Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. As we meditate on the mysteries of the rosary, I see more and more how these mysteries merge into one, into the one mystery of God, into knowing Him, for I know Christ in His life, and I know Him now, most intimately, within my heart. And in this mystery of knowing Him, I know Him as an infant, as God. I know Him in the Presentation in the Temple. I know Him in the Finding in the Temple. I know Him in the Agony of the Garden. I know Him in all the aspects during the Passion. It is like how I know you. I know you. I know all of the experiences that we have shared together, and at one time it is as to look into the mystery of you. Each one of us, being a mystery that is unfolded and as we grow more intimately with one another, those parts that are within that are held as a mystery to some are revealed here to each other. This is how it is with God. We know Him in all of the mysteries as we meditate on each one individually. And it takes a great unity which comes together in our knowing God as a Person, as the Holy Spirit fills us with knowledge and understanding.

If you have been my friend for many years, I would know so many things. A mother that carries a child within her womb, knows the child through their whole life and knows them now. It is a summation of all the experiences together. And this is how it is: when I meditate on Christ in the garden, I see Christ the child in Bethlehem. I see Christ risen and ascending into heaven. And I see the Jesus that I know today, the One that I receive in the Eucharist, the One that I love, the One that I am most intimate with. And so to meditate on a mystery, I have so much emotion, for I have experienced this Person of Jesus in the depths of my soul, in my intimacy with Him, especially in the Eucharist. This is the mystery of Jesus Christ as He knelt in the garden, and I know Him in the garden for I have lived this agony in the garden in my life. And I know Jesus in His Word. And I love Him as I love a person, but much deeper, Jesus is God, that I love. Let us meditate on the mystery of this rosary and go deeper and deeper into the mystery of our Divine Lover.

R. And so, this is a rosary about our beloved Jesus, the One that we visit when we go to the exposed Eucharist, the One that we know in our heart when we receive Him. This is our Lover.

Jesus: Come away with Me. Come into My Heart and I will give you rest for I am your Lover. I am your Spouse. I am the Bridegroom of your soul, the One for which your soul seeks. And you may trod a barren desert, but you only find rest in Me.

 

Mysteries of Light

The Baptism of Jesus

1. Mark 1: 9-11

It was at this time that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptised in the Jordan by John. And at once, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit, like a dove, descending on him. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you.’

2. The sky was thrown open
    and the voice of the Father
    was heard.
3. "This is My beloved Son in
    whom I am well pleased."
4. The Holy Spirit was seen in
    the form of a dove over
    Jesus’ head.
5. This began Jesus’ public life.
6. The Lord is our teacher, He
    worked many miracles.
7. Jesus teaches us how to be
    a son of God.
8. Jesus shows us the way.
9. We are to be Christ-like.

The Marriage at Cana

1. John 2: 1-10  

On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’  There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’

    miracle of His public life
    at Cana.
3. Jesus changed water into
    wine.
4. Jesus called Mary, ”woman”.
5. Mary is the ‘New Eve’.
6. Jesus refers to Mary as
    woman on Calvary.
7. Woman, behold your son.
8. We see God the Father
    speaks of Jesus’ Sonship.
    He teaches us how to be
    sons of God.
    On Calvary Jesus gives us
    Mary as our Mother.
9. God the Father is our Father.
10. Mary is our Mother.
    We have a heavenly Father
    who loves us.
    Mary loves us.

    Mary has powerful intercession
    we see at Cana.
    We see Mary’s powerful role
    as our Mother on Calvary.

Building the Kingdom of God

1. John 18: 36-37

Jesus replied, ‘Mine is not a kingdom of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my men would have fought to prevent my being surrendered to the Jews. As it is, my kingdom does not belong here.’ Pilate said, ‘So, then you are a king?’ Jesus answered, ‘It is you who say that I am a king. I was born for this, I came into the world for this, to bear witness to the truth; and all who are on the side of truth listen to my voice.’

2. Mary is always ready to
    bring us closer to Jesus.
3. Mary is Mother of our
    Christ-life.
4. We want to spread the
    devotion of the Two Hearts.
5. This will help build the
    Kingdom of God.
6. We consecrate our hearts to
    the Sacred Heart and Mary’s
    Immaculate Heart.
7. We want the Reign of the
    Sacred Heart and Triumph
    of Mary’s Immaculate Heart.
8. Mary aids us in being
    disciples of Christ.
9. We want to be one with
    Jesus in the building of His
    Kingdom.

The Transfiguration

1. Matthew 17: 1-9

Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There in their presence he was transfigured: his face shone like the sun and his clothes became as dazzling as light. And suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared to them; they were talking with him. Then Peter spoke to Jesus. ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘it is wonderful for us to be here; if you want me to, I will make three shelters here, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ He was still speaking when suddenly a bright cloud covered them with shadow, and suddenly from the cloud there came a voice which said, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. Listen to him.’  When they heard this, the disciples fell on their faces, overcome with fear. But Jesus came up and touched them, saying, ‘Stand up, do not be afraid.’ And when they raised their eyes they saw no one but Jesus.

As they came down from the mountain Jesus gave them this order, ‘Tell no one about this vision until the Son of man has risen from the dead.’

5. Disciples listen to Jesus.
6. These are the Mysteries of
    Light.
7. What light was on Mt. Tabor -
    Wow!!!

The Institution of the Eucharist

1. Matthew 26: 26-29

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples. ‘Take it and eat,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, ‘Drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. From now on, I tell you, I shall never again drink wine until the day I drink the new wine with you in the kingdom of my Father.’

St. John Eudes, a great apostle of devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, says:

"you are one with Jesus as the body is one with the head. You must, then, have one breath with him, one soul, one will, one mind, one heart. And he must be your breath, heart, love, life, your all. These great gifts in the follower of Christ originate from Baptism. They are increased and strengthened through Confirmation and by making good use of other graces that are given by God. Through the Holy Eucharist they are brought to perfection."³⁹

3. Amidst this unfathomable
    suffering, Jesus spoke to
    Mary and John as they stood
    at the foot of the Cross:

John 19: 26-27

Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, ‘Woman, this is your son.’ Then to the disciple he said, ‘This is your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

5. Mother at Our Side - Chapter 12 continues

The liturgy is the public worship of the Church. The above statement of Vatican II vividly reminds us that our Christian existence is rooted in the liturgical action of the Church. Two very important dimensions of the Church's liturgy are the sacraments, and--most importantly--the Mass.

6. Mother at Our Side - Chapter 12 continues

In the Mass we offer ourselves along with Christ Who is chief priest and victim. As Christ's offering of Himself is present in the Eucharistic sacrifice, so likewise is our offering of ourselves. Furthermore, just as Christ's offering on Calvary included everything in His life, so also the offering we make of ourselves at the Eucharist should include all those actions we perform according to God's will in Christ--being properly with pain, frustration, failure, misunderstanding, boredom, anguish of spirit--this is what we offer at the altar. Loving another, and being loved by that other, enjoying success, feeling satisfaction in a task well done, enjoying meals shared with loved ones, drinking in the morning freshness, feeling the cool spring breeze, relishing the magnificent colors of autumn leaves--all this we also offer with Jesus. The Eucharistic offering gathers up what would otherwise be fragmented pieces of our lives and gives them a marvelous unity, a Christic unity. The Eucharistic sacrifice unites all these aspects of our lives with the love, the beauty, and the strength of Jesus' offering and presents them to the Father in the Holy Spirit with Mary our Mother at our side. As Mary was present at Calvary's offering, so is she present as that sacrifice really becomes present in an unbloody manner in the Mass.

7. Mother at Our Side - Chapter 12 continues

At the Eucharistic meal--at communion time--we receive Christ in a very special and intimate manner. He gives Himself to us--body, blood, soul, and divinity. What an awesome reality! We have to pray for an increased appreciation of this tremendous Self-giving on the part of Jesus. We have to pray for the grace to grow in the determination to love and live Christ more deep1y as we leave each Mass. This ever greater love for Christ, this ever greater putting on of Christ, should be the result of each Eucharistic participation.

8. Mother at Our Side - Chapter 12 continues

The Christ Who loves us with an unfathomable love, Who gives Himself so completely to us in each Eucharistic meal, wants us to allow Him to live in and through us in an ever greater fashion. If He, in His great love for us gives Himself completely to us, should not we strive for our own complete gift of self to Jesus? Obviously, our gift of self will never equal Christ's perfect gift of Himself to us, but we can always grow in our gift of self by permeating it with an ever greater love. The love of Christ's Eucharistic Heart, this Heart which for love of us was pierced with a soldier's lance as He hung in agony upon the cross, calls for this love of ours. Who can refuse Him? Who wants to refuse Him?
