Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Do you feel the presence of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants this relationship with us.
We are here to grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.

Jesus: Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God, All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.

Meditate, empty your mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a spiritual communion, now.

Take time, be alone with Me.

Everyday during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be alone with Me.

This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this, all thru Lent.

I went into the desert to pray for
40 days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

Dear Saint Joseph,

I turn to you, you who cared and
protected the child Jesus and the
Virgin Mary.

love of God by your example in life,
and by your faithfulness of living
your calling in greatest commitment
and love.

You loved Mary and Jesus with the
most gentle, bonds of love.

You showed us how you
lived in loving conformity to the
Heavenly Father’s will.

You guided Jesus and Mary’s precious
lives with the Holy Spirit, Spouse of
the Virgin Mother of God.

Protect us and our family this day and
every day of our lives, like
you did the Holy Family of Nazareth.
We seek your powerful intercession.

How intimately you knew and loved
Jesus and Mary. You were so close to
them. You showed us love.

Your heart was pure and gentle and
yet you were strong in being their
manly protector on earth, intercede

God for all our needs, for when we
are weak we are strong in God.

Jesus: The bad thief was fighting Me
dying on the cross.

I give you My letters of love for those
dying.

October 5, 1993 Tuesday

I Provide for Your Needs

Jesus: Calm yourself child breathe in peace and out anxiety. I am your top priority, it will all work out for you. Put your faith in Me. It is in Me that your peace lies. I know every struggle in your life. Do you not know how I care for you? Calm yourself, see why you mustn’t teach, it feels all wrong and it is. I will provide you with all you need. Focus on Me. Do not fume and fret. Stop now, quiet yourself, I am here, do you feel My presence? Just be with Me, My sweet child. Don’t write, just be quiet and focus on Me. I want to be close to you, just be empty here with Me. I will work in your soul. Let Me feed you, little one. I love you so.

This is where your peace lies, My child. You need to spend this time with Me. I am in every moment; these moments before Me in the tabernacle are so golden. Be alone with Me here before the tabernacle. I have so much to give. I wait for you. I long for you. Your business is so insignificant. I come first. You rest in My arms  and I fill you, little one, with such love. Find time for Me alone. You will receive such benefits you cannot imagine.

Satan is working hard to keep you away. A treasure I have in store for you! I want you here with Me. Feel My presence. It is so good; you are so happy here. Listen to Me, My child: Mass, Communion and then one hour with Me. You must find the time. I will work with you, that you will have the time. But you must find time to write and be with Me every day. Let other things drop from your life. You do not have to change the world. I will use you and you do not even know how I am using you.

You are so precious to Me. Let all worries and anxieties go now; trust totally in Me, live in the moment. I will get the things done you need in your life. Satan is trying to keep you and your children from Me, so I do not get to be so close to you. Mass, Communion, Adoration, pray together, all else takes its place after that My little one. I am with you now. Your class is so unimportant. How you are is so important: peaceful, present to Me while you are there! I will make your life work, relax in Me, let go of all your business, things will work themselves out to please Me. Don’t fume and fret. Do pray constantly, see My face before you; see Me in every moment, I am what matters. Love your brothers, that is Important.

    Peace, Love and Joy.

Jesus: My Father created you in love, to take you home someday.

I send these letters: Do you believe?

Many say to Me “I have a life going on God, I’m in control.”

Do you see the Father’s Plan if you believe it or not?

Do you see the Father’s Plan in your life will unfold if you believe it or not?

Do you see the Father’s Plan, will unfold if you believe it or not?

God the Father:
You are to listen to My Son Jesus!!!
Jesus appeared transfigured on Mt. Tabor with Moses and Elijah. God gives you the commandments, the commandments are good for you!!

I told you:
"This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, listen to Him",
but you want a different Plan.

Give these writings to those suffering, about to die, to those terminally ill, to those suffering from broken homes.
Two thieves were dying on the cross, next to MY Son Jesus: one was sorry, the other fighting to the bitter end with Jesus. The bad thief said,

"If you are God, save yourself and save me."

You can stop it and change and listen to Jesus.
Listen in this book.
Spread His letters of wisdom and love.

Believe, Believe, Believe.

John 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

God the Father:
Don't let another day go by.

You can do it.
You can do it.
You can do it, if you want to.

Pray to the Holy Spirit for the gift of counsel.
Put on the mind of God!!!
Be lifted up.
Pray and use these works I send you.
Spread the love letters of My Son Jesus.

Mary appeared at Fatima and told you to convert.

Let go.
I am God the Father, My plan will unfold if you listen or not.

My Plan: In all My love, for you to spread the Good News and come home to Me, to My love and embrace one day in heaven, Listen to Jesus in these writings, spread them. This is the Mighty Medicine I give.

Feed the hungry souls.
Feed the hungry souls.
Feed the hungry souls with these writings.

I am God the Father, I created you for this.
I am God.
I love you.

John 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

R. I cried out to the Lord
and He answered my prayer.
I was worn and He dressed me in a gown of silver and blue and peace and love.

God is my Master, I serve Him in suffering and in joy.
God is my Master.

His love is everything to me.
He loves me more than I can love myself.
I am His and I love Him so much.
This is reality.

Matthew 11: 28-30

‘Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.’

Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the life.

I know everything that is happening.
See my face in the suffering and pray for them.

I never give you more than you can handle.

Believe and turn to Me, I am all powerful.
I emptied Myself for your sins.

R. The more dependent I am on Him, the more I know Him.

He allows the crosses in our lives to draw us to greater intimacy with Him.

Sufferings when faced properly lead to greater life.
Amen.

Jesus: The body of Christ is suffering.

Give them the daily writing and My messages.

I am the Light of the world!

March 10, 2024

R. Dear God,
My soul delights in You.
Justice and peace will kiss as we give our hearts to Jesus and Mary’s Heart of pure and perfect love.
Mary is Mother of the Eucharist.
Mary is Mother of love.

Sing praise to God, love God, give Him what is His due. Rejoice and Sing with love and delight.
Let your heart be pure, walking in unity and love and serving and honoring God. Let no darkness lurk in your heart.
Oh God put a new song of praise and love in my heart for Jesus, bridegroom of my soul.

John 15:9-12

Jesus said to his disciples
“As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
Just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
“I have told you this, so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
This is my commandment: love, one another as I Love you.“

R. If God has a plan and wants someone who is a friend to help
and we say no
that is opposing God’s will
and we will suffer if we do it ourselves.

Dear Holy Spirit give us the mind of God.

Help us to not block His Plan for our lives.

God has the right plan.

Holy Spirit give us the virtue of prudence
and the gift of counsel, please!!

Jesus, the second Person of the Blessed Trinity
came for our salvation!!!

Let us Rejoice!!!

Fr. Carter wrote this book he taught out of with his other books as helpers in the class he taught at Xavier University.
.
He taught there close to 33 years.

Response to God’s Love.

R. His class was entitled:
“Christian life and Celebration.”

God’s love for us.

John 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

R. Heart of Jesus as a symbol of God’s love for us.
(God’s love for us, calls for our love in return).

Matthew 22:34-40

The greatest commandment of all

But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees they got together and, to put him to the test, one of them put a further question, 'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

R. From everything You sent me Lord, I have learned.
Surrender more, because I love You so much my God.
Dependency on You grows ever greater, the more I carry a cross the more I know Your love.

I, just love You God.
Help me do Your will lovingly for Your honor and glory

Help me God.
I love You.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Luke 22: 39-46

The Mount of Olives

He then left to make his way as usual to the Mount of Olives, with the disciples following. When he reached the place he said to them, ‘Pray not to be put to the test.’

Then he withdrew from them, about a stone’s throw away, and knelt down and prayed. ‘Father,’ he said, ‘if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, let your will be done, not mine.’ Then an angel appeared to him, coming from heaven to give him strength. In his anguish he prayed even more earnestly, and his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood. When he rose from prayer he went to the disciples and found them sleeping for sheer grief. And he said to them, ‘Why are you asleep? Get up and pray not to be put to the test.’

March 12, 2000 Homily

3. And His desert experience reminds us that
the desert experience must be in the lives of all
of us, really, day in and day out, sometimes with
very, very special periods, but the heart, the
essence of desert experience must always be with
us.

4. And certainly one of the great notes of the
desert experience is this prayerful communion
with the Father, through Christ, in the Holy
Spirit, with the assistance of Mary our Mother.

5. Silence is one of the great foundational
stones of the spiritual life. In silence, if we properly
use it, so much happens to us. We are made
aware once again of how much the Father loves
us in Christ Jesus, and we just sit in awe, trying
to realize, with greater insight, what it means
that the Father sent His Son to die for each of
us.

6. We can never comprehend the love contained
in that, that the Son of God becomes incarnate
for our redemption.

7. In silence, we should make a response with
our whole hearts, as we realize this great love of
God, for us in Jesus, and pledge that each day of
our lives we will respond with the deepest faith,
hope, and love, despite the trials, despite the
sufferings, despite the persecutions, and aided on
the more bright side by success and joyfulness and
happiness in the Lord.

8. During the time of Lent, we have a special
opportunity to deepen this desert experience, so
I encourage you to build – I know all of you
have very, very busy days – but try to build at
least, a little bit more time, set aside time for
prayerful silence, as we imitate the desert experience
of Jesus.

9. We know that not only during
these forty days, did He go aside in solitude in
the desert, but He would often go aside and pray
in solitude to His Heavenly Father.

10. So we have to learn how to build the desert
experience into our daily lives, and this can be
done even in the midst of activity. The more we
do away with the clutter, the needless anxiety and
worry and so forth within us, the more we are
experiencing desert silence, even in the midst of
activity. Especially during Lent, try to build into
your days a little bit more time before the Blessed
Eucharist, to deepen your desert experience.
Thomas Merton, certainly one of the most insightful
spiritual writers of our times, has some very
meaningful words about the place of silence
in the spiritual life. He says, "Silence does
not exist in our lives merely for its own sake. It
is ordered to something else. Silence is the mother
of speech. A lifetime of silence is ordered
to an ultimate declaration, which can be put into
words, a declaration of all we have lived for."

A Thomas Merton Reader, Thomas M Donnell, editor, Doubleday, p. 459.

Jesus took Peter, James and John in the Garden.
Jesus told them to pray.
They slept, Jesus went to them 3 times.
Jesus went off to pray and He suffered so very much.
Jesus saw before Him all the sins of all men from all time.
Jesus was in so much anguish He sweat blood.
Jesus wants us to be obedient to the commandments of God.
God is Light and in Him is no darkness.
An angel appeared to strengthen Jesus.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Matthew 27: 24-26

Then Pilate saw that he was making no impression, that in fact a riot was imminent. So he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd and said, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood. It is your concern.’ And the people, every one of them, shouted back, ‘Let his blood be on us and on our children!’ Then he released Barabbas for them. After having Jesus scourged he handed him over to be crucified.

2. Jesus was whipped and His flesh
    torn at the pillar.
3. Jesus was beaten for our sins.
4. God has called us in the Shepherds
of Christ to pray for the priests, the
    Church and the world.
5. Jesus told Fr. Carter to spread the
    Priestly Writing.
6. Obedience to God’s will, means we
    obey God’s Plan.
7. Jesus loves us so much He endured
this bitter beating and His body was
    bare.
8. So many sins against the flesh.

9. "Life and death, words and silence, are given
us because of Christ...In Him we die to illusion
and live to truth. We speak to confess Him, and
we are silent in order to meditate on Him and
enter deeper into His silence, which is at once
the silence of death and of eternal life-the silence
of Good Friday and the peace of Easter
morning."    Thomas Merton

10. "We receive Christ's silence into our hearts
when first we speak from our heart the word of
faith. We work out our salvation in silence and
in hope. Silence is the strength of our interior
life. Silence enters into the very core of our
moral being, so that if we have no silence we
have no morality. Silence enters mysteriously
into the composition of all the virtues, and silence
preserves them from corruption."  Thomas Merton

A Thomas Merton Reader, Thomas M r Donnell, editor, Doubleday, p. 459.

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. R. Look at the haughty hearts of so many today. Our own hearts, our hearts that are so fixed in getting ahead and being first. Look at the pride and the control in the minds of men, and then look at the head of Jesus as they pound into His head the sharp thorns that pierced His head and made Him bleed.

3. R. How we whine and we complain about so many little trials that we must suffer. Did Jesus ever have a headache? Look at the wounded head of our Savior.

4. R. God came and gave Himself. He was spit on. He was crowned with thorns. He was mocked. He was kicked. He was whipped, and they tore His flesh. This is the love that He has for us.

5. R. Jesus appears with a crown of thorns around His Heart - His precious Heart, pierced by the indifference and the hatred of the souls that He loves. Let us comfort His Heart with our acts of love, and let us vow to go into this world and to fight, despite all the struggle and all the obstacles that Satan has created, to go into this world and to carry the greatest news that there is to the souls that are starving, that are hungry, and that are in pain - the news that our beloved Savior loves us.

6. Jesus: I love My precious souls to come to Me. I am thirsty for My precious souls. I love My precious souls so much.

7. R. And they spit on Jesus, and they mocked Him. They hurled hateful remarks at the Almighty God, and He was silent. He withstood all of this treatment for within His Heart was divine love, His Heart on fire for His precious souls.

8. Sing: A Song from Jesus

9. "If we fill our lives with silence, then we live
in hope, and Christ lives in us and gives our
virtues much substance. Then, when the time
comes, we confess Him openly...and our confession
has much meaning because it is rooted in
deep silence. It awakens the silence of Christ in
the hearts of those who hear us, so that they
themselves fall silent and begin to wonder and
to listen. For they have begun to discover their
true selves."  Thomas Merton

A Thomas Merton Reader, Thomas M r Donnell, editor, Doubleday, p. 459.

10. Matthew 7:21

'It is not anyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven.

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Matthew 27: 32-34

The crucifixion

On their way out, they came across a man from Cyrene, called Simon, and enlisted him to carry his cross. When they had reached a place called Golgotha, that is, the place of the skull, they gave him wine to drink mixed with gall, which he tasted but refused to drink.

2. Stations of the Cross - February 22, 1995

1. Jesus Is Condemned to Death

Jesus:  My dear child, with angry hearts and hatred on their faces, they poked at Me and condemned Me to death. I stood so silent, My hands tied, in perfect peace, because I knew the Father's love. I knew the Father's Will. You too will stand your trials in perfect peace, the more you realize the immense love the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have for you. Pray to the Spirit to transform you more and more into My image and, through this transformation, you will be led ever closer to the Father. Oh, how I love you!

3.
February 22, 1995 Stations continues

2. They Give Jesus the Cross

Jesus:  They gave Me a heavy cross, laden with the sins of the world. They placed it on My shoulder. It was so heavy I felt as if My shoulder would break. I ask you to carry little crosses, to experience little pains. I could not remove this cross from My shoulder. The weight was unbearable. It is through My suffering and death that you receive new life. It is through your sufferings this day that you will grow in your life with Me. Oh, child, I loved you so much that I took up the cross of salvation. I love you. Please realize that I am talking to you here. To My death I loved you. Oh, how I love you!

4. February 22, 1995 Stations continues

3. Jesus Falls the First Time

Jesus: The cross was so heavy I could hardly walk. I held on to My cross for greatest love of you and in compliance with the Will of My Father. It became so hard to walk! The cross was so heavy! I fell. I fell and the cross fell on Me. They poked at Me, they struck Me, they demanded I get up. The pain from the instruments they used to poke Me and strike Me was so great! I somehow managed to get up.

When you fall under the weight of your cross, come to My Eucharistic Heart. I am no less present in the tabernacle and in the Eucharist than on the day I carried My cross. I wait with the same love that I had for you when I carried this cross and suffered such agony. Oh, how I love you!

5. February 22, 1995 Stations continues

4. Jesus and Mary Meet

Jesus: I saw the face of My beautiful Mother. She was weak, her face reddened and full of tears. I saw her tender heart, her love, her anguish, her pain. I saw My dear Mother Mary. My Heart was comforted by the sight of her, but torn by her suffering.

Mary: As I looked into the eyes of my beloved Son, I saw His love. His head, bleeding and wounded. His body weak. His clothes covered with blood. I looked into His eyes and I saw His love for you. I call out to you today. I appear today with a face full of anguish and tears. I appear to call you back to the love of my Son. See through my eyes, as I peer into His eyes, the love He has for you this day to give of Himself for you. Oh, He loves you so much, my little children. See through my eyes the love of my Son. Oh, how He loves you!

6. February 22, 1995 Stations continues

5. Simon of Cyrene Is Forced to Help Jesus Carry His Cross

Jesus: The cross was so heavy I could not move. My persecutors became angry and forced a man to help Me. The cross was so heavy the two of us could barely move it. How is your cross today? Does it seem so heavy you cannot go on? I am forever watching you. When you are suffering the greatest, I am very close to you. It is in immense suffering that you realize My great love for you. Pray for grace to do always the Father's Will. Pray for grace to grow in your knowledge and love of Me.

6. Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus

Jesus: My face was covered with blood. From the crowd Veronica came forward with a cloth to wipe My face. On the cloth I gave to you an imprint of My bloodied face. This, My children, remains with you this day as a sign of My immense love for you. But more than any cloth, look beyond the visible consecrated host. I, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, remain with you, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, in the Eucharist this day, waiting and longing to be with you. Oh, how I love you!

7. February 22, 1995 Stations continues

7. Jesus Falls the Second Time

Jesus: Oh, dear ones, the road became harder and harder to walk. The cross was becoming heavier, My body weaker and weaker. My shoulders and arms hurt so much! My head throbbed as I walked. The blood came from My body, from My head to My feet. I was covered with open wounds. I could not go any farther. I stumbled and fell. Again they poked at Me, only harder, and with such hatred they kicked Me. Such vileness in the hearts of men! My greatest agony was not the agonies of My body, but the agonies of My heart for the love I have for all My precious souls. I loved them so dearly. I loved those who persecuted Me. Oh, how I love you!

8. Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem

Jesus: The women came to Me with their children, their tender hearts crying and wanting to comfort Me. I saw their love, their care. I saw the coldness of men's hearts for all time, the hatred, the anger, the sins, all the souls that, despite all of My sufferings and death, would be condemned to eternal damnation. I told the women to weep not for Me, but for themselves and their children. My greatest agonies were the agonies of My Most Sacred Heart. Oh, how I love you!

8. February 22, 1995 Stations continues

9. Jesus Falls the Third Time

Jesus: I fell hard the third time. I was so weakened I could not go on. My body collapsed under the cross from such exhaustion! My child, My child, My greatest agonies were not the wounds to the body. They were the wounds I experienced to My heart. Do you know a little more now how I love you? It is in meditating on My Passion and death that you will realize My immense love for you. When you fall, when you struggle, I give you the grace to get up. I never give you more than you can handle. Your strength will come from Me. Come to My Eucharistic Heart. I am waiting for you this day. Oh, how I love you!

10. Jesus Is Stripped of His Garments

Jesus: They took Me to the hill to crucify Me. They angrily stripped Me of My garments. They took off My clothes to whip Me. They had covered My bloody wounds with a dirty purple robe. Now, total surrender-they took off My clothes. I showed you the way to surrender, always complying with the Will of the Father. It is in living in His Will that you will have peace and joy, and life eternal some day. Oh, how I love you!

9. February 22, 1995 Stations continues

11. They Nail Him to the Cross

R. See Mary as she holds the little Baby Jesus. See her as she washes His tender hands and feet. See her now as she watches as they pound into those same hands and feet the gigantic nails that fix Jesus to the cross.

Mary:
Oh, my dear ones, my heart was torn in my chest as they nailed His hands and feet to the cross. I ask you this day to walk the Passion with me and see through my eyes the love He has for you. He truly was nailed to the cross.

Jesus:
They pounded the nails into My first hand, then they stretched My body and nailed My other hand. The blood poured from these wounds that went totally through My hands. My pain was so immense, but then they nailed My feet! You do not know what pain I suffered, My child. My children, My children, for each one of you I suffered this pain. Oh, how I loved you!

12. Jesus Dies on the Cross

(Silence.)

R.
He hung for three agonizing hours on the cross against the darkened sky. His greatest agonies were not the agonies of His body, but those of His Heart for the great love He has for each and every soul.

Jesus:
I gave Myself to you, My dear ones. I gave My all. I hung with My arms spread in total surrender. My head was punctured; My hands and feet were nailed to the cross. I gave Myself to you. I give Myself to you this day in the Eucharist. I give Myself to you. I, God, give you Myself! What more do you want?

Song:
Oh, burning Heart, oh, Love divine, etc.

R.
They pierced His Heart with a lance and what flowed forth was blood and water, the sacramental life of the Church, water for Baptism and blood for the Eucharist. His life, death and resurrection live on in the Church this day.

10. February 22, 1995 Stations continues

13. Jesus Is Taken Down from the Cross and Placed in the Arms of His Mother

R. His totally lifeless body was placed in the arms of His most loving Mother. As she had held the little baby body in her arms, she now received His bloodied, bruised body in her arms. This is how He obeyed the Father's Will. Jesus gave His life for us. The Father gave His only Son because He loves us so much. Mary, His Mother, our Mother and the Mother of the Church, is forever by His side. See Jesus in the arms of His loving Mother under the cross. This is love.

Mary:
I held His lifeless body in my arms. See through my eyes the love He has for you this day. He gives Himself to you today in the Eucharist. He loves you so much!

14. Jesus Is Locked in the Tomb

R. His enemies rolled the stone up to the tomb and were pleased to have buried Jesus. Mary, outside the tomb, wept bitterly. The cold reality that He was dead! But death has no power over Jesus for on the third day He rose, triumphant, from the tomb! We are partakers in His divine life. Death has no power over Jesus. He is with us this day. He comes to bring us life to the full. He loves us so much!

The Crucifixion

1. Luke 23: 32-47

Now they were also leading out two others, criminals, to be executed with him. When they reached the place called The Skull, there they crucified him and the two criminals, one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.' Then they cast lots to share out his clothing.

The people stayed there watching.  As for the leaders, they jeered at him with the words, 'He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.'  The soldiers mocked him too, coming up to him, offering him vinegar, and saying, 'If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.'  Above him there was an inscription: 'This is the King of the Jews'.

One of the criminals hanging there abused him: 'Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well.'  But the other spoke up and rebuked him.  'Have you no fear of God at all?' he said.  'You got the same sentence as he did, but in our case we deserved it: we are paying for what we did.  But this man has done nothing wrong.'  Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'  He answered him, 'In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'

The veil of the Sanctuary was torn right down the middle. Jesus cried out in a loud voice saying, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' With these words he breathed his last. When the centurion saw what had taken place, he gave praise to God and said, 'Truly, this was an upright man.'

2. August 23, 1993 - On His Passion

Jesus: My dear child,

I was condemned to death, death on a cross. They gave Me a big cross and made Me carry it. They stood around and glared at Me. It weighed on My shoulder and I pulled at it until it finally moved. Every step was almost impossible as I dragged it, weighing so heavily on My shoulders.

3. On His Passion continues

Jesus: My shoulder felt as if the bones inside would crack and the cross would fall through to the ground. I couldn’t drag it any more. I tried, I fell. I fell and its weight fell on Me. A guard hit Me with something sharp. It really hurt because he wanted Me to move, and fast! People were watching — on with the show! How dare I fall in the middle of the show! He hit Me again and the blow really stung Me. I got up because it hurt so badly. I tried to walk on

4. On His Passion continues

Jesus: My Mother was in the crowd. She looked at Me and her face looked red and hurt. Tears rolled down her cheeks like rain and as her eyes met Mine, I was hurt so by her sorrow! She was always by My side, silent and loving. She was My Mother of love! She is always there next to you when you suffer.

5. On His Passion continues

Jesus: I fell again and he (the guard) really hit Me. It (the cross) was so heavy that he and I together could barely move it. It seemed as I walked, heavier with the sins of the world heaped on it. My hands were bleeding. Blood ran from the wounds of My thorns and My head throbbed, seeming to make the wounds in My head bleed even more. Some of the Blood was dried, some of it running all over My Body. I had so many cuts and bruises — and people watched and laughed!

6. On His Passion continues

Jesus: I am Jesus, Son of the Living God, and they laughed and mimicked Me! Oh, such hardened hearts! How vile can men’s hearts become? The devil’s grip is paralyzing and crippling.

The walk was so long up a hill and over rocks — the cross had to be lifted over the rocks. My Body was bleeding so badly! My Heart was pounding. I knew that the salvation of all men depended on My love. Therefore, I went through such agony.

7. On His Passion continues

Jesus: I thought of My intense love for you — that many would go to heaven because of My suffering — and I continued to the top of the hill. At the top they laid Me on the cross and with a big hammer nailed My hands to it. It was the worst (suffering) yet. My hands were nailed with big nails and the big hammer. Then, as if that weren’t enough, with a big nail they nailed through both feet.

8. On His Passion continues

Jesus: Then they lifted the cross and banged it into (a hole in) the ground. My shoulders ached from how I hung. My head bobbed and My neck ached and they laughed and said, "Now save Yourself." I hurt so much! I suffered this way for hours — which seemed like forever — and they glared at Me and laughed! My Mother watched in such agony.

9. On His Passion continues

Jesus: For love of you, to My death I gave you My Body. My child, I shed My Blood and gave you My life that you might be with Me forever in heaven — not for a day, a month or a year, but forever with Me in heaven.

I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My Flesh will have life forever. For the drink I give you is My Blood and food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend? I did, for you. I love you this much, child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I gave you and I give you life eternal.

10. On His Passion continues

Jesus: I am the One true God. I am the Light of life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body. Drink and eat and have everlasting life.

My child, that is all you need to know. Love one another and be good that you may enter into My Kingdom.

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
