give into our impulses
                                to get us involved in
                                something that will surely
                                block what we know God
                                wants us to do.

                            Some things we cannot control—
                                like the traffic once we
                                are in it, but we can
                                control our thoughts and
                                our actions.

                            Satan doesn't want us to be
                                productive doing God's work,
                                but if we quit on something
                                when we are being blocked
                                we must know it will not
                                get done by us if we decide
                                not to do it.

                            Look at the whole world.

                            Jesus came and gave His life for
                                the souls.

                            Every moment of our lives must
                                be lived to help spread His
                                Kingdom.

                            We cannot give into frustration
                                and feeling sorry for ourselves.

                            We ask God—what do you want
                                me to do?

                            We try to accomplish what He
                                wants.

                            If we give into all the traps
                                satan sets for us we will never
                                get anything done.

Messenger:        Well I still tried to get to the hospital
                                for Mass and soon after sitting
                                in traffic and traffic and getting
                                off, I saw signs that said
                                hospital—all the way, signs
                                to the hospital—lots of
                                them—

                            I thought Jesus surely wanted me at the
                                hospital when on so many poles,
                                down a road I did not even recognize
                                I saw blue hospital signs.

                            I followed them and felt I could see
                                God watching me. I felt like I was
                                in a labyrinth with orange barrels,
                                stopped traffic and wrecked cars.
                                There were flag men and people
                                going every way.

                                When I finally arrived at the hospital

                                    for Mass all the elevators were stuck on
                                    floor 5 and I waited and
                                    waited for the elevator
                                    to open——

                            I look forward to Mass all day, many
                                times I go to two Masses because
                                I want to pray for the priests,
                                the Church and the world and
                                the things we need.

                            Well I missed the Mass.

                            I long to receive Jesus and I remember
                                missing the Eucharist once when
                                I was too late for Mass because
                                of traffic where I was teaching
                                college math.

                                I went in the ladies room and I
                                    cried.

                                What is the meaning for me telling
                                    you this?

                            Think of what it would be like to not
                                have the availability of the Eucharist.

                            We take the great gift of the Mass for
                                granted.

                            I can see a problem like all the road
                                blocks and all the traffic and
                                the orange cones and the stopped
                                elevators and crowded parking
                                lots—they are reasons why
                                I may not be able to go to Mass,

                                but is the writing anymore plain
                            than this, that there are fewer and
                            fewer priests and less and less
                            Masses.

                                Many young boys are not being
                            encouraged to even go to Church.
                            Even in Catholic schools, the young
                            men are not taught about the great
                            gift of the priesthood and the great
                            gift of the Eucharist.

                                It is such an honor to have a man
                            celebrate Mass, to be given the
                            power to celebrate Mass and
                            change bread and wine into
                            the Body and Blood of Jesus.

                            FEWER and FEWER PRIESTS

                            LESS and LESS MASSES

                            Oh I wanted to go to Mass so much, my
                                day focuses on my attending Mass.
                                I love the Mass so much, I love
                                to go to Communion.

                            We have the availability of lots of Masses
                                in Cincinnati.

                            Last summer, I went to Utah
                                I had to travel almost 1 & 1/2 hours
                                to go to Mass.

                            When I got to Mass I was so very grateful.

                            I see myself, talking about lots of
                                things.

                            I see myself spending time on so
                                many things.

                            Sometimes we can talk too much,
                                sometimes we can talk too little.

                            I know this——this is constant—
                                there are 24 hours in everyday
                                and I am going to live only
                                so many days.

                            The children came and they grew and
                                they leave the house to begin their
                                lives in a new way.

                            Oh my people—Sunrise—Sunset—

                                Mary has appeared now for almost 6
                                    years on the building in Florida.

                            We really need the payment on the building
                                to keep reaching the priests and
                                bishops with the mission Jesus
                                gave to Fr. Carter to give them the
                                Priestly Newsletter and begin prayer
                                chapters praying for the priests,
                                the Church and the world.

                            WE NEED PRIESTS!! WE MUST PRAY FOR THEM!

                            I wanted the Mass so very much.

                            I felt as if I was going from one obstacle
                                to another to get to Mass and
                                "guess what" I didn't get there.

                            The world is headed in this direction—
                                more and more communion services—
                                less and less priests—
                                less and less Masses.

                            Do you believe that with the state the
                                world is in and the problems
                                we have struggled with in the
                                Church, that it is so severe
                                that God gave us this vision of 
                                Mary which appears to be
                                permanent on a finance building
                                in the sunny state of Florida where
                                there is so much nudity and
                                so much entertainment that
                                is not what God wants.

                            Do you believe, Mary, all pure, would
                                come to the state of Florida where
                                people travel to from all over
                                the world.

                            SHE IS THE LADY CLOTHED WITH THE SUN

                      MARY HAS APPEARED IN SUNNY FLORIDA NOW FOR 6 YEARS

                                not sunny Florida.

                            What about light—

                            the ability to see facts—

                            the fact that our Masses are dwindling—

                            the fact Our Lord asked Fr. Carter to begin
                                this movement to pray for
                                our beloved priests—

                            Do we see—

                            Fewer and fewer priests.

                            Do we pray for our priests!!

                            Do we pray for our world!!

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

  
My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

    This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
2. For the Pope.
3. For all bishops of the world.
4. For all priests.
5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.
7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
8. For all members of the human family.
9. For all souls in purgatory.
