Dear Jesus,
You wash me in the wounds
in your hands — I bathe in
your wounds —
Sufferings are fragrant
gems that give me solace
in the midst of the woe
as I am so deeply one
with Thee.
Emptying myself of all the
angers I know of the past — I
am like a plumber cleaning
a clogged pipe — I am like the
snow plow to the paralyzed road
covered deeply with snow —
I am the doctor with the light
on my forehead looking inside
the body — saying
oh — here is your problem — fix
the leak — clog the hole — fill
the vat with God's precious gift
of grace — empty out the debris —
unforgiveness, hatred, jealousy,
pride, envy toward others — let
go of inordinate attachments —
Be the empty vessel waiting His
favors.
Oh Holy Spirit —
Melt the stubborn
bend the stubborn
open the gates to freedom
where there was once slavery to sin
acting in stuffed anger toward the innocent
Free them
Turn the light of your love on the stuffed anger
Turn the warmth of the fire on the frozen
heart
Melt clogged vessels of frozen icy barriers to love
Let the hearts be filled with hope and healing
Please help their hearts to see truth
Please help them to see what is right as right
and help them to see wrong as wrong
Oh Holy Spirit — make the path of their hearts
padded in pillows of God's love —
flowing like a bubbling brook —
emptying into others —
by Your fire within them
Once a big clogged vessel burst —
infection could be seen — round
about —
What happens to our hearts bursting with
hatred and anger — lived with the
lies of impurity — deception —
I'm good they say —
I'm nice
Welling up inside like a clogged
vessel of unforgiveness —
about to sink from the heavy load —
How heavy is the load we carry
in our dainty hearts —
how much grease stored inside
lets fluid flow
Does hatred and anger, sins, block the lights
of love of our spiritual heart —
Can I talk about matter to make the
invisible more understood
Does hatred take up space — or is
it seen in the wrinkles and red face
after the invisible flares up
Does love smile in the gentle clean
heart and lend compassion because
it is not caught up in the selfish —
wounded heart that reacts like
a match set to paper
Where will fruit grow, but in the fertile soil —
On rocks and thistles the fruit tress
could not live
And yet the spiritual, love, hate, anger
has no body weight
A man beet angry with red heat has
a tight tense inside — even
when he lies about it with a stone face
Compassion and Empathy come in a heart
filled with God's love and His life
Hatred is beet red in the face of one
picking at twigs like they are
hundreds of year old tall timbers —
A twig is a twig you say
A tall timber — a tall timber
But to the man consumed in anger —
like a burning twig can set a forest on fire
A flower is fragrant — when one walks
in the room — its sweetness is
smelled —
Tension is felt as hostility, hatred, a
business type attitude — tense —
do they ever rest in the pillow
of love —
sink in the green flowered garden —
smell the ocean —
see the sunset and
wake to the sun rise
Is the mind running like an old jalopy
at night and too wound up to settle
in a nice clean garage.
When the shades of morning start against
the black sky is the old jalopy
ready to start on the journey
consumed in the darkness of
another day — a day of tense —
worry — unsettled and unfinished
business —
Does the jalopy open doors all day to
others and when they try to engage
and get in for the ride — speed away
to leave others in their unfinished
business.
A new fresh car — open doors — invites
others in and gives them the ride
of engagement — taking them
to tea and resting by the ocean?
When the jalopy could have rested —
it created more unrest
more unfinished business
more tension —
What is truth —
truth is embracing one's self
inside —
truth is the empty vessel — that
can be busy, but wrapped
in love — able to
smell flowers — to go in and out of
doors — to not be slavishly
dependent —
One lives to have unity with the Creator —
One is compassionate
One lives in God's will — doing all
things for His honor and glory —
The old jalopy does things to manipulate
and control — thinks little of
God's will and
their motives are impure
Wanting affections from others for
their labors to further
manipulate and use others
Purity is a sweet as the face of
the Virgin Mary
The Blue of the sky
the softness of her mantle on
her children
the rolling green hills of summer —
the light so blinding dancing on the water —
the reflection of God seen in the
life of Mary
Mary the pure vessel
Mary the spotless Virgin
How many waters did you give us
God that reflected the beauty
of the sky
Reflection —
And God lives in the graced soul
Colossians 1: 15-20 He is the image of the unseen God, the
first–born of all creation, for in him were created all
things in heaven and on earth: everything visible and
everything invisible, thrones, ruling forces,
sovereignties, powers—all things were created through
him and for him. He exists before all things and in him
all things hold together, and he is the Head of the
Body, that is, the Church. He is the Beginning, the
first–born from the dead, so that he should be supreme
in every way; because God wanted all fullness to be
found in him and through him to reconcile all things to
him, everything in heaven and everything on earth, by
making peace through his death on the cross.

The Mystery of Christ and
1
Christian
Existence
In
reference to Christianity, God himself is the
ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other
and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life,
unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly
look at this inner life of God. The Father, in a
perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of
knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is,
then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the
reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all
eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the
Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving. end of excerpt
At the destined moment in human history, God's
self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into
man's world. God's inner self-expression now had
also become God's outer self-expression.
Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery
of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself,
about his inner life, about his plan of creation and
redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most
intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us
their own life through grace. All this he has
accomplished and does accomplish through Christ. St.
Paul tells us: "I became a minister of this Church
through the commission God gave me to preach among
you his word in its fullness, that mystery hidden
from ages and generations past but now revealed to
his holy ones. God has willed to make known to them
the glory beyond price which this mystery brings to
the Gentiles—the mystery of Christ in you, your hope
of glory. This is the Christ we proclaim while we
admonish all men and teach them in the full measure
of wisdom, hoping to make every man complete in
Christ" (Col 1:25-28).
