    So then, as you received Jesus as Lord and Christ, now live your lives in him, be rooted in him and built up on him, held firm by the faith you have been taught, and overflowing with thanksgiving. 
    Make sure that no one captivates you with the empty lure of a ‘philosophy’ of the kind that human beings hand on, based on the principles of this world and not on Christ.

    In him, in bodily form, lives divinity in all its fullness, and in him you too find your own fulfilment, in the one who is the head of every sovereignty and ruling force. 
    In him you have been circumcised, with a circumcision performed, not by human hand, but by the complete stripping of your natural self. This is circumcision according to Christ. You have been buried with him by your baptism; by which, too, you have been raised up with him through your belief in the power of God who raised him from the dead. You were dead, because you were sinners and uncircumcised in body: he has brought you to life with him, he has forgiven us every one of our sins.

    He then came down with them and stopped at a piece of level ground where there was a large gathering of his disciples, with a great crowd of people from all parts of Judaea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon who had come to hear him and to be cured of their diseases. People tormented by unclean spirits were also cured, and everyone in the crowd was trying to touch him because power came out of him that cured them all.

A Message from Jesus

Jesus speaks:      I have called you by name.
                        Satan wants to stop the work at hand.
                        Be doers. Promote My Kingdom.

                            I give you the Virgin Mary on the
                        building. I appear on the building.
                        There are so many imperfections.
                        I want to renew My religious
                        communities.

                        I want people to come to My religious
                            communities and for them to live
                            in harmony and love. Acting as
                            a body in oneness to help
                            promote My Kingdom.

                        I want people in the work place to

                            I want colleges and universities to
                        bring forth young people ready for
                        a religious way of life.

                            I have given this movement to

                        communities of brothers, sisters and priests loving one another -

        A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS

The one of Christ, our supreme leader and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our

PRAYER.   The usual preparatory prayer.

137. FIRST PRELUDE.   This is the history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard, and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.

138. SECOND PRELUDE.   This is a mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain, comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.

139. THIRD PRELUDE.   This is to ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander, and the grace to imitate Him.
   

FIRST PART

THE STANDARD OF SATAN

140. FIRST POINT.   Imagine you see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.

141. SECOND POINT.   Consider how he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state of life, no individual is overlooked.

142. THIRD POINT.   Consider the address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.

   The first step, then, will be riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one leads to all other vices.
   

SECOND PART

THE STANDARD OF CHRIST

143.   In a similar way, we are to picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.

144. FIRST POINT.   Consider Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.

145. SECOND POINT.   Consider how the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc., and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among all men, no matter what their state or condition.

The Twelve Steps of AA

            Here are the steps we took, which are suggested as a program of recovery:

                    1.  We admitted we were powerless over alcohol,
                            that our lives had become unmanageable.

                    2.  Came to believe that a Power greater than
                            ourselves could restore us to sanity.

                    3.  Made a decision to turn our will and our lives
                            over to the care of God as we understood Him.

                    4.  Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

                    5.  Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human
                            being the exact nature of our wrongs.

                    6.  Were entirely ready to have God remove all
                            these defects of character.

                    7.  Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

                    8.  Made a list of all persons we had harmed,
                            and became willing to make amends to them all.

                    9.  Made direct amends to such people wherever possible,
                            except when to do so would injure them or others.

                    10.  Continued to take personal inventory and when we
                            were wrong promptly admitted it.

                    11.  Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our
                            conscious contact with God as we understood Him,
                            praying only for knowledge of His will for us and
                            the power to carry that out.

                    12.  Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps,
                            we tried to carry this message to alcoholics,
                            and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

The Fall

But of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden God said, "You must not eat it, nor touch it, under pain of death." ' Then the snake said to the woman, 'No! You will not die! God knows in fact that the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil.' The woman saw that the tree was good to eat and pleasing to the eye, and that it was enticing for the wisdom that it could give. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realised that they were naked. So they sewed fig-leaves together to make themselves loin-cloths.

The man and his wife heard the sound of Yahweh God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from Yahweh God among the trees of the garden. But Yahweh God called to the man. 'Where are you?' he asked. 'I heard the sound of you in the garden,' he replied. 'I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.' 'Who told you that you were naked?' he asked. 'Have you been eating from the tree I forbade you to eat?' The man replied, 'It was the woman you put with me; she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.' The man named his wife 'Eve' because she was the mother of all those who live. Yahweh God made tunics of skins for the man and his wife and clothed them. So Yahweh God expelled him from the garden of Eden, to till the soil from which he had been taken. You can still master him.’ Cain said to his brother Abel, ‘Let us go out’; and while they were in the open country, Cain set on his brother Abel and killed him. 
    Yahweh asked Cain, ‘Where is your brother Abel?’ ‘I do not know,’ he replied. ‘Am I my brother’s guardian?’ ‘What have you done?’ Yahweh asked. ‘Listen! Your brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground. Now be cursed and banned from the ground that has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood at your hands. Revelation 12: 1-18

    Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth. Then a second sign appeared in the sky: there was a huge red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and each of the seven heads crowned with a coronet. Its tail swept a third of the stars from the sky and hurled them to the ground, and the dragon stopped in front of the woman as she was at the point of giving birth, so that it could eat the child as soon as it was born. The woman was delivered of a boy, the son who was to rule all the nations with an iron sceptre, and the child was taken straight up to God and to his throne, while the woman escaped into the desert, where God had prepared a place for her to be looked after for twelve hundred and sixty days. 
    And now war broke out in heaven, when Michael with his angels attacked the dragon. The dragon fought back with his angels, but they were defeated and driven out of heaven. The great dragon, the primeval serpent, known as the devil or Satan, who had led all the world astray, was hurled down to the earth and his angels were hurled down with him. Then I heard a voice shout from heaven, ‘Salvation and power and empire for ever have been won by our God, and all authority for his Christ, now that the accuser, who accused our brothers day and night before our God, has been brought down. They have triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word to which they bore witness, because even in the face of death they did not cling to life. So let the heavens rejoice and all who live there; but for you, earth and sea, disaster is coming—because the devil has gone down to you in a rage, knowing that he has little time left.’ 
    As soon as the dragon found himself hurled down to the earth, he sprang in pursuit of the woman, the mother of the male child, but she was given a pair of the great eagle’s wings to fly away from the serpent into the desert, to the place where she was to be looked after for a time, two times and half a time.  So the serpent vomited water from his mouth, like a river, after the woman, to sweep her away in the current, but the earth came to her rescue; it opened its mouth and swallowed the river spewed from the dragon’s mouth. Then the dragon was enraged with the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children, who obey God’s commandments and have in themselves the witness of Jesus. 

And I took my stand on the seashore.

Then a voice came from the throne; it said, ‘Praise our God, you servants of his and those who fear him, small and great alike.’ And I heard what seemed to be the voices of a huge crowd, like the sound of the ocean or the great roar of thunder, answering, ‘Alleluia! The reign of the Lord our God Almighty has begun; let us be glad and joyful and give glory to God, because this is the time for the marriage of the Lamb. His bride is ready, and she has been able to dress herself in dazzling white linen, because her linen is made of the good deeds of the saints.’ The angel said, ‘Write this, “Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb,” ’ and he added, ‘These words of God are true.’ Then I knelt at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, ‘Never do that: I am your fellow–servant and the fellow–servant of all your brothers who have in themselves the witness of Jesus. God alone you must worship.’ The witness of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 21: 1-8

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth;  the first heaven and the first earth had disappeared now, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride dressed for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice call from the throne, ‘Look, here God lives among human beings. He will make his home among them; they will be his people, and he will be their God, God–with–them. He will wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning or sadness or pain. The world of the past has gone.’ Then the One sitting on the throne spoke. ‘Look, I am making the whole of creation new. Write this, “What I am saying is trustworthy and will come true.” Then he said to me, ‘It has already happened. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water from the well of life free to anybody who is thirsty; anyone who proves victorious will inherit these things; and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the legacy for cowards, for those who break their word, or worship obscenities, for murderers and the sexually immoral, and for sorcerers, worshippers of false gods or any other sort of liars, is the second death in the burning lake of sulphur.’

Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay everyone as their deeds deserve. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who will have washed their robes clean, so that they will have the right to feed on the tree of life and can come through the gates into the city. Others must stay outside: dogs, fortune–tellers, and the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters, and everyone of false speech and false life.’ 

    I, Jesus, have sent my angel to attest these things to you for the sake of the churches. I am the sprig from the root of David and the bright star of the morning.

September 9, 2003 message continues

Jesus speaks:      Purity comes from within. A man searched
                        his whole life for a home, he would
                        live with others and always have the same
                        problems relating. At long last he
                        said I will live alone. When he was
                        alone, he longed to be with others, when
                        he was with others he was irritated,
                        angry and usually pouting for being
                        wronged by others or screaming to get
                        his needs met. His whole life was
                        lived like this. He thought he would
                        go to new pastures and everything
                        would be fine, then they would understand
                        and love me, recognize me and I would
                        use my talents and be admired by all,
                        but when he went from place to place
                        the people seemed the same, sometimes
                        worse and his needs were never met. He
                        was always hurt by others who failed to
                        put up with his ways and recognize
                        him.

                            In the new place he was forced to
                        isolate, flee, and be just as angry or
                        more than before. When he was with others
                        he pouted or screamed as before.

                            He wanted to be with others, but only
                        to fill his needs. He saw only the fact
                        he needed love. He wanted to do exactly
                        as he wished, come and go when he wanted
                        and expected everyone to love him and
                        accept him and give him honor and recognition.

                            Because of his inability to live with
                        others he was forced to live alone. He
                        didn't want this at all, but he could
                        not find a situation except like all
                        the others. He was selfish and played games
                        in the relationships to get control
                        and he forced others to wait and wait when
                        he made appointments he did
                        others things when the appointment
                        time came. When asked to do a job he
                        would do unrelated things and made the
                        job take three times as long, while others
                        waited and waited. He wanted people
                        waiting for him. He wanted to be in charge
                        and help others by being the teacher,
                        they would all listen, he would have
                        the answers for them. He did it all
                        for recognition for himself not to really
                        help others, he wanted the glory. He argued
                        with those over him to be above
                        them. Being with him was stressful
                        because of his constant discontent inside
                        and how he was - for him, depended on
                        how he was received and recognized by
                        others. But he did things to cause
                        disharmony with others and others didn't
                        want to be upset and play his sordid games.

                            He sabotaged his own time to have
                        harmony by creating disharmony and
                        then projecting his own disharmony on
                        others.

                            People around him did nothing to
                        him, but put up with his behavior
                        and he accused them of doing things to
                        him - he pouted or screamed.

                            Mary Lou just loved herself. She
                        loved God. She was focused on others.
                        Where the man made everyone pay when
                        he was involved through his sordid
                        manipulative games, Mary Lou did
                        the work in 1/3 of the time, people
                        loved her and wanted her around.
                        Everyone worked hard for Mary Lou,
                        she complimented them, she loved
                        them and loved herself.

                            I am God, I came and I gave My all
                        for the brethren, never once did I pout,
                        I said what I said and I didn't change
                        it. People that say one thing - and then
                        change it, project their own bad
                        habits on others. People that are deceptive
                        and lie blame others of their own
                        faults. The devil is the father of
                        lies and deception. To play manipulative
                        games and hurt others, to always be
                        focused on oneself and working out
                        your relationship inside and out,
                        upside and down, keeps one from
                        having the joy of living.

                            Satan is dark. Satan wants division.
                        When satan is at work there is a negative
                        energy. People can feel the good will
                        of love. People can feel the discontent
                        that comes with division and hatred.

                            Satan is hatred, bitterness, envy,
                        jealousy, greed, pride, (selfishness comes from satan).

                            I am love, kindness, I am the one
                        who gave Himself for you.

                            If you want to model yourself after
                        Me you will act like Me.

                            Anything else is not of Me.

                            Do you act like Me?

                            Some people cannot seem to get
                        close to others. They become so
                        self-focused and yet they constantly
                        do not move ahead.

                            It is how they see themselves
                        that is harmful.

                            They tell themselves others are
                        thinking things they aren't thinking.
                        They leave a trail of wounded people
                        behind. They are prideful and will not
                        look at themselves or ever say they
                        are sorry. They will not admit they
                        were wrong.

                            Some people will not take directions.
                        Because someone gave them directions they
                        had to follow when young possibly with
                        force and criticism they steer away from simple
                        requests to take out the garbage or do
                        a simple assignment - they want to change
                        it and get control, then some - when they
                        do get the permission
                        don't do what they wanted to because they got permission
                        and wanted it totally their way, when
                        they wanted.

                            Dealing with people like this is a
                        constant battle of wills. The issue is
                        not the work at hand or project it
                        is their controlling it. They do not
                        work peaceably with others. The time
                        working together is stressful because they
                        can blow-up at any second for no reason.
                        The tension is in them. In time they can
                        tear a place apart. There is little love,
                        harmony and work ethics, they operate
                        for selfish control and manipulation.
                        Many businesses have folded because
                        the one in authority is plagued by this
                        imperfection. As far as growth - there
                        is none.

                            Who would come and subject themselves
                        to constant tension. The tension is in
                        the party - to fail to be directed by anyone
                        and to fail to utilize the moment in
                        living productively for the common good
                        and to build My Kingdom.

                            Their world inside themselves is plagued
                        by tension, hatred, division, ill thoughts
                        about others and thoughts of hatred
                        that they believe others are thinking
                        about them.
