A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
Messenger: Many times you must attend Mass in suffering because suffering is present in your body and in your life. Many times you do not have the extra time to sit and pray leisurely before and after Mass.
Should you skip Mass on a weekday because you do not have the proper time to prepare before and after?
It is most important that you attend Mass with a heart ready to approach the altar and partake in the Holy Sacrifice. A person who has a job from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. every day may find it difficult to do all they wish in attending Mass.
The more that we can follow the guidelines for proper preparation and thanksgiving, the more Jesus can act intimately on our souls. But this is not to say that if He so chooses He will not give a great grace when we are hurried and five minutes late because of unforeseen circumstances. Surrendering to God's will and having the proper disposition of heart are most important.
Sometimes when going to Mass, I have been so tested because the devil wishes to block my attendance at Mass. I want to be there with a pure and holy heart so I can pray with the most fervent desire to help save souls, to do all He wishes me to do to reach Mary's children. The devil tries to create blocks and distractions so we will not be able to attend with an undivided heart.
We must try to remain in Him no matter what the "ringers" the devil throws at us.
We must try to get to Mass even when we are hurried and it is not the ideal situation.
We must realize we are at battle with the devil who does not want us to be there because of the greatness of the Mass.
God gives the greatest graces in the Mass for us and the whole world.
The important thing is to endure the suffering, the testing, and try to remain pure in imitation of Jesus on the way to Calvary.
Sometimes we may attend Mass feeling as if we are carrying the sins of the world on our backs. We approach the altar in great suffering. Endure it! Great grace is granted even when it doesn't feel good.
Look at Jesus during the Passion. He looked as if He was losing when in fact He was meriting the saving grace for our sins.
Let our lives more completely identify with His.

June 2, 1999 - Message Given June 1, 1999
Reading from Mass:
Tobit 2:9-14
That night I took a bath; then I went into the courtyard and lay down by the courtyard wall. Since it was hot I left my face uncovered. I did not know that there were sparrows in the wall above my head; their hot droppings fell into my eyes. This caused white spots to form, which I went to have treated by the doctors. But the more ointments they tried me with, the more the spots blinded me, and in the end, I became completely blind. I remained without sight four years; all my brothers were distressed on my behalf; and Ahikar provided for my upkeep for two years, until he left for Elymais.
My wife Anna then undertook woman's work; she would spin wool and take cloth to weave; she used to deliver whatever had been ordered from her and then receive payment. Now on the seventh day of the month of Dystros, she finished a piece of work and delivered it to her customers. They paid her all that was due, and into the bargain presented her with a kid for a meal. When the kid came into my house, it began to bleat. I called to my wife and said, 'Where does this creature come from? Suppose it has been stolen! Let the owners have it back; we have no right to eat stolen goods.' She said, 'No, it was a present given me over and above my wages.' I did not believe her, and told her to give it back to the owners (I felt deeply ashamed of her). To which, she replied, 'What about your own alms? What about your own good works? Everyone knows what return you have had for them.'
Messenger: We are trying to help those who are spiritually dead. We are trying to lead the ones in a dimmed light to a deeper, deeper union with our beloved Lord in the depth of His Sacred Heart. When will they come forth from the tomb and see the light of the glorious day, the splendor of a day of living our life deeply rooted in Him? Life is not life if it is not rooted in Him. We are meant to live in Him in a deep union all through the day. He is not separate from our daily living most of the week and then with us for an hour on Sunday. He lives in us at all times in a most profound union when we are in the state of grace, as do the Father and Holy Spirit.
And so our eyes are covered with debris (our spiritual eyes), whether with dirt or bird droppings, until He opens them. From the time of Adam and Eve the light was dimmed. The Victorious One comes to save, to open our hearts to be filled with this great sharing in His divine Life. We must enter the tomb, die to self, give ourselves to Him and His pure and holy Heart and come forth victorious from the tomb. Our bondage is lifted when we are baptized and we come alive more and more in a perfected way of living in Him as we give our hearts to the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Our tainted hearts are made more pure in Him.
Jesus speaks: Come out of your tombs, life is life existent in Me, not for a moment or an hour. True life is a oneness of living in Me and dwelling in My pure and holy Sacred Heart.
I wish the prayer service at China, Indiana in August to be held August 19, 1999, instead of August 13, 1999. A service with a tape will be held on August 13, 1999. I will send My messenger on August 19, 1999, at 12:00 noon for the monthly service. I wish all possible to attend on this date. I wish some to gather August 13, 1999, 12:00 noon and listen to the tape delegated for that day. Life is in Me.
I wish Florida to have a prayer service both days at 12:00 noon. I also wish the usual 6:20 p.m. prayer service. I wish this great devotion to Our Hearts be given on these two days before the image.
On July 5, 1999, there will be a big celebration of the 5th anniversary commemorating Mary's first appearance as the Lady Clothed with Light and as the Sorrowful Mother at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center. This was the official beginning of the daily visits from My Mother for 14 months. Small cards should be distributed announcing the importance of this date. Any Shepherds of Christ apostles that can be there for this celebration would greatly please My Mother. She wishes prayer as a body before her image on this anniversary. You should tell this to all apostles in the mailing announcing the new 108 day novena. Place the card in the mailing telling of the events of July 5, 1999, the 5th year anniversary. All should make an effort wherever they are to gather in groups and pray on July 5, 1999, at 6:20 p.m. as instructed.
My messenger has other information concerning the events of this date.
I wish the people in China, Indiana, to come for adoration on June 11, 12 and 13. Encourage people from the area churches to come before the Blessed Sacrament. I wish this church to be a Center of Eucharistic Adoration. I wish prayer manuals, children's rosary books, Holy Spirit Novena books, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus books to be available at the door. I wish you to encourage those who come to pray to be an apostle of the Eucharistic Heart and pray the prayers.
Tobit's eyes were covered with cataracts. Only I open the eyes. You can go everywhere you want to try to open your eyes, but I give the grace that opens the eyes of your hearts.
Ephesians 1: 17-18
May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and perception of what is revealed, to bring you to full knowledge of him. May he enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you, how rich is the glory of the heritage he offers among his holy people,
Jesus speaks: It was tremendous suffering for Me to know how God intended His creatures to be and how they were and would be even after My death on the cross.

Lament for Jerusalem
As he drew near and came in sight of the city he shed tears over it and said, 'If you too had only recognised on this day the way to peace! But in fact it is hidden from your eyes! Yes, a time is coming when your enemies will raise fortifications all round you, when they will encircle you and hem you in on every side; they will dash you and the children inside your walls to the ground; they will leave not one stone standing on another within you, because you did not recognise the moment of your visitation.'
Jesus speaks: I sweat Blood in the garden.
Now you do not properly see. Your eyes are crusted over. You have missed your visitation. You are so little aware of the power in the Eucharist, of the fact I am truly present. You ignore the Lady on the building.
The holy ones must pray more fervently and realize they are the light of my Sacred Heart that shines in the world.
Your light must shine. If you have been busy spreading My material and trying to reach souls and are weary and your own eyes are crusting over in the world, be renewed.
I am the Almighty God. You must be existent in Me. You are walking My Passion with Me, knowing how the Father wants His children to be, knowing the gifts given from God, living in a blind world. But your heart must be loving while you are suffering.
You know what God wants for his people, you are suffering from the blindness of the people and the enemies that surround you. You are weary from the frustration of delivering the message. When they whipped Me, I loved. You cannot lose your love or you yourself have slipped into blindness. You are working with your brothers and I have given you a great light to see and know Me, My word and the Father's plan more fully. You must be like Me. Walk amongst the brothers and be selfless and loving. I was not worried concerning how I looked when I carried My cross, I carried it in love.
I love you with the burning love of the Divine God.
I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Please honor Me this month in this devotion to My Heart and spread this devotion to the earth.
Have courage and work to help to bring the love of My Heart to the children of this earth to build up My Kingdom.
I love you so much.
