February 13, 2024

R. Do you feel the presence of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants this relationship with us.
We are here to grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.

Jesus: Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God, All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.

Meditate, empty your mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a spiritual communion, now.

Take time, be alone with Me.

Everyday during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be alone with Me.

This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this, all thru Lent.

I went into the desert to pray for
40 days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

March 31, 2024 - Easter

R. A dead body cannot rise from the dead.
Jesus died on the cross, was placed in
the tomb.

On the third day He rose from the dead in
glory - His body, glorified.

He came to give us life.
Jesus is our Savior, our Redeemer.
The victory is won.

1 Corinthians 15: 53-57

because this perishable nature of ours must put on imperishability, this mortal nature must put on immortality. And after this perishable nature has put on imperishability and this mortal nature has put on immortality, then will the words of scripture come true: Death is swallowed up in victory. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin comes from the Law. Thank God, then, for giving us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.

March 30, 2024

R. This little light of mine, I’m going to
let it shine.

Jesus rose on the third day in His
glorified body.

Jesus rose in sparkling light.

Jesus rose as He foretold.

Romans 6: 3-5

You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father’s glorious power, we too should begin living a new life. If we have been joined to him by dying a death like his, so we shall be by a resurrection like his;

R. Therefore it is evident that the whole
of the Christian life must be oriented to
the Mass and be centered about it; for in
Christ we see His entire life centered
around His priestly act of Calvary.
The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary,
sacramentally made present.

R. We live out the Mass in our lives.

        Morning Offering

Dear Father,
I offer up all I do all day united to Jesus in the Mass,
in the Holy Spirit, through the powerful intercession
of Mary, our spiritual Mother, with all the angels and
saints, and the souls in purgatory, for the priest, the
Church, and the world.

We love You God so much.
We thank You and adore You and petition You for
our needs. Amen.

appeared 7 1/2 years

Glorious Mysteries

The Resurrection

1. Mark 16: 1-11

When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices with which to go and anoint him. And very early in the morning on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun had risen.
They had been saying to one another, ‘Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?’ But when they looked they saw that the stone—which was very big—had already been rolled back. On entering the tomb they saw a young man in a white robe seated on the right–hand side, and they were struck with amazement. But he said to them, ‘There is no need to be so amazed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he has risen, he is not here. See, here is the place where they laid him. But you must go and tell his disciples and Peter, "He is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you will see him, just as he told you." ’ And the women came out and ran away from the tomb because they were frightened out of their wits; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
Having risen in the morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala from whom he had cast out seven devils. She then went to those who had been his companions, and who were mourning and in tears, and told them. But they did not believe her when they heard her say that he was alive and that she had seen him.

2. Life is in Him, we die to ourselves to
rise to new life in Him.
3. In the Death / there is the Resurrection,
we live out the Mass in our lives.

We thank You and adore You and petition You for
our needs. Amen.

5. Pray for the priests, the Church and the
    world.

God has given us a Savior.

God has given us the Church, the priest.
6. It wasn’t a pretty cross, the sufferings
Jesus endured was beyond any sufferings
we could imagine to His perfect, pure body.

God outpours His grace to us in the Mass.
The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary
sacramentally made present, we can unite
    all day in our lives.
7. Sufferings when accepted properly lead
    to “new life”.

Jesus appeared to me on the cross,
December 5, 1996 at the point of death,
His mouth moved, up and down.

He said no one was listening.
    I cried 3 days.
8. Mary appeared in Clearwater, Florida
    December 17, 1996, 12 days later.

Jesus is alive, Jesus gives us Himself in
the Eucharist, souls need the messages
of His love, pray the rosary, the Morning
    Offering.
9. We need to meditate on Christ crucified,
dying for our sins, and the Resurrection
into “new life”. The gift of enduring
    suffering properly.
Like Fr. Carter said, it’s not that there is
too much suffering in the world, but so
    much is wasted.

When we are weak, we are strong in Him.

God is with us in the darkest night.

He is the Resurrection and the life. Life
    is in Him.
10. We must die to ourselves to follow in
    His footprints.
In the Death is the Resurrection.

    Sing: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord

The Ascension

1. Acts 1: 6-9

Now having met together, they asked him, 'Lord, has the time come for you to restore the kingdom to Israel?' He replied, 'It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father has decided by his own authority, but you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throughout Judaea and Samaria, and indeed to earth's remotest end.'

As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.

2. Jesus ascended into heaven to His
Father, He remains, truly present with
us in the Eucharist, Body, Blood, Soul
and Divinity, through the hands of
    His precious priests.
3. They took every once of Jesus' energy,
beating Him until He was flat, flat on
    the ground

Then they poked at Him, with more
energy to force Him to get up.

I can’t imagine the torture Jesus went
through to pay for our sins.

They never let up, kept forcing Him,
    forcing Him, forcing Him.

The devil is relentless. He doesn’t like
    praying, love of God, etc.
4. God created us to know, love and serve
Him and thereby attain our eternal salvation.
5. We were called to our vocation by God.
God has a Plan for our lives.
6. God gives us the Church.
    God the Father, our Father.
    Mary is our Mother.
7. When I am weak, I am strong in Him.

8. Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul.
Come into my heart and permeate my soul.
Help me to sit in silence with You and let
    You work in my heart.

9. A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

10. Sing Refrain: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord

The Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles

1. Acts 2: 1-4

When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.

2. Life is very short, we were created to
    go to heaven some day.
3. God has a Plan, we must seek His Plan.
God gives us signs, how can we ignore
    the signs He gives us.
4. From Tell My People by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

The Holy Spirit

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.

Prayer: Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with your gifts of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety, and fear of the Lord. As we dwell in the Heart of Mary, Your spouse, fashion us more and more according to the Heart of Jesus.

5. 30 Years Ago - July 31, 1994

Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

6. From Tell My People by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

                Age of the Two Hearts

Jesus:  "My beloved priest-companion, I have allowed you to experience in extraordinary fashion the riches contained in My Heart and My Mother's Heart. I desire that you tell all My people about these riches. I desire that My people consecrate themselves to My Sacred Heart and to Mary's Immaculate Heart. My people are living in the beginnings of the age of the Two Hearts.

"After the time of the purification is completed, this new era of the Church and the world will become firmly established. This era will be characterized by the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. All those who consecrate themselves to My Heart and to My Mother's Heart will help to establish this glorious new age. I am Lord and Master. Please listen to My urgent request. Within Our Hearts you will experience the love and security, the peace and the joy, which you all desire. I love My people with a tremendous love, and in My love I give them this message!"

5. Sing: Immaculate Mary

6. Feast of the Assumption - August 15, 2007

HOMILY – It is recorded nowhere in Scripture when,
where or how Mary died. Nor do the Scriptures tell us
about her assumption. It has been a part, however, of the
very ancient tradition of the Church that Mary was
assumed bodily into heavenly glory when her life here on
earth was ended. One early document referring to this
event comes from the Bishop of Jerusalem in 451, St.
Juvenal. He was asked by the emperor of
Constantinople to bring the body of Mary to
Constantinople. He replied to the emperor that Mary
had died in the presence of all the apostles. But her
tomb, when opened upon the request of St. Thomas, was
found empty. Thus the apostles concluded that her body
was taken up to heaven as Jesus was.

7. Assumption continues

Some people belittle tradition as if it were
unimportant. They claim to believe only the written
words of the Scriptures. Yet, if we stop and think about
it, we would have no Scriptures without tradition for the
Scriptures came from the Church’s tradition. For
example, the earliest New Testament writings we have
are the letters of Paul, the first of which was written
about the year 51 A.D. Of our four gospels, Mark’s is the
first and it was written about 70 A.D. I say this so you
can see the importance of tradition. The Church had
only its tradition to go on until Paul and the evangelists
started writing it down 20, 30, 40 years after Christ, at
the earliest. So to say that the knowledge of the
assumption of Mary came from the very early tradition of
the Church is to give a lot of weight to this teaching.
But to eliminate any doubt as to whether Mary actually
was assumed into heavenly glory, the Holy Father, Pope
Pius XII, after reviewing the belief of the Church
through the ages, made it a dogma of our faith in 1950.

8. Assumption continues

In today’s gospel St. Luke tells us about Mary who is
a young girl going to visit her much older cousin
Elizabeth. Mary had just been visited by the angel, and
she had accepted the invitation to be the mother of the
Savior God was sending to his people. So she is at this
moment unmarried and yet pregnant through the power
of the Holy Spirit It was not a happy situation to be in.
She could have been rejected by her husband to be, she
could have been rejected by her family or could even
have been put to death. Yet she is full of trust in God
and praises God’s greatness and God’s goodness. There
is no expression of “poor me.” She is entirely focused on
God. Mary shows us how to be trusting and in her
assumption she shows us where that trust will lead us.

9. Assumption continues

Today’s feast honors Mary, for God himself has
honored her. In her openness to God and in her
willingness to always do whatever God wanted, God
rewarded her in a unique way. But today’s feast also is a
source of hope for us. Christ came, as he says in St.
John’s gospel, that we might have the fullness of life.
Our faith tells us our bodies too will share in that
fullness. So Mary is allowed to enjoy ahead of time what
God’s plan is for all of us who are faithful in following
him and serving him.

10. Revelation 7:17

...because the Lamb who is at the heart of the throne will be their shepherd and will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.

The Queenship of Mary

1. Revelation 12:1-2

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth.

2. Excerpt from Blue Book III - April 11, 1994 - Your Last Chance to Love

Jesus: ... My child, My child, My favored,
blessed child, I give you crosses because I love you. You I have
loved dearly all through your life. Your crosses have brought
you to Me and My love. Life will soon be over on this earth for
you. All that matters are the things of God. Love all those
around you as if it be your last chance to love. Live each day
to love all around you. Live it as if it be your last day to live on
this earth. Would you waste valuable time fuming and fretting?
Time is short and souls will be lost. They will suffer the loss of
their souls. You do not have time for any remorse. Your job is
to preach My ardent love to My beloved ones. There is so
much sin and so much blindness, but the kingdom of God
awaits all those who love and serve the Lord.

Please, I beg of you, spread My love. Do not let Satan get
you focused on yourself. Your work is to lead souls to My most
ardent love. What an honor! I am awaiting My precious ones.
Have faith, child. I am truly writing to you and I am God. I
gave My all for love of you, My child. I died that you might
live. Give yourself to Me now. end of excerpt

3. John 19:31-37

It was the Day of Preparation, and to avoid the bodies' remaining on the cross during the Sabbath -- since that Sabbath was a day of special solemnity -- the Jews asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken away. Consequently the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with him and then of the other. When they came to Jesus, they saw he was already dead, and so instead of breaking his legs one of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance; and immediately there came out blood and water. This is the evidence of one who saw it -- true evidence, and he knows that what he says is true -- and he gives it so that you may believe as well. Because all this happened to fulfil the words of scripture: Not one bone of his will be broken; and again, in another place scripture says: They will look to the one whom they have pierced.

4. Mary: My little children, I come to you and I speak to you,
for I have been here with you this whole time, watching and
guarding you. I am Mary, your Mother, and I tell you to not be
afraid, but you are afraid and I am waiting for you to come to
me. Come into my heart, for I will lead you to the Heart of my
Son and you will not be afraid. You will be courageous and you
will be filled with my Spouse, the Holy Spirit, and you will go
into the world and you will spread the Word of God alive in
your hearts.

5. Mary: My little children of the Father, I watch you as a
doting mother watches her child, and you do not feel my
presence with you, but I am there, always watching you,
always by your side.

6. Mary: What will become of them, the little children that
insist on doing their own will? ‘Remember that thou shalt keep
holy the Sabbath day, obey your father and your mother’, but
they do not listen, they are dumb and they are blind. My little
children, they will not listen to their Father.

7. Mary: My Son Jesus reveals to you the plan of the Father
here. I say this to you, my shepherds, do whatever He tells you
to do. The more you follow the plan, the more you will have
peace and joy in your hearts. The more you deviate and do
your own wills, the more you will have trouble in your hearts.

8. Mary: My Son is giving you great graces when you pray the
hourly prayers. If you do not pray the prayers you will struggle
tremendously, for the devil will try to attack you and to lead
you astray through conversation with others. I am giving to
you this key that my Son has given to you to unlock the peace
in your heart. It is just to say, “I ask, I knock, I seek through
the intercession of the Virgin Mary that I receive grace”. Pray
to the Father, in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of
Mary, that you receive grace.

9. Mary: I am asking you, my shepherd apostles, that at the
hours of 3, 6, 9, and 12, that you pray the prayers if it is
possible. If it is not possible and you have a few minutes, you
should pray for holy priests. You should pray for the Shepherds
of Christ members. You should pray for the Priestly
Newsletter, pray for the human family, pray to St. Michael for
protection and the angels, and say, “I give my heart to Jesus
and to Mary.” Ask that the Precious Blood of Jesus be spread
on you and the Shepherds of Christ Movement. These prayers
can be recited in a few minutes. I am asking you to be fervent
to the prayers, for at every hour it will draw you back to my
Son Jesus. It will lead you to God and you will receive the
greatest graces. My Son will allow you to suffer if you do not
recite the prayers and you are able.

10. Sing: Hail Holy Queen

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
