Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Faith, Hope and Love

R. Jesus calls us to lead
us on the road to grow
in faith, hope and love.
The deadly sins are sins.
If a person is jealous and
acts on it, it leads to
other sins, hurting others,
blocking God’s will.
The person can become
so deadlocked in their
way they will not tolerate
what is God’s will, they
do all they can to block
God’s will for their will.
Bad habits are like big
roots, they take over,
there is not room in a
heart, that is over run
in deep rooted bad
habits of the deadly sin.

We must pray for grace,
confess these bad habits,
ask for forgiveness,
repent of our sins.

God is love, Love gives,
from the heart for the
good of the other.

In baptism we receive
the supernatural virtues
of faith, hope, and love.

God: Father, Son and
Holy Spirit dwell in the
graced, baptized soul.

When Satan works in
the person - he keeps
making being right,
their god.
It becomes automatic,
they may ignore
authority over them or
have constant competition,
because of wanting to be
over just authority, this
is disorder, disorder has
consequences, always.

We need supernatural
faith deeply rooted in
our soul to see the
vision of the Father and
do His will.

We hope for our eternal
life and prepare our
hearts by seeking to
know God ever deeper.
In hope we want our
brothers to go to heaven
and help them.

In supernatural love we
share in God’s loving
activity.

As St. Paul says: "I have
been crucified with
Christ, it’s no longer I
who live, but Christ
lives in me."

We want God to dwell
and operate in our hearts
and live virtuously.

Remember the parable
of the 10 virgins.
5 were foolish, 5 were
wise.

The wise virgins prepared
for the bridegroom, they
had lighted lamps.

When the bridegroom
came, they went in.

The five foolish virgins
were not prepared and
when the bridegroom
came, they could not
go in.

The Holy Spirit gives
us His gifts in our
relationship with Him.
The Holy Spirit infuses
wisdom and knowledge
and understanding into
our intellect.

God gives us so much.
Our lives are lived
according to God’s will
in love.

God please give us the
grace we need most.

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

    I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

    I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

    When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

Glorious Mysteries

The Resurrection

1. Jesus: Let go! I died on
    the cross, I rose on the third
    day.
2. Jesus: Turn your will and your
    life over to God.
3. Meditate on the withered
    body of Jesus as He hung
    on the cross. See vividly
    before your eyes this body
    covered with blood and
    wounded.
    Jesus Christ gave His all. He
    died. He was locked in a
    tomb for three days, then
    on the third day, He rose
    victorious from that tomb.
4. Jesus came to bring us
    new life.
5. Think of the price Jesus
    paid to do this for us.
6. See Jesus as He comes
    forth from the tomb.
7. This is our beloved Jesus
    that came to this earth, and
    gave Himself because of
    His great love for us.
8. Let us open our heart,
    and let Him fill us with His
    abundant grace and His
    Love.
9. Jesus is truly present in
    the Eucharist.

(Fr. Carter was there immensely sick
this day and still delivered this homily.)

HOMILY - (John 19: 31-37) On October 13, 1992 I was privileged to be at Fatima for the 75th Anniversary of the final apparition of Our Lady at Fatima and it truly was a momentous occasion. I'm told a plaza there which stretches for 100s of yards, a 100 yards at one end and then down all the way up to the steps of the Basilica, I'm told it holds about a million people, that it's filled for that day, so there was a million people there. At the middle of that great plaza there is a huge statue of the Sacred Heart and He has His arms outstretched, like this, as if inviting all to His most precious Heart, which was pieced
on Calvary for our salvation. And also those arms can symbolize, as they did on the cross, I held nothing back, I loved you completely. He still loves us completely, especially as He comes to us in the Eucharist.

    So that statue at Fatima, the Sacred Heart, more importantly, that Calvary scene itself, of Jesus' arms outstretched is a symbol of His complete self-giving. And when water and blood flowed from His pierced side, as today's gospel tells us, this is another symbol that Jesus gave us in His love for us, up until His complete pouring out of His Heart from His side of blood and water.

    The symbol of Jesus' Sacred Heart then, is not only a symbol of His love, in all it's aspects, but in reminding us that He is giving us Himself to His complete self-giving. It is also a symbol, which calls for our return of love, our complete giving of self in love. And it is especially in the Eucharist and the blood flowing from Jesus' side, as mentioned in today's gospel, as a symbol of the Eucharist; it is especially in the Eucharist that we receive the life, the strength to surrender in total consecration to Jesus through the heart of Mary each day of our lives.

And so let us not waste any of the graces in the Eucharist which cost Jesus so very, very, very much. Each day as we receive Him in the Eucharist, let us ask Him for the strength for that day in particular, for all our days, taking one day at a time and strength to give ourselves to Him as consecrated, surrendering in love, not only for our own spiritual life but spiritual benefits for the whole world.

Talking about Jesus on the cross, St. Ignatius of Loyola in his great work, the Spiritual Exercises, he would have the retreatant kneel before the crucifix and realizing all that Jesus had done for him, for her, for all, Ignatius asks us to kneel before a crucifix, in reality or one before our mind's eye, he asks us to ask ourselves these 3 questions. What have I done for Christ? What am I doing for Christ? What ought I do for Christ?

The Ascension into Heaven

1. Jesus ascended into
    heaven and a cloud took
    Him from their sight.
2. Jesus remains with us
    truly present in the
    Eucharist.
3. Jesus: I am calling you to
    be My apostles, to go forth
    into this world this day, and
    to carry the messages of
    My love to all those that are
    suffering and in pain.
4. Jesus no longer walks
    this earth. He ascended into
    heaven, but He left the
    apostles behind to carry out
    His work. This day we are
    called to carry this message
    to those He loves in the
    world. Many are blind. They
    do not even realize how
    God loves them.
5. Jesus: Oh, My beloved
    ones, I am asking you to
    surrender, and to give Me
    your hearts. It is in
    surrendering that I will unite
    in such oneness with you.
    If you give yourself to My
    Sacred Heart, we will unite
    in this oneness. You must
    not hold back.
6. The seeds of time move
    exceedingly slow, and the
    hearts of men are slow to
    change.
7. Man must stop offending
    God or we will suffer much.
8. Jesus: Look how the
    children of this world are
    suffering.
9. Jesus: Pray as I have
    instructed Father Carter, for
    the Priests, the Church,
    and the world.
10. Jesus: I am alive, I am
    alive, I am alive, spread the
    message of My love.
 

The Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and the Virgin Mary

1. Acts 2: 1-4

When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.

    There are five blasphemies against Mary. She has asked us to make the first Saturday devotion. Sr. Lucia ask Our Lord why there were five first Saturdays.

    He revealed to her:

My daughter, the reason is simple. There are five types of offenses and blasphemies committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

1. Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.
2. Blasphemies against Her Perpetual Virginity.
3. Blasphemies against Her Divine Maternity, in refusing
     at the same time to recognize Her as the Mother of men.
4. The blasphemies of those who publicly seek to sow in 
      the hearts of children indifference or scorn, or even 
      hatred of this Immaculate Mother.
5. The offenses of those who outrage Her directly in Her holy images.⁴⁶

Satan is relentless, wanting

The devil blocks any love he

confusion, darkness,
relentless in his endeavors
to do his dirty work in souls.

Where Satan is, is a battle,
the battle is with Satan.

And Holy is God's name, we
are witnesses of holiness
and truth.
We must fight the
temptation of the devil.
We cannot let bad habits of
the deadly sins block our
moving ahead in holiness.

There is not a drop of lies,
jealousy in heaven.

In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10
